Clappy Posted October 13, 2017 Share Posted October 13, 2017 That trailer just locks it in for me that this is the most anticipated I've been for anything Nickelodeon related in at least ten years, possibly even longer (I would say in the 2000s, but I was pretty hyped as fuck for the Rugrats: All Growed Up special in 2001 that led to the spin-off). I've been so hyped for this that I've been rewatching Hey Arnold on Hulu. The adventure, characterizations, the animation, the emotional aspect of it and some twists I didn't see coming. They were brilliant. It finally wrapped up the whole show with Arnold finally reuniting with his parents and I kind of teared up to that scene. It was great to see the parents wanting to spend more time with Arnold but Arnold having his first day of school. So he's in 6th grade now, good luck buddy. Helga pretty much stole the movie for me. Despite her being a bully, she does have a heart of gold. Arnold wouldn't manage to get his parents without Helga. I'm perfectly fine with Helga and Arnold becoming a couple. My only complaint is probably that there are a few toilet humor and I wish that we'd get to see Helga actually standing up to her parents for how they have been treating her like nothing and treating Olga well. I was also gonna complain how everything was being in favor of Arnold that easily (winning the contest) but they explained that so damn well.
