12a - B2: The Mighty Geeks

After his grandfather uses his connections to bail him out of doing any hard time over a failed ponzi scheme of his, Squilliam finds himself appointed as PMU's new band director as a means of "community service" in order to bring some honor and prestige back to the Fancyson name by turning the school's band around, which in turn, will motivate the football team to turn their 13 season long losing streak around because according to Squilliam the First, "everybody loves a good comeback story!" Professor Squilliam is at first overjoyed to find out that Squidward is in the band because more opportunities to be a dick in order to feel better about himself, but Miss Wobbegong sets him straight and reminds him that Squidward was the one who replaced him and absolutely killed it at the Bubble Bowl. She then threatens him that if his band doesn't motivate the football team to at least one win this season, she'll personally make sure to have him rot in prison where he belongs. Squilliam meets with Squidward and levels with him a little, both agreeing to set aside their differences in order to push the football team to their best season ever. The first game under Squilliam's tutelage ends with PMU losing by a landslide, but Squidward single-handedly slayed the rival home team's band with his clarinet solo (ya know, due to how freakin bad he really is). The next couple of games sees the crowd of spectators becoming more and more invested in the bombastic tactics of the bands rather than the actual game, which only serves to cheese off PMU's "star player", Ray, whose thunder is being rapidly overtaken by Squidward. The last game of PMU's season comes up and it's against the second worst team in their conference, the marauding Pirates of the University of the Caribbean. The UC band plays a killer rendition of Through the Fire and the Flames by Dragonforce. Being killed out there both on the field in the band stands, Squilliam goes into panic mode and eggs Squidward to pull another Bubble Bowl out of his tail fin, which he does by conducting his fellow band mates into a rousing rendition of Rock of Ages by Def Leppard that replaces "rock of ages" with "Pacific Maritime". This gives Ray and the football team the motivation they need to finally win a game, by just one point for even more dramatic effect. The episode ends with Ray and Squidward sharing the spotlight and Squilliam freeze framing into the air in victory.

First Appearances - Squilliam Fancyson III

Notes - SpongeBob makes an appearance via phone call, after Squidward sucks up his pride and realizes that he needs to consult him for help due to SpongeBob being the secret to his success at the Bubble Bowl; written by somebody who never took band a day in his life

Trivia - A scene that references to Drumline involving Squidward committing the ultimate act of band disrespect by using his own reed to play the other team's clarinets and the subsequent brawl that ensued was deleted because this is a one paragraph show and I was pushing it enough as it was; a new character, Squidrow Snazzydaughter IV, was also originally supposed to appear as Squilliam's rival band director at UC, but was ultimately cut out due to time constraints as well

12b - Jellyfish Go Away

A new gaming craze sweeps through the seven seas and quickly makes its way onto the PMU campus, Jellyfish Go! Everyone and their mothers are all in on it, trying to catch all 150 breeds of first generation jellyfish from the Speckled Squirter to the Two Fisted Jumper, Blue Crested Blaster, and Gold Throated Singer (and if you're really daring, the rare shiny No Name). Everyone except Squidward, that is, who is beyond annoyed at the thought of everyone being able to do something as uncultured and swiney as jelly fishing anywhere they damn well please. His daily rides on that weird lying down bike-thing of his sees him nearly running into distracted Jellyfish Go players after distracted Jellyfish Go players. His long scheduled clarinet solo performance at the campus cafe is attended only by distracted, uncultured and swiney Jellyfish Go players who only need a place to charge their batteries. Squidward tries to escape the craze by visiting Bikini Bottom for the weekend, only to find that his home now houses a Jellyfish Jam for players to rave with their jellyfish. He can't spend a Sunday alone in his dorm and read the Sunday paper without jellyfish hunters barging in trying to net in the jellyfish on his bon bons. In some vain attempt to drill some culture into everybody's heads, Squidward puts on a public display for his first time playing but quickly finds himself hooked to the game. Soon enough, he begins shirking his responsibilities and wasting his life away just like everyone else. Catching and harvesting as many jellies as he can for their jelly in order to buff up his more stronger No Name, Big Lenny, Magmarok and even King Jellyfish, which he uses to reclaim his house and stations it there to make sure that "Club Squidward is all but PENETRABLE!" He soon begins to realize the extent of his addiction, and not wanting to lower himself to everyone's level for long, he goes to Dr. Cuddlefish to take a break from it to less than satisfactory results.

Notes - Don't drive when playing Jellyfish Go; don't trespass while playing Jellyfish Go; always be aware of your surroundings while playing Jellyfish Go; second appearance of Dr. Cuddlefish; despite being hypnotized into thinking that playing Jellyfish Go is like playing his clarinet, Squidward goes back to playing the clarinet just fine in subsequent episodes

Trivia - Patrick's Dragon Jellyfish claimed and raved the Jam at Squidward's house

In an effort to save the programs getting cut, Squidward, Eellen, Peterpus, Ray, and Daphne decide to travel to Wobbegong's hometown in order to convince her to return to PMU. Wobbegong is initially reluctant, citing that the students have a lack of respect for her. She also reveals that she knows of her 'Wobber' nickname. He finds a metered spot a few feet away but realizes he doesn't have any money on him, so he drives across campus looking for a free parking spot, and when he finally finds one, another car speeds in before him. Squidward steps out of his car, preparing to confront the driver, but then the driver steps out of his car, revealing he's twice Squidward's size. Squidward sinks back into his car and drives back to his original parking spot, where another spot has just opened up nearby. He parks in the spot with less than a minute before class begins and hurries to the classroom only to find a note on the door that the professor is sick and has cancelled class. Squidward faints.

Episode 16a - Stop the Presses

When PMU's newspaper club needs a new writer, Ray decides to take up the task. He sees this as an opportunity to get his thoughts read by people and be able to contribute to the school. Peterpus, Eellen, and Daphne are happy for him, but Squidward doesn't care that much. Ray starts his first day on the job, and he meets the club leader, Mr. Swordfish. Swordfish tells the crew to get writing, as he hands them lists of topics to write about, either pertaining to the school or outside events. Ray finishes an article about sports and fitness. Swordfish tells him he likes it, but they need one more section. Ray decides to go a different route and hatches a twisted idea. Feeling he is in control, he writes a juicy "RMZ" column including gossip and rumors about students and teachers at the campus. The next day, some students are not very happy to see their names in the paper, especially Squidward, who Ray blasted as "a mediocre clarinet player". Squidward is not amused, and Ray tells him to relax, saying he needed to add some meat to the newspaper. Daphne, Peterpus and Eellen see Ray also wrote sly jabs about them in the paper, making them annoyed. They walk away in annoyance, and Ray has an epiphany, realizing he drove his closest friends away. He eventually meets up with them and acknowledging his flaws, apologizes to them, knowing he overstepped his bounds. They forgive him, as Ray resigns from the club, much to Swordfish's dismay.

First appearances: Mr. Swordfish

Notes: We learn from Ray's sports section that he uses the campus gym to work out for an hour each day.

Trivia:

-RMZ is a parody of celebrity gossip website, TMZ.

-One of the newspaper stories talks about a wild man eating clam, a reference to the SpongeBob episode "Opposite Day".

Episode 16b - Shell Shocked

While on his way to PMU, Professor Shell is seen at a stoplight. It turns green, as he slowly moves forward in his boatmobile. Unfortunately, the driver behind him goes too fast, and rams into the back of Shell's boatmobile, much to his annoyance. While nobody is massively hurt, the crash causes a giant crack in his shell. He can't show to class like this, but realizes he only has 5 minutes to get there, so he'll have to hide it somehow. He walks into class very angrily, tells the students to open their books, and begins writing notes down. As he turns around, Peterpus notices the crack on his shell and points it out. Professor Shell assures him he is fine, and it's nothing to worry about. After class, Peterpus tells the gang that Professor Shell's shell cracked, and he feels bad. The others at first don't care, calling him "an old grouch", but Peterpus says he shouldn't have to walk around with a cracked shell. Squidward, Ray, Eellen and Daphne decide to help pitch him and get him a new shell. They go to Angry Jack's Shell Emporium, and Daphne asks Angry Jack if they have any sea turtle shells. This makes Angry Jack very angry, because he only sells snail shells. He tells them to buy something or get out, as the gang gets out. Squidward says Angry Jack was somehow even angrier than the professor. The gang eventually uses their combined efforts to make their own shell for Professor Shell. They present it to him, as he puts it on surprised, saying it's not too bad. He says this will make a fine replacement, and that maybe the kids at this school aren't all bad. He then tells them to get out of his room, since it's his lunch break.

First appearance: Angry Jack

Notes: Angry Jack now has a store in New Kelp City.

Trivia: The title of this episode coincidentally is also the title for the SpongeBob episode of the same name, which is referenced with Angry Jack's Shell Emporium.

Thank you tvguy for the guest write opportunity.  It was an absolute honor to write in a format that I use to love so dearly once more.

Episode 18a - Squilver Bells

Longing for an extracurricular activity at PMU and jealous of Squidward and Eellen’s musical talents, Peterpus and Ray decide to enlist in an after school music program to learn how to play an instrument.  Impressed with their dedication, Squidward and Eellen sign up for a talent show at the end of the week where the four of them can do a musical quartet together.  Little do they know that while they predetermine that Peterpus and Ray will uncover their musical talent, Peterpus and Ray end up being awful at nearly every instrument they try to play.  Knowing that the talent show is coming up, they beg Professor Shell if there is any other instructor on campus that can teach them how to play the simplest of instruments and master it in days.  Professor Shell sends them to Professor Proton, the percussion professor.  In a three day training montage, where Ray and Peterpus fail in comedic fashion with every instrument of the percussion family, Professor Proton finally locates an instrument they are semi-successful at in the hand bells.  The following day, at the talent show, Squidward and Eellen are disappointed to discover that Ray and Peterpus didn’t learn how to play an actual instrument, while Ray and Peterpus are frustrated that Squidward and Eellen signed them up for a talent show without their thoughts or concerns.  After performing, the four actually end up laughing at how uncoordinated their tempos and beats where in their performance and make up.  The four end up going to Squidpotle afterwards.

First Appearance: Professor Proton

Notes: There were no cases of e.coli after eating at Squidpotle.  Daphne won the talent show with a dramatic reading of The Defendant is Not Guilty from To Kill a Mockingclam.

Trivia: To Kill a Mockingclam is an underwater adaptation of To Kill a Mockingbird.  To Kill a Mockingbird is one of Clappy’s favorite books he was forced to read in high school.

Episode 18b - Peterpus Takes the Fall

Professor Shell decides to hold a Battle of the Brains like trivia contest amongst everyone on campus where the winner gets a free dinner with Shell’s close friend, and Squidward’s long time idol, Kelpy G.  Knowing the stakes and exploiting his friend’s intelligence, Squidward begs Peterpus to throw the contest so Squidward can finally meet his hero.  The next day, Peterpus gets a question about Holland cheese wrong by saying “glockenspiel”.  Squidward gets the answer correct after Peterpus mouthed him the correct answer and wins the night out with Kelpy G.  Soon after as the days pass, the guilt starts to eat Squidward alive knowing he didn’t really win this contest fair and square and as he sees Peterpus sulk around campus.  The night finally arrives as Squidward gets to meet his hero, but as the night rolls on, Squidward soon discovers that hero worship is unhealthy as Kelpy G turns out to be an even more unpleasant squid than Squidward.  The following day, Squidward goes to Peterpus and apologizes to Peterpus about making him throw the trivia contest as the two make amends.  Squidward then goes to Professor Shell and admits that he didn’t truly win the night out with Kelpy G.  Professor Shell then admits to Squidward that he had a sneaking suspicion that Peterpus threw the contest so he purposely told him to act incredibly unpleasant around Squidward as a life lesson.  Knowing now to treat your friends with respect, Squidward’s heart grew three sizes that day…only to shrink three sizes again after his hopes and dreams were crashed once more.

First Appearance: Kelpy G

Notes: Remember kids, cheating is never the answer.  Cheaters never prosper.  Cheating is easy, stay away from easy.

Trivia: This episode was inspired by one of my favorite episodes of Hey Arnold.  Glockenspiel is not a type of cheese, it’s an instrument.

Here's a guest write from me. Hope you folks enjoy it.

Episode 19a - Fancy Feasts

Squidward decides to take up a club activity to curb his boredom. Due to almost every club being full, he ends up in the only one available: Culinary Club. He is welcomed by no one besides a trio of crabs named Carrie, Christian, and Pinch, who are dedicated to culinary art and also work as assistant cooks. As a member of the club, Squidward gets access to the cafeteria kitchen and intervenes with the lunch menu when he requests to spice things up with "typical school food" by introducing the cooks to recipes of cuisines from his grandmama. Eventually, Squidward becomes a cook, and starts serving his favorite dishes to the student body. Because Squidward's specialties have become so overwhelming, the culinary club decide to kick him out, as the trio felt that Squidward has had too much control over the kitchen. However, most of the students at PMU have developed a constant craving for Squidward's specialties alone, that Squidward decides to turn back to the culinary club to bring back their spirit into serving school food to keep things from going out of control. He helps them create dishes that the students would love the same as Squidward's specialties, and it succeeds, putting the culinary club back in their place. This also gives Squid the opportunity to rejoin the club, but he chooses to decline the offer.

First Appearance: The Culinary Club (Carrie, Christian, and Pinch)

Notes: First rule of Culinary Club is you don't talk about Culinary Club.

Episode 19b - Taking a Trance

Mr. Shell assigns his students into groups of three to create a short, original clarinet composition within three weeks. Squidward and Eeleen find themselves paired up with a student named Alan Salmon, who happens to be a nutcase for creating alien-related conspiracies, such as if aliens use clarinet music for means of interplanetary communication. As Squidward and Eeleen spend some with the student, Alan suggests creating a piece that would be in the style of a hypnotic trance. However, Squidward starts thinking about how strange Alan is as he follows him around, seeing him trying to pick up an alien radio signal, hanging around at a crop circle farm, and ordering his sandwiches without mayonnaise. Squidward is convinced that Alan himself is an alien while Eeleen suggests Squid has gotten wrapped up in Alan's conspiracies. While practicing, Alan recites part of the composition that he, Squidward, and Eeleen have composed together, and the two ended up getting into a trance-like state, until Alan stopped playing. Realizing this, Squid becomes convinced that Alan might be using mind control in front of the class. Eeleen decides to help as she feels Squid might be on to something. Later, the two, wearing headphones, appear alongside Alan for their recital. Squid and Eeleen notice the "mind control" kicking in. At the moment the rest of the class and the professor stood and got closer to the three students, Squidward panics and lays down a sour note to end the trance. After Squidward tells Alan he believes he's using mind control, Alan reassures him that he wasn't intending to do such a thing. The group end up with a B-grade for the one sour note, while Eeleen asks Squidward if he's learned something about being careful about how he judges, before Squidward caught his eye on Alan hitching a ride home on a UFO. Squidward got a surprised look at first, but then shrugged it off.

First Appearance: Alan Salmon

Trivia: Old Man/Cannonball Jenkins makes a cameo at NKC's crop circle farm.

Squid is back with Season 2! As tvguy stated, I'll be running this now.

Episode 21a - Snow War

One day, a blizzard comes to town, so PMU classes are cancelled. Squidward, Daphne, Peterpus, Ray and Eellen rejoice, so they decide to play around in the snow at a park. They have an intense snowball fight outside, becoming an all-out war. The five set up their own forts, and throw snowballs at will. It's a long, cold, and difficult fight, as snowballs go flying everywhere, even hitting some innocent passerby's. The last two standing are Squidward and Ray. In the end, Ray catches Squidward off guard, knocking him in the face with a snowball. Ray wins the challenge, as the gang congratulates him. Ray asks if they want to do a round two, and they say why not, as they begin to remake their forts.

Notes - First winter-themed episode.

Trivia - Squidward's snow fort bares a resemblance to his house from Bikini Bottom.

Episode 21b - Eugene's Offer

One day, Mr. Krabs decides to visit New Kelp City to announce the grand opening of a new Krusty Krab there, trying to expand the franchise. Squidward hears about this, and decides to give the old man a visit with his friends. They notice things are still being set up inside, and a "Help Wanted" sign is on the window. Mr. Krabs gives Squidward a jolly pat on the back, asking how he's been doing in this place. Squidward tells him about his experiences, and introduces Krabs to his friends. Krabs says they look like a nice bunch, and states New Kelp City has been cleaned up a lot in these past few years. The gang wish him luck with the restaurant, but before they leave, Krabs stops Squidward, stating he has an offer for him. He asks if he would like to help work at the New Kelp City Krusty Krab part-time, for old time's sake. Squidward thinks it over, saying he wanted to move on from his Bikini Bottom shenanigans. He appreciates the offer, but declines it, making Krabs a little sad, but he understands. However, Peterpus decides to step up, offering to be the fry cook. He said he's heard so much about the famous Krabby Patties, and would be honored to help make them. Daphne says she could use a job as well, needing the money to pay for college, and offers to run the cash register. Ray says it couldn't hurt, and takes up the offer as well. Eellen also takes interest. Mr. Krabs says they have touched his heart, but warns the Peterpus boy that he better not suck at cooking. They both laugh, promising he'll try his best. Krabs shows the four around the restaurant, and how things work. Squidward is happy his friends have part-time jobs, but deep down, feels a bit jealous and annoyed.

Notes - This is the second time Mr. Krabs has appeared in the spin-off, the first time being for a cameo in "Give Em Shell". This is his first major appearance.

Trivia - The New Kelp City Krusty Krab has a vending machine with products such as Barnacle Chips and Kelp Nougat Crunch.

Major Events - A new Krusty Krab is opened in New Kelp City. Peterpus, Daphne, Ray and Eellen get part-time jobs there. Peterpus will be the fry cook, Daphne will run the cash register, while Ray and Eellen will do other things.

Episode 22a: Jellyspotting (Part One)

Daphne throws a party one night, sneaking some "sauce" onto school grounds. Soon enough, everybody, including Eellen who gives into the peer pressure, is going crazy and having a good time. All except for Peterpus, who politely declines, and Squidward, who believes only the weak-minded gives into peer pressure. But when he starts feeling left out of the festivities, Squidward finally decides to take just one sip and that one sip turns into another until he downs entire gallons by himself in a matter of minutes. Peterpus and Daphne try to get Squidward to cool it, but he chastises them for being squares, all while Eellen and Ray seem to welcome his sudden change in mood. Squidward, Ray and Eellen go out causing all sorts of ruckus around campus when they're finally stopped by the PMU campus police after they catch Squidward and Eellen vandalizing their patrol boat. A night of being locked up seemingly scares Eellen, who can barely even recall the night's events, straight.

Episode 22b: Jellyspotting (Part Two)

But even after their run-in with the law, all the partying is over and classes are in session, Squidward and Ray can't seem to put the bottles down and begin to shirk their responsibilities. Ray and Squidward get into it with Mr. Shell, who can smell the sauce on them, during class before they both storm out. The stress of school, work and Squid and Ray's increasingly erratic behavior starts getting to Eellen and she uses all the money she makes from work to give into temptation again to help forget all her troubles. Squidward in particular is starting to get too rowdy for even Ray to handle at times. Peterpus can't bear to see his group of friends fall apart like this so he tries to convince Daphne to help him with their situation, but she doesn't believe it's her problem that they're a bunch of lightweights and that her lips haven't even touched the stuff, having only brought the sauce to the party for everyone else. Daphne changes her tune later that night when she finds Eellen passed out from sauce poisoning in their dorm and she's admitted into the hospital.

Daphne confronts Squidward and Ray in order to set them straight, but she ends up getting into an argument with Squidward that heats up to a point where Peterpus has to step in to her defense. Squidward and Peterpus come to blows, with Squidward wailing on Peterpus, which forces Ray to come to Peterpus' aid and gets Squidward to back off him before Squidward cracks a sauce bottle over Ray's head and leaves. Ray promises Daphne that he'll seek help. Peterpus, hurt and depressed by the the recent events, finally turns to the sauce to help him cope with everything, indulging in more than his body can handle, before deciding to just get away from it all by hopping into his boat mobile and leaving. He doesn't last long on the road, crashing into the campus statue of Wobbegong right after pulling out of his stall. Squidward comes upon the scene of the accident along with a large group of other students and calls to get help for his friend.

Peterpus is admitted to the hospital in serious condition, but he comes out of it with only some broken bones. Squidward, Daphne and Ray visits Peterpus and Eellen in the hospital where they all agree to swear off sauce for good. Squidward, Ray and Eellen each decide to go see Dr. Cuddlefish to help them through their addictions.

First Appearances: Campus Police

Notes:
 - This is a "a very special episode".

 - We learn about Ray's rough upbringing by his single father through one of his drunken ramblings and when he confides in Daphne after the fight with Squidward. His mother having apparently been out of the picture for years.

 - We learn about Peterpus' family history of sauce addiction during his stay in the hospital, which is why he refrained from indulging in the stuff initially.

23a. Punk's Not Dead

During an extended weekend (for what reason is not specified, presumably college business), Peterpus gets tickets to a punk rock show at the famed club SBSP from a friend of his. Intrigued by the New Kelp City punk rock scene, Squidward decides to attend, along with Ray, Daphne, and Eellen. At the club the group is introduced to legendary noise rock/hardcore punk band the Barnacle Surfers, notorious for their theatric stage shows featuring bizarre/gross visuals (such as various overlapping films, copius amounts of fog, strobe lights, among other things) and auditory abuse. Unimpressed and nauseated by the Surfers, Squidward decides to look into other, less extreme forms of punk. Fascinated at the diverse ideas and various iterations of the genre, Squidward debates whether he should start his own band. With encouragement from his friends, Squidward does so, forming avant-punk band The Squids (with him on vocals/clarinet, Peterpus on guitar, Ray on bass, Eellen on drums, and Daphne on clarinet). Over the next few weeks, the five grow better in practice, recording a few demos and scoring a gig at SBSP, headlined by famed punker Kelpo Bikini, an older fish in about his fifties or so as well as ex-frontman for the band Dead Nematodes. Before The Squids go on, however, Squidward discovers that much to his dismay Kelpo is a jaded and self-absorbed old cod who sticks to the classic anarchist view of punk as well as having a haughty attitude. During the concert, the group sees Kelpo encouraging violence...and not the good moshing kind. Realizing what could happen if he and his friends continue in the punk scene if left unchecked, Squidward and Peterpus abruptly stop the concert and call out Kelpo for his self-inflicted betrayal of punk ideals, reasoning that he is not true punk if all he thinks about is causing chaos and not having fun. Incesed by this speech, Kelpo lunges at Squidward as if to attack...but is stopped by security. As he is dragged out of the club, Kelpo swears revenge on Squidward, who tells him that he can kiss his tailfin. Reflecting on what has transpired, Squidward decides punk isn't his thing, with his pals agreeing.

Notes:

-Punk, and music in general, is about having fun and enjoying yourself.

-The Barnacle Surfers are a parody of the Butthole Surfers, as well as SBSP being a spoof of legendary New York club CDCB, where many punk groups played over the years. It is also Spongebob's initials.

-Kelpo Bikini's name is a spoof of Jello Biafra, frontman for the Dead Kennedys, one of Renegade's favorite punk bands.

-The title is a reference to the documentary Punk's Not Dead.

-The Dead Nematodes are a reference to the Dead Kennedys.

First Appearances: Kelpo Bikini (a possible semi-recurring antagonist), the Barnacle Surfers (Gibby, vocals; Paul, guitar; Jeff, bass; King, drums; Teresa, drums, playing in unison with King; and Kathleen, dancer)

23b. Of Dunces and Dragons

One evening, Squidward notices Peterpus reading a rather odd tome: a P&P player's handbook. Rather perplexed that his best friend is reading such a thing, Squidward asks what it's for. Peterpus explains that one of his classmates, a nebbish little anchovy named Ned, invited him to join a role-playing game session. Curious, Squidward decides that he'll come along, but simply to observe. Peterpus gladly accepts the invite, elaborating that the game is next Friday. When that day comes, Squidward decides to sit alone in a chair with a notepad and pencil. The episode then transitions in a pulp magazine-worthy fantasy adventure involving great warriors, dark magic, and enticing ladies. At the end of the episode, Squidward is humbly invited to play by Ned, who christens him as "Squonan the Barbarian".

Notes:

-Out of the main cast, only Peterpus and Squidward appear.

-The episode's title, as well as P&P, are references to SpongeBob ("Dunces and Dragons" and "Mid-Life Crustacean", respectively).

-A Barnacle Surfers poster appears at the beginning, as well as a demo tape made by The Squids.

24a.  Monster Krabby Headache

Squidward and Ray have a contest of eating the most mysterious meat of several different ingredients despite the better judgement of Peterpus. At first they wake up the next day and find absolutely nothing wrong with themselves. They continue on for several more days, weeks, years go by as they eventually graduate the university with many experiences but in general positive. They start their own families and everything seems pretty good in life with their jobs, even though they went their separate ways. But suddenly, they are woken up in the university's medical office. They are deadly shocked to find out they were just in a three hour coma from what they ate and did not have their dream lives. The rest of the episode is them coming into grasp that their ideal future wasn't real while Peterpus assists them and their hallucinations in a sort of dark comedy way.

24b. Tensed Tentacles

Squidward is sent a very passionate love text addressed from a girl on the campus, although she doesn't mention her name. At first Squidward acts as if he's not impressed but soon starts to visualize and swoon over the message sent from this person. Soon afterwards, Squidward and the gang try to figure out who this mysterious person is, although it is nearly impossible to find out who it is. What makes it worst is Eellen when borrowing Squidward's phone accidentally deletes the text message, leaving Squidward no way to contact the girl back and ask her name. Eellen suggests to an angry Squidward that he should publicly declare his love for her and out of options, he agrees. Ellen and Peterpus sent up decorations and a little stand for Squidward to gather fellow university students around at. He gushes and pours his heart out towards them. A few minutes afterwards a sort of blushed face fish lady comes up to Squidward. Squidward blushes too as he realized due to her reaction, she is probably the lady he was looking for. But everything comes to a screeching halt as the girl tells him she thought the entire time she was texting back and forth with her boyfriend, who had recently changed numbers himself. She awkwardly walks away as Squidward is looked heartbroken on the floor. Ray comes by and makes some sarcastic comment about why Squidward never mentioned his name in the text and Squidward replies with she called him Roger, but he assumed it was some sort of cute pet name.

Trivia - There's a sign in the background of the campus grounds saying King Neptune to give a speech next Wednesday about the art of ruling over subjects with an iron fist.
