  1. Honestly, I don't know which show I'm more ready for it to end already: The Simpsons or Family Guy.

    1. Wumbo

      Wumbo

I'm so numb to them both at this point. They can last until the moon explodes for all I care.

Honesstly I don't think Simpsons has that many meh or bad stuff , so I'd say FG cuz it's much worse now but wumbo is right. Axe them together.

Let me put it this way.  Both shows are long past their expiration dates.  Both shows are still capable of putting out a quality episode or two when they actually put forth the effort.  The Simpsons problem is that it feels like that they have to rely on ratings traps to pull in viewership.  When those ratings traps disappoint, and they often do heavily, it just reminds me of a functioning product that has lost A LOT of passion that was once applied.  Meanwhile, Family Guy relies far too much on trying to shock you and retread past episodes with far worse results.  And just like with The Simpsons, the passion just isn't there anymore.  Both can keep going forward until the end of time because what else does Fox have to replace them?  It's just that with every continuous episode after each one, the show keeps dying even more on the inside and both are already pretty dead at this point.
