I've never been a fan of post-grunge but I guess I'd like to hear more rock-oriented tunes from the alt charts, or something of the sorts that doesn't sound like an edm club song

idk maybe I'm sounding too whiny but its annoying hearing stuff like this and EVEN THE CHAINSMOKERS on my alternative stations that are stuck on repeating the same new and old songs everyday.

I've always kind of been especially disappointed in Calvin Harris, because I actually really like "Acceptable in the 80's". Maybe his other stuff isn't really bad per say, but I've never really forgave him for switching his style to the indistinguishable muck that's apparently here to stay. (Seriously, is house the only genre of electronic music the pop industry think exists?)

btw, who are your favorite electronic acts?

I'll admit I haven't listened to much, but I do really like Tycho and while this one isn't apart of a record label, Pilotredsun makes good songs.

Aphex Twin has some good stuff, I love Boards of Canada a lot, I still enjoy some Tycho from time to time, and I want to explore more electronic artists such as SquarePusher and other Warp artists.

I did find some enjoyable Prefuse 73 songs while listening to some of their discography, and I love Royksopp's Melody A.M. album
