Metal Snake
Oh yeah, and I heard Pressure was banned in France for a short time due to the Battle of the sexes theme. That's a weird reason to ban an episode.
Karen
Maybe the episode "Just one Bite" because it got banned in one part where Squidward gets caught on fire from oil.
storytime7
Maybe the episode "Just one Bite" because it got banned in one part where Squidward gets caught on fire from oil. That was the only scene from the episode that was banned. Most people say it was because of the episode airing after 9/11.
Jjs Goodman
Maybe the episode "Just one Bite" because it got banned in one part where Squidward gets caught on fire from oil. Already been mentioned about it, but yeah, that scene was cut out.
Sebby
That's a weird reason to ban an episode. I'm surprised the French would ban anything, considering how liberal they are.
BeachBob95
I hope the DVD release of the SpongeBob Movie 2 contains a lot of extra material, including deleted scenes from the series through the years. That would be a good feature.
crushingmayhem
Hmm, controversial episode...I think I'm gonna have to go with Rock-a-bye Bivalve for obvious reasons, mostly due to the fact that Spongebob and Patrick were acting as a couple, and many conservative people might find it disturbing, not to other people though. Cha
The Splinter or RaBB likely.

Moar Boy
Oh yes, The Splinter. I rarely saw that episode aired here in Indonesia, maybe there's a reason For that.

crushingmayhem
I agree with your analysis. And yeah those suicide jokes are not funny at all, Demolition Doofus probably has the most offense to it because of Mrs. Puff's intentions.
Cha
I'm surprised they were able to get away with the suicide jokes. I know they've done some in the past (One Coarse Meal, Band Geeks) but this one was by far the most offensive.
4EverGreen
I'm surprised they were able to get away with the suicide jokes. I agree; suicide is NEVER funny! Even Warner Bros. was smart enough to realize that; there used to be a handful of "Looney Tunes" cartoon shorts that featured suicide for comedy effect, and now almost all of the cartoons featuring those scenes have either been edited to cut out the suicide scene, or are not shown at all! Cha
Wait, there's a suicide joke in Band Geeks? "Too bad that didn't kill me". It's not really one, but you get the point.

Well, I understand that suicide is kinda dark, but haven't we been asking for more adult humor for the past 8 years? This is something that little children won't get, and actually, I think the jokes were kinda clever in a way. They did take a big change, because people could have bad experiances with it. But yeah, it's life. Those things could happen with other jokes (Squidward falling in a cliff, of getting hit by a car). You can't please everyone. So Sejima
Gary Takes A Bath for dirty jokes and all If it had to be the most dirty though, then it's Krusty Dogs no doubt
