A forum to discuss it. A whole wiki and section for the best fan fiction. A site for the latest news, and one main hub to tie it all together. It sounds like the most amazing thing for any show, really, right? Right? Right. Too bad it failed. SpongeBob Universe had amazing intentions, but due to a rushed launch, on January 1st, it fell short. A mediocre homepage with videos that didn't work, an unfinished (though beautiful wiki), and filled to the brim with features that didn't even work, it isn't hard to brand the first launch of SBU a failure. And while our activity has definitely increased since then, SBC has been feeling a bit stagnant since March. While SBU languished in failure, all the other parts continued along. It was almost as if SBU had never happened. And to be honest, there are times when people wanted to forget about SBU completely. It was an embarrassment. But embarrassment diminishes. And this is where SBU Squared kicks in. Just like with a lot of movies recently, SBU Squared is essentially, a reboot. But, you may ask, what is SBU Squared, and why should I care about it? SBU Squared is basically SpongeBob Universe on steroids, and is the second release of SpongeBob Universe. Every feature of SBU has been beefed up to the max. Starting off with the forums. SBC is, in many ways, is the heart of SBU- where the members can talk about episodes and anything really. And since 2009, the site has come incredibly far, from a tiny forum hosted on Forumotion to a moderately large forum with amazing graphics and great members (thanks in part to terminoob, Dylan, hilaryfan80, jjs, 70s, and the rest of SBC's amazing staff). And it's time to get bigger again. Oceans is v9 of SBC. With it comes a plethora of new features, but with the core SBC experience you love. Oceans, as the ninth version of SBC is accompanied by several other big-features that we are going to keep secret until SBU launches. On Thursday, the wiki will go down for maintenance, and on Friday at 8 PM EST, SBC will follow suit. Come to the Xat that night for a chat party, a countdown, and some chances at exclusive SBU Sneak Peeks! And the next day, SBU will have relaunched, with tons of cool, new features. The countdown party begins on July 19th, on the Xat, at 8 PM EST. As with the Orca launch party, there will be an Xat Games held! Be there or be.. squared!
