Clappy Posted August 3, 2011 Posted August 3, 2011 Well shit. Mine is awesome.I shall never know what its like to have an awesome Dairy Queen.
CyanideFishbone Posted February 10, 2013 Posted February 10, 2013 I have a Dairy Queen, but it's miles away from where I live. Same here. I went to one a while ago on my vacation to California. I go to Michigan every summer for a week, and they closed the DQ there down 2 years ago. When i went in California, i had fried shrimp (hey it was san jose california so) and a cookie dough Blizzard. YUM. Also, on my trip to the beach last May, we went there and had the same thing. YUMMM.
SG19 Posted February 18, 2013 Posted February 18, 2013 They have incredible desserts, but I don't remember what their meals are like since we haven't ordered one in a long time.
WWESpongefan Posted February 19, 2013 Posted February 19, 2013 I want to go to DQ more often... I tried on of their blizzards once. I had a chocolatechip cookie dough blizzard I think. I want another one some time.
box Posted March 5, 2013 Posted March 5, 2013 I went to Dairy Queen once and had a burger and fries. It was pretty edible. Didn't have any of the dessert though. I know, take me to the cannibal potluck party. I stink.
Metal Snake Posted March 12, 2013 Posted March 12, 2013 I love their ice cream and Blizzards, but I've never really tried their other stuff.
ClassicNickelodeon Fan 1 Posted September 3, 2014 Posted September 3, 2014 Sorry for bumping but I absolutely LOVE their Chicken Baskets with the fries and toast. Dipping them in ranch sauce mmm. Also love the cheese curds. I'm not a big fan of ice cream in general, but it is pretty good (that Cookie Dough Blizzard). However, since I don't often finish all mine food, I typically reheat the stuff...yeah it doesn't taste great re-heated (cheese curds and chicken are exceptions).
SG19 Posted September 23, 2014 Posted September 23, 2014 After working at DQ for a couple of months, I can say that their food is decent and still think their desserts are awesome.
crushingmayhem Posted September 23, 2014 Posted September 23, 2014 I need to try it out one day, some people say its good. Too bad there's no DQs here, i'll try to go to one the next time I travel.
4EverGreen Posted September 24, 2014 Posted September 24, 2014 After working at DQ for a couple of months, I can say that their food is decent and still think their desserts are awesome. I agree that their desserts are awesome, but have you ever been to a Bob's Big Boy restaurant? In my honest and humble opinion, they have awesome desserts as well!

4EverGreen Posted September 24, 2014 Posted September 24, 2014 Never heard of Bob's Big Boy. It's a restaurant chain that has its origins in the state of California. It's actually an older franchise than McDonald's is, having been originally created in 1936!

It's actually an older franchise than McDonald's is, having been originally created in 1936! If it's only in the state of California, then I probably won't ever get to one (I do get to California for vacations, but the only food we get up there is Jack in the Box and Del Taco).
I'M A TRASH CAN Posted September 24, 2014 Posted September 24, 2014 Haven't had one in years. Hope I get to have DQ again.
SpongeBob's #1 Fan Posted June 15, 2015 Posted June 15, 2015 Haven't had one in years. Hope I get to have DQ again. Oh, really? Because, there are 3 in my area!
Dr. Pepper Posted June 15, 2015 Posted June 15, 2015 Wait a minute, I've been to a Big Boy in Michigan.
SpongeBob's #1 Fan Posted June 17, 2015 Posted June 17, 2015 Wait a minute, I've been to a Big Boy in Michigan. I think that I've heard of Bob's Big Boy before! But, I've definitely never been there before!
