There's nothing necessarily WRONG with that...as LONG as its done in moderation. Unfortunately, most shows that DO focus on that kind of humor DON'T follow that rule, unfortunately. Personally, I don't think ANY show could match the caliber that "Ren & Stimpy" had; the original is almost ALWAYS the best! JCM Posted February 24, 2014 Share Posted February 24, 2014 With shows like Sanjay and Craig and now this, it seems like Nickelodeon is now trying hard to compete with Cartoon Network and their shows like Adventure Time and Regular Show. Obviously, they aim for the same target audience, so they have to compete. Breadwinners is a good, solid kids' cartoon, so I have no problem with Nick using it to compete with other shows. Cha Posted February 26, 2014 Share Posted February 26, 2014 Watched the last episodes and I thought they were decent enough for a kid's show. I especially liked how their baby frog pet was named Jelly. The plots are pretty basic, so little kids won't have a problem getting into it. I totally agree with JCM, I have little problems with it. I saw a bit of a particular episode on YouTube and it was just abysmal in my opinion. I just can't get over the fact that the characters don't even look like ducks for crying out loud!
