Well, you can't deny the recent new Nicktoon shows have been focusing a lot more on toilet humor and fart jokes as comedy.

Because this is the first time in television history that cartoons have ever focused on toilet humor and fart jokes.

There's nothing necessarily WRONG with that...as LONG as its done in moderation. Unfortunately, most shows that DO focus on that kind of humor DON'T follow that rule, unfortunately.  :( Personally, I don't think ANY show could match the caliber that "Ren & Stimpy" had; the original is almost ALWAYS the best!  B) But I certainly hope that "Breadwinners" can carve out a unique niche on Nickelodeon. :D Enough said! ;)

With shows like Sanjay and Craig and now this, it seems like Nickelodeon is now trying hard to compete with Cartoon Network and their shows like Adventure Time and Regular Show.

Obviously, they aim for the same target audience, so they have to compete. Breadwinners is a good, solid kids' cartoon, so I have no problem with Nick using it to compete with other shows.

Watched the last episodes and I thought they were decent enough for a kid's show. I especially liked how their baby frog pet was named Jelly. :P The plots are pretty basic, so little kids won't have a problem getting into it. I totally agree with JCM, I have little problems with it. It just doesn't have most of the adult appeal as say Adventure Time does.
