Clappy
Sauce's status update got me thinking....how many people still own vinyls? I have a few as hand me downs from my mother and I own a few myself. While I don't have a record player, I like hanging them up on my wall since I have movie posters as well as vinyls. Guest
My dad has a super gigantic vinyl collection with like 300 or so of them, and he still collects to this day. We play vinyls on our 3 in 1 thing which can play CD's, cassettes, and vinyls. While it's not the main way I listen to music, I do still use them. Elastic Dawg
I buy some vinyl here and there. Some of the cooler stuff i've got: Asbestosdeath - "Dejection/Unclean" (pre-Sleep sludge doom, incredible) Black Flag - "My War" Butthole Surfers - "Locust Abortion Technician" (first pressing, too) Chrome - "Half Machine Lip Moves" The Clash - "Combat Rock" Confuse - "Nuclear Addicts" Killdozer - "12 Point Buck" That's the stuff I like best, anyway. I'm currently trying to cop The Stooges - "Funhouse" and Com Truise - "In Decay". Should get some Flipper too...my wallet hates me...

Popeye Q. Krabs
I don't own any but I sometimes still like finding videos of vinyl records on YouTube to listen to. 78 and 45 RPM ones are my favorites. There's just something about the needle scratching the record that makes those recordings stand out to me and I am always intrigued by how well old technology can still work in the present day. I also like it when it's used as a sound effect in hip hop.

The Drifter
I never actually see any actual vinyl in my whole life, although my dad mentioned his dad (basically my grandpa) used to own lots of vinyls, and he would plays the using makeshift gramophone made from empty cracker box and sewing needle. 101 Dalmatian Street
(That moment when you're about to make a topic about vinyls before checking first to see that a thread for it does exist.) I've started forming a vinyl collection since only the past year. I don't actually have a very big collection, mine has been stagnant since newer vinyl records are expensive, and I'm more attached towards those. Anyways, this is all that I currently own on vinyl: Blackholes and Revelations - Muse (The very first one that I've owned.) Aladdin Sane - David Bowie Every Open Eye - CHVRCHES Homework - Daft Punk Rumours - Fleetwood Mac Beauty and the Beat - The Go-Go's Once again, it's a short start.
