(Haha, nah, I'm bored at work and decided to do it for him since it was inevitable and everything. No really... I do nothing at my job, and I'm very bored.) It's your favorite time of the year: it's Stop What You Are Doing season! After voting for your favorite SWYAD theme, we have come to the conclusion that next week's theme will be... Cartoon Characters! (Sorry to those who voted for Storm, but no cigar on this one) For those who have never done a SWYAD before, it's basically where everyone on SBC changes their name and avatar to fit a specific theme - this time being cartoon characters. Unlike other times where people have changed their name to fit some sort of fad that happened on SBC, SBM, Xat, etc., the SWYAD is officially endorsed by SBC, and as such, name changes are free during the SWYAD. It's basically a glorified masquerade, and it's a lot of fun! To participate, you'll need to call "dibs" (or double dog dibs if you're into that kind of thing) in this topic starting today. On July 20th, head on over to the SBC store and claim your free Name Change item and change your name and avatar to fit your cartoon character. The SWYAD will end on July 27th, and you will be required to change your name and avatar back. After July 27th, the Name Change item will go back to costing 500 doubloons, so be warned - we will not change it back for free after July 27th! Sooooooooo... call dibs on your favorite character!
