Season Thoughts:

This season is easily the peak of the series along with season 3. Seriously, this season is the peak of Spongebob’s humor, being hilarious throughout the whole season, and being amazing in other major aspects too, such as the stories and characters. The only flaw really is Grandma’s Kisses, and that’s just one episode. This season has TONS of amazing episodes, and also tons of great ones. It’s an amazing season.

Despite this being my least favorite pre-movie season, it is still amazing. There are tons of incredible episodes this season had to offer, and there was also of course the huge bump in animation as well as comedy. While it isn't my personal favorite season, I still think it deserves all the praise it gets, and I totally understand why so many people consider this the best season.

I really like this season. It's a definite highlight of SpongeBob, and one people that are new to the show should check out.

Least favorite episode: Grandma's Kisses

In-the-middle episode: Sandy, SpongeBob, and the Worm

Overrated episode: Frankendoodle

Underrated episode: Squid on Strike

This is in my opinion the best season of SpongeBob, with my least favourite episodes being Your Shoe's Untied and Krusty Love, which both are still pretty good. It is the only season getting a 10/10 from me, with every episode being a killer and I love it by heart.

This is the season where "Spongebob Squarepants" really started to hit its stride on just how the characters normally behave (with only a few hiccups here and there until season six, before resuming regular normality in season nine), as well as the types of situations and plots the characters would find themselves in. Honestly, most of this season was pretty stellar!  The only episode segments that I don't like were "Life of Crime, Grandma's Kisses" (mostly because of the ending), and "Sailor Mouth". Every other episode segment would probably be a 10/10!  It's not often you get a season of an animated show that's full of practically just hits! Enough said!

The shows greatest season. Only 1 episode I am not a fan of, but the rest is truly fantastic. Comedy is top notch, it is creative, so many episodes land bullseyes. Can't say much else that wouldn't echo other opinions
