Mystic Guardians

Another great episode. I felt bad for Cameron in regards to Drew turning out to be evil, but it seems the situation actually strengthened his friendship with Jake at the end there. Speaking of Jake, I thought he did well in his leader role in this one. I liked the scene where he put Drew in his place in the middle of the night. Also, looks like Ramos is getting closer to finding the princess.

11. Whiteout

Ramos drinks tea and looks at Elana's birth record, seeing how her birthdate is "unknown".

"Well, how very interesting. Elana Townsen. An unknown birth date, eh? Now, why would that be?" Ramos pondered.

"Seems like you may have the one. I am confident it would be her, sir." Skipper replied.

"Indeed, but there are many questions. How did she get here? Why is it her? Either way, I have a way to prove it is her, let me contact those two fools..." Ramos said, laughing.

"Sir, while you do that, I have a plan to bait our guardians yet again..." Zurtrax spoke.

"I hope this goes better than your last plan," Ramos replied.

"It will. Just need to contact a certain mole." Zurtrax reassured.

At school, the girls and Jake are walking through the halls with tons of crowds, when they see Trent.

"Oh hey dude, sorry I haven't hang out with you in a while," Jake said, greeting him.

"It's all good man, what have you been up to?" Trent asked, as the girls didn't know how to reply.

"A lot of stuff," Jake replied.

"Ain't that the truth," Tori said.

"Anyways, want to hang out today?" Jake asked.

"Sure thing bro, we could play some baseball." Trent offered.

"Not a baseball guy, but sure, I'm bored," Jake replied.

"Alright, as long as I can find my old stuff. See ya later," Trent replied, waving goodbye to the gang, when Elana and Roxy walked up to the girls and Jake.

"Oh hey Elana," Madison greeted.

"Hey there. Can we finally hang out today, Cynthia?" Elana asked to her.

"Oh, I'm sorry, I'm not trying to blow you off, it's just like, I have a lot of stuff going on," Cynthia replied.

"You sure don't have a problem hanging out with them, like when you ran off at Madison's party and the fair with them. What's going on? I know you've been with them for a few years now, but I thought we were best friends?" Elana asked to Cynthia.

"Sorry, I'm finding it...hard to balance you with them lately. But like, you also never have told me if you want to hang out with them, and I feel you don't know them as well." Cynthia replied.

"I guess you have a point. I never really have interacted with you girls that much, sorry. Maybe we can hang out today?" Elana offered.

"Of course," Cynthia replied.

"We're sorry, we didn't mean to interfere with your friendship. Maybe we can get to know each other better. I did invite you and Roxy to my sleepover after all," Madison brought up.

"That is true," Roxy replied.

"Sorry for the overreaction, I just wanted to know what you guys have been up to," Elana replied, smiling and feeling embarrassed.

"It's okay, don't worry about it!" Audrey replied.

"Yeah, we've been curious on whatever crazy adventures y'all have been up to," Roxy replied, as the girls seemed awkward.

"Haha yeah...don't worry about it," Cynthia replied.

"It's all good, we can never stay mad at you guys," Roxy said.

"JUGENDLICHE, GET TO CLASS OR I'LL WRITE YOU SEVEN ALL UP! I'll do it, too, especially you, Mrs. Landers!" Professor Rotwell yelled to the girls and Jake, pulling out write-up slips, as all angrily walked off.

"That guy is a jerk, how is he as a teacher?" Elana asked to Madison.

"Crazy," Madison replied.

"What's a jugdenwhatever he said?" Tori asked.

"I think he insulted us in his foreign language...or he's just talking crazy," Audrey said.

"Maybe it's a bit of both," Roxy replied, as they all laughed.

"He was calling you all "teenagers" in another language, I am familiar with-" Johnny was babbling from his locker, but they just walked away, ignoring him.

Later, school ends, as the girls and Jake are seen at the Golden Seahorse.

"You have all had your fun, but now it is time we get serious. We need to start figuring out who the Karmanian heir is, before Ramos does," Mai said.

"Sounds great, but one major problem: How do we do that?" Tori asked.

"Ranen has heard from a source that supposedly someone knows the true identity of the princess. They want to meet you in private, and that mole creature knows where to find them," Mai explained.

"...Diggy? HIM?! Cynthia asked, surprised.

"You have to work with people you don't like sometimes, that's life, so get over it!" Mai snapped.

"I just hope his information is better than last time, because last time his sources sent us the wrong way," Tori said.

"Well, hopefully a portal opens soon, and you can call the other guys-" Jake was saying when Mai interrupted.

"Hold your horses, kid. The source says the person only wants to see the guardians, and if they come with anyone else, they will not deliver the information," Mai replied.

"I don't know about this, look how well things ended when we separated last time..." Audrey said.

"Yeah, those upgraded robots were ten times harder to defeat. What if this is another trap?" Madison wondered.

"Yeah, all of this sounds sketchy." Jake said.

"It could be, but I know you four girls are powerful. I believe you can overcome anything from what I've heard so far," Mai reassured.

Madison then felt the heart glow, as she pulled the map out of her backpack and put it on the table, seeing an x appear.

"Welp, there's our entrance," Madison said.

"We better get this done quick, as Elana wants to hang out, and I can't let her down again," Cynthia said.

"Good luck, stay safe. We'll be here if you need reinforcements," Jake reassured.

The girls then walked to the location, which was at the Posidonia Fields Junkyard.

"Eww, really?" Cynthia asked, holding her nose.

"Well, we have to meet Diggy, so this seems fitting," Tori said, as they noticed the portal behind a pile of junk.

"Let's get this over with..." Audrey sighed, as they headed in.

On the other end, they appeared on a cliff, which was from the area where the food deliveries were robbed.

"Well, it's a good thing we have wings...and tails!" Madison said, as the heart glowed and the four transformed.

"But where is the village?" Audrey asked, looking around.

"I knew it was a bad idea for only one group to go." Tori said.

"Wait, that looks like it!" Cynthia said, pointing north, as they headed to it.

At Van Gordon and Doyle's treasure store, Ramos arrives, admiring all the treasures they had on sale.

"Impressive. Now, here's something else for the store..." Ramos said, as he held out an emerald stone with a gold outline.

"A new treasure for the inventory? We're bloated as is, mate," Doyle said.

"This is not for sale. Just hang it up like this..." Ramos said, as Van Gordon hung it up, showing through the window.

"So...you gave us a pointless decoration?" Doyle asked.

"Not pointless. This is the Stone of Light, which will help me find out who the princess really is. Just wait..." Ramos said.

"So...you gave us a pointless decoration." Doyle deadpanned.

"IT'S NOT POINTLESS!" Ramos yelled.

"Well, it ain't making us any sweet moolah, so that qualifies as useless!" Doyle snapped back.

"Where do get strange artifact from anyway?" Van Gordon asked, suspicious.

"That's not important, but if anyone happens to take it, let them..." Ramos told them.

"What was point of store then?" Van Gordon asked.

"Just so you can have an easy way to meet the princess, my campaign manager told me it all falls in place," Ramos said.

"Campaign manager?" Doyle asked.

"Forget I said that, you must stay here, and everything will fall together..." Ramos said, as he slowly walked off, closing the door.

"So, we just wait here until girl takes stone?! Boring, this is the grunt work!" Van Gordon complained.

"I'll say, I wanted to sell my treasures, not set up a false store for his plans!" Doyle said, slamming a desk. The stone then glowed green...

Trent is seen heading into his house, to see his red-haired mom reading a newspaper at a table.

"Hey there mom-" Trent was saying.

"Call me Valentina, that's my name." Valentina replied, not looking at him.

"Okay, "Valentina". I'll be back, I just need to grab my baseball stuff, going to play with friends," Trent said, as he dropped his bag and headed upstairs.

"Sure, have fun with that," Valentina replied, still not looking at him at all.

Trent looked around in his room, but couldn't find anything.

"Where's my baseball stuff, mom?" Trent's voice echoed from upstairs.

"It's up there somewhere." Valentina's voice replied.

Trent then shrugged, as he looked in the storage room.

"Aha, there it is!" Trent said, as he saw his glove in a box.

He grabbed it, but inside the box, he saw a bracelet much like the knights have, with a white stone on it, which was glowing.

"What's this funky gadget? Maybe mom knows...probably not, but worth a shot..." Trent wondered, as he picked it up and brought it downstairs.

"Mo-I mean, Valentina, what's this?" Trent asked, holding out the bracelet, as she looked down from her newspaper and gasped.

"...Just a fancy bracelet, you can keep it." Valentina replied.

"Alright. Well...bye," Trent replied, as he awkwardly left.

The girls are seen landing outside Diggy's trailer.

"I'm surprised we were able to remember this spot without help, I guess we're learning," Audrey said.

Madison knocked on the door, as Diggy opened it up to see them. He then closed the door.

"What gives?!" Madison asked.

"Nobody can enter my home unless you say the password!" Diggy replied.

Tori then used water waves to slice open the door, as they confronted him in his filthy trailer. Diggy was squirming.

"What did I do now?" Diggy asked.

"Okay, so what's up with the princess stuff?" Tori asked.

"Princess? Huh? Me? I don't consider myself a prin-" Diggy was saying, when Cynthia picked him up.

"Don't play dumb. Tell us the information about the princess, or Tori will use her wishy washy powers to clean you," Cynthia threatened, as Tori smiled.

"Fine, just let me down!" Diggy begged, as Cynthia dropped him.

"Tell us what you know, and we'll go away. We were told you know where to find the guy who knows the identity of the princess," Madison said.

"Fine, fine. The truth is, I don't know who the guy is. I never saw a face, but he told me to tell you to meet him in the forests west of this village, right where ye old gold stump is," Diggy said.

"A gold stump...okay then. Thanks," Madison said, as the four walked out of the trailer, and flew off.

"Annoying brats, someone needs to teach them some manners! Back in my day, we had respect! People always guessed passwords before entering another's home, and they didn't threaten to kill me! Maybe I'm just sick of being everyone's middle man! When do I get some respect? But don't worry, it'll all change one day. I'm going to be famous one day. I'll win the lottery, open my own restaurant, which will probably come crashing down in a lightning strike. But hey, I have a nice life planned out!" Diggy rambled to himself, sitting back in a pile of old bed sheets.

Broodwing then entered the trailer, startling Diggy.

"How did it go?" Broodwing asked.

"Oh, hi. Well they bought it, of course." Diggy replied.

"Excellent, looks like you really are useful for something after all!" Broodwing replied, as he walked out.

The girls are seen scouting the forests, when Tori sees a gold stump at a clearing.

"There it is!" Tori said, as the four flew down, looking around.

"I've never seen a stump that isn't brown before..." Audrey said, seeing the gold stump.

Out of the shadows, a strange figure in a trench coat appeared, with their face not showing.

"Were you followed?" the figure asked.

"No." Madison replied.

"Good." the figure replied, as they just stood there.

"So...you gonna say anything? I don't have all day," Cynthia asked.

The figure then revealed their left arm was a laser gun, as they fired at once, taking off the disguise to reveal a blue Slayer robot.

"Oh no..." Audrey said, when a bunch of other Slayers appeared out of hiding, along with Zurtrax.

"Dangit, we've been tricked again!" Tori yelled, as the robots fired at once.

"Indeed, and now your friends aren't here to watch me obliterate you." Zurtrax said, as he swung his sword out, sending a dark electric pulse at all four, sending them flying back.

"I'm getting sick of this guy!" Cynthia yelled, as she made the ground rise up, trapping some of the Slayers under the rock, but they broke through.

Tori then threw water blasts at them, and Audrey blew them back.

"You know, maybe it's time we tried a combo..." Tori said to Audrey, as she nodded.

Tori formed a ball of water, as Audrey blew into it, making it icy, and both sent it hurling at all of the Slayers, freezing them.

"NO!" Zurtrax yelled, as he ripped a blaster off of a frozen Slayer and fired at the girls, who were flying upward.

"Sorry, but I'm not being captured again! We have some friends to meet!" Madison said, as the four flew off.

Zurtrax then activated his jet-pack and gave chase.

"This guy does not know when to quit!" Tori said, throwing water blasts at him, but Zurtrax was too fast.

The four then made it to the portal, as they quickly flew in. They appeared back in the junkyard, as Madison held out the heart.

"Alright, goodbye robot freak! Uh..." Madison was saying, as the heart was not closing the portal.

"What's going on? Hello? Is this portal going to close?" Cynthia asked.

"The heart...isn't working." Madison said, gulping, when Zurtrax walked in through the portal.

"Looks like your key is not sealing the lock this time." Zurtrax threatened, pulling out his sword.

"We can't fight in public!" Tori said, but Zurtrax ignored her and launched electric blasts everywhere, as the four dodged.

"Sorry Mr. Robot, but you're going to have to wait!" Audrey said, as she blew a giant of gust of wind at a junk pile, and it sent tons of debris flying at Zurtrax.

Zurtrax sliced through some of it, but Tori then made a flood appear on the ground, knocking him off his feet, as debris hit him, sending him smashing into another pile of garbage, burying him.

The four girls made a quick escape, and Madison tried to transform them back to normal, but it wasn't working.

"The heart is totally busted. We're stuck." Madison said.

"Great, how do we get back to your grandmother's place without being seen by anyone?" Cynthia asked to Audrey.

"Umm...I do know one shortcut, but I don't think you guys will like it..." Audrey said, as they walked out of the junkyard's rear exit, and headed east into a nearby field.

"Oh no...this is crazy old Farmer Bob's property, isn't it?" Tori asked.

"Yeah, but this is the only quick way we can get back without being seen at all," Audrey said.

"Well, so much for hanging out with Elana..." Cynthia sighed, as they flew over the small farmland, seeing manatees eating the grass in the area.

We then see a house near the farms, and on the porch, Farmer Bob is sitting on a swinging chair.

"ROBERT!!! WHERE'S MAH SOUP??!!" a booming voice asked from inside the house.

"I'M GETTING IT, MAW!" Bob yelled back angrily.

"YOU'RE TOO SLOW! WHY CAN'T YOU MOVE ANY FASTER?" his mother's voice yelled back.

"I'M BUSY! Dangit, she's gonna give me heart failures one of these there days!" Bob muttered, as his mom was seen walking out on the porch, whacking the swinging chair with her cane.

"WHAT DID YOU SAY?!" his mother yelled back.

"I'm working on it, crazy woman!" Bob snapped back, as she went inside.

Bob then walked around into the field, as he looked through his binoculars to see the girls flying.

"WHAT IN TARNATION? I got me some super sized mermaids?! AND they be trespassing on MAH property?! I'm gonna take those tails off for her soup! I can legally shoot 'em down! Come here Ol' Reliable!" Bob rambled, grabbing a shotgun, called "Ol' Reliable", as he ran into the fields, and looked at them through his binoculars again.

"HEY, WHERE ARE YOU GOING?! GET BACK!" Bob's mom yelled, looking at him through the window.

"YA HEAR THAT MERMAIDS?! I'M COMING FOR YER TAILS!" Bob yelled at them, waving his gun.

"SHOOT, I think he sees us!" Madison said, hearing angry rambling, as the four turned around to see an angry fish with a gun in the distance.

"Yeah, let's make a quick escape before he fires," Tori said, as the four flew closer to the ground away from Bob, and made their way back into the city, right near the Golden Seahorse.

The four then arrived in an alley, but they heard voices, as they quickly hid. Two blonde haired fish were walking by.

"Ugh, the Borok twins, I hate them so much!" Cynthia groaned, hiding behind a fence gate.

"So anyways, did you see Cynthia Harnet's dress today?" one of them asked.

"I did, and it was so ugly! Her sense of fashion sucks!" the other replied, when a piece of old paper is thrown at her head. The two turned around.

"Who's there?!" one asked, as they got no response. The two kept walking.

"Was that really necessary?" Madison asked.

"Yes, yes it was," Cynthia replied, Audrey slowly opened the restaurant's backdoor to see Mai and a chef in the kitchen.

"Now, here's the latest orders, get them..." Mai was saying, when she quickly noticed Audrey.

"Get them what?" the chef asked.

"Just read this!" Mai replied, sticking the orders on his chef hat, as she walked outside to see the girls.

The chef tried reaching the orders on the top of his chef hat, but his arms were too short.

"Aww." the chef said, very sad.

Mai then saw the girls outside, still in their guardian forms.

"This doesn't look good." Mai said.

"The heart stopped working, and we are stuck in our guardian forms. Any ideas?" Madison asked.

"I know the problem, but this is not a safe area. Go to the dojo, I'll guide you," Mai said.

"What about him?" Tori asked, seeing the chef in the kitchen still trying to reach the orders on his hat.

"Well, I didn't want to do this, but I guess I have to do this the easy way..." the chef said, taking off his hat, and tipping it upside-down, causing the orders to go floating.

"He'll be fine." Mai replied happily, closing the door behind.

The chef tried to grab them, but the wind breeze from the door's closing caused the orders to go floating into a fryer, turning them into ashes.

"Aww." the chef said, sad again.

The girls and Mai are seen at the dojo, with blankets around the girls to hide their guardian forms.

"What happened to you guys?" Cameron asked.

"The heart dun goofed," Tori said, as she took off her blanket to show she was still in her mermaid form.

"Wow, that sucks. I wish there was like a way Zero or I could reprogram the heart or something to fix the bug, but the thing is ancient, so yeah, that's...not very likely. How did this happen?" Nick asked.

"We don't know. It turns out the "inside source" was another trap, and we got ambushed by robots. We escaped, but we couldn't close the portal, and had to sneak our way through because we can't transform back." Madison explained.

"I should have known the information was sketchy. I am sorry for putting you in danger." Ranen said.

"Maybe I should give you girls communicators so we can know when you are trouble," Zero offered.

"The trap was just to separate us again, so I don't think we need that right now," Tori replied.

"What happened with Trent?" Madison asked to Jake.

"Nothing. He didn't come over, oh well, probably for the best," Jake said.

"I just want to know what caused this, I can't go to Elana's looking like this!" Cynthia said.

"This is caused by an artifact known as "The Stone of Light". One day, when Karmania was a happy place, a young girl in Karmania wandered off, getting lost from her parents. Her parents begged a magic mage to create a stone to find her. The mage agreed, as she used the Heart of Karmania and a strong piece of emerald to form this stone, which would locate the girl and bring her safely back when she is needed most. It did so, as the girl magically walked back, and the stone prevented her from getting into any harm," Mai explained, as it showed a young Karmanian girl being attacked by a winged creature, but a green bubble appeared around her, keeping her safe. "That girl would later become the next Queen of Central Karmania. It appears someone, most likely Ramos, has found the stone and is using it to find the princess. It will interfere with your powers and make them weaker."

"That's just great, when does it wear off?" Tori asked.

"When the princess finds it." Mai replied.

Elana is seen walking down a sidewalk. Suddenly, she sees a glowing green light in Van Gordon and Doyle's store. It makes her act odd, as she walks inside and just randomly takes the Stone of Light. She walks back out, as Van Gordon sees this.

"I think we founds her..." Van Gordon said.

"Excellent, whatever gives us something to tell that stuck-up king," Doyle replied.

Elana keeps walking down the sidewalk, as the stone is around her neck, and she feels dizzy.

"Ugh...what's happening to me..." Elana said, having a headache.

Back at the dojo, Zero gets a strange alert on his scanner.

"This is odd...the scanner is detecting a powerful stone, like the knights' stone, which just entered the portal the girls found..." Zero said, looking at it.

"Another knight stone? Maybe it's the Stone of Light?" Cameron suggested.

"I don't know...it's possible." Zero replied curiously.

"Can the knights even transform into their outfits?" Audrey asked, as Nick did so.

"Well, that worked," Nick said.

"Yes, but they will be stuck in it like you are." Mai explained.

"Works for me," Cameron replied, as he, Jake and Zero also powered up.

"Good luck, and don't get caught." Ranen said.

The guardians and knights were seen at the junkyard, as they saw the portal still intact.

"No sign of big black robot dude, is he still around?" Nick asked.

"I assume if he is, he either went back to Ramos or back in the portal," Madison said, as they all went in the portal.

"The signal is now coming...that way!" Zero said, as he pointed to another village in the distance, which had lots of large buildings and markets.

"That's a new village," Tori said.

"Better than going to the grimy slum place again. Elana will have every right to be mad at me," Cynthia said, sighing.

"This is the Central Karmania Bazaar. Try not to anger anybody here..." Cameron warned, as they saw villagers walking around, who were poor, but not as poor as the ones in the slums.

They looked around for the strange signal, as the villagers began whispering.

"Are those the guardians?"

"And the knights..."

They kept looking around, as Zero's signal lead them to a dead end in an alley.

"Nothing. You sure about this, doc?" Cameron asked.

"I suppose it is feasible my scanners are just acting up due to the stone..." Zero said, very confused.

"I don't see anything suspicious..." Audrey said, looking around.

"Look harder." a chilling voice said, as out of the shadows, appeared a figure in a white knight suit, with black outlines, and had a red visor on their helmet. They had a bracelet with a white gemstone on it.

"Whoa..." Jake said.

"...A knight?" Cameron asked, very confused.

"Who is it?" Madison asked.

"You guys ever seen this guy before?" Cynthia asked to the knights.

"No..." Jake replied.

"There's only four knights to my knowledge...unless one of us in two places at once?" Nick wondered. "Well, I don't think I am..."

The girls and guys slowly moved forward at the white knight.

"Don't come any closer. You will force me to do something I don't want to do." The White Knight replied.

"What do you mean by that?" Madison asked.

"Let me show you." The White Knight said, pulling out a white dagger sword with black marks over it.

They slashed it into the air multiple times, making white energy arrows appear.

"Laser arrows." The White Knight said, as they all turned.

"This doesn't look good." Tori said.

"Fire." The White Knight said, as the heroes tried to run.

The girls tried to attack back, but the Stone of Light's effects weakened their powers. All the arrows struck all eight multiple times, sending them collapsing to the ground.

"Was that necessary?! Who are you?!" Jake asked, getting up.

"That was a warning." The White Knight said, as they disappeared into the crowd of villagers, confusing all eight.

"...What just happened?" Audrey asked.

At Ramos's castle, a soldier is seen reporting to him on his throne.

"Sir! I have serious news! A new knight or something has emerged, and they are attacking all of our soldiers throughout Central Karmania!" the soldier reported.

"WHAT?! Another one?! But who could this be..." Ramos wondered.

Van Gordon and Doyle then walked into the throne room, not in their store disguises anymore.

"Sir, girl take stone," Van Gordon reported, as Ramos gasped and was very happy.

"YES! EXCELLENT! WOO HOO!" Ramos yelled, jumping off his throne and dancing.

"Sir, are you okay? You're acting like you do after your tenth cup of tea," Skipper pointed out

"I'm fine, better than fine! We have the princess! She will return the stone soon, and then I can prepare the next phase of my plan..." Ramos said.

"Um...sir, what about our problem?" the soldier asked.

"Oh right, uh, Zurtrax and you two goons can go deal with it, I guess," Ramos ordered.

"Yes sir," Zurtrax said, bowing.

"Whatever gets us out of that boring store!" Doyle replied, smashing his fists together.

"But...you guys don't know who this is. They are very powerful...and I heard they just did took down the knights and guardians from another soldier, who saw the event happen in the Bazaar." the soldier said.

"...Interesting. A knight who attacked the others? Well, you know what they say, the enemy of my enemy is my friend. You three, try to recruit this stranger to my side," Ramos ordered.

The White Knight is seen walking through the Karmanian forests near the Ancient Seal, as they had cornered some heavily beaten up soldiers.

"PLEASE...NO MORE! WE SURRENDER!" one of them yelled, as the White Knight just did more laser blasts, sending them all flying through the forests.

Van Gordon, Doyle and Zurtrax appeared out of the Ancient Seal portal, seeing the White Knight, who kicked aside an unconscious soldier.

"Ay, a white one?" Doyle noted.

"What do you want?" The White Knight asked.

"We have the invitation for you from Great King Ramos!" Van Gordon was saying.

"Actually, it's more of a demand. Join him or be destroyed." Zurtrax said.

"No thanks." The White Knight replied.

"Then destroyed it is." Zurtrax replied, as all three attacked him at once.

The White Knight clashed his dagger sword with them and was beating them ruthlessly.

"Dang, this bugger is a tough one, they weren't lying!" Doyle said, as the knight punched him in the stomach many times and sent him flying into Van Gordon.

Both attacked the White Knight at once, but he clashed one sword on Doyle's gun, and grabbed Van Gordon, kicking both away, as Zurtrax tried to attack, but the knight slashed his sword at him. The knight sent lasers at Zurtrax, damaging him, as he tried breathing.

"You should just really join us, imagine your combined power with Ramos-" Zurtrax was offering.

"I already told you, I'm not interested." The Knight replied.

The guardians and knights then appeared, seeing the fight.

"Great, that's just all we need!" Doyle said angrily.

"WHOA! Whose side do we take?" Jake asked.

"Here, we'll make it easy for you. Maybe he can destroy you for us." Zurtrax said, as he, Van Gordon and Doyle fled back into the portal.

"If you had any sense, you'd run too." The White Knight threatened.

"Bring it on, we're not scared!" Madison said.

"Why are you doing this? Knights should be friends!" Nick said.

As everyone was ready to attack, the knight felt their stone acting odd, and glowing.

"Another time." The Knight said, as they fled into the portal.

"That's it?" Cameron asked, confused.

"That was anti-climatic," Tori said.

The eight went through the Ancient Seal, to see tons of unconscious soldiers, but no knight. Suddenly, Madison felt the heart glow, as did the knights' stones.

"I think our powers are back. Let's go close that portal first," Madison said, as they headed to the junkyard.

"I just wonder...where did this knight come from?" Audrey pondered.

"Well, we may never know who that was, but they're gone now. Let's get back." Jake said, as Madison was able to close the portal. All eight powered down back into their normal forms.

"Feels so good to be back, having a mermaid tail for so long gets weird," Cynthia said.

The eight were seen at the dojo, as they explained everything to Mai and Ranen.

"This is concerning...a new knight? I only assigned four." Ranen said.

"We have quite a lot of questions. Who took the Stone of Light? Who is this white knight?" Zero asked.

"Hey, cool rhyme." Nick complimented.

"I know nothing on this either, I'm afraid. It's hard to say what the connection is between the Stone of Light and this rogue one." Mai said.

"Whoever that jerk was, we'll be ready next time. I hope..." Madison said, as Ranen began pondering.

"At least it's still day time, we have time to hang out with Elana, if she is not angry," Cynthia said.

Trent is seen entering back in his house, feeling odd.

"Ugh..." Trent groaned.

"What's wrong?" Valentina asked, hearing from the living room.

"Nothing..." Trent said, as he took off the bracelet and just put it on the counter, still feeling odd.

Elana is seen walking back to Van Gordon and Doyle's store, and walks in.

"Hey...I'm sorry, I accidentally took this stone from you. I don't know why, it just...happened." Elana said, giving it back to them.

"No problem, lassie. Have a nice day," Doyle smiled evilly, as she walked out. Doyle then contacted Ramos, saying "She's the one, mate."

"Excellent," Ramos replied on the other end.

At Madison and Jake's house, Henry is watching tv.

"I TELL YA, I SWEAR I SEE MERMAIDS OVER YONDER FARMS!" Farmer Bob yelled to a news reporter.

"Haha, crazy farmer," Henry said.

"Hey mom, I'm going to Cynthia's, I'll be back before 8," Madison promised.

"Alright, you better be. You and Jake have been out and about a lot, but you can't miss curfew." Susan replied, as Jake went upstairs.

Cynthia and the girls are seen with Roxy and Elana, hanging in Cynthia's house.

"Sorry for taking so long, I had so much homework," Cynthia said, talking to Elana.

"It's alright, I wasn't feeling that good. I don't know why..." Elana said.

"What was wrong?" Cynthia asked.

"Just had a very odd headache," Elana replied.

"Headaches are the worst, right?" Cynthia asked.

"Yeah, they sure are," Elana replied, laughing, but felt uneasy about the stone she found.

This episode was definitely a lot, but so awesome at the same time :D. The reveal of the princess, and the appearance of a white knight. Based off the whole thing with Trent and the bracelet, I'm guessing he's the knight, but somehow doesn't know? Anyway, now that Ramos is going to know about Elana, it looks like things are about to take a turn.

Very pleased to see the reveal of who the princess is and another knight. And despite what SOF says...

I still stick to my opinion that the heroes are eventually going to catch on to the reason behind the misinformation that keeps leading them into traps. :P

12. Princess

Zero is seen in his apartment late at night with Nick, working on a device and wearing protective goggles.

"Professor, you have any ideas who that white guy was we saw today?" Nick asked, referring to the events of the previous episode.

"I'm afraid, I don't know. Ranen only had four knight stones. Maybe it was a shapeshifting Karmanian beast taking the form of an old knight, but I don't know why it would attack Ramos's own men. It could also have been an optical illusion beast, there's too many possibilities, and all are not improbable," Zero said, wondering.

"Yeah, I guess some mysteries are just better left unsolved, like the mystery of where my sandwich for lunch went earlier today..." Nick said, wondering.

"Nick, hand me the eleven wrench," Zero requested, as he held his other fin out and finished the wiring.

"Here you go!"  Nick said, handing him a ten wrench.

"Nick, this is a ten," Zero replied.

"Isn't it close enough?" Nick replied.

"In engineering, you must be precise, fixing these bolts requires an eleven from my calculations," Zero said, as through his protective goggles he is seen scanning the device like a computer.

"That's really cool how you can calculate what tool to use, it's like you are a super tool that chooses the lower tools on who does the work-" Nick was babbling.

"Nick, the wrench," Zero reminded.

"Oh, right!" Nick said, as he handed him the eleven.

"Thank you, just need to do some adjustments...and it's ready!" Zero said, as he finished adjusting the bolts.

"So, what does this thing do again?" Nick asked.

"It's a spy drone. I'm going to use this to spy on Ramos's castle to see if we get any information. For helping me, you can pilot it," Zero said, handing him a control pad.

"This is awesome, thanks doc! I have super sleuthing skills, if you didn't tell from how I solved the bank robber case," Nick reassured.

"Of course, you were the best fit to solve it Detective Nick. Not even I suspected the girl," Zero complimented.

"Thank you, that means so much coming from you! Now, how do I start it?" Nick asked, looking at the pad controls.

"Hit the center button, and use your fin to move it around," Zero said, as Nick did so, turning it on. The date read "9/17 9:04 PM" on the scanners, as the pad showed an image of the spy drone's point of view.

"Whoa cool, I can see the entire room!" Nick noted, as he controlled it.

The spy drone then floated up, which was a small circular gray device, with a blue dot in the center on its front side. It began flying around, but crashed into the door a few times.

"Nick, careful!" Zero said, as Nick fixed its movement.

"Sorry, I just got excited. So this little guy can really fly all the way to Ramos's castle?" Nick asked.

"It has enough mileage to fly there, I am positive," Zero said.

Nick then kept flying it, as it went out a window Zero opened, and flew through Posidonia Fields, hovering over unsuspecting citizens in the streets. It made its way to Ramos's castle, which was in their sights. Soldiers were walking around the area, as two royally dressed soldiers were standing in front of the castle entrance, holding spears. Nick moved the drone closer to them to overhear their conversation.

"How's the weather?" one asked.

"There's a nice breeze," the other replied.

"Hmm...interesting, seems like a secret Federation code speak between the two." Nick said, taking notes, as he moved the drone away from them.

"I don't think it's a code," Zero commented.

"You never know. Nobody talks about weather like that..." Nick wondered suspiciously.

"Alright, we have to find a secret entrance in, or the guards will take this drone down. We cannot let them reverse-engineer it," Zero said, looking at Nick's pad, as Nick was looking around.

He noticed a window was open in one of the rooms, as he looked in to see a weight room for the soldiers. The only guards in it were the two incompetent guards from "Resistant", who were on treadmills.

"TOO FAST!!" the guard yelled, as they were falling on the treadmill.

"I'll save you!" the other guard said, as he hopped off of his and onto the treadmill, but it sent him flying to the ground.

"You can go through here," Zero deadpanned, as Nick carefully flew the drone in past the two guards.

Nick then saw the door was open, flying it through the hallways.

"Now, where do you think Ramos is?" Nick asked, making the spy drone carefully look around corners, avoiding guards.

It then floated into Ramos's throne room, as Ramos is seen talking to the treasure hunters and Zurtrax. Skipper handed him some tea, as Nick hid the drone behind a statue.

"I have you here today for a big discussion, as we have our big lead. After so many years...the princess revealed. Miss Townsen is her, since she took the stone. However, now comes the tricky part: She does not know who she really is, and we need to get her on our side." Ramos explained.

"Townsen?" Zero wondered.

"Anyways, you all must follow my plans correctly from here on out. We cannot afford anymore screw-ups. Van Gordon and Doyle, I want you to find out more information on this Elana girl, spy on her after school tomorrow," Ramos ordered.

"Yes sir Ramos!" Van Gordon saluted.

"That's KING Ramos!" Ramos corrected.

"Elana...isn't that Cynthia's girlfriend? Whoa...that totally came out wrong, I meant girlfriend as in friend, well actually I was wrong to begin with, since isn't she all of their friends?" Nick was pondering.

"Nick, never mind that, this is drastic. One of the guardians' friends is the Central Karmania princess." Zero said sternly.

"But how is this even possible? Wouldn't one of them have known about this?" Nick wondered.

"Or she herself doesn't even know." Zero theorized.

Zurtrax looks around the room, seeing the spy drone behind the statue.

"That's not good!" Nick said, trying make it move, but Zurtrax quickly throws his sword at the drone, smashing it into the statue.

"Oh no!" Zero said. The control pad now had "SYSTEM ERROR" on it, disconnecting them.

"Hey, that statue is for admiring, not for sword throwing!" Ramos complained, as Zurtrax went to retrieve his sword and the broken drone fell to the ground.

"Sir, it appears we had a spy. This technology looks like Professor Zero's," Zurtrax said, showing it to Ramos.

"Indeed it does. Let him tell the guardians, knights and rebels what he saw, I don't care. It won't change the outcome..." Ramos said smugly.

The next day, the girls and Jake are seen at the high school, to see Elana talking to a boy in the hallway.

"Who is that?" Jake asked.

"That's Bryan Night, but I don't know what he is doing with her," Cynthia wondered.

"See you tonight then," Bryan said to Elana, as Elana blushed.

"See you tonight too," Elana replied, as Bryan walked off.

"Did Elana get herself a boyfriend?" Tori asked, teasing her a bit.

"He asked me to go with him to the Posidonia Fields Carnival tonight as his date!" Elana explained happily.

"That's sweet, since it's Friday night, I have free time to go if you want," Cynthia offered.

"Sure, that'd be great," Elana replied.

Bryan is seen meeting his two friends by the lockers, who are congratulating him.

"Nice job dude, looks like you scored yourself a hottie for the fair! Did Gnarly's advice help?" one of them asked.

"Yeah, your advice helped, thanks Gnarly Dewd!" Bryan said to Gnarly Dewd, a cool looking fish wearing red sunglasses and tropical clothes.

"Gnarly's advice never fails. But now you have only conquered the easy step, next you must get to step two tonight, which is getting the taste of those lips. She'll be putty in your fins," Gnarly Dewd said.

"I'll get the kiss, of course! No, forget step two! I'll do both step two and step three, with a make out! I AM A MAN!" Bryan yelled, determined, as Gnarly Dewd and the other kid gasped.

"Skipping a step? Gnarly approves," Gnarly said, giving a thumbs up.

"Dude, then after that, you'll soon be at step ten, before any of us! You'd be the master!" the other said.

"Yes, but one step at a time. I'm just so excited, nothing will get in my way tonight!" Bryan said.

Meanwhile, Madison is seen in Rotwell's class.

"Attention students, to anybody attending the carnival tonight, I will have my own attraction there! I'll be selling das "magical" souvenirs in my own stand! Any student of mine who buys them will get EXTRA CREDIT!" Rotwell announced. "Any early takers?"

The only student in the class who raised their fin was Johnny.

"I'll buy something, professor!" Johnny said.

"Excellent, that's a start! I hope to see some of you there, and you better buy something!" Rotwell said threateningly.

"I could buy you some medication." Madison joked to herself.

Later that day, after school ended, Elana is seen walking her way home with the girls, Roxy and Jake, as Van Gordon and Doyle are seen spying on them from their van in the school parking lot.

"Ooh, so girl is friend of fairies," Van Gordon said, looking through binoculars.

"They're mermaids...oh, just forget it." Doyle replied.

"Hey, I've never seen you two teachers here before. Wait a minute, I recognize you two...you were the two fiends that damaged my boat-mobile!" Principal Thomson said, confronting them, as Doyle stepped on it and the van drove off. It accidentally smashed into Thomson's boat-mobile again.

"Sorry mate, I'll pay you back for damages if you buy something from my store!" Doyle advertised, showing his business card, driving off.

"You mean our store!" Van Gordon corrected.

"NOOOO, WHY CRUEL WORLD?! WHY?!" Thomson yelled, falling to the ground crying, as he looked at a small dent in the back of his boat-mobile.

Van Gordon and Doyle drove their van through the streets, as they listened in to the gang walking on the sidewalk.

"Are you sure you can trust this Bryan kid? I just don't want you to be hurt," Roxy wondered.

"I don't really know him that well, but he seems nice, and I have been looking to date for a while," Elana said.

"Well, I'll see you at the carnival tonight, I promise," Cynthia said, as she was about to walk off with Jake and the other three girls when Elana stopped them.

"Not so fast, I want to know where you keep sneaking off to lately," Elana asked jokingly.

"Oh, we just hang out at that restaurant, it's a nice spot," Madison said, pointing to the Golden Seahorse.

"Don't Audrey's parents run that place?" Roxy asked.

"Yeah, they do. You're...always welcome to come!" Audrey said hesitantly, but smiled.

"The school lunch today sucked, can Elana and I get some food to go?" Roxy asked.

"Of course, just come this way," Audrey guided, when Jake approached her.

"Be careful, we can't let them find out about...you know..." Jake whispered.

"Carnival? Looks like we know a place to possibly target the girlie," Doyle noted.

"I love the carnivals, lots of fun games, prize, and all the happy children!" Van Gordon said, reminiscing, as Doyle drove off.

The girls and Jake walked in to see the place was booming in customers, as Audrey's parents were busy taking orders.

"You guys will have to wait a bit, sorry!" Audrey said to the two.

"You four, come with me. Now." Mai said rather sternly.

"What's going on?" Elana asked.

"Just need their help moving some supplies," Mai lied, as the four went with her into the kitchen, to see the chef was busy making tons of meals, wiping sweat off of his forehead.

Mai took the four out into the basement of the restaurant, which had tons of boxes, and they saw Cameron, Zero, Nick, and Ranen.

"This is an awkward meeting place," Tori said.

"Yeah, but it's all we have. It's too busy upstairs, and we didn't have the time for you all to walk to the dojo, so we came here. Zero and Nick have an important discovery," Cameron said.

"After a night of spying and sleuthing in Ramos's castle, we know who the princess is." Nick said, as Jake and the girls were shocked.

"Who is it?" Audrey asked.

"Well...I don't know if you'll like the answer, but it is a girl named Elana Townsen. I believe you are all familiar with her, correct?" Zero asked, as Jake and the girls were in disbelief.

"The Elana we all know?" Audrey said.

"How?" Tori asked.

"Okay, real funny guys. I've known Elana since elementary, it can't be her," Cynthia said in disbelief.

"We're not joking, we're being serious. We saw Ramos talk about it in a meeting. The footage is gone, but we saw it with our own eyes. I'm afraid, you don't know your friend at all," Zero said.

"But she doesn't look Karmanian." Madison said.

"Do I? Not all Karmanians are obvious," Ranen said.

"Fine, but still, it doesn't make sense. How would she not know she is from Karmania?" Madison asked.

"The princess was snuck into Posidonia Fields as a baby, she wouldn't remember anything at such a young age," Mai commented.

"My best friend for the past sixteen years is secretly a princess to a magical kingdom. How are we going to tell her?" Cynthia wondered, not sure how to process it still.

"Whoa there, we shouldn't tell her just yet. It'd be too much for her to take in." Madison replied.

"I agree with my sister. We should instead focus on protecting her from Ramos's goons, since he is probably planning to capture her," Jake said.

"When we spied on Ramos, he mentioned sending those two goofy hunters to spy on her." Nick pointed out.

"Then we'll keep her on close watch, and make sure nobody tries to do anything to her," Madison said.

"I still can't believe this. It just doesn't make sense..." Cynthia said, sighing.

"We better get upstairs, they probably can't wait for too long," Audrey pointed out.

"I guess they're not coming back. Whatever, at least we'll see them at the carnival," Elana said, as she and Roxy walked out with their food. The four girls went into the dining room to see they left.

At the carnival, it is around sunset, as we see some fish there early to check out the shows. We see outside a small tent called "Donny and Blyde's Magically Magic Show of Magic" a fish dressed in a black suit and top hat, holding a fake wand. Next to him was his assistant, a big dark green starfish.

"Another year, another show..." the magician grumbled, when a small group of fish, including Van Gordon and Doyle in disguise, came to see.

"Step up folks, to see the great magician Donny's magic tricks! Watch as I pull a clam out of my hat!" Donny said, as he took off his top hat and tried pulling something out of it. "It's in there somewhere, hold on folks!"

"We don't have all day!" a fish complained, looking at his watch.

"Blyde, I thought you put the toy clam in here?!" Donny whispered to the assistant.

"Uh, I think I did!" Blyde replied.

"Wait, what's this? I PULLED A STARFISH OUT! TADA!" Donny improvised, showing Blyde to the crowd.

"Hi!" Blyde waved.

"BOO, YOU STINK!" a fish yelled.

"Wait, I have card tricks! You can all play 52 pick up!" Donny said, as he pulled out a pack of cards and threw them everywhere. The crowd of fish walked away, except for Van Gordon and Doyle.

"Oh, it's hopeless! I don't know why we bother coming here, Blyde. We started off as common crooks, now we're stuck with this failure circus show. We're as lame as that creepy guy over there!" Donny said, pointing to Rotwell at his stand, selling "magic items", which were all common items.

"Anybody want these magic items? Anybody? You there, madame!" Rotwell asked to a lady who just kept walking.

"Aww, how tragic. But maybe we could help..." Doyle offered, seeing him weeping on the ground.

"R-really?!" Donny asked, getting back up and feeling happy.

"Yes, you just need to do a favor for us. We can help ya become a powerful magician..." Doyle said, thinking of a plan.

"I accept! Whatever task you have, we'll do it!" Donny said.

"Yeah, okay boss!" Blyde replied, agreeing with Donny.

"Just stay right here. We'll be back..." Doyle said.

"Do you even have plan?!" Van Gordon asked, as they went to the van.

"Yes, what those two losers need is some real magic. That creepy butler at the castle is just the one who can help." Doyle explained.

Skipper is seen in his room, which had tons of creepy magic items everywhere, and he was sitting on a carpet, meditating and humming. Doyle and Van Gordon then entered the room.

"Butler, we have the request," Van Gordon said.

"What do you two want? I was in a deep trance!" Skipper complained.

"Give us one of your bloomin' creepy magic items. We want to give it to a poor sap, it's for our plan to get the girlie," Doyle requested.

Skipper then began laughing.

"That's a good one, you two are priceless!" Skipper laughed more, mocking them.

"What so funny? Did I miss joke?" Van Gordon asked.

"I don't give anyone my dark magic away, you two dummies! Do you have any idea how powerful this stuff is? If in the wrong hands, it will be deadly!" Skipper said.

"Exactly, and we can use it against the brats! Got any item that can turn a sad magician into a powerful one?" Doyle asked.

"NO! These powers are going to be abused. Dark magic is a taboo subject, and anything related to it will be used for bad. I'm one of the only sane people who can handle dark magic!" Skipper explained.

"Welp, it'd be unfortunate if we told the king that we can't do our plan because of you..." Doyle blackmailed, ready to walk out.

"Ugh, fine! You can have this, but whatever happens after, I'm not responsible!" Skipper said angrily, as he looked through his stuff. He gave them a black and purple wand.

"Excellent," Doyle said, as the two are seen back outside Donny and Blyde's tent.

"What did you get?" Donny asked.

"Try this out," Doyle said, as he handed him the dark wand, which was glowing. Donny held it in his fin, turning his eyes grim.

"I feel...so strong! Hehehe...let's try this out..." Donny said, as he made the wand levitate all the cards he dropped and neatly stack them back.

"Boss, you have real magic!" Blyde said, shocked.

"I don't know where you two could've possibly gotten this from, but I thank you!" Donny replied.

"So, will you complete our request now?" Doyle asked.

"You know what, I don't have to do anything for you with how powerful I am now! Blyde, we're going back to our old roots! We're going to rob everyone with these new powers!" Donny said, feeling corrupted, as he sent a magic blast at Van Gordon and Doyle, which made them fall to the ground.

"Hehehe, yes sir!" Blyde replied, as the two made a getaway.

The two hunters got back up, rather annoyed.

"Nice job on plan genius, now it backfire!" Van Gordon said, pushing Doyle, and he pushed him back.

"Bah, we'll find another way!" Doyle replied angrily.

At the Golden Seahorse, the heroes were still unsure about the Elana problem, thinking in the other room.

"Elana is still a normal girl, just...from another dimension," Nick said, trying to cheer Cynthia up.

"I know how hard this must be. But as Madison stated, we must focus on protecting her first, then get answers," Mai said.

"HELP!" Audrey's dad yelled, as the gang went in the dining room to see the cash register mysteriously floating. Audrey's dad tried giving chase, but the invisible thief ran out.

"Dad, what's going on?!" Audrey asked.

"Someone just stole our money, and I can't see them!" Audrey's dad said angrily.

"What kind of magic is this?!" Audrey's mom asked.

The girls and boys gave chase, as they followed the floating cash register through the streets.

"Be careful!" Audrey's mom yelled.

The invisible thief kept running, when a boat-mobile hit them, as they went flying onto the sidewalk, dropping the cash register. The invisible spell wore off, revealing Blyde.

"Owwie! The money!" Blyde said, gasping, as he went to get the register, but Audrey grabbed it first. "Give me that back, please! I don't want to uh, hurt you!"

"More like we don't want to hurt you," Cameron threatened.

"Who are you? How did you become invisible?" Jake asked.

"That's none of your business, now prepare to...um...I don't know what to do! BOSS!" Blyde yelled, panicking.

He tried to make a run for it, but Audrey, Tori and Cameron blocked him, as Cameron punched him, knocking him down.

"That was not nice!" Blyde whined, as Cameron and Jake picked him up, and brought him back into the restaurant. Audrey put the cash register back on the counter.

"Thank you so much, Audrey!" Her dad said.

"Who is that delinquent?" Her mom asked.

"Don't worry Mr. and Mrs. Song, we're going to question him nicely and take him to the authorities for you," Nick said happily, as they all went into the other room.

Blyde was put on a chair, as the girls, boys, Ranen and Mai cornered him.

"Don't think of running." Cameron said.

Mai walked up to Blyde and slapped him across the face.

"Ouch, what was that for grandma?!" Blyde asked.

"Nobody steals from me, hun. I may be old, but you don't want to mess with me." Mai warned.

"Look pal, we can do this the easy way, or the hard way," Cameron said.

"Now tell us, why did you rob this place? Why were you invisible? Who is your boss?" Madison asked.

"I'm not telling!" Blyde said.

"Hard way it is. Nick, you can take it from here," Jake said, as the rest walked out of the room and closed the doors.

"So, what's your name, Mr. Starfish?" Nick asked.

"I'm not telling!" Blyde replied.

"I'm not telling is your name? Your parents must have hated you." Nick said.

"That's not true!" Blyde replied, trying to tune him out.

"You tune everything out because you have nothing, well I wouldn't say nothing because you can apparently turn invisible, mind explaining that to me? Wait no, I think I got it. Your invisibility represents how you had nothing in your life, you're just a low-life criminal," Nick rambled.

"NO, I'M NOT!" Blyde yelled.

"Alright, now you really are making me do something I didn't want to do," Nick said, as he got up and walked out of the door. "I need a really annoying song to play, anybody got any suggestions?"

"I think Cynthia's CD of the songs she sings in the shower would be good," Tori said.

"Ugh, fine," Cynthia said, handing Nick the CD out of her purse.

Nick walked back in the room, and put a CD in the player.

"What are you doing?" Blyde asked nervously.

"I didn't want to do this," Nick said, as Cynthia's song came on, as she was singing a Boys Who Cry song obnoxiously.

"TURN IT OFF!" Blyde yelled, as everyone heard him on the other side.

"Come on, they weren't that bad...were they?" Cynthia asked.

"So anyways, back to my story. Where did you grow up? I bet you were dirt poor, and you needed money. I theorize you joined the criminal world after that, and you've lived a sad life ever since. Well, I wouldn't say sad, because you seemed pretty happy when you robbed us back there. So anyways, now that I think I've figured out your story, I'll tell mine. A long time ago..." Nick was saying happily, as Cynthia's song kept playing.

"MAKE IT STOP! I'LL CONFESS!" Blyde begged, about to cry. Nick then turned the song off, as the gang entered in.

"You're going to tell us the whole truth?" Madison asked.

"Yes, I promise, as long as I don't have to listen to that song and him anymore! He's saying nothing and something at the same time!" Blyde yelled.

"Okay, tell us everything..." Madison said, as he told them everything.

"The people you met must have been the treasure hunters! Where's your boss?" Jake asked.

"I don't know, I swear! He might have went back to the carnival!" Blyde replied.

The gang went off, as Mai and Ranen stayed behind.

"By the way, you're going to the slammer," Mai said.

"This wasn't part of my plan..." Blyde sighed.

Donny is seen using his magic wand to lift jewelry out of a store, as they floated to him on the other side of the street.

"Hahaha, this is so easy!" Donny said, laughing, when Van Gordon and Doyle got out of their van and cornered him.

"You come with us." Van Gordon said.

"I don't think so-" Donny was saying, when Van Gordon knocked him out, and threw him into the back of their van.

In Ramos's throne room, Van Gordon and Doyle toss Donny to the ground in front of Ramos. Skipper, Broodwing and Zurtrax were also in the room.

"King Ramos, this is idiot who try to run away," Van Gordon said.

"I told you two fools that using dark magic would have consequences!" Skipper scolded.

"I don't have to help you or anyone else, not as long as I have this!" Donny said, holding out his wand.

"Skipper, show our friend who is in control," Ramos said, as Skipper shot out a bolt of dark electricity from his hand at the wand, making it fall out of Donny's hand. Ramos then laughed.

"Alright, I'm leaving now..." Donny said panicking, when Van Gordon and Doyle blocked him.

"You will capture a girl for me. If I took her myself, it would cause too much attention to my plan." Ramos ordered, showing pictures of Elana.

"...Your plan?" Donny asked.

"Never mind about that. Now you either help me, or be..." Ramos was saying.

"Vaporized." Zurtrax continued, pointing his sword to him.

"You can keep up your pathetic show, and if the guardians get in the way, you can use your magic on them, but only in private. You'll know who they are," Ramos said.

"Of course, my king..." Donny said.

"Now then, Broodwing will sell you Slayers if you need back-up," Ramos said.

"I don't have that kind of money!" Donny said.

"Then I'll pay for it. You are lucky I am this generous," Ramos replied.

Later at night, everyone is seen at the carnival. The heroes were walking around, and they met up with Elana, Roxy and Bryan.

"Hey Elana! Told you we'd make it!" Cynthia said nervously.

"Sorry we ran off earlier, we took longer than expected," Audrey said, making a cover.

"It's okay, don't worry about it. Maybe we could start at the ferris wheel?" Elana suggested, pointing to it. The girls seemed to agree, but Bryan did not.

"Nah, uh, how about we start at the spooky ride over there instead, what do you say?" Bryan asked, holding Elana's fin by force, as he pointed to a haunted amusement ride.

"Uh...sure," Elana said uncomfortably, as Donny was looking at her from behind his tent. They all walked there.

"That's the girl. I better get them off her trail..." Donny said, as he walked away and threw a blue ball to the ground, forming a blue Slayer. It went running up a hill away from the carnival, on standby.

Madison then felt the heart glow in her backpack, as they stopped while Elana, Roxy and Bryan kept going.

"Not now..." Madison panicked, seeing a portal opened right near the carnival on the map.

"Something is near the portal." Zero said, detecting it on his scanner.

"We'll deal with it," Jake said, as they understood and went off.

The knights went up to the hill and saw the blue Slayer outside of the portal.

"Is Ramos really planning an attack now?" Cameron asked, as the four cornered the robot.

It then fled back into the portal, as they gave chase. They arrived in a forest, as the blue Slayer began running. The four powered up, giving chase. Jake jumped up and threw his sword at it, but it fled into a clearing, as Zurtrax and some other Slayers appeared.

"Another trap. We really need to stop falling for these." Cameron said, as they began fighting at once.

"If we stay, the girls will be in danger from that creepy dude, but if we leave, they'll follow us back to the carnival..." Nick said, clashing his sword against a grunt.

Zurtrax then attacked Zero several times, and sent him flying into a tree.

"You will pay, traitor." Zurtrax said, as he threw his sword at Zero, but he dodged, making it get stuck into the tree. Zero then knocked the sword out of the way, and pointed his to Zurtrax.

"You really seem obsessed with destroying me." Zero said, but Zurtrax ignored him and shot electric blasts back, as Zero took cover and continued clashing his sword with him.

Cameron, Nick and Jake attacked a normal Slayer at once with their swords, as Cameron pulled out his handgun and blasted the other Slayers' heads. The blue Slayer remained, as it appeared in front of the three.

"Surrender now-" the blue Slayer said, as Nick threw his sword at its head, causing it to malfunction.

"See robot dude, I can throw swords too!" Nick bragged, as Zero bashed Zurtrax aside, and regrouped with the four.

"Let's go, we've destroyed his army." Jake said, as the four escaped into the woods.

Zurtrax began shooting electric blasts through the forest, burning and slicing down trees, trying to destroy them. From the smoke, Jake went flying and punched Zurtrax in a surprise attack, sending him flying, as he got crushed by the burning trees. The four made their way back to the portal, and powered down, going back to the carnival. Zurtrax smashes his sword through the burning trees, as he climbs out. Zurtrax then yelled, which echoed through the forest.

In the spooky ride, Elana is seen getting into the front two-seater cart with Bryan, as he holds onto Elana's waist creepily.

"That kid is starting to get too clingy," Tori pointed out.

"Don't touch her like that!" Roxy snapped to Bryan.

"Sorry, was making sure she was safe and all!" Bryan said.

Madison and Cynthia got in the next cart, while Audrey and Tori got in the last cart behind.

"I'll just get some food, I'll be back when you guys are done," Roxy said, going off to a food stand.

The carts went off, as a bunch of "scary" fish popped out of the walls and other strange horror objects that weren't really scary.

"This is lame," Cynthia said, not being scared at all.

They entered a hall of mirrors. Donny was seen lurking in the shadows, as he used his magic to change the rail for the guardians, sending them another way, while Elana and Bryan went the other way.

"This is bad." Tori said, looking behind.

Elana looked behind to see the girls were gone.

"Where did they go?" Elana asked.

"Don't worry, at least we're alone now..." Bryan said to her weirdly, as he put his arm around her bck, making her uncomfortable.

"Stop that!" Elana demanded, as she swatted his hand off.

"Whew, I need to do this carefully..." Bryan said to himself.

The four guardians ended up in a weird, creepy fun house area, with tons of boxes and other weird toys, that mostly resembled clowns and jokers. Their carts stopped, and the doors behind close.

"Please tell me this is a joke," Cynthia said, feeling creeped out.

The lights lit up to show Donny standing on a giant box at the end of the room.

"So, you're that idiot's boss." Madison said.

"Welcome ladies, to the biggest attraction of them all! Your demise!" Donny said, laughing menacingly.

Madison pulled out the heart, as the four transformed.

"Are you a bunch of mermaid fairies or something? I have magic powers too!" Donny said, bragging, as he levitated all the cards from his pocket and threw them at the girls. Audrey tried blowing them back, but Donny regained control and fired them like weapons, cutting through supplies.

"Watch it, those could cut my hair!" Cynthia complained, as she pressed the ground and made vines rise up, trapping Donny.

He then made the cards cut through them, as he then launched a dark blast on the box he was standing on. Out of it popped a monstrous centipede creature, as it bounced forward and backward.

"Really? That's the best you can do?" Tori asked, as she made a water blast at it, but it went back into the box like a jack-in-the-box.

It then kept popping out of different boxes in the room, and Tori waited for the right moment, when she sent a water blast through its neck at the right time, destroying it.

"How could you beat me?! No matter, I have a girl to get!" Donny yelled, as he disappeared.

The girls looked for him, as he is seen teleporting to the door instead of outside it.

"Only this far? Come, stupid wand!" Donny complained, shaking it, when Madison saw this.

Madison quickly launched a heart blast at him, making him fall to the ground, dropping his wand to the side.

"Please, don't hurt me! I was forced to, I never wanted to hurt anybody!" Donny begged.

"Likely story. I think it's time you parted ways with this wand, it made you crazy," Madison said, as she picked it up and tried breaking it, but it didn't work.

"Let me try," Cynthia said, trying to break it, but it was too powerful.

"Haha, you stupid girls, that wand cannot be destroyed!" Donny bragged.

"We'll see about that," Madison said, as she threw it in the air and blasted it with a heart blast, turning it into ashes, marking dark energy float out of it.

"NOO, MY POWERS! YOU'VE MADE A POWERFUL NEW ENEMY!-" Donny was rambling, when Tori spun him in a whirlpool and sent him flying into a bunch of boxes, collapsing on top of him.

"I think that's enough of him." Tori said.

"Should we leave him here?" Audrey asked.

"Yeah, he's too pathetic to arrest. Let's make sure Elana is okay," Madison said, as they powered down and got out of the room.

They went back to the start, as Elana, Bryan and Roxy were there waiting, while Elana seemed bored.

"Let's go to the throw a ball at a bottle game next! I'll win you a cool stuffed animal!" Bryan offered.

"Yeah, sure..." Elana replied.

The girls followed Elana, as Bryan seemed weirded out. The knights then met back up with the girls.

"We have a portal to close, we got lured into another trap, but it's all good now," Jake explained.

"I'll do it, you guys keep watching her," Madison said, as she went off to close the portal.

Professor Rotwell is seen at his stand, disappointed he didn't get one customer.

"Sigh, this is life. Not one customer has visited me..." Rotwell said, when Johnny came to the stand.

"Hi there professor, I'd like to buy that fancy artifact," Johnny said, handing him out a dollar, as Rotwell gasped.

"Johnny, you are like the son I never had! I am honored, and that's more extra credit for you," Rotwell said, giving him the artifact.

"Hooray!" Johnny said.

Up on the hill, Madison closed the portal.

"Thank goodness that's done with," Madison said.

"Did you take care of the thug's boss?" Jake asked.

"Yeah, he wasn't really a challenge, like at all. We left him at the not really scary ride. He won't be a problem anymore," Madison said.

They went back down into the carnival, to see Bryan trying to throw a ball at the bottles, but kept missing. He did one another hit, but it backfired and hit Elana in the face.

"Ouch!" she yelled, covering her right eye, as Cynthia and Roxy helped her.

"Are you okay?" Roxy asked, helping her, but Bryan got in the way.

"Now's my chance..." Bryan said to himself. "I'll make it all better, babe!"

He strongly held her by the shoulders, as he leaned it to make out with her, but she kicked him in the stomach, making him fall to the ground.

"What were you doing?!" Elana asked.

"Ow...I tried getting step three...too soon..." Bryan said in pain. "Perhaps this relationship...should end, besides, your friends won't...stop following us everywhere! It's creepy, I'm sorry!"

"You're a creep, just go away!" Cynthia defended, as Bryan walked off in pain.

"I'm sorry things didn't work with that weirdo, but you can hang out with us for the rest of the night! There's plenty of attractions!" Audrey said, trying to cheer her up.

"Just leave me alone..." Elana said, crying, as she walked off from the rest.

"Cotton candy, anybody?" Nick asked, as everyone felt bad.

Aiming for a premiere week since I have all week off. Going to say right now this episode is a game changer, and the spin-off will definitely not be the same after it. So yeah, this batch of episodes are definitely ones you need to see.

13. Deception

The girls and Jake are seen back at the Golden Seahorse after the carnival.

"Wow, Elana's night was terrible. I feel horrible." Audrey said.

"It wasn't really our fault, we were just looking out for her," Madison said.

"Yeah, I'm pretty sure she was more annoyed at that kid more than anything else." Tori said.

"Still, we have to make her feel better. She doesn't know what danger she is in," Cynthia said.

"Ramos is most likely planning a way to separate you from Elana as we speak. You must not let her fall for any deception," Mai sternly said.

Elana is seen walking through the streets, who was still upset over the events earlier. She notices Van Gordon and Doyle's treasure store, and remembering the events from "Whiteout", walked in out of curiosity, startling both Doyle and Van Gordon.

"Hi there," Van Gordon greeted.

"What brings ya here, lassie? Wait...weren't you the one who took the stone?" Doyle asked.

"Yeah, I'm sorry about that again. I just came back here to look at your treasures, they look pretty," Elana said, admiring them.

"Wow...someone like my treasure for once?" Van Gordon said, feeling honored.

"I do, they are cool. Sorry to bother you, I just needed to clear my head. I'm having a lot of problems, with friends, you wouldn't understand..." Elana said.

"Don't worry lassie, of course we will. Now what's the problem?" Doyle asked.

"I feel ignored by these girls that are supposed to be my friends, and a boy that I thought liked me was a jerk. Cynthia is supposed to be my best friend, but I feel like she doesn't understand me," Elana explained.

"Just talk to them about feelings, I sure they good people," Van Gordon replied.

"I guess you're right, thanks for the advice." Elana said, as she felt better and walked out.

Elana is seen walking into the Golden Seahorse, and sees the girl.

"Oh hey Elana!" Cynthia greeted.

"Hope I'm not interrupting anything," Elana said.

"Look, we're sorry about tonight. We just wanted to make sure you were safe," Madison said.

"You didn't do anything, I was just mostly hurt by that creep," Elana said.

"Forget that weirdo, we're your friends," Cynthia reassured, as Elana smiled a bit.

"What's that you're reading?" Elana asked to Audrey, sitting down with the girls, who was reading the schools newspaper.

"The school newspaper, but I don't know if it's really news..." Audrey said, as Elana read it.

"Van bumps into back of Principal Thomson's boatmobile? Wow, this is really lame," Elana said, mocking it.

"What's more than really lame?" Tori asked.

"Student's locker won't open? Wow, thrilling." Cynthia deadpanned.

"I think I did find something useful in this: I completely forgot tomorrow night is the school's parents night," Jake brought up, showing them the section about it in Audrey's paper.

"Oh man...it is. My mom will not be happy when my Algebra II and Mythology teachers talk about my grades..." Madison said, sighing.

"Also, they gave us these family trees to fill out, I better get mine done tomorrow before nighttime," Audrey said, showing the family tree paper.

"Yeah, family..." Elana said, a bit uneasy, as she took a spare paper from Audrey.

Van Gordon and Doyle are seen spying on the girls from their van outside the restaurant, overhearing the conversation. It then began raining.

Elana is seen at her house, talking to her parents. They just finished filling out their family tree that Elana handed to them, and she looked it over.

"There you go sweetie, we filled it out the best we could," her dad said, as the tree only had pictures of Elana and her parents.

"That's it? Where's pictures of your parents, David and Rebecca, or even great aunt Silvia? Why have they never visited or contacted us in sixteen years?" Elana asked suspiciously, as her parents looked at each other.

"It's complicated, we have a small family," her mother replied.

"Your mother and I were also both only children," her father added.

"And your great aunt Silvia lost a lot of documents years ago," her mother added.

"She also lost her boat, phone and any way to contact us? Whatever, I get it. I guess I'm not worth the bother." Elana replied angrily, walking off.

"Maybe it's time she knew the truth..." her mother said sadly.

"Yeah, that we're not normal fish or her real parents, and she's from another dimension?" her father asked.

"I never imagined we'd have to explain we brought her here to save her life..." her mother said sadly, as they held fins, and the from a lightning flash outside, silhouettes of their true Karmanian forms are seen.

Ramos is seen speaking to Van Gordon, Doyle and Zurtrax in his throne room.

"Our last plan failed, but I expected as such. I should never have trusted that buffoon. No matter, today I know we will succeed." Ramos said.

"And we have a way to make sure it happens, mate. Turns out the lass is havin' a parents night at her school, and apparently their school paper's been a bit boring. Would be the perfect time for a distraction, don'tcha think?" Doyle suggested.

"Yes, it would be fun to spice up the school news during this event..." Ramos said, smiling.

"I believe I have the perfect plan to work with for this," Zurtrax was saying.

"I dunno pal, all your plans seem to fail," Doyle replied.

"Except mine are the closest to success, so watch your step." Zurtrax replied angrily.

"Boys boys, no fighting. Getting along is the key. This Elana girl has a bond with them. We need to break that bond..." Ramos said.

"Yes, and that is why we need to throw a distraction at the event. Those two can reveal the truth to her, while we send a Karmanian beast in the background. The girls will watch over the princess, but if a beast is there, one of the groups will have to react. If one goes without the other, then the other will watch her. But they can't if the whole school will be in a panic. I know just the beast for this." Zurtrax calculated.

"Excellent. You two fools, take these. You'll need to convince her when the time is right. You have the single most important role, which is convincing her to join us. Don't screw this up and I promise I'll give you two a promotion," Ramos said firmly, handing Elana's birth records to Van Gordon and Doyle.

"We not let you down, King Ramos!" Van Gordon said, saluting.

"For your sake, you won't. Broodwing has a little surprise up his sleeve for back-up if things get...complicated. Tomorrow, it all changes..." Ramos replied, smirking.

Later that night, Ramos is seen sleeping in his fancy bedroom, getting lots of rest for the big day. Suddenly, through the castle hallways, a shadow is seen floating across the walls, shown from a lightning flash outside. It enters into Ramos's room. A bunch of strange noises are heard, as Ramos wakes up, scared.

"Hello? Is someone there?" Ramos asked, looking around.

He tried going back to sleep, when a creepy Karmanian ghost is seen floating above him, with giant claws on its hands, and odd purple patterns around it.

"Boo." it said in a distorted voice, waking Ramos up again.

"AAAAAHH!!!!!! W-Wh-Who the heck are you?!" Ramos asked, scared.

"I am Daunter, the beast your commander wanted for your big plan." Daunter replied, making odd whispers.

"Uh yeah, sure thing, but jeez dude, could you not give me a heart attack when I am getting rest for the big day?! Have some respect!" Ramos complained.

"My apologies, great ruler. I wanted to make my presence known. I will gladly haunt this school..." Daunter replied.

"Go ahead and set foot...well, I wouldn't say foot since you're floating, but that's besides the point! Just don't do anything until the event starts, just to take them by surprise." Ramos ordered.

"Of course, nightfall is the best time to strike. The foolish guardians and knights have not encountered a beast like me before..." Daunter said eerily, as he floated out of the room, and Ramos went back to sleep.

A janitor is seen mopping the floors at night, when the shadow of Daunter is seen floating past some lockers. The janitor feels a chill and stops.

"Is someone there?" the janitor asked.

There was no response, the janitor just shrugged it off and kept mopping.

The next day, the girls and Jake are seen outside the school with other kids, such as Johnny, Trent, Roxy and Elana, who were there early to set up their family trees and prepare for the event.

"Going to school on a Saturday is the strangest feeling, ever," Tori said.

"I just can't wait for my parents to make me so fancy tonight, and then they'll complain why I'm not smiling and showing off my pretty face," Cynthia rambled.

"Hey Trent, where were you for baseball?" Jake asked to him.

"Oh sorry dude, I didn't feel...good at all. Hopefully another time!" Trent promised, giving an awkward thumbs up, as he went inside the gym to set up his tree with the others.

"Alright, this technically isn't a family tree, but whatever, I don't need everyone to know I'm adopted," Madison commented, seeing her and Jake's tree.

"You're still family to me," Jake said, as Madison smiled.

"Hey Elana, how's your tree going?" Audrey asked, seeing how small it was.

"That's...all we have," Elana replied.

"Don't worry about it, I think it's fine," Madison reassured.

"Don't lie to me, it's not fine. My parents won't tell me, but I don't care, and neither do they," Elana replied angrily, walking off.

"We have to tell her!" Cynthia whispered to the gang.

"We can't yet, if we did it too fast she would freak out, and that'd be the perfect time for Ramos to swoop in," Madison replied.

"She has a point, we have to do it carefully. Tonight is not the night, considering the parents she has are not her real parents," Jake added.

"HELP! OH MAN, THERE'S SOMETHING IN THE CAFETERIA!" Bryan's voice yelled, as a bunch of students and teachers went to the scene to see Bryan, Gnarly Dewd, and the other kid in their gang in front of the cafeteria doors.

"Not that clown again," Tori said, referring to Bryan.

"What's the hubbub?" Principal Thomson asked to the three.

"Dude, Gnarly heard some strange noises coming from the cafeteria earlier, I think it might be haunted! And dude, that's pretty creepy. Anyone wanna investigate?" Gnarly Dewd asked.

"I'm sure it's nothing-" Principal Thomson said, as he walked in to have a bucket of tartar sauce fall on him. "Yup, I probably should've seen that coming."

The three boys laughed.

"HAHA, YOU GOT PRANKED!" Bryan yelled.

"Gnarly's pranks never fail," Gnarly said, as everyone seemed annoyed at their antics.

"Guys, that's really not that funny," Trent said, but they ignored him and looked at the girls and Jake.

"Hey, you five! Thanks for ruining my date last night!" Bryan complained to them.

"How did we ruin it? You were creeping on my friend!" Cynthia snapped back.

"I was trying to get to third step, man!" Bryan pleaded, and saw Elana walk by, as he begged to her. "Elana, take me back!"

"I already said no, you're a jerk! I don't know what I saw in you." Elana said, telling him off.

"Yeah, she's not interested!" Madison defended.

"Maybe one of you would be interested? I like that blonde over there!" Bryan said creepily, checking Cynthia out, and she then slapped him across the face.

"I don't think so, creep! No girl would ever date you three!" Cynthia said.

"Gnarly is offended by this. We shall take our ways elsewhere," Gnarly said, as the three left, when Principal Thomson stopped them, who barely had his suit cleaned off from the tartar sauce.

"I don't think so, you three have a nice week long detention next week!" Thomson said to the three.

"Thanks for that," Elana said to the girls, feeling happy they would defend her.

"We'll see you later tonight for the event," Audrey promised, as Elana left.

"Well, I guess I've moved up the food chain now, eh?" Johnny asked, getting close to Tori, and she pushed him away.

"In your dreams, kid," Tori replied.

"This will make a juicy story for the newspaper though, lots of girl drama going on here!" Johnny said, writing down notes.

"You're a writer for the school newspaper?" Jake asked.

"...That explains a lot," Tori deadpanned.

"As you can see though, we kind of need a breaking story to get the paper really good again! Can I use your drama as a story, please?" Johnny asked, begging.

"No." they all replied at once, as they walked away.

At Ranen's dojo, Jake is seen with Cameron, Zero and Nick.

"I just have an important announcement to make. Be on the lookout tonight at Jake's school event, because I am positive Ramos will try striking in some form," Ranen said.

"Would he risk exposing himself at an event like this?" Cameron asked.

"Not directly, but I have a feeling he'll find a way to manipulate Elana from the inside, so you must watch out for anybody Elana talks to," Ranen said.

"I don't know, the girls stalking her last night didn't end well, and she doesn't know us...does she? I know she's seen us like last night and at the birthday party, but I don't know if she's ever known who we are. Does she just assume we're Jake's friends or what?" Nick was pondering.

"Nick, that's not important," Jake replied.

"I have something concerning to report. According to my map of Posidonia Fields, Karmanian beast activity is detected somewhere in the high school Jake and the girls go to..." Zero reported, showing them the signal.

"What?! But how would he slip one into the school already?" Jake asked in disbelief.

"I'm afraid it's too late now to try to remove it, since the event is going to start very soon," Ranen said.

"Looks like Ramos already got a head-start. Don't worry sir, we will handle whatever it is," Cameron said.

"Should I tell the girls?" Jake asked.

"Maybe not just yet, I think they have enough to worry about right now. If it becomes a threat and they get free time however, we can," Zero replied.

At nighttime, the event has begun. Tons of students and their parents are seen heading into the high school. Van Gordon and Doyle are seen in disguise, blending in with the crowd. The girls and Jake are seen with their respective parents heading into the gymnasium, as they get to their respective family trees. Cameron, Zero and Nick entered in, looking around for the others.

"Man, it's been so long since I was in high school. Those were the good old days, and we never had fancy get-togethers like this," Nick said, reminiscing.

"Alright doc, any way to find that beast?" Cameron asked.

"Yes, follow me," Zero said, as the two went with him into the hallways, as he scanned around.

As they kept walking, the shadow of Daunter is seen following them...

Back in the gymnasium, Elana is seen with her parents at their small tree.

"I think it looks great, you know what they say, less is more," Elana's father said.

Elana seemed annoyed, as she walked off to the side and sat down on a box.

"I think our tree looks nice, now let's go see your teachers, and remember to smile, dear!" Cynthia's mom said to her, as Cynthia seemed annoyed.

As they finally had free time, Jake talked to Madison in private.

"We have a problem, it seems like there's a Karmanian beast somewhere in this school," Jake revealed.

"What?! Really, at this time?" Madison asked, annoyed.

"Don't worry, the other guys are on it...I think," Jake said, a bit concerned.

The other three are shown searching the hallways for the beast, when Zero picks up a signal. They turned around to see all the lockers in the hallway mysteriously opened up.

"Uh...I guess someone left a lot of wind in here, huh?" Nick said, confused, as the lockers all closed themselves.

They then heard three annoying voices, as they quickly hid behind the wall, to see Bryan, Gnarly Dewd and their other friend walking down the hallway.

"I can't believe that jerk principal gave us a week of detention!" the other friend said.

Suddenly, the lights flickered off in the hallway, as the three seemed scared.

"I'm detecting a very supernatural presence," Zero said.

"Are we having a poltergeist?" Nick asked.

"You're actually not too far off..." Zero said.

The three boys seemed scared, when they heard odd whispering.

"You three think you're funny...but the joke is on you, in this stagnant line hall where nobody else can hear your screams..." Daunter's voice said.

"W-whose there?!" Bryan asked, ready to run.

"Gnarly does not find this gnarly!" Gnarly Dewd said, concerned as well.

The three walked back, but they saw Daunter floating in front of them, as he let out a ghastly roar.

"AAAHHH!!!! GHOST!!!" the three yelled, as they ran back the other way, and the knights jumped out to see Daunter was gone.

"Yup, we've got a ghost. Great." Cameron said, as the lights turned back on.

The parents are seen talking to other teachers, as Tori's and Johnny's parents are seen in the same History class.

"Oh dear Johnny, is that the girl you said you liked?" Johnny's mom asked.

"She's a looker!" Johnny's mom added, as Tori blushed.

"Whoa, we're not-" Tori was saying, as her parents laughed.

"I tell you what, now that's lovely," Hank said, as she laughed with Tori's mom. Tori then pulled Johnny off to the side.

"You told your parents I'm your girlfriend?!" Tori asked angrily.

"I didn't say that exactly, I just said I liked you!" Johnny replied.

"GHOST!!!!" the three boys' voices yelled, as everyone ran outside to hear the three yelling.

"Likely story, I assume this is another prank?" a teacher asked.

"No, we saw a ghost! The lights flickered on and off! EVERYONE RUN!!!" Bryan yelled, as the three kept running.

"Ghost, eh? Maybe those three idiots could be telling the truth!" Rotwell said.

"A potential haunting? Sweet, looks like I got myself a story!" Johnny said.

Madison and Jake are seen in another room, with Susan talking to Madison's Algebra II teacher.

"As you can see, she is not doing-" she was saying, when Cameron ran in and grabbed the two.

"Sorry, but we need them for something urgent!" Cameron said.

"Uh...have fun?" Susan said confused, as she looked at Henry.

The eight heroes grouped up in a hallway, as the knights explained everything.

"So there's a legit ghost in this building? That's all I need," Tori said.

"We'll deal with it, you guys just keep an eye on Elana," Madison said, as both groups ran off.

"Good tactical move, that thing was very scary, would not want to see again," Nick said, as they went into the crowded gymnasium to find Elana.

Elana is still seen sitting on the box, when Van Gordon and Doyle appear.

"Hello, what coincidence, you girl from store?" Van Gordon asked, greeting.

"Yeah...what are you two doing here?" Elana asked, confused.

"We like visiting big events like this," Van Gordon said.

"I don't, this family stuff is making me depressed," Elana said.

"Now why would that be, lassie?" Doyle asked.

"You guys wouldn't understand," Elana said.

"Well...actually, we have something to reveal to ya. Come with us, we have some information about your bloomin' family," Doyle requested, as she did so, walking off with them.

The knights were looking around, as Nick saw Van Gordon and Doyle walking with Elana. He looked at their faces.

"Hmm...those faces...have I seen them somewhere before?" Nick wondered, as he was pondering and matched them with Van Gordon and Doyle's. "UH OH!"

The girls are seen lurking the hallways for the ghost, when suddenly, all the lights went out in the school, and everyone was panicking.

"My apologies everyone, looks like we've had a strange power outage, will get this fixed," Thomson announced.

"Maybe we should try the power room," Madison suggested, as the four arrived at the door, with a "No Students Allowed" sign.

They went into the room, as they traveled down the stairs into the basement, and Madison shined the heart around.

"This place is filthy," Cynthia said, seeing how old it was.

Madison then heard odd whispers.

"What is that sound?" Madison asked, feeling bothered by it. Daunter appeared out of the shadows behind the four.

"Hello." Daunter said eerily, as the four felt their hearts jump and freaked when they saw him.

Madison shined the heart on him, feeling pain.

"GAAHH, THE LIGHT!" Daunter yelled, as he went back into hiding in the shadows.

"So you're the monster! Come out, coward!" Cynthia yelled, as Audrey found the fuse box and turned it back on. The lighting returned to the school, much to people's happiness.

Elsewhere, Rotwell and Johnny are seen looking around the halls for the ghost.

"This is our big break Jonathan, if we can find that ghost, it'll help both our careers!" Rotwell said.

"Let's try looking at the power room, whenever an anomaly happens, we trace it back to the source!" Johnny suggested.

The two went into the power room, as the girls were about to leave.

"What are you doing down here!?" Rotwell asked.

"What are you doing down here?" Madison asked back.

"For your information, we are looking for the ghost, Ms. Landers!" Rotwell replied.

"Ha, there is no ghost," Tori said awkwardly.

"Whatever, let those two weirdos do what they want, I'm sure the ghost left," Cynthia whispered.

Audrey quickly turned around to see Daunter opening up his mouth behind Rotwell and Johnny.

"Guys..." Audrey was saying, when Rotwell turned around, making Daunter vanish into a shadow. The shadow flew out of the room, as the girls followed after it against the walls.

Van Gordon and Doyle are talking to Elana outside the school, at a private place in the courtyard.

"So miss Elana, you're curious about your parents, eh? We found something concerning about ya," Doyle said, handing her the birth documents.

"How did you get these?" Elana asked.

"Do not worries about that, but this is the important info," Van Gordon replied.

"Wait...what?! It says I have an unknown birth date, but I know I was born March 4th! I know I was!" Elana replied.

"The truth is...we're not really store owners. We're undercover agents, lassie, and we have something disturbin' to tell ya. You weren't born in Posidonia Fields, you were born in another world..." Doyle revealed.

"What are you saying?" Elana asked nervously.

"Ever heard of the Karmania? It real place! And you born there!" Van Gordon replied.

"What?! That place...is real? You're lying!" Elana said.

"The truth is, you are a long lost princess there. You were wrongfully taken away from your home, and put in this boonie town. Those two so-called parents of yours kidnapped you and brought you here-" Doyle was saying, when her two parents arrived to overhear this.

"Elana, don't listen to them! We were trying to protect you!" Elana's "father' was saying, when Van Gordon pulled out the Stone of Light, revealing their true Karmanian forms, giving Elana a headache.

"What's going on!? What are they?!" Elana asked.

"That is who your parents really are, they lied to ya!" Doyle explained, as Van Gordon put the stone away, turning them back to normal.

"Please, don't listen to those two! They must be working with King Ramos, who is going to hurt you!" Elana's "mother" begged.

"I don't know who I believe anymore, you're the only ones who have ever hurt me by constantly lying to me!" Elana yelled back, as she began crying and ran off to the back of the school.

Doyle and Van Gordon went after her. Zurtrax appeared out of the shadows, cornering the parents.

"King Ramos has waited a long time to see you two..." Zurtrax said, laughing, grabbing them, and throwing electric cuffs at them.

The girls and boys regrouped back at the school entrance.

"We saw the ghost, and it might have gotten out of the school!" Madison explained.

"We have a code red discovery, I think those two goofy hunter dudes have Elana!" Nick revealed, shocking the girls.

The eight ran outside of the school to see Elana with Van Gordon and Doyle, in the back of the school.

"Elana, whatever those two idiots told you, don't listen!-" Cynthia was saying, when Daunter appeared out of the shadows and launched a deadly shadow attack at all eight, sending them flying.

"What is that thing?!" Elana asked to the two.

"It is here to protects you, those eight be evil!" Van Gordon said.

"Evil? But..." Elana was saying.

"Those girlies there have known you were the princess, and didn't tell ya!" Doyle said.

"You WHAT?! How long were you planning on keeping this a secret?!" Elana asked angrily to the girls.

"We were going to tell you, we just didn't kno-" Cynthia was saying.

"Of course, it's Cynthia who has all the secrets!" Elana snapped back.

The girls tried to reason with her again, but Daunter launched another shadow attack from its claw at them.

"Okay, I guess we don't have a choice..." Madison said regrettably, as she pulled out the heart and the four transformed, as did Jake and the knights.

"What ARE you guys?!" Elana asked, confused.

"They are evil fairies, and those boys are their knights!" Van Gordon lied.

"Elana, please, don't listen to them! They are your friends!" Jake yelled, as he tried fighting off Daunter with his sword, but he clashed his claws with it.

Cynthia tried making the dirt rise up to attack him, but he vanished, and launched another shadow attack at her, sending her flying into a wall.

"How long were you going to keep this a secret from me?!" Elana asked.

"Look, I promise we weren't going to hurt you, but those two are deceiving you!" Madison was saying, when Daunter slashed at her, sending her flying.

"This guy is getting on my nerves!" Cameron said, trying to attack, but he kept vanishing.

Zero looked through his visor, as he saw Daunter's location.

"Madison, now!" Zero ordered, pointing to several locations, as Daunter kept moving, and Madison managed to do a heart blast at Daunter just in time, leaving him exposed and making him burn.

Cynthia then launched a rock at Daunter, sending him flying under a light, as it began burning him.

"GAHHH!!!!" Daunter yelled in pain, as he tried to escape, and Tori out a whirlpool around him, preventing him from escaping.

"Due to the situation we're in, I think this is an exception we can make to the imprisoning rule!" Jake ordered.

"Works for me!" Madison said, as she let out some heart blasts at Daunter, and Tori let down the whirlpool, as the blasts ignited Daunter.

He let out another ghastly scream, as he incinerated into ashes.

"You killed him!" Elana said, panicking.

"No no, that freaky ugly thing was an evil ghost, now Miss Elana, please, we're good!" Nick begged to her.

Broodwing is seen watching the battle from the school roof.

"The field seems a bit uneven now, time to add some excitement of my own!" Broodwing said, as he pulled out a robotic orange spike ball, like the same balls used to summon the black and blue Slayers. He tossed it in the air, as it landed on the ground, confusing everyone.

The heroes looked up to see where it came from, but Broodwing was gone. Out of the orange spike, appeared an orange Slayer, which seemed more powerful than the black and blue ones, and had an orange spike head, holding a powerful steel orange sword.

"That...doesn't look good," Audrey said.

Ramos and Skipper are seen watching the fight from a portal.

"Excellent work Broodwing." Ramos said.

"Okay, so no matter, they pulled out a new robot, we've taken plenty of these things!" Tori said.

"You haven't met one like me!" the orange Slayer said, as it sliced its sword through the air, sending out multiple electric blasts, shocking all eight.

"We'll take this thing, you get her!" Jake ordered, as the four knights attacked the orange Slayer.

"Elana, please listen!" Cynthia was saying to her, flying closer.

"Come with us, Elana! Great King Ramos has nice welcome for you, he good man!" Van Gordon lied, as Cynthia made the earth rise up and trap the two hunters in rock.

"Gah, let us go!" Doyle yelled.

"Stop! You're hurting them!" Elana yelled back.

"This thing is too powerful!" Cameron said, as the orange Slayer sent him flying to the ground. It threw out some orange pads at them, as they caused explosions, sending all four flying.

Zurtrax then appeared out of the shadows, as he grabbed Zero from the ground, powering down.

"It looks like I've got someone else the king is excited to meet!" Zurtrax laughed, as the knights got up and tried to attack, but the orange Slayer sent more electric blasts from its sword, damaging all three.

"Zero, no!" Jake yelled, as Zurtrax flew off in his jet-pack.

"Girlie, please stop them!" Doyle begged, trying to break free from the rock.

"How?!" Elana asked, as she held out her fin at all seven. She let out a giant beam of light, which hurt all seven, making the lights explode and ground crack, sending all seven to the ground.

"What did she just do?!" Madison asked.

"What did I do?!" Elana asked to Doyle, as her blast had freed the two from their earth prison.

"There's no time, come with us! Ramos will explain to you more, you must get away from those evil people!" Doyle said.

"No Elana, listen to me, who is your best friend!?" Cynthia asked.

Elana thought about it, as she had flashbacks of the good times she had with the girls, but then thought of her parents' secret, her friends' secrets, and what the two told them.

"I'll come, since I can't trust anybody else!" Elana said, as the two ran off with her.

The seven barely tried to get up, but were too injured. The orange Slayer appeared in front of them, laughing.

"Ugh...we lost Zero and Elana..." Jake said, coughing.

"Fools, this is your end..." the orange Slayer said, as it pointed its sword to them and was powering up an electric charge, but a powerful punch knocked the robot down. They grabbed its sword and jabbed it through the robot's stomach, causing it to explode.

"Ranen!" Madison said, as Ranen kicked the robot to the side, and dropped the sword.

"Sorry for the surprise, but Zero contacted me," Ranen explained.

All seven went back to normal, as Cynthia was upset.

"We're sorry comman-" Cameron was saying.

"Don't apologize, first let's try to rescue Zero and the princess...or at the very least, one of them." Ranen said.

"Did you see that orange thing?! What if Ramos has an army of them lined up?!" Tori asked.

"He won't. He has to make his castle welcoming to Elana, and right now he probably thinks he has a victory, letting his guard down. I know you are burnt out, but Zero would want you to save him," Ranen said.

At Ramos's throne room, Zurtrax throws Elana's "parents" and Zero in front of him, who were all cuffed.

"I have waited a very long time to see you two thieves..." Ramos said.

"Ramos, you're going to pay for this!" Elana's "father" said.

"Silence, I don't have the time. Zurtrax, throw them into the dungeon to rot," Ramos ordered, as Zurtrax took them away. He then looked at Zero. "Ah, Professor Zero. I've waited a while to see you as well. I see you've used your technology against me, but no matter."

"I'm not helping you, if that's where you are going with this!" Zero replied.

"Just hear me out. Any minute now, Elana will be here, and with me. You lost any chance of keeping her on your side. However, if you agree to finish the energy draining device for me...I'll let her go back to her friends," Ramos bargained.

"I'd never build such a wretched device, and the others wouldn't like this..." Zero replied.

"Oh well. I suppose you'll just rot in the dungeon like those two," Ramos said, as Zurtrax grabbed him and began escorting him.

Zero then out a shock from his bracelet, as it shocked Zurtrax. He grabbed his sword from his belt and broke his cuffs free. He slashed the sword at Zurtrax, sending him flying back into Skipper.

"Get off of me!" Skipper yelled, as Zero tossed the sword to the ground.

"STOP HIM!" Ramos yelled, as the soldiers fired at once, but Zero jumped out the open window, and safely grabbed onto a tree branch, making his way down. He then ran off back to the gang.

Zero kept running, as he met up with the others.

"Professor, you made it out okay!" Audrey said.

"Yes, barely, and I'm afraid the Federation is on my trail. You'll have to rescue Elana another time," Zero said, as soldiers were seen searching the area behind, and all eight made a run back to Mai's restaurant, explaining everything that happened. She gave everyone tea to heal up.

"This is most unfortunate. I suppose there were unforeseen gaps we did not prepare for," Mai said.

"I guess we should've told her sooner..." Madison said, feeling bad.

"At least you're okay, doc, but it's still not okay, because...yeah," Nick was saying, feeling guilt too.

Cynthia shed a tear, as we see Elana walking into Ramos's throne room, escorted by Van Gordon and Doyle, who prepared a beautiful greeting for her.

"This room is beautiful, and...the king!" Elana said, looking at everything and gasping at Ramos.

"Thank you. You must be Elana. I've heard much of you," Ramos said, greeting her.

"I've decided I'll join you, since I can't trust anyone else..." Elana said.

"Good choice. I promise you, I will not do anything to hurt you." Ramos promised.

"I have so many questions, your highness, but I don't want to bombard you," Elana said.

"Do not worry, I know you must have a lot to ask on all of this. I know it is a lot take in. I've been studying you for a while, trying to find you. Yes, you are a princess, from Karmania. It is not how it used to be, but I promise, together we'll make it great again..." Ramos said to her.

Ramos is seen showing Elana around the castle.

"And here are beautiful paintings of me, my castle, and me and my castle!" Ramos said, showing her his art gallery.

"Wow, they look nice," Elana said, admiring them. "So, can I ask you questions?"

"Of course, fire away!" Ramos replied. happily.

"Well, who were my real parents for starters?" Elana asked.

"Your real parents were the queen and king of Central Karmania, the most powerful kingdom in the dimension of Karmania. It was a beautiful place, until one day sixteen years ago, your parents mysteriously... uh, disappeared, for lack of better term. Before your parents vanished however, they had a lovely child named Elana, who was snuck into Posidonia Fields to keep you out of danger." Ramos explained.

"Who took me away?" Elana asked curiously.

"Nobody knows for sure, it's quite a mystery. However, those two evil fake parents of yours stole you from the runaway, and they kept you for so long, lying to you about everything!" Ramos lied.

"What exactly happened to Karmania? Why is it a bad place now?" Elana asked.

"After your parents disappeared, the world become enraged with evil throughout. Central Karmania was the strongest kingdom, and without its rulers, the place became a melting pot for weirdos and other strange beasts. The Federation and I have tried to...fight off the evil there, but to no avail," Ramos lied.

"Wait, how did you even know about Karmania to begin with? How do you get there?" Elana asked, as Ramos seemed a bit annoyed.

"Slow down there kiddo!" Ramos replied.

"Sorry, I'm just curious..." Elana replied back, as Ramos laughed.

"Haha, it's okay! I'd be curious too. Well, many years ago, my great grandfather found an Ancient Seal in the Posidonia Fields forest, which connects the two dimensions. Legends say the two worlds used to be connected together, makes you wonder, huh? Anyways, the old geezer explored the land, trying to make peace. Alas, he has bit the dust now, and went up to the great beyond, but he passed the family baton to me, and I've tried continuing his work ever since." Ramos explained to her, as a portrait of his great grandfather was shown.

"It's really sweet you guys would try to help this realm." Elana complimented, as they headed into the garden, which had royal soldiers greeting them.

"Yes, very sweet. However, we are not enough. You have hidden power, and I need your help to defeat the darkness once and for all! It won't be easy, but as long as you cooperate with me, we can do it. You are the light of Karmania!" Ramos said.

"So, I'm the only person who can save Karmania? That's a lot of weight on a teenage girl's shoulders..." Elana replied, a bit uneasy.

"I know, it's a lot to take in, but I believe you can do it. I know you have power, I heard about it when you used it to defeat those liars of friends. You were always destined for being more than a common schoolgirl. You are right now in the highest place in Posidonia, not many people can say they have visited my castle!" Ramos said, as he kneeled, held her shoulder, and waved his fin to the scenery around.

"Oh right...my friends. What will I do about school, and all the other friends I've made?" Elana asked, as Ramos laughed.

"HAHAHA! Forget them, you are about to start a new life in my palace. Isn't being a princess awesome?" Ramos asked.

"Yeah, it is, and I guess missing school is a bonus. Can I see what Karmania looks like?" Elana asked.

"No, it's too dangerous! All those monsters would try to destroy you without your full potential. It is best you stay in this castle with me until you are fully charged," Ramos said.

"I'm glad you care enough about me, unlike some people. Wait, what are my friends? Why did they turn into mermaid-like creatures?" Elana asked.

"Oh dear. I don't know how to explain this, but your so-called friends are actually evil guardians, who are part of the evil in the world. They claim to be good, but they have no clue they are being used! Of course, this is not their fault, they have been deceived to by mortal enemies of mine!" Ramos lied to her.

"I know they have been hiding stuff from me, but...I don't know," Elana said, not sure if she could believe it.

"I know, it sounds like a punch to your gut, but I promise we can turn your friends good! The auroma of these beautiful flowers will help get them off your mind," Ramos said, as Elana smelled some of the flowers on the bushes.

"These are beautiful, I'm glad you keep your garden in such care," Elana said.

"Yes, you can thank the royal gardener for that. Now, we need you to get you some new attire, those street clothes are simply not fit for royalty such as you!" Ramos said, escorting her off back inside.

As they kept walking, they came near the hallway with the mysterious room. Elana looked down the dark hallway to see the giant two doors at the end.

"What is behind there?" Elana asked, as Ramos gasped.

"You can't go there, that's my private study, sorry! Contains some important Federation information. Now come along!" Ramos lied hesitantly.

Van Gordon, Doyle and Zurtrax are seen in front of Ramos's throne, with Skipper to the side, as Ramos and Elana are in front of them. Elana was wearing a new beautiful green and white dress, as she spun around.

"This looks like something out of a fairy tale, I love it!" Elana said, admiring the dress.

"Yes, you can thank the butler Skipper for this dress choice!" Ramos said, as he stared at Skipper.

"Oh, hi there, Miss Elana! The dress was a labor of love!" Skipper said nervously, introducing himself.

"And these three brave gentlemen are your knights. Introducing, from left to right, I dub these three: Sir Zurtrax, Sir Gordon, and Sir Doyle!" Ramos introduced, as Zurtrax was the same, but Van Gordon had giant gold armor on, and Doyle had navy blue armor on. Skipper pulled out a small sword, as he walked up to them, and tapped the sword on their right shoulders.

"Aww, you guys look adorable," Elana teased, as Zurtrax gave out a mechanical growl.

"Sirs Gordon and Doyle were sent undercover to help reveal your identity, as the time was approaching. And Sir Zurtrax is my main army commander, who has fought his hardest in many Karmanian battles. With their help, we will take Karmania back!" Ramos said.

"I'm really interested into getting to know all of you more," Elana said.

"Indeed, now Skipper, escort her to her room, while I talk with these three," Ramos ordered, as Skipper did so, and Elana followed.

"Here is your quarters, miss," Skipper said, showing her into a plain room with just a bed. "Of course, this room has been vacant for so long, but we can redecorate it to your liking!"

"Thank you, but we don't have to do that right now," Elana said, as she sat down and looked out the window at Posidonia Fields beyond.

"Alright, you three have done a FANTASTIC job, especially you two, surprisingly. You earned that raise. However, we cannot slip up, or we'll lose her trust. I need to keep her in here, so I can help her reach her full potential. Keep up the dumb act around her...well, I wouldn't say "act" for you two..." Ramos said, referring to Van Gordon and Doyle.

"...Is that it? Anything else you'd like to add?" Doyle was asking.

"No. That was the end of the sentence." Ramos deadpanned.

"Oh..." Doyle replied, annoyed, as Van Gordon could barely keep his balance in his large gold armor.

"Sir King Ramos, I would like the smaller armor, as this too big for body!" Van Gordon complained, trying to balance himself.

"That's the only kind I have, so deal with it! Keep complaining and I'll lower your promised raise!" Ramos snapped back.

"Sir, now that we have her, should we be looking for Professor Zero?" Zurtrax asked.

"Professor Zero, Professor Zero! Is that all you care about?! Forget him for now. I have the princess in my sights, which is much more important. We can destroy him with the others when the time comes," Ramos mocked.

"Of course, my king..." Zurtrax replied.

The next morning, Madison gets up in her bed, but she couldn't sleep due to the events of last night. She walks downstairs to see Jake with an annoyed Henry and Susan.

"Hey there...Is something wrong?" Madison asked, having a feeling she knew what was wrong.

"It's not just "something", your grades in Algebra II and Mythology have not been good. What's going on?" Susan asked.

"Sorry, I'm just not good at math, and the Mythology teacher is a psychopath, he doesn't know what he is doing!" Madison pleaded.

"Well, that teacher did seem a bit crazy now that you mention it..." Susan pondered.

"He also had a very rude attitude when I asked what he was saying in his foreign language," Henry added.

"Still, that's no excuse for math. You have all the time to hang out with your friends, how about studying?" Susan asked.

"It is your junior year, a very important one for colleges, so take it seriously," Henry added.

"I know guys, I promise I'll study, it'll get better! Things have just been...rough," Madison said.

"Alright, as grounding isn't off the table..." Susan threatened, and this made Madison nervous. "And Jake, a C in Physics? Get that up and you'll be fine!"

"Of course, mom!" Jake replied.

Later, Madison and Jake met up with the other girls and knights at the park, where it was a nice day. There was an awkward silence.

"So, I'll break the ice. What are we going to do about the Elana problem?" Tori asked.

"We could plan a high-action stakes spy rescue mission, maybe Zero could rebuild his spy drone," Nick suggested.

"I can, but you know Ramos's castle is heavily guarded. What will we do if he captures us?" Zero asked.

"Well, Madison escaped from it before..." Tori said.

"Yeah, because she didn't want to be there. How do we know Elana even wants to be rescued?" Cameron asked, as that made them all think.

"Yeah, she didn't have a problem joining them..." Audrey said sadly.

"She doesn't trust us anybody else anymore, and Ramos has probably fed here a ton of lies. I'm afraid, I don't know if there is anything we can do," Jake said, as Cynthia seemed annoyed.

"I am so over this!" Cynthia said.

"Over what?" Madison asked.

"Over this whole guardian stuff, and all this magical stuff. I lost my best friend thanks to it, so I'm done," Cynthia said.

"What are you saying?" Jake asked.

"I'm saying...I'm throwing in the towel. I'm done being a guardian as of now." Cynthia replied bitterly, as they all were surprised.

"Why?!" Madison asked.

"Why? I don't know Mrs. Leader, since you were the one who kept insisting to not tell Elana the truth, and now look where doing nothing got us! Thanks for that!" Cynthia ranted.

"Now now, she had a fair plan. I did the calculations and I concluded that Madison's plan was the only logical way," Zero replied.

"Well, it wasn't my way. You can find a new guardian, and maybe some new friends." Cynthia said.

"Hey now, I thought we were all a team?" Cameron asked.

"Yes, we were. Not anymore. I just need time away from you all." Cynthia said, as she walked away from the gang.

"Cynthia, come back!" Madison shouted, but she kept walking.

"She'll be back in five seconds," Tori said, as five seconds passed. "Okay, she's probably just in that phase, I'm sure she'll get over it."

"Farewell Cynthia, I'll miss you, even though I hardly knew you. Welp, I'm not a fan of this uneven number, four knights and three guardians? That's just really awkward, so I'm going to throw the idea out of a new guardian. Maybe that red-headed friend of Elana's could be fit, although I'm not sure if that's a good move right now, and also I don't know if we can even officially get a new guardian...Can we?" Nick wondered.

"We're not going to replace her. I'm sure Cynthia will come back, she's just being a baby." Madison said.

"She's not really gone...is she?" Audrey asked.

"Oh, she'll be back. I'm not buying this." Tori said.

"I don't know, she sounded pretty serious." Cameron said.

"This is not how I wanted to spend a Sunday..." Jake said.

The gang visited Mai.

"She left, eh? I'm sure she'll come back...eventually. Maybe." Mai reassured.

"That's not reassuring," Madison replied sadly.

"So, is it possible to consider the idea of a new guardian?" Nick asked to Mai.

"Nick, we already said we're not replacing her," Jake said.

"Well, just still putting it on the table if she truly never returns, we have to consider every worst case like Zero told me!" Nick said.

"Oh, she'll be back. She is most likely just venting out anger. Give her time, or try to find a way to apologize. Like a fish out of water, it will either die or go back into the water if you take initiative," Mai said.

"She doesn't want anything to do with us though," Madison said.

"We could throw her a surprise party, bake her a cake, get her an early birthday present, or even get her new clothes. I'm sure she'd appreciate the last one," Tori said.

"You must get her back soon though. When divided, your powers will weaken, and if Ramos were to attack...well, good luck is all I'll say," Mai said, as they seemed nervous.

"I'm afraid this is a problem you'll have to solve, because none of us really know Cynthia like you do," Jake said to the three girls.

"Why can't we all just get along? It'd solve so many of the universe's problems," Nick said.

In the slum village, Diggy is seen whistling outside his trailer, organizing his junk. A brown slug creature then pops out of the ground.

"Gah, shoo, filthy creature! Come, on get out!" Diggy yelled, making it go away by waving an old cape at it. "Disgusting creatures, and that says a lot coming from a slime-ball like me!"

He was about to go back inside, when a vine began stretching from behind at his leg, as it made him trip to the ground. A familiar voice then laughed.

"I recognize that cruel laughter anywhere!" Diggy said, getting back up and readjusting his goggles to see Vinerox.

"And I recognize your filthy smell anywhere!" Vinerox replied back.

"Hey pal, how have...you uh, been? I thought you got captured by the kids," Diggy said.

"I escaped. Barely. I got into a fight with the spoiled girl that controls Earth, and some half-machine freak. They both uh...sent me flying," Vinerox explained, a bit embarrassed, and Diggy then laughed.

"Wow, the mighty Vinerox got beaten up by one of those girls?-" Diggy asked, laughing, when Vinerox then wrapped vines around his mouth.

"Shut up. Now, here's the deal. Word on the street is-" Vinerox was saying.

"We don't have any streets around here-" Diggy interrupted, mumbling under the vines.

"Would you let me finish?! The Fed soldiers are saying that Ramos finally got the princess, and now the guardians have a heavy loss on 'em," Vinerox said.

"He found the princess, eh? But what are you going to do about it?" Diggy asked.

"I'm going to crush their spirits even harder for my revenge! I'll especially teach that stupid robot nerd and the annoying Earth guardian a lesson for messing with me!" Vinerox said, laughing, as he let the vines off of Diggy's mouth.

"You fool, don'tcha know Ramos doesn't want any monsters attacking Posidonia?! They'd interfere with whatever he plans to do with the girl!" Diggy reminded.

"Who said I needed to attack Posidonia? All I need to do is lure them here again, but how..." Vinerox thought, when another brown slug creature popped out of the ground, as Vinerox picked it up with a vine, tossing it away. "Filthy creatures."

"Yeah, those there crawlies sure are filthy, would be unfortunate if something gross like that got on the rude one's dress. I know she doesn't like me, or anything filthy..." Diggy said, as this gave Vinerox an idea.

"I cannot believe I am saying this, but you're a genius." Vinerox said, laughing.

"I am? I mean...yeah, I am! What did I do?" Diggy asked, confused.

"If only I could control these creatures, would be unfortunate if I used these to cause some mayhem.." Vinerox said, as he used his vine to pick up the one up he tossed aside.

"You're not seriously considering using those, are you? You would need the...queen..." Diggy was saying.

"Yes, and I would love to control the queen so the hive follows her wherever she goes! Happen to have a potion that could do that?" Vinerox asked.

"Uh...sure, but what's in it for me? Can'tcha you ask Broodwing for these things?" Diggy asked.

"Because I don't have the kind of cash Broodwing wants, but I have plenty of the currency you desire..." Vinerox said, pulling some raw food out of a bag.

"Fine, I think I have the right one. I stole this off a black market in the Bazaar a while ago, but never had a use for it. It's a mind control potion for little critters. Just rub it on those vines, put up against the target of your choice, and wala, that species is under your control. It's only temporary though, so you better use it fast!" Diggy said, pulling a circular potion out with a brown liquid inside.

"Don't worry, I can make this a quick victory. Now, give me," Vinerox demanded, as he held out the bag, but Diggy held the potion back.

"Hold on there bub, who says I have to still take your currency? Maybe I should charge you in actual money, I've always wanted to be filthy stinking ri-" Diggy was ranting, when Vinerox picked him up vines angrily, and lifted up in the air.

"Don't you want this...delicious, ugh, food?" Vinerox asked, holding the bag up in another vine, opening it up to show raw food inside.

"Alright, alright, fine fine, just put me down!" Diggy begged, as Vinerox dropped him to the ground. He handed him the potion, as Vinerox laughed, opening it.

Vinerox dipped his vines into the potion, as he touched the slug he picked up with it, and its eyes glowed green...

"Show me where your queen is." Vinerox demanded, as the slug began crawling him to the location. "Excellent, now to contact the King's commando bot..."

Cynthia is seen walking out of a clothes store holding a bag, as she walked across the street when the sign said pedestrians could cross. As she crosses the other side, Audrey is seen walking up to her. Tori and Madison spied on the two from a distance away.

"Well, Audrey is the nicest person for this. Maybe Cynthia will listen to her..." Madison said.

"Hey Cynthia, we're so sorry for what happened. We really didn't want this to happen to Elana. Please, let's all just be friends again?" Audrey asked to her.

"I already told you all, I need time away from this magical stuff." Cynthia sighed, as she kept walking.

"Well, if not even Audrey can get through to her, I don't know if anyone can..." Tori said, as Audrey regrouped with the two.

Cynthia is seen upstairs in her house, annoyed, as Julia enters the room.

"Want to play with me?" Julia asked.

"Go away, now is not the time!" Cynthia yelled, lying in her bed miserably.

"Now is never the time!" Julia replied, as she walked away.

Roxy is then seen entering the room.

"I got your text, what's the problem?" Roxy asked.

"I'm depressed." Cynthia said.

"Oh dear, what happened?" Roxy asked.

"Just some friend problems," Cynthia replied.

"Music always cheers me up when I'm depressed, listen to this," Roxy said, as she got out a pair of headphones and put them around Cynthia's head.

A rock song was playing, as Cynthia slightly jammed out to it.

"I guess it's okay," Cynthia said.

"Just listen to a lot of songs, and you'll be better in no time!" Roxy said, as she lay on Cynthia's bed, also listening to a song of her own.

Back at Ramos's throne room, he is seen speaking to Elana.

"Elana, you asked what Karmania looked like, no? I cannot physically show you because it'd put too many targets on your back, but I can show you this map!" Ramos said, unfolding an old Karmanian map, showing all the kingdoms.

"Wow, this looks cool. I guess it doesn't look like it does on there though..." Elana said.

"This map is a bit outdated, but it's actually a magical map. Touch this area here..." Ramos said, pointing to near a mountain area in Central Karmania.

Elana touched, it as it made a magic pulse appear on it.

"What did I just do?" Elana asked, confused.

"Ah, it appears there was a storm about to form, but you stopped it!" Ramos lied.

"Really? I can do that?!" Elana asked, impressed, when Zurtrax slowly walked in, as saw.

"Yes, and so much more you don't know. Now run along and eat up, you must be starving. The royal chefs have prepared you a great meal," Ramos said, as Elana walked off.

"I could get used to this new life..." Elana thought, as Zurtrax approached Ramos.

"Did it work?" Zurtrax asked.

"Yes, she should have opened a portal for the guardians. Let him crush whatever spirit is left in them." Ramos said, smiling.

Vinerox is seen in front of a large hole, close to the same mountain range Elana touched on the map. A portal opens near it, as Vinerox smiles. He then looks into the hole, as two giant green eyes light up, with tons of the slugs crawling out of the hole...

Madison is seen knocking on the door of Cynthia's house, as her dad greets her.

"Hello, what brings you here?" Cynthia's dad asked.

"Can I talk to Cynthia?" Madison asked.

"She doesn't seem to want any company, but you can try..." her dad replied, as he let her in.

Madison went upstairs into Cynthia's room to see her and Roxy listening to music.

"Hello!" Madison yelled, as Roxy looked up to see her.

"Oh hey Maddie," Roxy said, as she took off her headphones, and Cynthia saw her.

"Roxy, I think now is a good time to leave," Cynthia said.

"Oh...alright. See you later," Roxy said, as she slowly left.

"What do you want?" Cynthia asked.

"Look, I'm sorry about my plan not working. But we can't help Elana without you," Madison said.

"I already told you, I'm not coming back. Whatever you are up to, I don't want any part in it," Cynthia replied.

"So much for being friends, no matter what we go through. Have fun with your music, I guess," Madison replied.

"It's not like we were close anyways, you were the newest member of our circle," Cynthia said, as Madison left. She then felt her heart glow.

"Great..." Madison said, sighing.

Madison is seen meeting up with the others at the Golden Seahorse.

"No luck, huh? That is most unfortunate, but I suppose you will have to carry on. You have more pressing matters such as Elana being in Ramos's possession..." Mai said.

"And whoever that white knight was, that's going to forever bug me..." Cameron wondered.

"We'll worry about those later, because we received a report that a bunch of ground slugs are causing chaos throughout Central Karmania." Jake said.

"A ground what?" Tori asked.

"Ground slugs, they are basically large slugs that travel underground, because their name has ground in it, and-" Nick was saying.

"I get it," Tori interrupted.

"Good timing, because Madison mentioned a portal opened too, correct?" Zero asked.

"Yeah, let me find out where it is..." Madison said, hovering it over the map, as it opened a new x.

They were seen under the park bridge, looking at the portal.

"I'm telling you, this feels so weird with only seven people..." Nick said, feeling out of balance.

"Our power will feel weaker without Cynthia, but I guess it'll have to do..." Madison said, as the seven went into the portal to see the barren area, which had tons of cracks in the ground. They all transformed.

"Yup, this is the trail of ground slugs," Jake said.

They then looked further around, as they saw a destroyed rebel cart, with rebels on the ground.

"Are you guys okay?" Cameron asked, helping them up.

"Yeah, our ride got ruined by those slugs..." the rebel said.

"Watch out..." the other one warned, as the knights felt the ground tremble.

"According to my scanners...this is not good," Zero said, as a bunch of ground slugs popped out of the ground and began shooting mud at them, as the guardians avoided.

"Of course Cynthia gets to miss this!" Tori said, as she let out a flood at the slugs, washing them away, but more kept popping up.

"I really wish I could fly sometimes!" Nick complained, as he was whacking all the slugs with his sword.

"I've never seen ground slugs with eyes like these, either..." Jake noted, when all the slugs stopped attacking and began getting into patterns.

"What's going on?" Audrey asked, who blew some away.

They then felt a giant tremor, as the head of the ground slug queen appeared out of the ground, with Vinerox on top, laughing.

"Oh no..." Zero said.

"What is that thing?! And who is that on top?!" Tori asked.

"That is the ground slug queen, which is not even its full body. The creature on top is a criminal named Vinerox Cynthia and I faced, who kept turning the Karmanians into pods. He busted my scanner, so I could not imprison him, but I have since fixed it," Zero explained.

"That's right freak, I'm back with an army! But wait...where's the annoying girl!?" Vinerox asked, not seeing Cynthia.

"You mean Cynthia? She just quit, but I'll send a postcard to her," Tori bragged, as she tried launching a water blast, but the queen buried itself underground and kept digging.

All seven were frantic, as it popped up again and multiple slugs crawled out, and they caused the ground to crack. Vinerox shot vines out at the guardians in the air, grabbing them. He then smashed them together multiple times, as Audrey tried to blow the vines off, but her winds were not as strong.

"Let-let go!" Madison yelled, as she did a heart blast, but it just barely cut through the vine due to the weakened strength, letting her go. She then launched a blast at Tori's vine, but Vinerox blocked it with another vine.

The queen shot out multiple mud blasts, as it knocked all four knights to the ground. Vinerox let the girls go, as he smashed them together another time, and the blasts hit them, as they all fell to the ground.

"We need Cynthia back! Like my grandmother said, when we're divided, our powers weaken!" Audrey said.

"How tragic. Finish them!" Vinerox ordered, as the queen roared and went back underground.

The slugs cornered all seven, as Tori let out another splash of water at the slugs. The queen popped out again, as Vinerox shot out some vines, but the knights cut the vines off.

"We need to do a tactical retreat, they are too strong!" Jake said, evading more mud blasts.

"Retreating now?!" Tori questioned.

"We kind of don't have another choice!" Madison replied, as she launched a heart blast at some more slugs.

The seven quickly escaped through the portal, as Vinerox made the queen stop.

"See ya, losers. I'm just too strong for them now. But I know they are coming back..." Vinerox said, as the queen dug back underground, as the other slugs followed.

The seven de-powered back under the bridge.

"We need Cynthia back, an enemy like this is in her element, because there's a plant dude, and there's also ground critters!" Nick said.

"I think I have one last way...I'll be back," Madison said.

Madison is seen entering a radio station called WPFR, and goes to the front desk.

"I would like to request a song...for a friend. Got any slots?" Madison asked.

"I don't see why not. The next song coming up looked terrible anyways, so sure," the fish at the front desk said, as he escorted her to a broadcasting room.

Cynthia is seen listening to this exact station in her bedroom still, when Madison's voice comes on.

"I have a special request, which goes out to someone named Cynthia," Madison was saying, as Cynthia was surprised.

Cynthia's favorite Boys Who Cry song then began playing, called "Friends", as Madison left the station and went back under the bridge.

"Did it work?" Audrey asked.

"Guess we'll find out. Ready for a rematch?" Madison asked.

"Let's do it," Jake replied, as they all went into the portal again, as they transformed.

They ran around the area, when they heard a giant tremor, as the queen popped out with Vinerox.

"Back already? You must really want to end!" Vinerox said, as he shot out some vines, but the guardians dodged, as the knights cut some off.

More slugs popped out holes, as they began attacking. Audrey blew heavy gusts at them, and Tori washed them away. They tried to attack the queen, but it was too strong and kept digging underground. A bunch of vines shot out from the ground, as it grabbed all the knights, and they couldn't break free.

"A little help?!" Cameron yelled.

"Hey ugly, miss me?" Cynthia asked, as she walked into the scene.

"So you finally show you face. I guess you wanted to join your friends when they die." Vinerox said, laughing.

"Actually, I came back to finish you off." Cynthia said, as the girls regrouped to her.

"My song worked?" Madison asked, surprised.

"Yeah, you knew my favorite song. That means a lot to me. I'm sorry for how I acted, I was just angry I lost one of my friends, but I realized...I still have you guys," Cynthia said.

"Ha, I called it. I knew you'd come back!" Tori said, as Cynthia punched her in the arm playfully.

Madison shined the heart on her, as she went into her guardian form

"How did you find us?" Audrey asked.

"Just ask your grandmother, she knows everything," Cynthia replied.

"Also, the knights!" Madison yelled, as Vinerox rose them up, but Tori launched some water slices at the vines, which cut through them due to their united strength.

"WHAT?!" Vinerox yelled, as the slugs kept attacking, and they all fought them off.

"Cynthia, it is good to have you back. I have an idea, but it requires your help. That giant slug is their queen. If you could somehow find a way to get it out of here, all the slugs would follow..." Zero offered.

"I like this, but I'll need some help," Cynthia said to Audrey and Tori.

The knights kept fighting off the slugs, as the four girls distracted the queen and Vinerox. Vinerox launched several vines at them, but they kept moving faster now, dodging, as Madison launched a heart blast at one, burning it. Audrey and Tori then did an ice combo again, as Audrey blew into a last of Tori's water, which froze it around the queen's hole.

"NOO!" Vinerox yelled, as Cynthia picked up some of the broken ground and tossed it at Vinerox, causing him to tumble off the beast.

"Can you handle this?" Madison asked to Cynthia.

"If I can handle losing my best friend, I think I can handle this thing," Cynthia said, as she placed her fins on the ground and began making the ground containing the queen rise up.

She concentrated hard, as it kept rising. Vinerox got back up and shot some vines at her, but she controlled them with another fin, as she sent them flying back, attacking him. The ground was still rising despite this.

"How...how is this possible?" Vinerox asked, as Audrey blew a gust of wind at him, causing sand to blind his view.

"You'd be surprised how concentrated I can be. Alright....HERE WE GO!" Cynthia yelled, as she made the rock with the queen go flying faraway.

The slugs stopped attacking the knights, as they all ran away through the plains.

"You did it!" Jake said.

"No, my army!" Vinerox yelled, as Cynthia threw more rocks at him, causing him to fall to the ground.

"You're a wise one, but you don't mess with my friends!" Cynthia yelled.

"This time, there's no escape, friend." Zero said, stunning Vinerox with his scanner, as it let out many electric bolts, preventing him from moving.

"NO! Why can't I move?!" Vinerox asked, trying to attack Zero. It read him as "Guilty", as it let out the containment unit.

"Cynthia, you can deliver the final blow," Madison said.

Cynthia powered it up, as she sent a blast of earth cuffs at Vinerox, as he was surrounded in a rocky prison. Some rebels later came and took Vinerox away. The gang powered down and went back through the portal, as Madison closed it.

"You know, being depressed was boring anyways. I may have lost a friend, but at least I still have you guys," Cynthia said, smiling.

"Whew, nice job Cynthia, looks like we don't need a replacement after all. Welcome back!" Nick said.

"Replacement?" Cynthia asked.

"Just ignore him," Tori said, as they all laughed.

"Nick, you're a really funny guy," Cynthia said, as she kept laughing.

"I don't get it. What's so funny? Guys? Hello?!" Nick asked, as the rest walked away.

...

Ramos is seen entering his "campaign manager" room, as the doors close. He is in a dark room, and a purple portal lights up in front of him.

"Uh, hey...boss. I have her, everything is going to plan."

"...Yes. She doesn't suspect a thing..."

"Of course, I'll keep her here..."

"I see."

"No."

"Huh? Alright then..."

"Yes, we shall be...VICTORIOUS!" Ramos yelled strangely, holding up his staff.

First I lauded you for getting high-quality episodes out weekly, now I have to laud you for getting them out daily. XD Both these episodes were great, and I especially liked Episode 13. Awesome plot twist that genuinely surprised me, awesome action, and awesome villain. I never would've guessed that the first villain all the heroes would agree to neutralize (kill) would be a ghost. :P

Paint Skater died too, to be fair. :P But yeah, they didn't have much of a choice. Daunter was probably the most powerful beast they have faced, and they couldn't get him in a good position to neutralize him. Plus, with what was going on with Elana, they also had to take him out sooner than later. Also, he could've turned into a shadow and escaped anyways before they neutralized him. Hopefully that cleared that up.

15. Bounty

Professor Rotwell and Johnny are seen snooping around the Posidonia Fields forest late at night, looking for something.

"Professor, what are you looking for again?" Johnny asked.

"Well, since our ghost hunt was a bust, I believe there's something hidden in these woods! Of course, we're not legally allowed here, because those Federation goons have this area blocked off for "private property". Balderdash! I bet they are hiding something, I have heard stories of strange things being seen in these woods..." Rotwell said, looking through his binoculars for anything.

"Professor, I can't stay out too late, or my parents will be angry," Johnny replied.

"Don't worry, we'll be done soon, probably, hopefully. Tell them it was for an extra credit project if they ask! Now, no more questions! Keep looking. Just look at that smug soldier, standing there, thinking he's above it all. Well, YOU ARE NOT SPECIAL!" Rotwell yelled, looking at a Federation soldier patrolling the area.

"Whoa, what was that?!" Johnny asked, as he looked to the right and sees a white glowing seahorse, as it quickly floats away.

"See what?!" Rotwell asked, as it vanished.

"I swear, I think I saw a magic seahorse, scientific name, hippocampus! Or maybe it was just an albino seahorse..." Johnny wondered.

"AHA, I knew it! That must have been a legendary sea unicorn! Let's get a photograph and get-" Rotwell was saying, as some soldiers shined lights on the two.

"What are you two doing here? You have fifteen seconds to leave the premises, this is a restricted area!" the soldier warned.

"We were on a hunt for a project and wandered off too far, my apologies officer...LET'S RUN!" Rotwell yelled, as the two made a run for it.

"Weirdos," the soldier said, shrugging them off, as he kept walking.

"Dang, if only we could get footage of that seahorse..." Johnny said, as they left the forest.

"No worries, at least I have you as an eye witness! If only das nervig soldiers weren't in our way...Oh well, I need rest!" Rotwell said, as the two went to their homes.

The sea unicorn is seen floating to a lake, as it was glowing white, and began getting a drink.

"There you are..." said a haunting voice, as a mysterious figure is seen looking at the creature.

They pull out a bow and arrow, as they aim it at the sea unicorn.

"Steady..." they said, as they fired, but the unicorn quickly avoided it, as it made a run for it.

"Blasted contraption! Guess I have to do this the old way..." the hunter said as the figure appeared out of the shadows to show a tall shark.

The shark had a golden eye on the left, and powerful blue, white and gray warrior material, with a large sword on his back. Some soldiers were searching around, and flashed a light on the shark.

"Hey you, STOP! This is a restricted area! Leave or we'll shoot!" the soldier yelled.

"Wait, we shoot people?" another soldier asked.

"No, but that's a threat! I'll do it!" the soldier warned to the shark.

"I'm not going anywhere." The shark replied, as they pulled out their gray sword from behind, as it shined.

"Welp, we warned ya. Fire!" the soldier yelled.

Plasma beams were shot at the shark, as he smiled and put his sword in front of them, as the beams were absorbed into his sword.

"Uh oh, that's not good." a soldier said.

The sword glowed, as he waved it out and it shot out a powerful beam at all the soldiers, sending them flying into trees, into the lake, or on the ground.

"Tell that fool king I have something I need. This is my hunting spot now." the shark said, as he laughed and walked off.

The sea unicorn is seen rushing toward the Ancient Seal portal, as a sharp branch on the ground cuts through it, leaving a mark. The sea unicorn carefully sees the machine keeping the portal open, as a few soldiers were around it.

"So...you guys want pizza tomorrow?" a soldier asked.

"I'm sick of pizza, if you want me to be honest..." another soldier replied, as the creature went into the portal.

The next day, the girls and Jake are seen at school. Tori is in seen in History, as the teacher is taking attendance.

"Tollor...present...Townsen...Townsen?" the teacher called out, as Tori seemed nervous.

"Uh, she's not going to be at school for a while. On a very very very very long vacation," Tori replied, as the teacher shrugged it off and marked Elana absent.

The girls and Jake are seen regrouping after-school, as they walked home.

"So did anybody else get a thousand questions on where Elana is?" Cynthia asked, as the other four nodded.

"Yeah, but I don't know how long the excuse of "a very long vacation" is going to last." Audrey replied.

"I mean, how else are we supposed to tell everyone? That she's with the King who is really an evil tyrannical ruler that wants her power because she's another world's princess? Yeah, I bet people will TOTALLY buy that," Tori replied snarkily.

Jake then got a communication on his watch.

"Ranen wants us all, looks like we got something to deal with," Jake said.

They are seen at his dojo, as Mai is there too. Zero is showing them something on his laptop.

"Alright, look at this," Zero said, holding up his laptop to show a page for cake recipes, confusing everyone.

"Uh...I'm not sure what we're looking at here," Madison said.

"I didn't know you baked cake." Tori said.

"Impressive find, I might add one of these recipes for desserts on the menu." Mai said.

"Maybe you could bake one for my birthday! Which is in two days, hint hint," Cynthia suggested, winking, as Zero was confused.

"Cake? Wait, what?! Nick, did you leave this open?" Zero asked.

"Sorry doc, I was looking at recipes and needed the closest computer possible!" Nick apologized, as Zero closed out of that tab.

"It's fine, now here, look at this. This is a picture for a crown Ramos is having crafted for Elana, which a spy sent to me. This will help her channel her powers, but it needs two key catalysts for it to work: A powerful gemstone, and sea unicorn magic. We must not let him get these two ingredients," Zero replied, showing blueprints of a golden circular tiara crown.

"...Did you just say sea unicorn?" Audrey asked.

"Yes, he did. Sea unicorns are rare mythical creatures in Karmania, so yes, all those fairy tales you heard about unicorns are real, they're just not here. They're in Karmania." Mai said.

"Wow, it truly is a magical place," Madison replied.

"Wow, and here I stopped believing those existed after I was like, three years old," Tori replied.

"To make things complicated, supposedly someone spotted a sea unicorn late last night within the Karmanian forests, when the rebels were looking around. Ramos could try to capture it, or even someone else. Their horns will go for high prices in Karmania." Zero explained.

"Protecting an animal? This should be fun!" Audrey said eagerly.

"For what we've gone through lately, I hope so." Tori said.

"Don't get too overconfident, even the most simple tasks can have an obstacle thrown into them. Ramos could send someone after the creature," Ranen said, as Madison felt the heart glow.

"Well, here goes nothing. A nice unicorn hunt could help clear my mind of Elana..." Cynthia wondered, as Madison put the heart over the map, showing an x in a new spot.

"I'm going to warn you though. I dealt with a sea unicorn before when I was a guardian, and let's say catching one was...frustrating." Mai said.

"I think we'll be fine...hopefully," Madison said, a bit concerned.

Zurtrax is seen inside of a Bazaar building, as a scared blacksmith finished welding Elana's crown, presenting it on a table.

"H-here you go, it's as good as new!" the blacksmith said, handing it to Zurtrax nervously.

"Here is a gift from the King." Zurtrax replied, throwing him a bag of gold, as he left.

He is seen back at Ramos's throne room, handing Elana the crown.

"And here you go Elana, carved from ancient gold, is your own crown!" Ramos said.

"Wow, I love it!" Elana said, putting it around her head.

"This will help you channel your powers when the time comes." Ramos explained, as Elana seemed upset. "Is something bothering you?"

"Well, I guess I miss having people my age to hang out with, it feels...lonely. You guys are also pretty...old, no offense..." Elana said awkwardly to Ramos's gang.

"None taken." Skipper replied.

"I'm not that old, girlie!" Doyle replied.

"I can be the fun to hang with, why not we become the friends?-" Van Gordon was asking to Elana, when Ramos interrupted.

"Haha, she's only a young girl, she doesn't want to hang out with two boring old men like you two! You are only here to protect here, not have tea! Now no worries Elana, I have someone to help your problem! Oh, MORGANA!" Ramos yelled.

The guards open the door, as a morbid black-haired girl in a royal green and white uniform appears, bowing to Elana.

"You called, my king?" Morgana asked.

"Yes, keep our new friend here company. Elana, this is Morgana, a resident of the castle, around the same age as you. I bet you can find something to talk about, whether it be boys, fashion, music, or whatever, I dunno, what girls are even into these days?" Ramos said to Elana, as she met Morgana.

"Hi, I'm Elana." Elana greeted.

"Hello, want to play with me? Follow me to my room, I'll show you a great time!" Morgana replied a bit too happily, as they walked off.

"That'll keep her busy. Do I really look that old to you guys?" Ramos asked, when a soldier walked up to him.

"Sir, we have a problem. A hunter trespassed into the forest last night, and attacked our group outside the Ancient Seal. They are somewhere in Karmania now! They said that this is their hunting spot now, and also called you a fool!" the soldier reported.

"WHAT?!?! First, I gave you idiots one job, and you messed it up, nice going! You had one job man, one job. Second, NOBODY calls me a fool! I know who this is, I'll deal with it..." Ramos said.

"I also heard sightings of the sea unicorn around, being hunted by this hunter..." the soldier added, as Ramos got off his throne and began walking off.

The heroes walked a long way to find the portal, as they found it in a cave near the Posidonia Fields Beach.

"Jeez, this long of a walk for a portal all the way here? I could've been tanning by now!" Cynthia said.

"If it were beach season, sure," Tori replied.

They headed into the portal, as they arrived into a forest near the Ancient Seal. They saw some soldiers marching around, and avoided their sight.

"Keep a close eye out, I hear some crazy hunter attacked Mark and his squadron in the other forest last night..." a soldier warned.

"Looks like someone else is after our creature..." Jake whispered.

The eight tried avoiding soldiers, but one shined a dot on Tori.

"FREEZE!" a soldier yelled, as a gang found them.

"Listen here, you all better surrender or we'll shoot!" another one said.

The gang was about to transform, but a powerful energy blast headed for the soldiers, as the heroes saw it coming.

"What is that?!" Cameron asked.

"Hey uh, you may want to look behind you," Tori said to the guards, as she began to scatter with the others. The guards laughed though.

"Haha, that's the oldest trick in the book!" one of the guards said.

"Nice try, we're not falling for...AAAHH!" the soldier yelled, as he turned around and the group got hit by an energy explosion, as they went flying across the forest.

The eight managed to dodge it, as they transformed.

"Okay, I can't tell if that was a good thing or a bad thing..." Nick wondered, seeing the unconscious soldiers.

The sea unicorn then went racing by, dodging another blast.

"That's the unicorn!" Cameron said.

"Wow, those fairy tales got it shockingly right," Audrey said.

"But who is chasing it?" Madison asked, as the shark hunter landed on the ground in front of all eight, as he balanced himself back up and angrily stared at them.

"Huh, that's a face only a mother would love," Tori teased.

"I could say the same for you, girl. Now step aside." The shark demanded.

"We can't really step aside, pal," Tori replied back, referring to how the girls floated in the air.

"Maybe you should chill on the snark, I think that's only going to make him angrier..." Madison said.

"Ramos's goons don't scare us," Jake said to him.

"I am Vexacus, and I work for no one. You all have ten seconds to move, or I'll move you." Vexacus threatened, as he pulled out his giant sword.

"Wow, that's a big sword." Tori remarked.

"Excuse me, but we're not moving anywhere, Dorkacus!" Cynthia snapped back.

"Is that really the best insult you could-oh jeez!" Tori was saying to Cynthia, when Vexacus launched another explosion.

The gang all attacked at once, as the four knights ganged up on him, but he dodged all their attacks like a ninja, kicking and punching them aside. He grabbed Jake's hands, twisting them, disarming his sword, and kicked him in the stomach, sending him flying into Cynthia. Cynthia was about to throw a rock at the bounty hunter, but it fell when Jake crashed into her, as they both fell on top of each other.

"Watch it, I was about to crush him!" Cynthia complained, as they both got back up.

"Sorry, this dude is tough!" Jake said.

Tori threw a splash of water at Vexacus, but he dodged it, as Cameron slashed his sword at him, but countered with his. He did a kick at Cameron, tripping him to the ground, as his sword went flying in the air. Vexacus grabbed it and used both swords to block Zero and Nick, sending them flying.

"This dude is good." Nick said.

Madison then launched a heart blast at him, but Vexacus pulled out his sword, absorbing it. The blast was reflecting on his sword, making everyone confused.

"How is that possible?!" Madison asked, as Audrey blew a gust at him, but he let go of the blast. It sent the blast back at all eight, which sent them flying.

"I don't have time to waste fighting children, my bounty is getting away!" Vexacus exclaimed, as he activated a device on his arm, as he disappeared in a teleportation.

"Not only is he a stacked warrior, but he's also a magician." Nick said.

"How did he absorb my blast?" Madison asked to Zero.

"I'm not sure, it's definitely a unique type of anti-magic sword, but I don't know where a common person would be able to get such material..." Zero wondered.

"He's more competent than half of Ramos's forces, so he's already a threat. He must be after that unicorn." Jake said.

"Speaking of which, where did it go?" Audrey asked, looking around the forest.

"Those sea unicorns can travel very far, so our odds of catching it are slim, especially with that hunter, but we must try to find it." Zero replied, as the eight went off into the woods.

Ramos is seen angrily walking through the Karmania forest around the Ancient Seal, as he saw some beat up soldiers on the ground.

"Alright Vexacus, come out. I know you're here!" Ramos yelled, as he pointed out his staff.

Vexacus then appeared out of a teleportation, standing in front of Ramos.

"What do you want?" Vexacus asked angrily.

"Just want to know what brings you to my little corner of Karmania. Besides, didn't I ban you from Posidonia?" Ramos questioned smugly.

"I'm a bounty hunter, and I'm closing in on my target!" Vexacus replied, as Ramos was interested in this.

"That target wouldn't happen to be a certain mythical sea unicorn now being pursued by the guardians, would it?" Ramos asked smugly.

"I don't have time to waste with a pompous overlord, now move it!" Vexacus replied, as he pushed Ramos and began walking. Ramos turned around angrily.

"LISTEN BOUNTY HUNTER! This is my dimension now, so unless you climb back into that there portal, and get your little shark fins out of my country!..." Ramos was threatening.

"I'm not leaving without the Karmanian unicorn!" Vexacus replied.

"Seems to me like you already missed that boat." Ramos replied, as Vexacus growled. "But perhaps I can help you...for old time's sake."

"I'm listening," Vexacus replied.

"I've been looking for a unicorn's magic. You also want the unicorn. I also want the guardians destroyed. Maybe we can do all three together?" Ramos offered.

"And after...I can leave with my prize?" Vexacus asked.

"Well...of course. Just get me some of that unicorn's magic, and you'll be off scot-free. I'll pardon you for all the rules you've broken, which is a lot. Let's see...you're not even legally allowed in my country...you went trespassing on my territory...and bounty hunting...and you attacked my soldiers...and I don't like you. So that's two, three...that's about five rules you've broken off the bat by just being here! But, if you can pull this off, I can forget that all happened." Ramos offered.

"Fine. Deal!" Vexacus said, as the two nodded and shook hands.

The two then walked away from each other.

"Hahaha, sucker!" Ramos laughed.

"Fool." Vexacus laughed.

At the castle, Elana is seen with Morgana in her room, looking out of a balcony.

"My room has a beautiful view of the garden below," Morgana replied.

"I can see it does. So uh, Morgana, how did you come here?" Elana asked.

"Well, one day, my parents disappeared, but Ramos took me in here!" Morgana replied a bit oddly.

"Your parents disappeared too? I know how that feels..." Elana said.

Skipper is seen sweeping through the hallways.

"Poor King Ramos is tied up. Imagine if some despicable and conniving Karmanian beast was to take advantage of that..." Skipper was saying, when a scorpion claw appeared over his mouth, and from behind, a purple scorpion Karmanian beast was seen.

"Despicable and conniving?" the creature asked, as Skipper gulped.

"Oh haha, hi there Skorpos...What brings you here?" Skipper asked.

"I heard King Ramos was "tied up", having to babysit a child now. Wouldn't this make an excellent time for a bold and ambitious beast to seize his throne?" Skorpos asked.

"Haha, you had me going there buddy, "seize the throne"," Skipper said, laughing at him, as Skorpos broke his broom in half with his claw.

"Cut the act butler, I know you have some dark magic! Give it to me, and I'll use it to defeat that fool!" Skorpos threatened.

"I don't think so buddy, the last time I gave someone dark magic, well...it didn't end well. How did you even get in here anyways?" Skipper asked.

"I let myself in. Now, you're going to help me dethrone Ramos..." Skorpos was saying, when Ramos walked by, as the two hid.

"You're a real idiot, do you want to be banished again?!" Skipper asked.

"Ramos doesn't have to know I'm here. Now, I'm going to destroy the guardians, and hopefully I can gain his trust again. If you tell anybody, you'll suffer the wrath of my poison..." Skorpos threatened, as his tail was ready to strike. He then walked off.

Back in the Karmanian forests, the heroes were searching for the sea unicorn.

"Come out come out wherever you are..." Nick whispered around. "Well, that's all I got."

"Yeah, I don't think that's going to work." Tori said.

"You try finding a sea unicorn," Cynthia said to her.

Zero scanned around, as he noticed a white liquid on the ground. He went to it and got a sample, putting it in a container.

"This appears to be sea unicorn blood. It may have been wounded, but it is leaving a small trail. This may lead us to the creature," Zero said.

"Blood? Well, I didn't need to know that." Cameron said, avoiding the trail of it on the ground.

"Times like this make me glad we can fly." Tori said.

They followed the trail, and arrived at a clearing with a pond. They saw the sea unicorn resting near it, and noticed the wound on its body.

"We have to help it!" Audrey said.

"Especially before shark dude returns," Nick added.

They approached closer toward it, as it turned around and was startled when it saw them.

"Don't run!" Madison pleaded, as the sea unicorn looked at the heart and stopped.

"I think it knows we're good." Jake said, as the sea unicorn floated to them, and made sounds in pain.

"Anyone know a unicorn medic?" Cynthia asked, looking at its wound.

"Tori's water powers could help heal it," Zero said.

"I can do that?" Tori asked.

"Yes, it is worth a shot," Zero replied.

"Alright, I've never touched a unicorn before, but..." Tori was saying, as she placed her hands on the wound, making water form over it.

The wound then healed up, as the sea unicorn felt better.

"Well what do you know, I can do that. Cool, now I know how to heal myself next time after I get an in-" Tori was saying, when another explosion came their way, as they dodged.

Vexacus appeared out of a teleportation, laughing.

"Surrender the unicorn!" Vexacus demanded.

"Not this guy again..." Cynthia said, as all eight protected the unicorn.

"Prepare to meet your dooms!" Skorpos yelled, as he appeared in the area, having his claws and tail ready to strike.

"Who is this?" Audrey asked.

"I don't know, but I'm really not in the mood to deal with this guy right now, since we already have him." Cameron said, looking at Vexacus.

"I'm the one who is going to seize Ramos's throne, and destroy all of you! Maybe I can start by getting that unicorn!" Skorpos bragged, as he threw his tail at them, as Zero sliced at it with his sword, leaving a mark.

"Fool, this is my bounty!" Vexacus yelled back, as Skorpos jumped in front of him.

"Oh yeah? What are you gonna do about it?" Skorpos asked, as he stung him with his tail, but it had no effect due to his armor.

"Metal." Vexacus said, smiling, as he grabbed Skorpos's tail, kicked him up, elbowed him, and punched him away, sending him splashing into the pond.

"WAAAHH!" Skorpos yelled.

"Now, no more distractions." Vexacus said, as he charged at all eight, and they attacked.

Cynthia made the ground rise around him and tried to trap him, but he disappeared using his gadget, as he teleported behind Cynthia in the air. He then kicked her in the back, as she went flying to the ground, as he went flying to the ground, clashing his sword with the knights. Madison blasted another heart blast at him, but he absorbed it with his sword, sending it flying back at her. He then jumped at the unicorn, but Audrey blew him away, as Tori surrounded herself and the unicorn with a water bubble. Vexacus got up and was about to pop it, but Cynthia threw a rock at him, sending him to the ground.

"Ha, didn't see that coming, Mr. Disappearing Shark!" Cynthia taunted.

"Is that what you really wanted to say?" Tori asked.

"No..." Cynthia sighed, as Zero was fighting.

"Be careful Zero, he is agile!" Jake warned.

Vexacus clashed swords and was evasive, as he punched him in the gut, and Zero dropped the unicorn blood from his belt, as Vexacus quickly grabbed it.

"No!" Zero yelled, as he and Cameron tried to attack, but he evaded both and grabbed both, throwing them to the side.

"Unicorn blood, eh? Maybe this wi-" Vexacus was saying, as Tori threw a wave of water at him, as he absorbed it with his sword, sending the flood back, but the sea unicorn sent a magical blast from its horn at Vexacus, as he fell to the ground.

"Thanks for the support!" Nick said, giving the thumbs up to the unicorn, as it floated off into the forests.

All eight cornered Vexacus and were ready to attack, but he laughed.

"Foolish children, I have what I came for." Vexacus said, as all eight attacked at once, but he disappeared using his gadget.

"Dangit, we almost had him!" Cameron said, as he was gone in the smoke.

"And he got away with the blood. What did he want it for?" Madison asked.

"Who knows. Regardless, at least the unicorn is safe again from Ramos," Zero said, as they were unaware on Vexacus's true intent.

"Fools, it's not over yet!" Skorpos said, laughing, as he jumped out of the lake and began attacking.

"Ugh, I forgot about this clown," Cameron said, clashing his sword with his claws.

He then noticed Audrey, as he quickly grabbed her with his tail, and was ready to poison her.

"I thought fighting the guardians would be MUCH more of a challenge! Soon, I will rule the world!" Skorpos bragged, laughing, Tori let out a wave of water at him, and Audrey was freed.

"You sure about that?" Madison asked, as she blasted him with the heart, and Cynthia made the ground he was standing on rise up.

"Wait no, this isn't fair!-" Skorpos yelled in panic.

Cynthia made the rock go flying off, as Skorpos screamed.

"AAAAHH!!!" Skorpos yelled.

"Yeah, I think that's enough bad guys for today." Tori said.

"He was too pathetic to use the scanner on anyways." Cameron said.

"Will we see him again?" Audrey asked.

"If we can see that ugly plant dude again, scorpion dude can also probably return one day, which made me just realize we never got his name. You know what, I'm just going to call him "scorpion dude". For now, I expect he'll have a not-so nice landing, with probably some fractured bones." Nick said cheerfully.

Skorpos is seen landing near the Ancient Seal, as he fell to the ground annoyed. The soldiers surrounded him and pointed their guns. The heroes went out of the portal they came in at, as Madison closed it. They transformed back to normal.

"I just wonder why that shark wanted the unicorn," Audrey wondered.

"Well, their horns are worth a lot on the Karmanian market, so I assume he was just doing it for his own goals. At least Ramos did not get the magic," Jake said.

"Can unicorn blood still power something like Elana's crown, theoretically?" Nick wondered, feeling uneasy.

"It theoretically could, but it would not be near as powerful as a unicorn's horn magic," Zero replied, as they went back to the dojo.

"Hey, wait a minute...grandma, you said catching a sea unicorn was frustrating, but it was pretty easy for us!" Audrey said to Mai.

"I just told you that to make you try harder. The scenarios were totally different. When we were chasing it, it wasn't in danger from a hunter. We just needed it for other purposes, but this one was in danger. It sought out the help of the guardians, and so, it helped you out," Mai explained.

"Why were you chasing it then?" Audrey asked.

"For sport. Chasing creatures was a sport between my friends back in the day." Mai replied happily, as the girls laughed.

"We should try that sometime," Tori suggested.

"Game on, I'd win!" Cynthia challenged.

"Alright, just to recap, a hunter got a sample of blood, but Ramos did not?" Ranen asked to everyone.

"Yes sir, the hunter claimed he worked alone, so I don't think we have anything to worry about." Cameron reported confidently.

At Ramos's throne room, Vexacus is seen delivering the blood.

"Not what I exactly had in mind, but it'll do. Can't believe I'm saying this, but...nice work, unfortunately. You are welcome back here and in Karmania, I give you a pass," Ramos said, sighing.

"Thank you, your highness." Vexacus said.

"Now scram! I have someone to punish..." Ramos said, as Vexacus walked off.

Skorpos is seen being forced into the room by two soldiers, and thrown to the ground.

"Skorpos, what should I do with you? I torture you, I banish you, and you STILL plot against me!" Ramos ranted.

"W-what are you saying, I'd nev-" Skorpos was saying.

"Skipper told me about your little scheme, you're not exactly a bright one I see," Ramos said, as Skipper taunted him.

"Hey now, I took on all eight of those stupid kids!" Skorpos bragged.

"You fell from the sky and cried like a baby, but okay," the soldier said snidely.

"Silence! Besides, it was all MY plan!" Skorpos bragged, as Ramos walked up and punched him in the face.

"YOUR PLAN?! Your plan was to steal my throne! You want a taste of power, boy? Skipper, show him what real power is!" Ramos demanded, as Skipper shot out a bolt of black electricity at Skorpos. He began to move uncontrollably and scream in pain.

"GAHHHH!!!!" Skorpos yelled.

"This is how I treat traitors like you!" Ramos said, as this made Van Gordon and Doyle nervous. "Now, take him to the dungeon so he can transform. I can't let Elana see such a hideous beast!"

The two soldiers took him away to the dungeon, keeping him contained with his uncontrollable movements. Elana then entered the room with Morgana.

"Oh Elana! How was your day with Morgana?" Ramos asked.

"Fun." Elana replied.

"I have a surprise for you. Give me your crown," Ramos said, as she did so. He rubbed the unicorn blood around it, as it began to glow. "It's nothing too big, but this will help control your powers more."

"When will I get to unleash more of powers?" Elana asked, taking the crown back.

"Hopefully tomorrow, now you should get a shower or something, true royalty needs a cleansing! I bet you haven't bathed in days!" Ramos said.

"Yeah, I have needed to wash away some of my problems..." Elana said.

"Morgana, show her to where the royal shower is. You two fools, guard her." Ramos said to Van Gordon and Doyle.

"That's kind of creepy-" Doyle was saying.

"You are her knights and must protect her at all times, like in the case if ugly monsters such as the scorpion come back, now go!" Ramos ordered, as the two walked off.

"Aye mate, I'm starting to dislike this daycare shtick we got goin' on..." Doyle whispered to Van Gordon.

"I agree, we the treasure hunters, not the babysitters!" Van Gordon replied.

Elana walks into a fancy bathroom, as she is wearing a white robe. Van Gordon and Doyle were standing in front of the shower.

"Hold this for me!" Elana said, laughing, as she handed Van Gordon her crown.

She entered behind the shower curtain, and threw off her robe from the top, which landed on Doyle.

"Sometimes I really hate this job." Doyle said, sighing, with the robe still on him. The shower began running, as Elana was singing.

Notes/Trivia

-Character Debuts: Vexacus, Morgana, Skorpos, and Sea Unicorn

-Skorpos is the second Karmanian beast to get away (though whether you see that as a good thing or bad thing with where he went is up to you).

-The first of the two key components of Elana's crown (unicorn magic) is obtained.

Well, yesterday's episode was bit mixed for me, as Cythina was quit the team where she missed Elana a lot, and came back to save her other friends as she realized something she do missed them. Also, wonder who that true evil could take the throne like Skorpos. i guess that's villain rivalry?  We'll see...

Anyways, i hope the gang got a plan somehow a rescue mission to save Elana.

Crawlies: B+

Bounty:  A+

Super episode here, I like how these new characters interest me about their background, like how I'm intrigued in seeing what exactly happened between Skorpos and Ramos beforehand and why Morgana is described as morbid when she was so happy around Elana. I would guess that she's just acting, but "morbid black-haired" makes me wonder if her hair just looks dead. xD

This concludes the premiere week. I'll hopefully go back to a weekly schedule after this.

16. Stakeout

Late at night, Zero is seen watching television in his apartment, as a report comes on about a scientist.

"Now on the scene, we're interviewing world famous scientist Dr. Darlene. Welcome back to Posidonia Fields, Mrs. Darlene. Any new discoveries you've made while around the world?" the reporter asked, as a female scientist is seen outside her home, as Zero overhears this.

"Darlene? She's back?" Zero asked.

"Why yes, I've made a lot of discoveries while traveling around! I've been making new breakthroughs in physics," Darlene replied happily.

"I've heard of your college resume, and you were at the top of your class with other famous people such as Professor Zero," the news reporter said.

"Yes, that is true. I have not talked to him in a long time, but hopefully he is still around," Darlene replied, as their interview continued about other scientific concepts.

"I haven't spoken to her in a long time, maybe I could give her a greeting. Her location isn't faraway from here. Of course, I don't know how logical it is to explain I am a scientist for a rebellion in another world..." Zero wondered.

"I'm also working on a powerful physic energy device. It's not ready yet, but I think it'd be very useful for an organization such as the Federation," Darlene said, as Zero gasped.

"Oh no, I have a bad feeling about this..." Zero said.

Zurtrax is also seen watching the same news report on Ramos's television. He then has a quick flashback of an explosion, but disregards it.

"She returns. Maybe I need to plan a reunion..." Zurtrax said.

"Still obsessed over Professor Zero?" Ramos asked, overhearing him.

"Sir, I have a way to lure the professor into a trap. This time, he will not see the light of day." Zurtrax replied confidently.

"For your sake, this plan better go better than your past few plans! I cannot have anymore screw-ups at this phase of my plan..." Ramos said.

"Of course, my king. I will do this on my own, and it will not affect your progress. This scientist could be useful to you, and she is working on a powerful machine that you could use for your army..." Zurtrax suggested.

"I suppose I could use more power to my army, so another brain wouldn't hurt. Go ahead and do it, but do it carefully. Now then, I have a girl to keep busy," Ramos replied, walking out of his room.

The next day, the girls and Jake are seen at school.

"So guys, don't forget, tomorrow is my 17th birthday!" Cynthia reminded.

"I'm pretty sure none of us were going to forget with how much you keep reminding us," Tori replied.

"I think you'll like my present...at least I hope so," Audrey said nervously.

"Are you having a party?" Jake asked.

"Three, actually. Tonight, my parents are holding an early one for just our house because tomorrow we'll be out eating. Then we have one on Friday for our relatives, and then one on Saturday for friends," Cynthia said.

"Three parties? Isn't that overkill?" Jake asked.

"Not to my parents," Cynthia replied.

"I thought your parents didn't allow anymore parties," Tori brought up.

"Exactly, so I need a good place to have my weekend party. Any suggestions?" Cynthia asked.

"Forget about doing it at my house again," Tori said.

"Mine is also out of the question," Madison said.

"Audrey? How about your grandma's restaurant?" Cynthia asked.

"She's not really one to hold birthday parties, but I could suggest it," Audrey replied, as Roxy walked up to the gang.

"Hey guys, do you know when Elana is coming back from her vacation?" Roxy asked, as all five seemed awkward.

"Uh, probably not for another week. Sorry," Madison lied.

"I see. It just seems weird she wouldn't tell me, but thanks," Roxy replied, as she went off to next class.

"We can't keep this up forever!" Tori whispered

"I know, but there's no other excuse we have. We'll have to roll with it until we can figure out a way to rescue her..." Madison said.

Later, school ends, as they all go to their respective homes. Madison goes upstairs in her room to see an annoyed Susan, cleaning up her messy room. She looks angry at Madison.

"Oh hey...mom," Madison greeted awkwardly.

"Your room is filthy! You need to take better care of this place, I can barely find anything!" Susan complained.

"I'm sorry, I've been very...busy," Madison lied.

"Save it. You've been running out and about an awful lot lately with your friends to do whatever you do. You aren't going anywhere until you clean up this room, and don't ask Jake for help!" Susan complained.

"Fine, mom..." Madison groaned, as Susan left and Madison got to work.

Jake then ran into the room.

"We have a problem...and jeez, this place is a mess!" Jake said.

"Don't remind me. What is it?" Madison asked.

"Zero needs our help," Jake said.

The two snuck out, without being seen by Henry and Susan. They were seen at Ranen's dojo with the others, as Zero seemed concerned.

"What's up, doc?" Tori asked.

"A lot is "up". An old colleague of mine, world famous Dr. Darlene, has returned to Posidonia Fields. However, she is building a device I have a strong suspicion the Federation may want from her. I fear her life could be in danger," Zero explained.

"So what's your game plan?" Cameron asked.

"Well, I discovered she is currently living right near where Elana's house is. I'll visit her just to catch up on old times, and while I do that, some of you could do a stakeout, making sure nothing happens to us. The others would be back-up." Zero offered.

"How long of a stakeout are we talking?" Jake asked.

"I dunno, could be 24 hours, maybe more. So whoever does it is going to have to stock up on a lot of food." Zero said. "So, who wants to volunteer?"

"Well, I can't because I have an early birthday party tonight, so that rules me out, right?" Cynthia replied.

"And since I get eye sickness from staring at things for too long, that also rules me out!" Nick replied.

"You never told me that before," Zero said to Nick.

"There's a lot of thing I've never told you guys, heh." Nick replied.

"Well, I can't because I have to clean up my room or else my mom is going to yell at me again," Madison said.

"My parents need me at the restaurant," Audrey said.

"I have...something. Probably, I dunno, maybe I need to watch my brother," Tori said.

"I can do it if they are too busy, doc," Cameron said to Zero.

"Actually, as a commander, I'd like to say who I feel is fit enough for the post. I choose Cynthia and Jake," Ranen chimed in, as both were confused.

"Wait...what? I mean, I'm honored, but also confused?" Jake asked curiously.

"Haha, real funny. So who is actually going with Jake?" Cynthia asked, confused.

"You are." Ranen replied.

"But I have an early birthday party tonight, and school tomorrow, well actually, I don't mind missing that part..." Cynthia said.

"Birthdays aren't as important as someone's life," Jake added.

"Fine, I'll do it..." Cynthia replied, somewhat annoyed.

"Hey, look on the bright side, at least it wasn't during tomorrow, which is your actual birthday, unless this stakeout takes longer than 24 hours, but I don't think it'd last past school time...would it?" Nick asked to Zero.

"Nick, I would hope not. Anyways, come with me you two," Zero said, as Jake and Cynthia went off.

"Well, I have a filthy room to clean, you two have fun!" Madison said, heading back to her house.

Madison entered quietly into her house and walked upstairs, to see Henry and Susan face to face.

"Uh oh," Madison said.

"Sneaking off again, eh? This isn't a healthy behavior for you." Susan was saying, as Madison interrupted.

"Mom, I can explain-" Madison was saying.

"Honey, we've given it a lot of thought...well actually, not a lot, and we've decided to ground you from seeing your friends tonight," Henry said, as Madison was shocked.

"But mom, I need to see them!" Madison said, thinking of Zero's situation.

"I doubt it's as important as cleaning that filthy room! Now, clean that mess up, and you're not leaving your room for the rest of the night," Susan ordered, as Madison groaned and went off to her room.

She angrily began picking stuff up and reorganizing her room, as she sat down on her bed and began texting her friends. Jake and Cynthia are seen walking with Zero to Elana's old house, as it was sundown.

"I still can't believe I have to do with this!" Cynthia complained to Jake.

"I'm sorry, I wasn't the one who chose you," Jake replied, shrugging.

"I had to tell my parents I'll be home late, I just hope evil strikes fast so I can defeat it and get back home, doc!" Cynthia said to Zero.

"I'm sorry Cynthia, but as Jake said, I had no agreement in this decision. I'm sure the commander had his reasons. You two can find a good spot in Elana's house to watch me at, I'll go greet my old friend," Zero said, as he went off to Darlene's house.

Cynthia and Jake entered Elana's old house, as they looked around.

"Man, this feels so creepy..." Jake said.

"Yeah, it's so empty. Oh man, I just got a text, and apparently your sister got grounded," Cynthia said, showing Jake Madison's text.

"Dang, let's hope we don't have a major threat then, because you girls need the heart to transform..." Jake said.

They went upstairs into Elana's room, as they found a perfect view from the window looking at Darlene's house.

"I think this room will do." Cynthia said, as she looked at Elana's dresser and saw a sketchbook, tempted to open it. "Huh, didn't know Elana liked to draw. I would look in, but she is still my friend, I don't want to violate her privacy..."

She then disregarded it, as Jake was looking out the window with binoculars.

Zero is seen ringing the doorbell.

"Alright, you haven't talked to her in about two years, I'm sure nothing will be awkward...at least I hope not," Zero said, as Darlene opened the door, surprised to see him.

"Professor? I didn't know you were still in the area, nice to see you again!" Darlene greeted.

"I saw you on the news and decided to pay a visit!" Zero greeted, as Jake saw their interaction.

"WHOA, the professor failed to mention the doctor is pretty attractive..." Jake said, checking Darlene out.

"What?! Let me see that!" Cynthia demanded, taking the binoculars. "Eh, she's not that attractive."

"Is someone jealous?" Jake asked, as this annoyed Cynthia.

"Don't get any ideas! I don't want to be stuck in this room with you! I mean, you're nice, but you're not my type!" Cynthia said back.

"I was just joking, but I get it. Alright, let the stakeout begin. I would hope Ramos isn't stupid enough to attack in public, but I've been wrong before..." Jake said.

"While you do that, I'm going to watch some tv," Cynthia said, as she lay on the bed and turned on Elana's tv, as it worked.

"Come inside, I'll prepare some snacks and I'll show what I've been up to!" Darlene said, as she let Zero in.

"I like what you've done with the place," Zero complimented, as he looked on the counter to see a photo of him, Darlene and another student at the academy they went to.

Back at Ramos's castle, Elana is seen walking around with Morgana in the garden.

"How are you liking your new surroundings?" Morgana asked.

"It's nice, at least I'm not lied to here..." Elana replied.

"Of course, everything the king says is the whole truth..." Morgana replied.

"But there's something I'm missing..." Elana said.

"What would that be?" Morgana asked.

"I don't think you'd understand, but I really liked drawing," Elana said.

"The castle has many beautiful attractions, you could draw those!" Morgana offered.

"Thanks, but I need something to draw on," Elana replied, as they visited Ramos on his throne.

"Ah, Elana! Ready to practice your powers again?" Ramos asked.

"Actually, first I had a request, but it might be kind of stupid..." Elana said, a bit embarrassed.

"No worries, we never deny a guest, even the most ridiculous request, m'lady," Skipper replied.

"Yes, yes, whatever it is you want, I'll get it!" Ramos replied.

"Well, back home I really liked drawing in my sketchbook, but I left that behind at my house..." Elana said.

"Not a problem! I'll have it obtained for you!" Ramos promised.

"Thank you, my king." Elana replied, as she went off with Morgana.

"You two fools, go to her house and get her sketchbook. You know what that is, right?" Ramos asked to the two stupid guards from "Resistant".

"D'ah okay, I think we do, boss!" the first one replied.

"Yeah, it's a book you sketch in!" the other said.

"Well, I suppose that's good enough. Here's the location of her house, go there and get it," Ramos said, handing it to them.

"We won't let you down, sir!" the first one saluted, as they ran off.

Ramos and Skipper then went down into the dungeon, as in cells contained some rebels (including the captured one from "Birthday"), Elana's parents, and they go to a cell to see Skorpos chained to the ground, still moving uncontrollably, with dark electricity shooting out of him.

"How is Skorpos's punishment coming along?" Ramos asked to Skipper.

"His transformation is almost complete, he's about to transform into a super powerful Karmanian beast. He'll be under your full control," Skipper explained.

"Good. He wanted power, now he'll have so much, it'll destroy him! When it is complete, send him into Karmania, maybe we can distract the guardians from Zurtrax's plan," Ramos said, laughing.

"AAAAHH, DAGGGGHHH, GRAAHHH!!!" Skorpos was still yelling, as his body was transforming more.

"Shut up, you big baby." Skipper said.

Back at Madison's room, she finishes cleaning up her room, as she sits on her bed angrily.

"Cynthia has it easy compared to this. She might get to miss her pointless early birthday, but I'm locked in my room if the team needs help..." Madison said, sighing, as she looked out the window.

Back up at Elana's room, Jake is seen still watching the house, and Cynthia is watching tv, when the doorbell rings.

"Uh...did you invite someone over?" Jake asked.

"That might be the pizza I ordered!" Cynthia said, as she got up and ran down.

"Wait, when did you order pizza?!" Jake asked.

Cynthia is seen opening the front door, as a pizza delivery fish is seen holding a box.

"Here's your pizza ma'am," the pizza delivery fish said, as Cynthia paid. "Hey wait a minute, I've seen you before..."

"You have?" Cynthia asked.

"Yeah, you made me deliver pizza to your parties at the Hartnet residence! I'm Randy," Randy said, pointing to his name-tag.

"Oh, that's nice..." Cynthia said, somewhat uncaring.

"Why are you here?-" Randy was asking, as Cynthia gave him a tip.

"Having a special party here, now keep the tip!" Cynthia said.

"Can't argue with that, have a nice day!" Randy replied, getting in his boat-mobile and driving off.

Cynthia went back upstairs, eating from the pizza.

"You going to share any?" Jake asked.

"Of course, I'm not that greedy!" Cynthia said, as she handed Jake a slice.

"Thanks," Jake said.

Back outside, the two stupid soldiers are seen approaching Elana's house.

"This is the place, right?!" the second soldier asked, looking at the number.

"I think it is!" the first replied, comparing Ramos's information with the house address.

"Let's make sure nobody is home first before we do a search," the second soldier suggested.

"Good idea," the first one replied, as he rang the doorbell.

"Who is it now?" Cynthia asked annoyed, as Jake was still looking at Darlene's house.

"D'oh, I hope the house isn't empty! Let's try again!" the second soldier said, ringing it more times, waiting for replies, while the constant ringing annoyed Jake and Cynthia.

"I swear, some people are rude! I'm coming, just no more of that obnoxious sound!" Cynthia complained, as she opened the door while one of the guards rung the doorbell again.

"Hello!" one of them greeted, as Cynthia gasped when she saw they were Federation soldiers.

"Uh....hello, what brings you two here?" Cynthia asked.

"We're here to find some book you sketch in!-" one of them was saying, when the second guard interrupted.

"Should we really tell her?" the second guard asked, trying to whisper.

"I dunno man, this is a top secret mission..." the first guard replied.

"You know, I can hear you two. What do you want, before I shut the door!?" Cynthia asked annoyingly.

"Oh uh, we're here to obtain a sketchbook for top secretly secret reasons! Seen one around?" the second soldier asked, as Cynthia thought about the sketchbook she saw from earlier.

"No, I think you have the wrong address," Cynthia replied, as the two scratched their heads.

"Well, okay. Have a nice day!" the first soldier replied, as the two ran off.

"Haha, I need to text this to Maddie. What morons," Cynthia said, laughing, as she closed the door and went back up.

Zero is seen still inside talking to Darlene, as they were eating food at her table.

"So yes, I've just been freelancing around, helping people in need," Zero said to her.

"That's sweet! It must pay a lot!" Darlene replied, as Zero seemed nervous.

"There's something I need to tell you though, I fear you may be in grave danger..." Zero was saying, as Darlene was confused.

"What are you saying?" Darlene asked.

"I have suspicions that some evil people may want the device you are working on for the wrong purposes," Zero told her, as he looked out the window suspiciously, and it was getting dark out.

Zurtrax is seen on a rooftop at night, as Broodwing hangs upside-down from a water tower rod.

"Need my help? I thought you were doing this mission solo?" Broodwing asked.

"I am doing it solo, for my personal revenge part. I need your help in the distraction part for when the portal opens and those guardians go investigate. Ramos is sending a beast to cause some mayhem in Karmania, but it could use some assistance. Those new Slayers you have would be useful, since your one last time gave them quite the struggle." Zurtrax offered.

"Of course, just at a price. These spike-headed Slayers are the most powerful for a reason, I don't throw them away to any fool," Broodwing said, holding out his hand, as Zurtrax handed him cash. "Excellent."

Skorpos in his new mutated form is seen coming in through the Ancient Seal, as he growled viciously and made other noises. The guards are seen shocking it, as they direct it into the slum village ahead. He lets out a roar and shoots poison out of his shoulders, which now looked like cannons, as the villagers ran in fear, with the poison melting through the ground or on buildings. Diggy looked out of his trailer to see this.

"Whoa, I'm not sticking around in this! See ya!" Diggy yelled, as he quickly ran off.

As Skorpos kept attacking, Diggy made a run for it, and saw a portal ahead open.

"My ticket out of this dump! I haven't visited the other side in a while, let's see what they got..." Diggy was saying, as he ran through and ended up outside in the back of Elana's house. His nose then smelled the aroma of Cynthia's pizza from an open window.

"Now, what is that I smell? Smells like...food...good Posidonia food! Nose, take me to it!" Diggy ordered, as he walked up to the house.

Back at Madison's room, she is seen bored, sitting on her bed still, when she feels the heart glow.

"Oh no, not now. But I have a duty to do..." Madison sighed, as she looked out her room's window.

Madison then texted the girls a portal opened, as they all got it. Audrey is seen cleaning up around the Golden Seahorse.

"So, yay or nay on a birthday party for Cynthia here?" Audrey asked to Mai.

"If it gets me customers, sure," Mai replied, when Audrey read Madison's text, saying "heart is glowing get 2 gether with tor".

"We have a situation," Audrey said, showing it to Mai.

"Go." Mai said.

Cynthia received Madison's text, as Jake is still spying.

"Looks like a portal opened, but I'm stuck here, so..." Cynthia said, when Jake got a contact from Ranen.

"Oh no, it looks like something is attacking the slum village! But Zero..." Jake was saying.

"I'm sure the others can handle it...hopefully," Cynthia said nervously.

"Hey friends, got some of your delicacy to spare?" Diggy asked, as he entered into the room, and Cynthia screamed.

"What are you doing here, Diggy?!" Jake asked.

"Well, a crazy creature attacked my home, a portal opened, and I smelled food, so put three variables together, and I'm here! What's going on here, did you two move in or something?" Diggy asked to Cynthia and Jake, as they felt embarrassed.

"We're not doing what you think we're doing!" Jake reassured.

"Alrighty then. Anyways, got any leftovers, sweetheart?" Diggy asked to Cynthia, referring to the pizza box.

"Fine, just don't take the whole thing!" Cynthia replied, as Diggy chowed in.

"Wait, where did the portal open?" Jake asked to Diggy.

"Behind the house," Diggy replied, as Jake told this to the other knights.

Madison is seen opening her room's window, and gulped as she looked at the jump below.

"This is going to be the dumbest thing I've ever done," Madison said, as she jumped out, hanging onto a tree branch, and dropped below on her feet.

"Okay, that was a lot less scary than I thought. Now, to get the others!" Madison said.

Zero is still seen talking to Darlene, when his communicator gets a message.

"Who is that?" Darlene asked.

"Just a friend. But yes, I fear you are in danger. Who knows when they'll come..." Zero said, as he kept looking out the window.

"How do you even know I am in danger?" Darlene asked.

Jake kept watching, as he saw Zurtrax approach the house.

"Oh no, doc!" Jake said on the communicator. "He's here."

"Well, the truth is...you don't know the Federation at all-" Zero was saying, when a familiar voice interrupted him.

"Or maybe you don't know the professor at all," Zurtrax said, stepping inside.

"W-wh-who are you?" Darlene asked nervously.

"Zurtrax is here. Don't worry about me, go handle what is in the portal..." Zero said to the other knights.

Diggy is seen silently leaving the room, as he took the rest of the pizza box and left.

"Zurtrax is across the street, but Zero wants us to go in the portal..." Jake said.

"We can't leave those two with him!" Cynthia said, as she grabbed Elena's sketchbook and noticed the missing pizza box. "That mole took the pizza! Ugh, forget him, we have to help Zero!"

"But we can't just let Zero fight him alone..." Jake said, unsure of what to do, when Madison, Tori, Audrey and the other knights were seen running down the street.

"You jumped from your room? Impressive," Tori remarked.

Jake and Cynthia ran out of the house, as they met up with the rest.

"So, I'm putting it to a vote that we barge in and save the doc. Who is in favor?" Nick asked.

"Let's just split up. The rest of you can go to the portal behind Elana's house, I'll help Zero," Jake said to them.

"You sure?" Cynthia asked.

"Yeah, you deserve to be with your friends for your early birthday, and plus, your powers would weaken. You'll need it," Jake replied, as Audrey, Tori, Cameron, Cynthia, Madison and Nick went off into the portal, while Jake went into Darlene's house to see the scene.

"Who is this?" Darlene asked.

"I told you I had this handled..." Zero was saying to Jake, as Zurtrax turned around.

Zurtrax then let out a powerful electric blast at Jake, sending him flying back into the lawn, as the door broke open.

"My property!" Darlene yelled, as Zurtrax pointed a sword to Zero.

"Now then, Professor. You wouldn't want me to harm her, would you?" Zurtrax asked.

"Look Zurtrax, this is going too far," Zero said.

"Maybe you should show her your true form," Zurtrax said.

Zero then transformed into his knight outfit, as Jake did so, with both entering in.

"Okay, someone tell me what is going on? I am very close to calling the police!" Darlene threatened, as Zurtrax cut through her house phone. "Or not."

"I'm really getting sick of meeting up like this. I just wish you'd tell me what it is you have against me," Zero questioned to Zurtrax.

"Does the name Tristan Smith mean anything to you?" Zurtrax asked, as Zero and Darlene recognized the name, and Zero remembered the photo he saw on Darlene's counter.

"...Smitty? Is that really you?" Darlene asked.

"Who?" Jake asked.

"Smitty? But I thought you were lost in that accident..." Zero said.

"I was on the verge of a breakthrough, until one day, it all went wrong..." Zurtrax revealed, as a flashback shows the fish named Smitty in a lab, experimenting with deadly chemicals. He was picking a tube up, when he accidentally dropped it and gasped, as it caused a giant explosion in his lab, sending his body flying to the ground. From the flames and debris, his body is on the ground, when a soldier grabs his hand. "Ramos and the Federation found me and put me back together. They're geniuses at cybernetic reconstruction. So we're both cyborgs now."

"Cyborg?" Darlene asked to Zero.

"I'll explain more later. Oh man, Smitty..." Zero was saying, when Zurtrax attacked at once, sending slices through the table and grabbed Zero and Jake.

"Smitty, why are you doing this? You could've helped so many people!" Darlene begged.

"The Professor took everything I had at the university when he came along. He took you, my ranking, and everything!" Zurtrax revealed.

"What are you talking about? We're just colleagues!" Zero said, as Jake was trying to break free.

"Now, you're coming with me, and you will use your new device for Ramos," Zurtrax ordered to Darlene.

"I don't think so!" Darlene yelled, as she threw a chair at him, letting Jake and Cameron go, as they kept fighting.

At the slum village, the gang arrives to see Skorpos terrorizing the area.

"That ugly thing looks really familiar, and I don't know why..." Nick was pondering.

"Hey, wait a minute, that's that scorpion creature we faced!" Audrey said, recognizing it.

"He looks even uglier, if that's possible," Tori remarked.

"I guess I was too nice letting you off last time, buddy. Surrender now!" Cameron yelled, as Skorpos just shot poison blasts at them.

"You are not going to ruin my birthday!" Cynthia yelled, as she made rocks rise around him, trapping him, but he melted through it with poison.

He then threw out two orange spikes from his claws, forming two orange spike-headed Slayers, as they were in position.

"Ugh, not these things again!" Madison said, throwing a heart blast at one, but it deflected it with its sword.

"No worries, we're ready for a rematch...I hope!" Cameron said.

The two orange Slayers threw electric blasts from their swords at once, as the gang scattered.

"Remember, if we combine our strength, we might be able to defeat these things!" Audrey reminded, as Cynthia threw rocks at the orange Slayers, and they cut through, but Tori let out water blasts at them, as Audrey blew on it, making the wind travel through the water blast and freeze onto the Slayer. It tried to break the ice off, but Cameron attacked it, sending it flying to the ground, as he also fought off Skorpos.

Cynthia made a large boulder rise up and she threw it down onto the orange Slayer, but it tried picking the boulder up.

"These robots really don't give up, do they?" Nick asked, as he fought off the other, and Madison launched a heart blast at the one picking up the boulder, as it fell and was crushed by it, making it explode.

"Take that!" Cynthia mocked, as Tori threw water slashes at the other, and Audrey blew sand onto it, blinding its view, as Cameron sliced through it, as it was sent flying into Skorpos, exploding, as he fell to the ground.

He tried letting out more poison blasts, as one got on Nick's sword, but it had no effect due to the metal.

"Ha, metal beats poison!" Nick yelled, as he slashed at the beast, and Madison launched another heart blast, sending it to the ground.

"Alright, time to put this freak away for good!" Cameron said, as he judged it. The scanner marked him "Guilty", as Madison let out a blast at the containment, sending it flying at Skorpos, keeping it trapped there.

"This guy is awfully quieter than the last time we met. Probably for the best though," Tori remarked.

"Alright, let's get back!" Madison ordered, as they went through and closed the portal.

Back inside Darlene's house, Jake and Zero were still fighting off Zurtrax, as he was slicing everywhere, and they clashed swords.

"I have an idea," Darlene whispered to Zero.

Zero then got in front of a wall, as Zurtrax sliced at him, but he quickly dodged. The blast went striking into the wall, breaking open a pipe and sending a high burst of water at Zurtrax, blasting him onto the lawn. The other heroes cornered him, seeing him on the ground, as Zero, Nick and Darlene got out.

"Darlene, these are uh...my friends," Zero introduced.

"You have a lot of explaining to do, professor," Darlene said, seeing the girls flying.

"Well, so much for this being secret," Tori said.

"Yeah, I didn't really have a choice there," Zero said.

"It's over dude," Jake said, pointing his sword to Zurtrax.

Zurtrax knew he was outnumbered, so he growled and let out an electric blast, sending them flying a bit. He then escaped into the night, as Jake was about to chase after, but Zero stopped him.

"Let him go, it's late as is. Cynthia also has an early birthday to attend," Zero said, as they all powered down.

"You know what, I think I don't mind missing an early birthday. It's not like it's my real birthday. Besides, I spent it with you guys, and that's all that matters," Cynthia said, smiling. "But I do expect presents from all of you."

"And my parents are expecting me back in my room grounded, so let's get this over with," Madison said.

"Promise not to tell?" Zero asked to Darlene.

"I'd keep any promise for a friend," Darlene replied, as Zero told Darlene the whole truth.

"Fascinating, so you're half cyborg, and there's another dimension in a punched hole in this land, which you are all protectors of it?" Darlene asked.

"Pretty much," Tori replied.

"You're still the same to me, professor, even with the robotics built in. If you ever need help, I'll be here. And maybe you can help me fix this place up!" Darlene said, as they said farewell.

Back at the dojo, Zero tells the gang who Zurtrax really is.

"Wow, that's messed up..." Audrey said, feeling bad.

"Smitty used to be friends with Darlene and I at the academy, but he grew bitter and jealous of me when I was surpassing his work. I never thought he'd go this far for revenge, however. He got into an accident sometime after I left Ramos's forces, and I assumed he perished. I assumed wrong," Zero said.

"That's like if your best friend got into freak accident, and then they came back to life as a super cyborg...except, I wouldn't say friend. That must really be awkward," Nick corrected.

"This is most unfortunate, but at least a new ally formed out of your friend's ashes," Ranen said.

"So commander, why did you pair me and Jake together?" Cynthia asked.

"Because, you two had the least going on, especially since I know Madison is grounded right now," Ranen said, as Madison felt embarrassed.

"Yeah, I should get going," Madison said.

"Wait, before you go, I'd like to deliver something with the heart. I'll be quick..." Cynthia said.

Elana is seen in her room on her bed reading a book, when her sketchbook is thrown in through the window. She gets up and looks out to see nobody there. She picks up the sketchbook and sees the first page with a face resembling Cynthia's.

Cynthia hands the heart back to Madison, as they all call it a night. Madison goes back home with Jake.

"Need help sneaking in?" Jake asked.

"If I can jump out, I can probably get back in," Madison replied.

Susan checks in on Madison's room, as she sees Madison sleeping. She smiles and closes the door. Cynthia goes home to see her parents and Julia wishing her an early happy birthday, as they had cake.

Zurtrax is seen reporting to Ramos.

"Sir, I apologize. Skorpos was captured and Professor Zero got away. I failed." Zurtrax said, bowing to Ramos.

"Well, that's not really a surprise, yet again. You know what the problem is with you? No competition. That is, up until now..." Ramos replied.

"My king, I don't understand-" Zurtrax was saying, when Vexacus walked into the room, pushing Zurtrax out of the way.

"Out of my way!" Vexacus demanded, as he laughed.

"Say hello to your new boss. He is now my 2nd in command. You're now in 3rd. I hope that's basic math." Ramos replied.

"WHAT?!" Zurtrax yelled in disbelief.

"Aww, how tragic." Morgana taunted to Zurtrax.

"The new guy gets it before us?" Doyle asked, a bit jealous.

"Hi!" Van Gordon greeted to Vexacus, waving, but he just ignored him.

"...But sir, I thought you hated each other." Zurtrax pointed out.

"We did, but as the wheel of life continues to spin, I have to throw grudges out of the slots...or something like that, I dunno, does that sound philosophical enough? Vexacus was able to get my unicorn blood, and he's a free bounty hunter, so no money off my bones! Maybe getting knocked down a position will stop making you think of revenge plans on Professor Zero all the time that end half-baked!" Ramos explained.

"Of course, sir. I'll try to improve under this new general..." Zurtrax said bitterly.

"Thank you, my king. I promise I'll be a great help to your army and plans..." Vexacus said eerily.

That reference made my night. xD I also loved seeing Jake and Cynthia paired together and how we finally found out who Zurtrax really is. The only thing that underwhelmed me was the reason Ranen gave for putting Jake and Cynthia together...

Liar. We all know that he ships them together. :smirk:

Great episode! I liked getting more backstory on Zero and Zurtrax. Darlene also seems pretty cool. She now knows the truth about everything, but it seems she'll be a potentially good ally for the team when they may be in need. I also liked that one part during the stakeout where Diggy comes in and Jake's like "we're not doing what you think we're doing!" :P .

17. Teamwork

The girls and Jake are seen at school, as Cynthia felt proud it was her 17th birthday.

"Thanks for all the birthday wishes everyone! I can't have a party though, since relatives are coming over tonight, and then I have to go out tomorrow for dinner..." Cynthia said, after they all wished her happy birthday.

"You're welcome, I think you'll like my gift!" Audrey insisted, as Roxy walked up to them.

"Happy birthday girl!" Roxy said, as she handed Cynthia a wrapped present.

"Aww, thanks. How sweet, handing it to me in person?" Cynthia asked.

"Yeah, since you aren't having a party. It's too bad Elana isn't here to celebrate," Roxy said.

"Haha...yeah, but I'm sure she'll have a late present for me," Cynthia said awkwardly.

"Well, see you at the dance tomorrow if you're going!" Roxy said, waving bye to them.

"Wait...dance? Oh man, I forgot about that!" Cynthia said, as they noticed many "Back to school dance" posters were all over the hallways and lockers, saying "from 7pm to 10pm".

"Is it bad I almost forgot about that too?" Madison asked.

"I would've if it wasn't for these obnoxious advertisements, seriously, who puts one on a locker?!" Tori complained, as she tore the poster off of her locker and entered her combo.

"Too bad I don't have a date for it..." Audrey said, a bit disappointed.

"Hey, we don't need dates! We can just hang out as friends, it is my birthday weekend after all," Cynthia said, trying to cheer them up. "Anyways, I need to  get the perfect dress for the dance, and it's a good thing today is my birthday, as I can get whatever!"

"I wonder if Trent has a date..." Madison asked to herself, but the others heard.

"Oh, I see what you're wondering..." Tori taunted, as Madison blushed.

"I was just curious!" Madison insisted.

"Sure you were, just ask him already!" Audrey said.

"Aren't guys supposed to ask girls to these things, or I am way behind on times?" Jake asked.

"Girls can ask whoever they want. Unless you're someone like him," Tori replied, pointing to Johnny who was waving to Tori from a distance.

"I'll think about it. I don't know if we even will be able to go, considering what guardian stuff could interrupt the dance..." Madison said, as the others seemed worried.

At Ramos's castle, Ramos is seen introducing Vexacus to Elana.

"Miss Elana, let me introduce you to another new knight, Sir Vexacus! He is now the main commander!" Ramos said, as Zurtrax, Van Gordon and Doyle were annoyed off to the sides.

"Hello girl..." Vexacus said eerily, as Elana felt a bit creeped out, but shrugged it off.

"Hi there! So Ramos, when will my powers become stronger?" Elana asked.

"When my men find the next ingredient to your wonderful crown. Here is a new power I can teach you until then. Do this!" Ramos said, as he stood up on the throne and waved his hands in the air.

"This?" Elana asked, as she waved, and a green bubble appeared around her, as the crown glowed. "Whoa, what is this?!"

"It is a shield to protect yourself from any irritating pests or danger!" Ramos said, as Elana waved again and it disappeared.

"Wow, thanks so much for this! I can't wait to unlock my full power!" Elana said.

"Heh, neither can I..." Ramos said, laughing quietly.

"Thank you for your time, my king," Elana said, as she went off to her room.

"Alright gentlemen, Vexacus is our new #1 general, so he will be the brains behind all of our plans from now on. Now, got any ideas on how to destroy the guardians?" Ramos asked.

"I just got here, you can't be expecting me to think of one!" Vexacus replied, annoyed.

"Fine fine, anyone ELSE have an idea?" Ramos asked, as Morgana creepily walked into the room, whistling.

"I might have one...follow me..." Morgana said in an odd tone.

Ramos and the others were confused, as they followed Morgana into her room. It was very creepy, as she had ripped up dolls everywhere. They then noticed a toy table with toy chairs around it, with dolls sitting on them. Skipper was pouring tea into the toy cups.

"I don't likes look of this." Van Gordon said.

"What is the meaning of this?!" Ramos asked.

"It's a tea party. I'll tell you the plan if you all have tea with me and my friends..." Morgana said, smiling, as they all laughed.

"Hahaha! I am the king of Posidonia, the ruler of-" Ramos was saying.

"Yeah yeah, the ruler of the Federation army, blah blah, the conquerer of Karmania, blah blah! Do you want me to tell you my plan or not?" Morgana asked, as Ramos pointed his staff at her.

"Morgana, this gift I have given you...this new life I have given you, it can be taken away easily. I can put you back where I found you, and the way I found you, at my command!" Ramos threatened, as she seemed nervous.

"Okay okay! But who is going to have tea with me?" Morgana asked.

"We all will then!" Ramos ordered, as they groaned.

"I'm a grown man, not a man-child, lassie!" Doyle replied.

"This is childish, I'll just think of my own plan-" Vexacus was saying, about to leave the room, as Ramos slammed the door shut.

"You will all sit. She has a plan, and this is the only way to get it." Ramos threatened.

Skipper, Vexacus, Zurtrax, Van Gordon and Doyle all sat down, as they annoyingly tried drinking their tea.

"This is humiliating, first I lose my position, now I have to play with a child." Zurtrax said.

"That's not my fault your plans were terrible." Morgana taunted, as Zurtrax looked at her angrily.

"Now, what is your idea?" Ramos asked, standing.

"You need to sit!" Morgana replied, as Ramos angrily sat down next to her in another toy chair, as they all laughed.

"I'd be pretty embarrassed if I were you right now, mate," Doyle said, laughing, as Ramos looked at them angrily, and they stopped.

"Tea not bad for child party," Van Gordon said.

"Well, I did make it after all," Skipper said.

"Alright, now, what is your "marvelous" idea, brat?" Vexacus asked to Morgana.

"I can't say yet, we need one more person to complete the party..." Morgana said, as they noticed an empty chair.

Broodwing then flew into the room from an open window, as he landed and saw the scene.

"I'm not even going to ask." Broodwing said.

"Yes, Broodwing..." Morgana said, smiling.

"Silence child! I have business with Ramos!" Broodwing said.

"And I have a plan for Ramos, but if you don't have tea with us, I'm not telling!" Morgana said.

"Oh well, fine with me-" Broodwing replied, about to leave, as Ramos got up and grabbed him.

"But not with me. Now sit, Broodwing." Ramos ordered.

"I'm sitting..." Broodwing said regrettably, as he sat down.

"Good Broodwing. Okay, Ramos is the daddy, I'll be the mommy, Skipper is the uncle. The two hunters, cyborg face, and shark face can be our children, and Broodwing is our new baby... batfish." Morgana said, as Ramos, Broodwing and the others all groaned.

"So then, I was thinking...you're not drinking your tea, Broodwing..." Morgana pointed out angrily.

"I'm not thirsty!" Broodwing replied.

"DRINK IT!!!!" Ramos yelled, getting up and slamming his fist on the table.

"Okay, okay, I'm drinking! See? Mhmm! Mhmm?" Broodwing said, as the cup of tea kept clashing against the glass tube around his head, as the tea spilled over the glass, while Morgana laughed.

"Humiliating you all is too funny. But for real now. Broodwing can get all the monsters he knows, and we send an onslaught of them against the mighty heroes. Send so many to cause mayhem, it'll overwhelm them. After they get so tired, send one final powerful beast to break their bones!" Morgana said cheerfully.

"That's...actually not a bad idea. See this, fools? Take ideas from her!" Ramos said.

"You know, it's pretty embarrassing you had to get an idea from a child." Doyle said.

"I could've thought of that!" Vexacus replied, getting up angrily.

"Well then, you should've thought of it sooner! Now, let's have a monsterpalooza!" Ramos said, laughing.

Back at school, the last bell rang for the day, as everyone was excited for the weekend. As Madison was walking out, she approached Trent, as he turned around to see her.

"Oh hey Maddie," Trent greeted.

"Hey dude, how has life been?" Madison asked nervously.

"Fine. So uh, I was wondering, I don't really have anyone to go with, but maybe you could be my dance for the school dance tomorrow?" Trent offered.

"SURE! I mean, sure!" Madison replied, excitedly.

"Great, I'll be there when it starts! See you tomorrow!" Trent said, as he walked off, waving bye to her.

"Hey what do you know, you didn't need to ask at all." Tori said, as the girls and Jake walked up to her after overhearing the scenario.

The girls and knights are seen meeting up at the Golden Seahorse.

"So, we need to have a group discussion. How are we going to rescue Elana?" Cameron asked.

"Good question. I'll answer when the castle isn't filled with guards and whatever other traps Ramos probably has there." Tori replied.

"Snarkiness aside, she has a point. Ramos's castle is probably heavily guarded, and what would he do to us if we're captured?" Jake asked.

"Well, he didn't do much with me when I was, but then again I had dumb luck that day. I doubt we'll be that lucky again," Madison replied.

"Ramos is still most likely teaching Elana how to charge her powers. He just needs the gemstone to complete her crown. Then, he will have what he needs to fully power her up, and use her to conquer every Karmanian kingdom." Mai explained.

"Where can we find this gemstone?" Audrey asked.

"That's the problem. I don't know. It could be anywhere underground in Karmania, I'm afraid..." Mai replied.

"No problem, I could just use my earth powers to dig through the entire land!" Cynthia said.

"That won't work, it would tire you out very easily. Even though Elana is in danger, Ramos would not harm her right away. We have to find the right time to get her before it is too late." Mai replied.

"Well, this weekend is not a good time to deal with any Karmanian issues, because Cynthia has her birthday today, and the school dance is tomorrow night." Madison said.

"Oh right, happy birthday Cynthia, here's a present from the bottom of my heart!" Nick said, as he handed her a watch. "This is my grandmother's old watch, and since it is my grandmother's, you can tell it is pretty old if that wasn't obvious enough!"

"Wow, this is kind of nice! Thanks!" Cynthia said, while Zero seemed upset.

"Is everything okay, doc?" Cameron asked.

"Yeah, it's nothing. I'm just upset that Smitty has joined Ramos. I thought he was gone for so long, but now he wants revenge," Zero said.

"Smitty was blinded by hate, and just wanted power based on your description. Ramos had power, so he joined him. He clearly did not care for anyone else to begin with, not even your friend," Ranen said.

"Forget that loser. We're your true friends, dude." Tori said, as Zero smiled.

Broodwing is then seen at a shady part of the Central Karmania Bazaar behind a building, as he is in front of four Karmanian beasts.

"Gentlemen, thank you for taking up my offer. A brat...I mean, the king, has come up with a plan to crush the guardians' spirits. We'll launch multiple attacks on the land one at a time, and they'll be worn out. Now then, I have weapons, robots, potions, whatever you desire, just pay up and they will be yours." Broodwing offered.

"What's in it for us?" a crab creature asked, named Klobster.

"Yeah, I'm not going to be bait if I ain't getting nothing in return! I don't wanna be imprisoned!" a centipede creature complained, name Scalipede.

"You get to keep all these powerful weapons, you'd be honored by the king, and you can get so much money." Broodwing offered.

"Uhh, I don't have much money, but I got some coins!" a blue creature said, which was the same one from "Cyborg" with the bubble wand, named Boboo.

"Wait, so...the mercenary is hiring us as mercenaries to beat a bunch of kids up, so we can pay for his stuff, and he'll pay us the money back if we succeed? That doesn't make any sense!" the fourth creature complained, who was a frog creature named Toady.

"I never said I was paying you my money back, fools! But with all your power, you can take anything..." Broodwing said.

"Now we're getting somewhere. I'll take everything you got." Scalipede said, as all four laughed.

"Excellent. We'll start off easy to get their guard down, so you'd be good dead weight for the first strike tomorrow, bubbles." Broodwing said to Boboo, who was blowing bubbles.

"Dead weight? Is that the best position?!" Boboo asked, excited.

"Yes, you get to wear them down the most, big boy!" Klobster lied to him.

The next morning, Madison is seen waking up, as did Jake. They head downstairs to see Susan holding out a blue dress for Madison.

"Morning Maddie, here's a beautiful dress for your dance tonight! Try it on!" Susan said, as Madison did so and came out in it.

"Wow, this is nice. Thanks, mom." Madison said, checking herself out.

"Yeah, you look nice." Jake complimented.

"We picked out the best dress to suit you!" Henry said.

As Madison got changed, she came out and noticed the heart was glowing. She pulled out the map and hovered over it, as it showed a new x.

"Looks like we got a portal to seal. Hopefully nothing bad is happening..." Madison was saying to Jake.

"Something bad is happening." Jake said, reading Zero's communication.

"Yeah, I probably should've seen that coming." Madison replied, sighing.

The girls and knights met up at Ranen's dojo.

"Today is not a good day for Karmania problems," Cynthia complained.

"Sorry, but it appears we have an attack. A creature is terrorizing the Bazaar, and is...blowing bubbles, what?" Zero asked, reading the report from a rebel.

Everyone just stood there and began laughing.

"You're joking, right?" Tori asked.

"No. I could not make this up if I tried." Zero replied.

"That sounds weirdly cute in a way. Let's pop them!" Audrey said, laughing.

"Don't get too overconfident in yourselves. Something about this seems off to me..." Ranen said.

"It could just be a really incompetent beast, commander." Cameron said, as Tori kept laughing.

"Bubbles? Really, bubbles?! What is he going to do, trap us inside of them?" Tori asked.

"That'd actually be pretty cool to be trapped inside of a bubble. Maybe the bubbles are secretly explosive bubbles...okay, now that doesn't sound so cool," Nick wondered.

"I trapped a creature inside a bubble before...and it exploded." Audrey said embarrassingly, referring to Paint Skater.

The eight are seen approaching the portal in the park forest.

"I'm getting kind of tired of this whole walk to a portal thing. If we had our boating licenses, it'd be so much easier!" Cynthia said.

"Yeah, but we can't get our permit here until we're 19, for some reason. Thanks Ramos!" Madison said.

"I have my license, since I'm 22, and that's past the legal age to get one, but my boat-mobile's a truck, so it can only fit two people, so that wouldn't really help your problem at all. And in fact, what I am telling you is pretty irrelevant now that I think about it." Nick was blabbing, as the others went into the portal. "Hey guys, wait up!"

The eight come to the Bazaar, as they see Boboo blowing bubbles through his wand, and had Federation gun in the other hand. Some were running away, while others just stood there completely confused.

"Aha, you must be the knights and guardians! I am the most dangerous beast you have ever faced, hence why they put me first in line!" Boboo bragged, blowing a bubble at the eight.

"Yeah, really scary. I'm shivering." Tori said.

"Wait...what do you mean, first in line?-" Cameron was asking, as Boboo aimed his gun at them and they were ready to strike.

"Alright, get ready to face my epic shooting skills! Get ready...it's coming...it's coming...." Boboo was saying, still aiming his gun at them, and kept shaking it, not being able to get them on target. He then fired, but accidentally hit a stand.

"Nice aim. I think that's enough of this clown." Madison said.

"I dunno, I was going to let him keep it up, it's kind of amusing." Tori said.

The eight then all transformed, as Boboo blew more bubbles at them.

"Ha, dodge those!" Boboo said, laughing.

Audrey then blew them back, as the bubbles were chasing after Boboo.

"AAAHHH!!!" Boboo yelled, dropping his gun and ran off. The bubbles popped around him and he fell. "HELP!"

"Wow, this is just sad." Cynthia said, as Jake picked him up.

"Now tell us, what did you mean by "first in line"?" Jake asked, holding out his scanner.

"Uhhh...first in line to try out my brand new bubble kit!" Boboo lied, pulling out another bottle of bubbles, taking the lid off, and throwing the soap at Jake, but it didn't do anything due to his helmet. "I was set up, I swear-"

"Likely story. You're still under arrest for attempted terrorism!" Jake said, scanning him, which read him "Guilty".

The containment unit was let out, as Madison let out a heart blast on it, trapping Boboo.

"Let me out!" Boboo yelled.

"Well, that's enough stupidity for one day." Tori said, when Zero got another alert.

"Uh oh, too soon to speak. We have another attack in progress, in the woods north of here," Zero said.

"Hopefully this one is an actual challenge." Cameron said.

The eight then found Toady in the woods, hopping around and firing lasers from guns at some rebels.

"Haha! With my newfound power, you foolish rebels won't stand a chance against me!" Toady bragged, as he kept firing.

"But you haven't seen us!" Madison yelled, as she launched a heart blast at him, but he quickly jumped, dodging it.

"Ohoho! So the fairy mermaids and the stupid armored boys made it! Time to add reinforcements!" Toady yelled, as he threw out two blue balls and an orange one, forming two blue Slayers and an orange Slayer.

"Ugh, not the orange ones again!" Jake said.

"Don't worry, we took two last time and they weren't as bad!" Audrey said.

"The toad dude doesn't seem that powerful, so I think Audrey, Tori, Nick and Zero could take him, while we handle the robots!" Madison suggested.

"Wait, why us?" Tori asked, as she dodged a laser blast from a blue Slayer.

"Well, you guys are what I like to call the "B Team". It's simple really. Me, Maddie, Jake and Cam are the more powerful of our group, so we're the A Team." Cynthia said, picking up a rock and throwing it at the second blue Slayer, taking its head off.

"I'm not sure why, but I feel like that's an insult. I'm not sure, is it really?" Nick asked, as he slashed his sword at Toady, but he jumped up, landed behind and kicked Nick to the ground.

"She didn't mean it that way, but we've been talking, and she has...a point. You four...aren't...okay, I give up, you four aren't as heavy hitting as us at times," Madison said, as she launched a heart blast at the orange Slayer, but it deflected it, as the two rebels tried fighting it.

"I am not exactly an equipped fighter, I didn't really want to be a knight myself!" Zero said, fighting off Toady, as he kept firing his guns.

"Hey, we can be powerful when Tori and I do the ice combo! Watch!" Audrey said, as Tori launched a wave of water at Toady, and Audrey blew on it to make an ice blast, but Toady hopped out of the way and kicked both to the ground, as he laughed and jumped back.

"Using the same combo doesn't always work," Cameron said, as he punched the orange Slayer and clashed his sword with it.

"Well, at least we aren't stuck just opening and closing portals, or just shooting blasts from an ancient item!" Tori said snidely.

"What's that supposed to mean!?" Madison asked to Tori, as they stopped fighting Toady and the Slayers.

"Well, you think you're so better than us at everything, since you're the heart keeper, got a date..." Tori said, listing off, annoying Madison.

"Hey uh, now's not really the time for y'all to bicker!" a rebel said in panic, as the orange Slayer held him up.

As Madison was about to say something, a laser blast headed to Tori from the orange Slayer, and she quickly dodged.

"WHOA, that was close!" Tori yelled.

Cynthia then picked up another rock and threw it at the orange Slayer, as it cut through it, but Madison angrily launched another heart blast at it, causing it to spark. Jake got in its way in-between the blue Slayer, as both fired at once, and he quickly dodged, as they blew each other up, and the rebel was free.

"Yikes. Well, see ya!" Toady said, as Tori let out a water lasso at him, grabbing him by the leg and dragging him down.

'Well, since I am not powerful, I guess it doesn't hurt to do something!" Tori said, as Zero punched Toady upward, and sent him flying to the ground.

Audrey then sent out a heavy gust at him, as it spun him around and made him dizzy, causing him to fall to the ground.

"As a fellow B Team member, which I'm assuming is still a bad thing, or maybe isn't, I'm placing this dude under arrest!" Nick said, as he opened the scanner.

"What?! Let me go!" Toady yelled, as it read him as "Guilty".

"Here, let me imprison him," Tori said, as she let out a water blast at the containment field, as it was launched out at Toady, trapping him in a water prison.

"Thank you guardians and knights, we'll take him away," the other rebel said, as they walked off with him.

"So, what do you mean we're not heavy hitters?" Tori asked.

"And what do you mean by "stuck opening and closing portals", or "getting a date"?" Madison asked back.

"Alright, let's be calm. I'm sure neither of you meant what you said...I hope," Jake said.

"I didn't mean it, I guess I'm just jealous. But really, you never talked about this A and B team stuff before. Why should we be separated?" Tori asked.

"I didn't mean it that way. It was just a pointless ranking, I'm sorry," Madison said.

"It's okay dudette, we all say things we don't mean. Like how I said to Zero that one time I have eye sickness to get out of the stakeout, with that one time being yesterday...oh, I probably shouldn't have said that." Nick said.

"I was the one who came up with the A and B Team idea at first, I know it was dumb." Cynthia said.

"I had a feeling Cynthia would come up with that." Tori said.

"We can save this discussion for later. It appears we have two more monster attacks, in different locations. One in the farmlands west of the Bazaar, and one in the forests north of the slum village," Zero said.

"Seriously?! Is this Monster Day or something?" Cynthia asked.

"I do not need this today..." Madison said, sighing, thinking of the dance.

"Perhaps we can settle this by splitting up in our so-called "teams". Both sides are powerful enough to take down the beasts, I've seen it. How about we see who can defeat and imprison their creature first?" Jake offered.

"Do we really need more tension?" Cameron asked.

"It's just a fun little competition, and plus, this way we can take out both beasts at once," Jake replied.

"Fine," they all agreed.

"We can take the one near the village, how about it?" Cameron asked to Cynthia, Jake and Madison, as they agreed.

"That means we're going down to the farms." Zero said.

The teams then separated and headed off. The B Team is seen arriving at the farmland, as they see some Karmanian workers in the fields, when Scalipede launches an poisonous blast, as it burns through the crops.

"You monster!" the farmer yelled, as he threw his rake at him, but he grabbed it his mouth and melted it, as the farmer screamed and ran off.

"Alright, here we go! Listen up, you...uh...bug thing, we're not scared of you!" Nick yelled.

"Ha, so these are the fabled guardians and knights? I expected more, and less wimpy looking ones!" Scalipede said, laughing.

"We'll show you wimpy!" Tori said, as she launched a whirlpool around Scalipede, as he growled and was being hit with water blasts, but he broke through it and growled.

He then pulled out a purple potion, drinking it whole, as he smashed the glass to the ground.

"Get a load of this!" Scalipede yelled, as his back shell grew harder, and now had a poison glow around it. "Touch this and you fools gonna get stung!"

Zero slashed his sword at his stomach, and let out an electric blast, causing him to fall back. Scalipede got back up angrily, curled up in his shell and began rolling at them, smashing through the crops. Audrey let out a heavy gust tornado at him, as it was making him go flying in his ball, spinning him around. However, he then shot poison out into it, as more poison blasts flung out from the tornado.

"Well, this isn't working. Time for a more hand to hand approach!" Nick said, as he ran off and began slashing at Scalipede, but it didn't effect his shell, and he whacked Nick aside with his tail. "That didn't work either."

A female Karmanian in a yellow and white maid outfit runs up to them, as she throws a bag at Scalipede. He slices at it with his tail, but the powder explodes over his face, as it blinds him.

"MY EYES, I CAN'T SEE!" Scalipede yelled.

"Are you okay?" the maid asked.

"We're fine." Zero replied.

"Thanks, who are you?" Audrey asked.

"I am Vina, a worker at these farmlands. I help gather crops grown from these lands for those Federation men in the kitchen. I saw your trouble, and noticed you are guardians and knights. You are well respected by people like us, so I decided to give a little help." Vina explained.

"We're respected, huh?" Tori asked.

"Yes, but come with me. It is not safe!" Vina said, as Scalipede was trying to regain his vision.

She then took them into a nearby house, as Federation soldiers were seen inside being served food from other workers.

"We are forced to feed them, and they are very demanding, as the crops are becoming harder to grow with our poor farmland. Do not worry about me however, first you must get rid of that creature! I have to stay here now, sadly." Vina explained, as they looked out the backdoor to see farmers running away from Scalipede.

"We don't need to hide, but we appreciate the help. We got this!" Audrey said, as Vina went back to her kitchen duties.

Before they left, Nick quickly waved his fin, as he read Vina's aura.

"Hmm...there's something off about her, and I don't know what." Nick said to the others.

"She's just a maid, there's nothing to be concerned about, Nick," Tori reassured.

"If you say so, and WATCH OUT!" Nick yelled, as Scalipede swung his tail at them.

At A Team's progress, Madison, Cynthia, Jake, and Cameron were at a cross-path, as Klobster jumped out of the shadows at them.

"So, the other half shows themselves! I thought you were gonna be a bunch of babies!" Klobster bragged, as he drank an orange potion and his claws grew bigger and sharper.

"We can clip those claws right off, no matter how big they are!" Cynthia said, as she levitated rocks up and spun them around Klobster, but he grabbed two of them and threw them back at her very fast, as she was sent smashing into a tree. "Ouch..."

"Are you okay?" Cameron asked, as Klobster three out an orange Slayer and it began attacking.

"Yeah, I-I'm fine," Cynthia said, as Madison launched a heart blast at the orange Slayer and deflected with a shield.

"Yeah, I expected as much. Only being stuck to this heart kind of sucks after a while..." Madison admitted, dodging a laser blast.

Jake tried attacking Klobster, but he grabbed Jake's sword, broke it, and then grabbed Jake with his claw, ready to break him.

"Jake!" Cameron yelled, as he tried attacking, but Klobster grabbed him in his other claw.

"I'm about to cut y'all both in half!" Klobster bragged, as Cynthia made the ground rise up, and shattered it, causing Klobster to fall, as he let go of both in the fall.

He got back up and cut a tree in half, as he grabbed the broken half and threw it at the gang. Madison quickly grabbed the heart, as it sent a pink beam slicing through the tree, as the other half went flying to the orange Slayer, which sliced it in half, but Jake and Cameron both attacked it, as Cynthia sent a big rock straight into it, destroying it.

"Nice teamwork!" Cameron said.

Back at the farmlands, they dodged Scalipede's attack, as Zero quickly stabbed his sword on the tail and let out an electric charge, as it began stunning Scalipede.

"Now, freeze it!" Zero said to Audrey and Tori, as they did their combo, and it began freezing Scalipede's lower body in ice.

"L-let me go!" Scalipede yelled, trying to break free.

"Alright bug dude, time to judge you for destroying crops and being pretty ugly, because bugs scare me!" Nick said, as he scanned it, which read him as "Guilty".

Tori and Audrey both sent one final ice beam into the containment unit, as it sent it flying straight at his top body, and his body fell to the ground, leaving him covered entirely in ice.

"...We did it!" Audrey said, surprised.

"I guess we can be good after all," Tori said.

"You always were. I'll send a report to have him moved before his prison melts," Zero said.

Back at Klobster's battle, Madison launches another heart blast at him, but he blocks it with his claw and rams Cameron aside.

"I'm getting really sick of this guy!" Cynthia said, as she made the ground rise up around him, and he kept breaking through it, but Jake quickly jumped up and punched him, sending him flying straight into a large rock, as his claws were stuck deep into it.

"Gah...I-I can't get out!" Klobster panicked, trying to get his claws off the rock.

Cameron then scanned him, as it read him "Guilty". Madison sent out a heart blast into the containment unit, as it contained Klobster.

"I am so burnt out!" Madison said, feeling tired from fighting.

"So am I, I don't think I could handle another..." Jake said.

"Nooo, this isn't fair!" Klobster whined, still stuck in the tree.

Audrey and Tori flew down at the scene, as Nick and Zero met up with them.

"So...I take it you guys beat your monster first?" Cameron asked.

"I guess you could say that, but I don't think it matters, we all did good." Audrey said.

"I'm sorry for the whole team thing, I was just arrogant, I guess..." Cynthia said.

"Yeah...I learned that my heart blasts don't always save the day," Madison said.

"It's okay, I guess I have been a bit useless, but I learned my powers with teamwork... Wow, that sounds really cheesy." Tori said.

"I think what we can all learn from this is that we each contribute something unique to the team, in our powers, brains, or just general combat," Zero said.

Ramos is seen watching this from his throne, as a portal was on the floor.

"Excellent, they're all worn out. Time to unleash the beast." Morgana said.

"I hope for your sake it'll take orders, this one is a powerful one..." Ramos said.

As the eight were ready to head back, they heard a crash from the forests.

"What was that?!" Cameron asked, as a loud stomping noise was approaching near them.

"I...don't like the sounds of this..." Madison was saying, as they heard another stomp.

Out of the crashing trees, came a giant creature covered entirely black armor, with a cross on its chest, had no visible eyes, and was holding a giant mace in its right hand.

"...What is that?!" Audrey asked.

"...The Smasher. One of the most powerful Karmanian army beasts. This isn't good." Jake said.

The Smasher then swung his mace at all eight.

"SCATTER!" Zero yelled, as all eight barely tried to avoid it, as the mace struck into the rock Klobster was on, sending him and the rock flying.

"AAAAHH!!!" Klobster yelled.

"How do we defeat it?!" Madison asked, trying to shoot a heart blast at it, but it had no effect.

"This thing is so big, that...I don't know if it has a weakness," Nick said nervously.

"And I don't have a sword, so there's not much we can do!" Jake panicked, as they avoided its giant circular feet.

The Smasher swung its mace, as Audrey blew a heavy gust at it, trying to blow the mace out if its hand, but it held on too tight, resisting it.

"That's all I got..." Audrey said.

Cynthia levitated boulders and threw them at the Smasher, but they just broke upon impact at its strong metal.

"I have an idea. There's a heavy drop cliff near here. Maybe, just maybe, if we could lure it..." Zero was saying to the gang.

"I think I know what you are aiming for, doc! Or maybe not," Nick said, wondering.

The four girls flew over the forests, as they followed where Zero and the knights were running to. The Smasher kept pummeling through the forests, as Karmanian animals fled. The girls launched more attacks at it to wear it down, but it kept going, as they made it to the cliff.

"If Cynthia can cause a giant shatter to the edge of the cliff, and we get it in position, it could go for a very hard fall," Zero said to them.

"I'll see what I can do," Cynthia said, as she tried baiting it, and it kept moving.

"You know, fighting a giant thing like this should probably have me screaming, but I've seen so much weird stuff here I'm used to it." Tori said, throwing water blasts at it, as one went into the vent of its helmet.

The Smasher then stopped fighting for a bit, as it was trying to recover from the water attack.

"That vent...maybe if we could strike there to make it fall..." Jake said to Zero.

"Yes, this could work!" Zero said.

The girls flew to the end of the cliff, as The Smasher moved forward. Cynthia then flew behind and began making the cliff crack from the other side, as Madison launched a heart blast at it, but it blocked with its mace. Tori then launched a whirlpool around its head, as it couldn't see. Cynthia kept making the cliff separate, as The Smasher was making it crack off even more. She then let go, as The Smasher was seen tipping backward, as Tori kept the whirlpool up, but it broke out of it.

"Come on, just a little more..." Cameron said.

The Smasher's mace went flying back over its shoulder, as it was ready to throw it back and regain balance, but the cliff cracked, as it went falling.

"NOW!" Zero yelled, as Madison launched multiple heart blasts into its vent, as Cynthia did with rocks, Tori did with water blasts, and Audrey did with gusts, as The Smasher went smashing below into a canyon, with a large crash heard. The cliff fell on top it, with lots of rubble coming down.

The eight looked down to see lots of smoke rising up.

"He's probably fine." Tori joked.

"Is he really done for, Zero?" Madison asked.

"Definitely. Probably. At least I hope so. Let's get back," Zero said, as they turned around and walked back.

"Now that right there was teamwork. We don't need any silly team separations," Nick said.

"Yeah, I'm sorry you guys. You were able to help us out, I guess I got overconfident, like Ranen warned..." Madison said.

"No worries, now someone has a date with Trent," Audrey teased, as they went back out the portal and powered down.

"Is something bugging you?" Jake asked to Cynthia.

"It's Elana. I'm thinking about it, what if she never wants to be rescued?" Cynthia asked.

"Don't assume the worst. We just have to wait for the right time to rescue her. It's a dance night, let's have fun!" Audrey said.

At Ramos's throne room, Ramos is seen angrily looking at Morgana.

"Well, that's a big mistake on my part for listening to you. Morgana, go to your room," Ramos ordered.

"So much for a child being able to give the king a plan, eh?" Vexacus taunted.

"At least I had a plan!" Morgana said, stepping on Vexacus's foot, as she kept walking.

Doyle and Van Gordon laughed, as Vexacus gave them an angry glare, and they whistled.

At the school dance, the girls and Jake are seen there, as Trent asks Madison for a dance.

"May I?" Trent asked.

"Of course!" Madison replied, as they began dancing.

"See, this is fun!" Audrey said to Cynthia, getting punch.

"Yeah, it is!" Cynthia said, feeling better, as she hang out with everyone, and music played.
