Rap Critic seems to be also talking about artists who have picked up The Weeknd's formula when it became more well-known, considering that he also name-checked Skylar Grey. ...But that's not to say that songs like "Green Light," "Team," and "Perfect Places" totally sound so much like "In the Night," "Wicked Games," and "Earned It." No matter whether The Weeknd or Lorde capitalized on the aesthetic first, that tweet of his only proves to me that 'rip-off' is still a horribly misused word.

If (speaking towards RC) you're going to try and make such a comparison while you're not going to provide whatever evidence you have to support it, then don't make the comparison.

Rap Critic is super mediocre. I did enjoy his Top 20 Worst Eminem Songs video (probably ironically) but besides that I don't care for his videos much.
