Joker Posted January 23, 2015 Share Posted January 23, 2015 Enchanted Tiki Dreams is incredibly overrated and not even very good. SB's Last Stand is one of the best S7 episodes. I like The Great Snail Race, A Flea in Her Dome, To Save a Squirrel, The Gift of Gum, Night Light, Rise and Shine, Drive Thru, Boat Smarts, Gone, and The Main Drain, amongst others. Eek an Urchin is one of my favorite episodes of the show. Season 5 is better than Seasons 9, 8, and 4. Move It or Lose It's twist ending is great. Enchanted Tiki Dreams, while it's nice to see Squiddy be happy for once, it lacks plot and humor. Also, before he actually is happy, we have to watch Sb and Pat annoy him with their eel. Then when the actual happiness starts, it's really plotless. Like, all it is is a bunch of tiki heads singing and Squidward enjoying stuff. It's like watching a Squidward Happy Porn (and yes, I thought of that off the top of my head). Normally, I'd be fine if there were humor, but they don't even ATTEMPT it. I don't think it's the greatest episode by all means but not the worst either.... IDK, it just brings some pleasure to my eyes when I watch it When I watch tv, although it's fun to analyze, most of the times I just watch the episode for what it is and in the end, did I enjoy it or did I not is how I look at it. But yeah, I would categorize A Pal For Gary as "good", mainly because I do like it when I watch it but other than that, I thought SpongeBob's obliviousness was funny and seeing Gary struggle did make me feel bad, but it was still entertaining I guess. If anything though, A Pal For Gary would be one of the worst "good" episodes for SpongeBob. And me saying this episode is good over and over again is starting to make me rethink if it's actually good And most of the time if I hate an episode, it's simply because it's boring, not because of Squid abuse or a dumb toenail scene.
