      tbh, i at least can ironically enjoy suicide squad on some level. BvS, i adequately felt every minute of the movie just wasted my fucking time

      • i actually didn't even realize that was actually a jar of pee on my first watch, and if i did i would probably make jokes about it very loudly in the theater
      • by the time of the martha scene, i got so detached from what i was watching i just sat on my seat thinking "wow, there are writers who actually got paid for this".
      • haha, i admit that was pretty good
      • yeah, jesse was fuckin awful in this weirdly fascinating way... but he was also the only thing in the movie that kept me watching, otherwise i probably would've left sometime in the middle of it

      if you're wondering, my thoughts on the other DC movies go as follows:

      Man of Steel is absolutely pretentious wank. The only thing I remember from it atm was Pa Kent, who might literally be the most confusing character I've ever seen in a comic book movie.

      Wonder Woman... is not that good. Granted, I do think it is miles better than all the other movies I'm mentioning here, but I just find it boring and cliched.

      Justice Leauge feels... automated. It's not as bad as /ss/ or BvS, but there's nothing interesting to latch onto and everything seems like it was obligated rather than like anyone was really invested in it.
