* Weird title card..

* SpongeBob is sharpening his spatula?

* Squidward is in his nightshirt from Sentimental Sponge.

* What is SpongeBob doing back there??

* Don't want to stand there, Squidward...

* That's gonna leave a few marks

* I did lol at the burnt Squidward and the customer eating him.

* Squidward is going crazy again!

* Some odd lawyers there.

* So they are super lawyers?

* That's a long spatula, didn't he use something similar in I Had An Accident?

* Lol, how did Squidward even get one star?

* Patrick is suddenly an employee?

* Ah, so Squidward has a stalker now..

* Where did his clarinet go?

* A clarinet plunger?

* The House of Misery...I like that.

* Saw that coming.

* Yikes, poor Squidward..

* So we know Squidward is allergic to sea berries.

* I'm glad to see SpongeBob stood in to stop it.

* Wait, he isn't?!

* Poor Patrick..

* Not a bad episode, not too much Squidward abuse as I was imagining.

I wasn't really sure what to expect of this episode. I had a feeling that it wouldn't be the best episode, and it lived up to my expectations. Some of it was a bit predictable, mainly the ending. I kinda wish they would have done a little more with this plot. It has so much potential.

Hmm well this was alright. It's the first episode with SpongeBob's name in the title card, kinda cool. I like the bit where SpongeBob asks Squidward if he can walk with him but he walks with him the whole time. The lawyers were quite a nice new fresh characters, I am glad they didn't over due them. When I was thinking of this episode earlier today before I saw it, I thought it would be a situation where Squidward needs SB's help and rips up the restraining order. But, it wasn't that way, Patrick drove Squidward crazy and I do enjoy me some Squidward and Patrick time. Patrick was a little too silly for me, but not as bad as other times. The button thing gave me a chuckle. I am suprised that SpongeBob wasn't upset to be far away from Squidward though, but I'm glad he wasn't overly crying if he did cry either. Like Are You Happy Now? the ending lacked for me.

I believe "Spongebob Meets The Strangler" did that eight years ago. :P

Anyway, I'm looking forward to catching this tomorrow. I heard Paul Tibbitt wrote for this episode. Is that true?

Internet sources tell me that indeed Mr. Tibbit wrote for this episode, Aquatic Nuggets.

I catched it when it was paired with Glove World, RIP.

* We begin with Squidward's epic faliures every morning trying to get SpongeBob to be quiet.

* One annoying walk to the workplace later......

* After being FRIED, Squidward goes crazy and crawls up the ceiling. Everyone's gotta feel sorry for

the guy, huh?

* New lawyer characters. Write down to put in spin-offs........ okay, back to the point. From them,

they explain that SpongeBob has a restraining order and cannot go within 15 feet of Squidward.

THAT'S NOT OUR PROBLEM!

* A scene where SpongeBob tries to improvise getting the food to Squidward. He fails.

* Patrick is hired to help. As you could guess, Squidward can't stand for it.

* We then have scenes where Pat & SB drive Squiddy crazy. I'm not going to say Squidward abuse

in particular, but this is... strange.

* The predictable ending has Squidward changing his restraining order to Patrick from Sponge.

This episode was..... strange. The plot had potential but wasn't executed the best. I give it a -

For the first time, I'm differing from the crowd. I didn't think this episode was mediocre whatsoever. I loved it! From the "Can I Walk with you?" scene, to the insanely hilarious lawyers, and then to a clever Spongebob formula subversion (Patrick is annoying Squidward here), it was a really great episode with a simple premise and a whole lot of jokes. This episode was spectacular.

The crowning moment of hilarity would have to be the collection of scens where Patrick was following Squidward. I was really cracking up at that part, especially when Patrick bumped Squidward's reflection from the mirror. I lol'd.

Great eppy. 9.5/10. (took off some points for the extremely stupid fart joke. Only bad thing about the episode)

168a - "Restraining SpongeBob" 14/20 (B-)

Unlike a few who thought this was mediocre, I really enjoyed this one. I didn't find anyone annoying (Despite a few brief scenes with Patrick) but that can be forgotten as the rest of the episode was very funny and the plot flowed well. I really enjoyed Mr Krabs in this for some reason and I also loved some of the sight gags (Especially SpongeBob trying to get the food to Squidward and getting it hit into Mr Krabs' face) Anyway, a truly enjoyable episode with good character interaction and funny moments.

No, I can't believe this is an actual episode. This piece of jefndhfdpf was co written by a joke writer for CWN. Ah well just gotta go with it. Anyways, the first part of the episode is Squiddo being tortured to unbelieveable heights by none other than Spongebob. After a couple minutes, poor Squid gets THROWN IN THE FRY VAT, THEN FLIES ONTO A CUSTOMER'S HAND AND GETS SOME OF HIS MEAT AND BONES BIT OFF AND GETS THROWN INTO A FREAKING METAL DRINK MACHINE. He begins crying in the rubble, and Krabs runs over, worried about Squid-wait, not Squidward!  HE'S WORRIED ABOUT THE GOD DANG DRINK MACHINE RUINED INSTEAD OF A SEVERLY INJURED EMPLOYEE THAT COULD COST YOU ONE DOLLAR FROM THE OFFICE WORKER SAFETY DEPARTMENT. Squidward is so pissed by this he gets a restraining order, restraining him from Spongebob. Since Patrick doesn't have a restraining order from Squidward HE follows Squidward around for most of the episode. At the end, Squidward decides to restrain Patrick from him, the episode ending with Patrick laughing.....oddly. CREEPYPASTA no no no I'm kidding. I just really hate this episode. The fry vat scene is really hard to watch, and there's really nothing funny about this episode.

Ugh. Yet another disposable Squidward Torture Porn.

Highlights

- For an episode based around torturing Squidward, Spongebob was surprisingly likable (especially in the second half). Sadly, this does come with a nasty catch.

- The "Can I walk with you?" scene was the highlight in terms of humor, even if it was only worth a slight chuckle.

Cons

- Fart joke was stupid.

- Squidward's justification for the restraining order was a complete mess. Simply, he brought all the mess to himself. He ignored Spongebob's warning about the grill, making him seem more like an ass for blaming him for something HE is clearly responsible for!

- The frying vat scene is one of the most comforting sequences of the entire series. I feel many other people have already elaborated this more than I could have, so I'll keep quiet.

- The aforementioned "nasty catch"? Patrick. He was extremely obnoxious, all throughout the episode. First, he stalks Squidward around the Krusty Krab, then he terrorizes him, and finally, he thinks of him as a monster. It's not funny at all.

- Also, his character was bluntly shoe-horned into the plot. Patrick could have EASILY been replaced with some other random character. It would have been less predictable, at the very least.

- No coherent ending.

Verdict?:  Aside from some extra infuriating elements it provided to the audience, it was mainly annoying, much like other episodes of its kind. I don't hate it absolutely, but don't consider that a recommendation. 2.8/10
