I made an error in telling you that the "next 4" episodes would be only on one person's list at #3. This is the last one. Sorry PatBack, but...

47. "Meatball, meatball, spaghetti underneath! Ravioli, ravioli, Great Barrier Reef!"

Imitation Krabs - 23 points

1 of 11 lists. Highest Ranking: #3 (PatBack)

After another foiled attempt to steal the formula, Plankton devises a genius plan: he builds a Krab-bot for him to control, and therefore fool SpongeBob into giving him the secret formula. After giving Squidward a much-needed vacation, he tries to reach SpongeBob, but the task is made insurmountable with ":that pest Krabs popping in and out". So Plankton distracts him with a penny, and the task can be re-surmounted.

However, it is still a difficult task, as SpongeBob makes Krabs/Plankton go through several age-old rituals before he gives him the formula. Before it gets handed to him, Mr. Krabs bursts in, following the path of the penny. This leads to a confrontation between Plankton and Krabs, which SpongeBob breaks up with the threat of tartar sauce.

He asks Mr. Krabs and Plankton a series of questions, which Krabs fails miserably on, and is therefore given the tartar sauce treatment. Just when it looks like Plankton is finally going to receive the formula, SpongeBob deposits the penny in a coin-operated self-destruct slot. When the robot self-destructs, SpongeBob realizes the mistake he's made and rushes out to save Mr. Krabs, who is currently fighting off a seafood lover.

SpongeBob rescues Mr. Krabs, and for all the tomfoolery, Mr. Krabs docks him a penny of his paycheck.

Why doesn't he do one in the morning, one in the afternoon?

I have very little time in the morning to post an episode on weekdays.

46. "He poisoned our water supply, burned our crops, and delivered a plague upon our houses!"

Bubble Buddy - 23 points

2 of 11 lists. Highest Ranking: #6 (Webby)

Bubble Buddy was probably one of the biggest menaces ever to hit Bikini Bottom. He kept a long line of bathroom-goers waiting, he called Larry and his cohorts fat, driving them to eat celery, he washed Pearl's flipper, he owed Mr. Krabs money, he made Squidward provide excellent service, and he made Scooter experience high tide! Now that is one dirty bubble.

But he was also SpongeBob's friend, when no one else could play with him. He stood by SpongeBob's side when Patrick went to buy more giant paper, and Sandy went south for the winter (say, don't squirrels hibernate? somebody's trying to avoid someone...). So, he is a complex bubble, leaving when things were starting to get weird for him. And this is a talking bubble we're talking about. Bikini Bottom sure is a weird place.

45. "Firmly grasp it in your hand."

Jellyfishingbandage.jpg

Jellyfishing - 24 points

1 of 11 lists. Highest Ranking: #2 (Unlimitedcha)

Jellyfishing jellyfishing jellyfishing jellyfishing jellyfishing jellyfishing jellyfishing jellyfishing jellyfishing! One of SpongeBob and Patrick's favourite pastimes. And this marks the episode where Squidward gets dragged along for the ride, to make his best day ever THE best day ever (after soup and SpongeBob's music didn't quite make the cut). Squidward goes after a jellyfish that stings him. He catches it, but in a fit of victory, he unwittingly bangs his captured jellyfish against a much bigger prize: a queen jellyfish. After being attacked by the aforementioned jellyfish, he is pout on life support. For revenge against SpongeBob and Patrick for taking him on that journey in the first place, he sends his caught jellyfish after then. But the queen jellyfish comes back and stings him once more. In the immortal words of Squidward, "Ow".

Noted.

44. "I want to defeat the giant monkey men and save the ninth dimension!"

big-pink-loser-2.jpg

Big Pink Loser - 25 points

2 of 11 lists. Highest Ranking: #2 (Clappy)

In this episode, Patrick receives an award. Unfortunately, the only reason he received it is because the delivery person was incompetent and the award was actually meant for SpongeBob. After lamenting about how he wants to win an award, SpongeBob encourages him to get a job at The Krusty Krab, which he does.

Unfortunately, Patrick being Patrick, he's incompetent at pretty much everything there is to do there. So SpongeBob teaches him to open a jar. After a long time of learning what a jar is and where the lid is, Patrick finally does it! SpongeBob tells him to do exactly as he does and he'll have an award in no time!

So Patrick takes his advice to heart. He dresses like SpongeBob, talks like SpongeBob, and acts like SpongeBob. Pretty soon, SpongeBob becomes sick of it, as you can imagine. He tries to get Patrick to stop copying him, but Patrick won't budge. He's convinced that he can no longer win an award as Patrick Star. But then another trophy gets delivered by Incompetent Trophy Delivery Man, only this time it's for Patrick! What's the award for? Why, for doing absolutely nothing longer than anyone else, of course! Patrick rushes home to protect his title.

(On a side note, I find it funny how residents of Bikini Bottom just randomly get trophies delivered to them.)

43. "An experienced employee of the month always keeps a brick of lead in his hat."

employee-month-2.jpg?format=jpeg&matteColor=white

Employee of the Month - 25 points

3 of 11 lists. Highest Ranking: #9 (PatBack)

It's that time of... well, month again: the time where Mr. Krabs picks his employee of the month! Squidward blows off the award, telling SpongeBob that it's all a scam, but SpongeBob doesn't believe him. SpongeBob starts to worry when Mr. Krabs (jokingly) says that Squidward could get the award this year. So SpongeBob is determined to make sure that Squidward doesn't wake yup in him by destroying his alarm clock.

After it's revealed that Squidward has a multitude of alarm clocks, the confrontation starts. Squidward professes that he could win the award if he wanted to, but SpongeBob blows him off. Squidward, incensed, finally decides to compete with SpongeBob for the award. After a multitude of traps set by both of them, Squidward and SpongeBob decide to call a "truce", with neither of them really agreeing to it. They terrify Old Man Krabs with their too-eager maintenance "skills", breaking tables and dishes along the way. Then they battle to see who can make more Krabby Patties, destroying The Krusty Krab in the process and letting passerby help themselves without paying. Needless to say, no one probably won that year.

42. "That's Tennisballs... I mean Tentacles!"

The Great Snail Race - 26 points

2 of 11 lists. Highest Ranking: #12 (Michaelmn)

When Squidward receives a purebred snail (and no, that does not mean she's made of bread) named Snellie, he informs SpongeBob that he's entering it in the Bikini Bottom Snail Race, insulting Gary in the process. SpongeBob decides to prove Squidward wrong and enter Gary in the race as well. He begins his training by donning a fake mustache and calling Gary a "lady", meant to demean and humiliate him. Meanwhile, Sandy decides to kick SpongeBob's butt tomorrow without knowing why.

Patrick has decided to enter his "snail" into the race as well, which is actually a rock named Rocky, who has nerves of steel. After multiple failed attempts, SpongeBob decides to go into overdrive with training Gary, overworking him and making him exhausted.

On the day of the race, Gary works as hard as he can to beat Snellie, but due to overtraining, he blows out his eyes and shell. SpongeBob sees the error of his ways and tells Gary to stop, but not before Gary rams into a wall and explodes. SpongeBob runs onto the track, which is an automatic disqualification. Meanwhile, Snellie seems all geared up to win the race, but then she turns around to help Gary. So who won during all that?

And Rocky is crowned the winner, but Patrick, being the nice guy that he is, has his trophy engraved for Squidward... Tortellini. The episode ends with Sandy kicking SpongeBob's butt, as promised.

41. "...and I'm wearing three pairs of underwear right now!"

The Secret Box - 26 points

2 of 11 lists. Highest Ranking: #8 (Unlimitedcha)

SpongeBob wants Patrick to go jellyfishing with him. Patrick says he will, but he has to put away his secret box first. Naturally, SpongeBob wants to know what's inside, but Patrick refuses to let him see, or Squidward's house, for that matter. Even after SpongeBob reveals secrets of his own, Patrick still refuses.

SpongeBob decides that the only way to find out what's in the box is to sneak a peek while Patrick is asleep. So he does so. Even though his feet make abnormally loud noises as he walks toward the secret box. But it's when SpongeBob remarks that Patrick is a heavy sleeper that he wakes up. Patrick is very upset, and declares their friendship to be over. But then, he letys him look inside if he really wants to. SpongeBob opens the box to find a piece of string. He leaves, commenting that he should've known, but little does he know that you pull the secret string to reveal a secret compartment, revealing an embarrassing photo of SpongeBob at the Christmas party!

(Oh, by the way, the Christmas Who? photo being the photo here makes no sense. It wasn't even a Christmas party.)
