So I just realized that AJR have a number one song on the Alternative chart.
Why are alt stations putting "Sober Up" in heavy rotation? ...Just why?

Can I just say that I hate HATE Disney XD's new strategy in which they now air new episodes at a frequent pace for one month after stagnating them for few to several months? Over the course of this year, we've had two Milo bombs, one Star bomb with another one coming in November, one Pickle & Peanut bomb coming in October, and one Penn bomb (but then again, DXD had been yanking this show on a chain.)

My new avatar and username combo is based on one of the all-time best anime characters.
I've had this idea for a little while, so don't think it's a coincidence that Jjs and I are into the same anime

HOT TAKE: Rocket Power was a great cartoon and it brings me to shame that we now live in a time where it's now popular to hate it.

The fact that we have a large number of guests is still an enigma to me. (437 as of this posting)

Song vs. Song vs. Song: "Heavy" (Linkin Park), "Feels Like Summer" (Weezer), "Young and Menace" (Fall Out Boy). a.k.a.: Which comeback single is the most disappointing?

We now live in a day and age where people are writing articles all about one single detail from A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving. That detail involves Franklin sitting alone at the right side of the table on a lawn chair and how it can only be established as segregation or isolation and/or Schulz being racist and I can 100% understand why some are mad about this now, and I just noticed this so I don't know if people addressed this as an issue years ago, but it feels iffy to make these accusations without doing prior research on the animators or illustrators who designed that one particular detail, or on Schulz himself.

Now that Gravity Falls has concluded, I've now got to find another animated series to be a big fan of and keep track with. I should join the "annoying" SU fanbase and become an "annnoying" fan myself.

Can someone explain to me what AJR and Theory of a Deadman are doing on the Alt charts and why we're still apparently making both groups a thing?

AJR was pretty fine at first with "I'm Ready..."
But then they released one of the worst albums of 2017. It's not as horrifying as Spectrum Pulse suggests, who gave it a 1/10, but it still operates at least at a strong 2/10 for me. The Click is the kind of album that could've had some good potential, but yet it was completely ruined by the way it was executed.

And in case you guys aren't warned, let me recap on some of the tracks on AJR's album.
Spoiler"Overture" starts off good before proceeding into a chopped and screwed drop. And when it tries to redeem itself with the emotional-sounding portion, it then creates a messy mashup with a few of their other tracks. "Weak" has those horrible pseudo-Beach Boys falsettos in the chorus. "Sober Up," the song currently on the Alt charts, entails the singer telling a girl he hasn't known since recess in second grade to make him sober and has a pick-up line that goes "My favorite color is you." In "Netflix Trip," the singer looks back on the most important times of his life (his first crush, watching his mother grieve his grandfather's death, his eighth grade graduation) and connects them to his experience with watching The Office on Netflix, which happened during all those times. In "I'm Not Famous," the singer flaunts about he has no haters, doesn't get judged so much, and that no one cares about what he does because he's not a celebrity. "Three-Thirty" breaks the fourth wall ("how am I supposed to fit this in 3:30?") and tells its audience that they should listen before they skip the song because the band is only human and they don't stay for long. There's even one line that goes "I thought I had ADHD, but that's a real thing, and I'm just lazy." "The Good Part" is one of the most ironic titles for a song and has the second-most annoying set of falsettos on the album. And "No Grass Today" has a drop that sounds like....well, something in which I can't provide a link to. (TubeChop is not working for me ATM.)
Really, if you want to indulge in an album with a similar sound, I suggest just sticking to Jon Bellion's The Human Condition. It's not a superb album, but it's definitely polished a lot better than The Click.

Here's a strange question I have for any other music fan on here. I've been thinking about making a supercut at some later point, so I'd like to know if anyone knows of a song or songs with a chorus that ends at "tonight."

I should've also mentioned that I'm also counting songs that have lines containing a similar dialect to examples like "Hey Soul Sister" despite not exactly taking place at the end of the chorus. "We Are Young" has the one part that takes a short pause before it leads to the "tonight" long note and the very last word from the song is, of course, "tonight." (Working title for the supercut is the "...tonight/tonight. Supercut")
Asking for examples for songs that have a chorus that end at "tonight" is my way of getting things started. For those who are wondering how many examples I've got/found so far, I have 31 including "Hey Soul Sister" and the "We Are Young" near-example, holding on for around 10-20 more. Unless you folks want to be surprised by the final result, I'll be willing to share what I've got for when you guys end at a roadblock.

As a random hot take from me, I'd never image that I would turn a complete 180 towards my feelings on a particular song, but "Riptide" by Vance Joy has become a definite example of a song that I used to really like but I now can't really stand.
It's not close to my bottom 10 in terms of the year-end hot 100 list for 2015, but the more I delve into the song, I've since felt that it's pretty much "I'm Yours" except on a ukulele and if it tried to be thought-provoking. The one major pitfall that I've had with "Riptide" is that its lyrics mean and suggest absolutely nothing, as well as the mere fact that the song is practically a mish-mash of half-baked songwriting ideas.
I was easily captivated by the melody, the creative input for its lyrics, and the build-up towards the bridge, but nowadays, I can't feel that same way.
Also, I wouldn't call it a complete 180, but I'm also willing to admit that my thoughts on "Want U Back" by Cher Lloyd has grown on me since when I've disliked it for quite a long time. i'm sorry

I have a strange feeling that somebody is hacking is into random accounts to increase the members online count. Like, what are the odds of ANY of the banned members except Storm coming back at this occasion?

It turns out it may have been an issue with social media log ins (ie Facebook, Twitter, etc.). Basically, it seems like what happened was, if a user logged into facebook, they would login to SBC as well if their account was connected. We've turned it off for now.
Heh, so yeah....those 256 users were not fairly earned. Let's...just pretend this never happened.
