Season 2 Discussion

Basically the start of SpongeBob's golden years. Season 2 has some of the best episodes in the whole show. It doesn't have QUITE the consistency of season 3, but the great episodes in it are REALLY great.

Season 2: A/A+

A big jump from season one in quality in my opinion. The only episodes from this season that I don't like that much are Squid On Strike and I'm Your Biggest Fanatic. Everything else is great. 9/10

The only thing that's holding me back from saying season 2 is as good, if not better, then season 3 is the fact that the first few episodes aren't on the same level as the rest of the season. It seemed like an awkward faze for the series.

I used to think this too, but now I find Your Shoe's Untied hilarious and Squid's Day Off passable (though Squidward looked kind of creepy).

This season does have a lot of great episodes, but it also has a few duds. Season 3 has no duds, and that's why I consider it better than this one.

Overall, An amazing season! so many gems, and This is where Spongebob's Revolution began.

All of the season 2 episodes are classic and this is one of my favorite seasons. These episodes are ones we've been rewatching for years and still never grow weary of. It's so hard to chose my favorite of the whole season. My top two might be Sandy, SpongeBob and the Worm and Wormy.

Never mind my other post, every episode with an exception of Procrastination and I'm With Stupid is absolutely classic.

While it did have a couple baddies, it was still a very good season.

Only flaws were Wormy, Dumped, and I'm With Stupid. Everything else was amazing.

A very good season, in my opinion. I didn't like Procrastination or I'm with Stupid, but I thought everything else was pretty good.

 

My ratings, in order of appearance (for episodes I remember):

 

• Your Shoe's Untied - 9/10. I loved the fact that nobody in Bikini Bottom could figure out how to tie a shoelace...except for the snails!
• Squid's Day Off - 8.5/10. A little creepy, but still a classic.
• Something Smells - 6/10. I only watched this about 1-3 times, because I almost throw up every time I see SpongeBob's ketchup and onion sundae at the beginning. 
• Bossy Boots - 9/10 just because the Kuddly Krab uniforms made me laugh.
• Big Pink Loser - 10/10.
• Bubble Buddy - 10/10. Absolute classic; I'm so happy that Bubble Buddy reprised his role in "Bubble Buddy Returns".
• Dying for Pie - 10/10.
• Imitation Krabs - 9/10. The whole robot thing always reminds me of "Krab Borg".
• Wormy - 7/10. I didn't really like this one.
• Patty Hype - 10/10. I loved this one so much I even made a topic about it.
• Grandma's Kisses - 10/10. Makes me cry every time.
• Squidville - 10/10.
• Prehibernation Week - 9/10.
• Life of Crime - 10/10.
• Christmas Who? - 10/10. "Christmas Who? Is she a friend from Texas?" LOL

My favorite season. There was only one bad episode (Bossy Boots) maybe a few eh, it's ok episodes but overall almost every episode in this season was amazing and would leave me rolling on the floor. 5/5
