    Well, reality hit me today that my work ethic is horrid. Now I'm terrified on how later high school and college is going to work out for me.

      This happened to me over December. My advice to you is to take advantage of the free periods you have during school, take advantage of class as you have it (while you're taking notes, make your flashcards then to study when you get home), and ask the teachers for help both in class and out of it. The internet is most active in the evenings anyways, so you can always have those after getting any work done.
