4EverGreen
Useless Cooking Trivia Fact #1: French Fries were actually invented by mistake; back in the 1800's, restaurants used to serve fried potato chips. At one restaurant, a man reportedly sent back an order of these back twice, because the chips were too thick. The waiter, in a fit of wanting revenge, cut the chips into super-thin strips as an attempt to get back at the man, but the plan back-fired, as the man loved this new creation, and the french fries as we know them today were first created! And despite their name, French Fries aren't called just "Fries" in France, they are called "Frites".
