Guest hilaryfan80 Posted November 12, 2017 Posted November 12, 2017 I decided to give SBC a nod to our past: the browser that you're using shows up in your posts now! Before: After: Note that for space issues, browsers do not show up on mobile right now. I'm going to eventually revamp badges on mobile because it's kinda weird. Currently, the browsers only work for Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Internet Explorer, Edge, Opera, and Android. If you use any other browser, you won't have a browser show up. Don't sue me: Font Awesome doesn't support any other browser. Ask them to support your browser! Do you like the new browser feature? Let us know.
MMM Posted November 12, 2017 Posted November 12, 2017 (edited) Huh, I vaguely remember seeing that while looking around the old forum. Interesting. EDIT: My actual browser isn't Chrome, the one I'm using isn't on your list, so whatever Edited November 12, 2017 by MMM
crushingmayhem Posted November 12, 2017 Posted November 12, 2017 Its always great to remember the past. I really like this.
OWM Posted November 12, 2017 Posted November 12, 2017 What a great way to commemorate SBC's past. I like it! I see most of us are Chrome users as well, too.
sbl Posted November 12, 2017 Posted November 12, 2017 That's pretty cool. I'm using Firefox Nightly btw if it doesn't show up
SpongeOddFan Posted November 12, 2017 Posted November 12, 2017 lmao i remember that feature vaguely good times.
Cream Posted November 12, 2017 Posted November 12, 2017 This is pretty cool. Even if it doesn't affect me as much as I wasn't around during that time, it's always nice to bring some things back from the past.

I know quite a few browsers use a mainstream engine to power it, like Brave using Chrome's engine (therefore SBC would think you're using Chrome). I could detect your actual browser, but then you wouldn't have a browser listed.
