      Of all the artists on that list, do you think very many of them would still be making relevant music today, or even a decade past their death? Hell, Michael Jackson fizzled out mid-1990s. Most of those artists, as great as they are, are products of their time. Aaliyah's music you could see evolving. Had she lived through the 2000s, I could see her becoming a household name on the level of Beyoncé.
