10. "This is a hotel?"

krusty-towers-2.jpg?format=jpeg&matteColor=white

Krusty Towers - 81 points

5 of 11 lists. Highest Ranking: #3 (Clappy)

When Mr. Krabs learns how much money hotels make, naturally, he decides to turn the Krusty Krab into one. He even steals the motto of the hotel he went to: "We will never deny a guest, even the most ridiculous request". Naturally, this means problems for Squidward, as he has to carry Patrick's (the hotel's first customer) heavy bags up the stairs, because he can't take the guest elevator. When he gets there, he realizes that the bags are full of rocks. Patrick keeps adding to the ridiculous requests every time Squidward gets to the bottom of the stairs. He finally decides to quit when he has to give Patrick a bubble bath.

Soon after exiting the Krusty Krab, Squidward re-enters... as a guest. Mr. Krabs initially refuses to serve Squidward, but Squidward tempts him with cash. Never being able to resist money, Mr. Krabs fulfills every one of Squidward's ridiculous requests. He finally asks for an indoor swimming pool, which Patrick jumps in, causing Krusty Towers to collapse, leaving only the Krusty Krab. They are all in the hospital with major injuries. Mr. Krabs, after seeing the hospital bill, tells Squidward, SpongeBob, and Patrick that they are all going to medical school.

Am I the only one who would love to see an episode where Squidward, SpongeBob, and Patrick go to medical school?

9. "Part two? Part two part two part two part two part two!"

Dying for Pie - 83 points

5 of 11 lists. 1 #1 vote - PatBack

When Mr. Krabs tries to encourage employee brotherhood by making his two employees give each other gifts, SpongeBob gives Squidward a sweater of eyelashes. Squidward nonchalantly throws it back in his face, but when SpongeBob makes one with his tears, Squidward decides he has to get the little weirdo a gift.

He sees pirates with pies, and asks about them, if they were homemade. One pirate replies "Oh, these aren't homemade, they were made in a factory. A bomb factory. They're bombs." Squidward remarks that it's too bad, because he was hoping to buy one. The captain quickly dispels the truth and sells Squidward a pie for 25 bucks. Squidward takes it to Mr. Krabs who decides to taste it, but then thinks that it would go great with some milk. While holding a piece of the pie, he trips and falls, exploding the piece of pie/bomb. SpongeBob hears the explosion and rushes out to the scene, where he discovers a pie from Squidward. He walks out to Squidward and Mr. Krabs, thanking him for the pie. Squidward is horrified that he indirectly killed SpongeBob. Mr. Krabs remarks that he's only got until sunset before the pie drops into his lower intestine and explodes. Squidward decides on this:

Watch out for Squidward, indeed. He asks SpongeBob what the most fun thing he can think of is. SpongeBob replies that he carries a list of the most fun things he can think of. The things that are extra fun, he's written in red. Everything's in red.

The first thing SpongeBob does is show his best friend Squidward to everybody in town, first sans salmon suit, then with. Then come knock knock jokes, friends in reverse, whatever the heck the next thing was, trading faces, and open-heart surgery. Finally, the last thing on his list is to watch the sunset with Squidward.

As they wait for it, SpongeBob burps, as if something had just dropped into his lower intestine. Then the countdown begins. As Squidward awaits the explosion after saying "one", SpongeBob realizes they started too early. So Squidward counts down again, but before he can finish, the explosion happens. After Squidward cries over SpongeBob's loss, another one occurs, revealing that SpongeBob was just blowing exploding bubbles. He demands to know why SpongeBob didn't explode into a million pieces, and it turns out SpongeBob never actually ate the pie, he saved it for them to share, Naturally, the pie explodes in Squidward's face.

Yep, there's a new episode in town that made my #1, dropping this one to #2. Still a perfect basis of what a SpongeBob episode should be.

How do you cover your eyes during that scene, yet have that avatar? :P

Because I'm afraid of most bugs, so watching that was mortifying. Plus, it's animated with a very gross noise to go with it. My avatar is just a gross creepy picture. (Look up Smile Dog)

8. "Will we be getting business cards?"

357616.jpg

Shanghaied - 90 points

5 of 11 lists. Highest Ranking: #5 (Webby)

When the "sky has a baby", according to SpongeBob, he, Patrick, and Squidward set out to investigate. After climbing the rope they soon learn that the "baby" is actually an anchor dropped from a ship. When they get on the ship, The Flying Dutchman appears,. confirming this as his ship. After blasting Squidward multiple times with his... nose-fire power, he decides to make SpongeBob, Patrick and Squidward his crewmates. After Squidward refuses, he is thrown into the Fly of Despair, prompting SpongeBob and Patrick not to refuse.

After they make the ship look good and scary, Patrick drives the Dutchman's ship... through rocks, destroying it. As if that's not enough, SpongeBob and Patrick ruin any chances of the Dutchman scaring people. The Dutchman confines them to their bunk room where he tells them that because things aren't working out, he's just going to eat them. SpongeBob and Patrick look to escape, but the only way out is through the... perfume department!

Man, it sucks going in there. After the perfume department experience, SpongeBob and Patrick overhear the Dutchman writing in his diary, and learn that he can't eat without his dining sock. So they steal it. The Dutchman tries to fry them, but SpongeBob uses the sock to block the flames. The Dutchman relents, and gives them three wishes. Patrick wishes he had known that earlier, using up one of them. SpongeBob, excited, wishes Squidward were here to see this. Squidward escapes the Fly of Despair and comes back to the ship, using up the second wish. After some arguing over who gets the final wish, the Dutchman uses "Eenie Meenie Minie Mo" to decide, and he picks SpongeBob (in the ending we see, anyway). SpongeBob wishes that the Dutchman was a vegetarian so he wouldn't be able to eat them. But then the Dutchman turns them into fruit.

7. "Could you move it along? I'm all out of time cards."

Wet Painters - 91 points

7 of 11 lists. Highest Ranking: #2 (chocolatesoup)

To stop SpongeBob and Patrick from getting themselves injured, Mr. Krabs gives them a task to paint his house. He warns them not to get paint on anything but wall, because it's permanent. If he sees the slightest bit of paint on anything but his wall, he'll cut off their butts and mount them over his fireplace. He exits, telling them to have fun with the job.

SpongeBob and Patrick work very carefully so as not to get any paint on Mr. Krabs' stuff, but problems occur when a giant paint bubble appears. After Patrick worsens the problem by making another giant paint bubble, the two fuse together and explode. Miraculously though, it all ends up on the walls. Except one little drop of paint on Mr. Krabs' first dollar.

Horrified, SpongeBob and Patrick try everything they can to wash off the paint, but it only makes it worse. They decide to hide it behind a stack of paintings when Mr. Krabs returns. He soon finds out, but washes it off with saliva. SpongeBob thinks that Mr. Krabs lied to them so they would learn to be careful, but Mr. Krabs replies that he just likes messing with them. An angry SpongeBob and Patrick leave as Mr. Krabs laughs it up. However, the saliva from his laughs gets all over the walls, washing off all the paint. Mr. Krabs really has to learn to say it, not spray it.
