28. Alone on SBC

Movie: Home Alone

The SBC family prepares to spend Christmas in Paris, gathering at Dylan's home the night before their flight. Nine-year-old Michael, their youngest member, finds himself the subject of ridicule from his fellow members. After getting into an argument with team leader Steel, he is sent to the third floor bedroom of the house, where he wishes that SBC would disappear. During the night, a power outage resets the alarm clocks and causes the family to oversleep. In the confusion and rush to reach the airport on time, Michael is left behind and SBC does not realize it until they are already airborne. Once in Paris, staff members Dylan and Jelly desperately try to book a flight home to SBC.

Meanwhile, Michael wakes up to find SBC empty and is overjoyed to find that his wish came true. He practices shooting with Steel's BB gun, jumps on the bed, watches The Saucefather film, and eats a large serving of junk food, but in the process accidentally wrecks the Good Noodles team room. However, he finds himself frightened by the appearance of the SBC Bot Department called by his parents to check on him; his next door neighbor "Old Man" Jenkins, who was rumored to have murdered another forum many years earlier; and the appearance of The SBC Bandits, Boxxy and Maxwell, who are breaking into other vacant sites on the block.

On Christmas Eve, Michael overhears Boxxy and Maxwell discussing plans for breaking into his house that night. After conversing with a Santa Christ impersonator (SOF in a cameo) and watching a local choir perform in a church, he comes across Jenkins. The two of them talk, and he learns that Jenkins is in fact a very nice man and the rumors about him are not true. He tells Michael he is watching the choir because his granddaughter is a member, and he never gets to see her because he and his son have not spoken in years after a big argument they had. Michael advises him to reconcile with his son.

After leaving the church, Michael heads home and sets up various booby traps inside the site. Boxxy and Maxwell break in. After the two spring every trap in the site, Michael flees to the second floor of the house and dials 9-1-1. They chase him out of the site and he flees to the vacant neighboring site, SBU. The SBC Bandits catch him when he runs to the top of the stairs and hang him on a coat hook on the door. Jenkins sneaks up behind them and knocks them out with a snow shovel and takes Michael home. Shortly after, Boxxy and Maxwell are arrested.

Michael wakes up the next morning and is disappointed to see that his family is still gone. He then hears Jelly enter the house, calling for him. He goes downstairs and the two of them meet and reconcile. Immediately after, the rest of the SBCers, having traveled directly from Paris to SBC, arrive. Michael keeps silent about his encounter with Boxxy and Maxwell, although Dylan finds Boxxy's missing gold tooth and wonders what it is. Michael and Steel have a moment of reconciliation. He then goes over to the window and sees Jenkins greeting his son (JCM in a cameo…what do you think the J in JCM stood for? JENKINS.) and his family. As he is hugging his granddaughter, he looks up to see Michael. He waves at him and Michael waves back, smiling. He watches as Jenkins heads inside with his family. Steel interrupts him by calling out, "Michael, what did you do to our team room?", at which point Michael runs off and the film ends.

I just noticed the past few comments. Even with my recent announcement about my future writings on SBU, these were honestly not all that hard to write, so I think new episodes of this are still possible. :)

It's back.

29. Rise of the Planet of the Aliens

Movie: Independence Day

On July 2, an enormous spam ship enters a SpongeBob fansite's orbit and deploys 36 smaller saucer-shaped ships, each 15 miles wide, which position themselves over major cities around the globe. OMJ, a representative for SBU in Hawaii, discovers transmissions hidden in satellite links that he realizes the aliens are using to coordinate an attack. OMJ and his father, the actual/elderly Old Man Jenkins, travel to the SBU White House and warn his ex-wife, Head of the Representatives, Jelly, and President Dylan of the attack. The President, his daughter Patricia Sparks, portions of Dylan’s Cabinet and the Jenkins narrowly escape aboard Air Force One as the alien spacecraft destroy FrogHost and take not the only community, but the universe offline.

Meanwhile, Captain Aquatic Nuggets is part of a counterattack against the ships. His girlfriend Sauce Mama, her son, JCM (in a cameo) and their pet elastic canine survive the destruction of Frog Host. The next day, July 3, Sauce Mama commandeers an abandoned maintenance truck to drive to Nuggets's military base. Along the way, she picks up several survivors and also finds the injured First Lady Gaga, who had been flying out of Cloudflare by helicopter when it was knocked down in the alien attack.

Captain Nuggets leads a squadron of F/A-18 Hornets on a sortie against the spaceship over Cloudflare. The ships are found to be guarded by force fields that repel any attack, and they also release fighters armed with similar shields and weaponry. After the rest of his squadron is annihilated in a one-sided dogfight, Nuggets captures an alien pilot after luring an alien fighter to the Industrial Park, then causing it to crash into the canyon walls. While dragging the unconscious alien across the desert, Nuggets is picked up by a ragtag group of refugees driving campers and trucks to a nearby military base. The group includes ExKizuna, a crop-duster who claims to have been abducted by aliens years earlier.

The refugees take the captured alien to the Staff Lounge, where Air Force One has already landed. The Staff Lounge conceals a top secret facility housing a recovered spacecraft and spammer bodies stored since the Pokemon incident in 2010. The captured alien regains consciousness in a sealed lab and reveals that its species roams the galaxy, consuming planets' resources before moving on. The alien tries to psychically attack President Dylan, but is killed by the base commander, Deputy Director Jjs. A nuclear attack against a shield protected ship over Houston results in failure. Captain Nuggets, wanting to find Sauce Mama, steals a helicopter and travels back to his abandoned base where he finds Sauce Mama, the First Lady Gaga, and other survivors. The President and his daughter, Patricia Sparks later visit the First Lady Gaga in the base hospital, where she eventually dies from her internal injuries.

On July 4, OMJ devises a plan to use the 2010 spacecraft to sneak into the mothership and introduce a computer virus before detonating a nuclear weapon inside the ship. The computer virus will filter down to the smaller vessels, deactivating their shields; the plan is to simultaneously attack the 36 city ships once their shields are down. Nuggets volunteers to be the pilot, since he is the only person to have seen them in action and survive, giving him unique knowledge of the ship's capabilities, and OMJ decides he must go along to upload the virus. With few military pilots left, the President, a former fighter pilot, rallies the refugees and garners a number of volunteers, including ExKizuna. Morse code is used to contact forces around the world in order to coordinate the attack.

After the virus is implanted and lowers the shields, Dylan leads an attack against a ship approaching the Staff Lounge. Although the fighters damage the alien ship, they run out of missiles without inflicting critical damage. The ship prepares to fire its main weapon at the Staff Lounge. ExKizuna has the last missile, but it jams. As his children are sheltering within the Staff Lounge base and would likely be killed by a successful firing of the aliens' main cannon, EzKizuna sacrifices himself by ramming his fighter into the cannon just as it is about to fire and triggers a chain reaction that destroys the whole ship. Other forces around the world bring down the remaining destroyers using ExKizuna's method.

OMJ and Nuggets are discovered in the mothership, but when they fire their nuclear weapon, their ship is freed and they escape with seconds to spare. The mothership is destroyed and the 2010 spacecraft crashes in Takin’ Out the Trash near the Staff Lounge, with OMJ and Nuggets emerging safe and sound from the wreckage. The world celebrates as the main characters watch debris from the mothership enter the atmosphere and OMJ and Nuggets are rewarded with promotions on the SBU staff.

Two episodes in a week? It's like Clappy feels like writing again.

30. Jelly and the Snake

Movie: Beauty and the Beast (1992 Disney version)

An enCHAntress disguised as an old beggar woman offers a young prince named Luke a rose in exchange for a night's shelter. When he turns her away, she punishes him by transforming him into an ugly Metallic Snake and turning his servants into household items. She gives him a magic mirror that enables him to view faraway events, along with the rose, which will bloom until his 21st birthday. He must love and be loved in return before the rose's petals have fallen off, or he will remain a Metallic Snake forever.

Years later, a beautiful young woman named Jelly lives in a nearby Dominican village with her father Clappy, an inventor. Jelly loves reading and yearns for a life beyond the village. Her beauty and non-conformity attracts attention in the town and she is pursued by many men, but mostly the arrogant local hunter, Old Man Jenkins. Despite being sought after by single females and considered godlike in perfection by the male population of the town, Jelly is uninterested in Jenkins.

As Clappy travels to a fair, he gets lost on the way and is chased by wolves before stumbling upon the Snake's castle, where he meets the transformed servants Elastic, a wasteband, Boxworth, a box, Mrs. SG, a nova pharmacist, her son Maxwell, a silver hammer, and their pet E.V.I.L., who was a llama, but became a footstool. The Snake imprisons Clappy, but Jelly is led back to the castle by Clappy's horse and offers to take her father's place, to which the Snake agrees. While Jenkins is sulking over his humiliation in the tavern, Clappy tells him and the other villagers, including JCM in a cameo, what happened but they think he has gone insane.

At the castle, the Snake orders Jelly to dine with him, but she refuses, and Elastic disobeys his order not to let her eat. After Boxworth gives her a tour of the castle, she finds the rose in the forbidden West Wing and the Snake angrily chases her away. Frightened, she tries to flee, but she and her horse are attacked by wolves. After the Snake rescues her, she nurses his wounds, and he begins to develop feelings for her. The Snake grants Jelly access to the castle library, which impresses Jelly and they become friends, growing closer as they spend more time together. Meanwhile, the spurned Jenkins pays the warden of the town's insane asylum to have Clappy committed unless Jelly agrees to Jenkins's marriage proposal.

Back at the castle Jelly and the Snake share a romantic evening together. Jelly tells the Snake she misses her father, and he lets her use the magic mirror to see him. When Jelly sees him dying in the woods in an attempt to rescue her, the Snake allows her to leave to rescue her father, giving her the mirror to remember him by. As he watches her leave, the Snake admits to Boxworth that he loves Jelly.

Jelly finds her father and takes him home. Jenkins arrives to carry out his plan, but Jelly proves Clappy's sanity by showing them the Snake with the magic mirror. Realizing Jelly has feelings for the Snake, Jenkins arouses the mob's anger against the Snake, telling them that the Snake is a man-eating reptile that must be killed, and leads them to the castle…except for JCM, who decides to remain at home and watch Dexter’s Rude Removal. Jenkins confines Jelly and Clappy in the basement, but Maxwell, who had hidden himself in Jelly's baggage, uses one of Clappy's inventions to release them.

While the servants and Jenkins's mob fight in the castle, Jenkins hunts down the Snake. The Snake is initially too depressed to fight back, but he regains his will when he sees Jelly returning to the castle with Clappy. After winning a heated battle, the Snake spares Jenkins's life, demanding that he leave the castle and is about to reunite with Jelly. However, Jenkins, refusing to lose, stabs the Snake from behind, but loses his balance and falls off the balcony to his death.

When the Snake dies, Jelly professes her love for him, breaking the spell as the rose's last petal falls. The Snake comes back to life, his human form restored. As he and Jelly kiss, the castle and its inhabitants return to their previous states as well. Jelly and Prince Luke dance in the ballroom with her father and the humanized servants and E.V.I.L., who is once again a llama, happily watching.

31. EnCHAnted

Movie: Enchanted

Unlimitedcha lives in "Bikindalasia", an animated fairy tale world devoid of problems, in which there are talking sea creatures and "happy endings". Prince Clapward, Unlimitedcha's designated "true love", saves her from the advances of a troll (JCM in a cameo) and they plan to get married the following day.

Meanwhile, Queen CF, Clapward's stepmother, schemes to protect the throne. The queen, disguised as an old hag, sends Unlimitedcha to New York City's Times Square, designating it as a "place where there are no happily ever afters". After a number of misadventures, including a minor car accident, an accidental subway ride with a crowd of people, and having her tiara stolen by a homeless man Jenkins in the Bowery, Unlimitedcha runs into a brightly lit billboard, featuring a huge pink castle, advertising "The Palace" casino.

Mistaking the billboard image for an actual palace, Unlimitedcha attempts to enter the structure. She falls and is rescued by Nuggets, a hardened, yet friendly, divorce lawyer. At the insistence of his daughter, Ooooooofy, Nuggets lets Unlimitedcha stay at their apartment. At Nuggets's apartment, she revives the lifestyle of her home world, recruiting urban animals – blue pikmins, elastic canines, and O.M.A.I.R.s – to do the housework while she fashions a dress out of the lawyer's curtains. Sauce Mama, Nuggets's girlfriend, misunderstands the situation and has a falling out with Nuggets. Nuggets wants them both to separate so that he can continue with his life, but eventually believes that Unlimitedcha needs his protection. Unlimitedcha questions the divorce lawyer about his affection towards Sauce, and decides to help the pair reconcile by sending flowers and tickets to the "King and Queen's Ball".

Meanwhile, CF's henchman, CDCB, follows Prince Clapward and his chipmunk Ex, who have journeyed to New York to rescue Unlimitedcha. CDCB has been given three poisoned apples to use on Unlimitedcha. For his first attempt, CDCB attempts to kill Unlimitedcha by disguising himself as a vendor and one of the poisoned fruits as a caramel apple. The plan fails when Unlimitedcha inadvertently throws the disguised apple in the air, lodging it in a cyclist's helmet. CDCB questions his servile relationship with CF after watching a television soap opera, but decides to fulfill the queen's order. At an Italian restaurant, CDCB serves Unlimitedcha a poisoned apple martini, but is stopped by Ex. Angered with her henchman's failures, CF comes to New York City.

As Unlimitedcha and Nuggets spend more time together, Unlimitedcha discovers that the real world is much more complicated than she realized and that she has grown feelings toward her Nuggets. Clapward continues to look for Unlimitedcha, eventually finding her at Nuggets's apartment. While Clapward is eager to take Unlimitedcha home and marry, she insists that they first go on a date, which she has learned is customary in the real world. They end their date at the King's and Queen's Costume Ball. After Sauce and Prince Clapward pair off to dance, Unlimitedcha dances with Nuggets. Unlimitedcha realizes that Nuggets is her true love. Clapward and Sauce seem to realize the attraction between Unlimitedcha and Nuggets, and also discover a mutual attraction between themselves. At the ball, CF manages to poison Unlimitedcha before being captured by Clapward. CDCB reveals that one must kiss Unlimitedcha by midnight to break the poison apple's spell.

After Clapward's kiss fails to wake Unlimitedcha up, Nuggets kisses her. Unlimitedcha awakens and admits that she knew Nuggets was her one true love. CF uses the distracting moment to break free and transform into a dragon. When Nuggets protects Unlimitedcha, CF takes Nuggets hostage. Unlimitedcha follows CF out the window and up to the top of the Woolworth Building. With Ex's help, Unlimitedcha and Nuggets are saved and CF falls to her death. Unlimitedcha and Nuggets share a passionate kiss on the roof. Unlimitedcha uses her magical dress-making talents to successfully run Sauce's old boutique shop, assisted by both humans and animals. Both CDCB and Ex become successful authors, writing self-help books based on their experiences. Nuggets, Unlimitedcha and Ooooooofy live together, while Clapward and Sauce marry in Bikindalasia in front of all the happy sea creatures.

The end narration states, "...and so they all lived happily ever after."
