Shark Tale

Damn, that was lot of revelations in this episode which we learned more abiout how Ramos had been disappearing in this episode, and Elana has gained her confidence to destory Brak and Baddwing. I didn't know Val was being all this this for a whole time. Overall, that was pretty shocker episode (and creepy) episode. A+

My favorite part was when Shift was trying to talk and they kept beating him up. Even though the vision Elana was seeing was obviously fake, it was fun seeing her fight while motivated by hatred. I liked how the chips played such a big part in Ramos' story. The thing with Rorrim, Cameron having to go to the Underground City to meet a criminal, pretty much confirmed that Mai and Ranen have ties to the mafia. XD

Excellent episode! May not have had a lot of the main heroes, but the other plots more than made up for that. I liked seeing Ramos struggling (a nice juxtaposition to his status in S1), and the plot with him triumphing over the spider crab (which I totally looked up, lol) for a bag of chips was hilarious xD. Val, btw is quite the manipulator. Having Elana see a false vision of the past which tricks her into getting emotional (and thus letting her guard down), was quite the play. Sucks that she's captured once again (although, this time she knows she's in some deep stuff). Finally, I liked the Cameron-Rorrim conversation - he was kinda creepy, but it worked for the plotline. Anyway, I can't wait to see how this all resolves.

37. Mirror Mirror

The heroes are seen arriving at Elana's castle, entering right into the dining hall in a hurry. They see Vince, Mariette and several soldiers, with the room being a slight mess due to Brak's attack.

"Where's Elana?" Cynthia asked, concerned.

"And what happened to this place?" Jake asked, helping pick up a chair.

"We were attacked by the Battlestar forces. Elana was able to drive them off, but..." Vince was saying, concerned.

"I'm afraid, she was taken away by a mysterious sorceress disguised as Vina. It turns out she never existed." Mariette continued, surprising the gang.

"I knew something was fishy about her..." Nick said, recalling his analyzation of her.

"We tried asking guards if they knew anything about her past, and they knew nothing. They had no clue where she lived, anything about her family, nothing. The sorceress imprisoned Elana inside of her mother's jewel, and vanished. Before it happened, Elana said she saw her real parents say horrible things about her. I suspect the sorceress made her see false visions to hurt her. Please rescue her." Vince said.

"Great, now we have to save Elana again..." Cameron said, annoyed.

"If only that shapeshifter hadn't been distracting us, I'm sorry." Jake said to them.

"It's not your fault, you wouldn't have known. They jammed all communication, there was no way for us to tell you." Mariette said.

"I promise we will rescue her, but what did the sorceress look like?" Madison asked.

"She had red hair, and wore a black cloak." Vince replied.

"Could it be the mysterious lady we saw in our dreams?" Audrey asked.

"Red hair...Trent's mom..." Madison realized, concerned.

"I don't care who they are, but when I see them, they are going to get it for imprisoning Elana!" Cynthia said angrily.

"I just don't understand why "Vina" saved us back in the farmlands if she was this wicked witch the whole time." Tori said, confused.

"It is possible the sorceress wanted to gain our trust using the false persona to throw off suspicion." Zero theorized.

"I think it's time we asked Mai and Ranen about this." Madison suggested.

The heroes are seen entering back into the dojo to tell them what happened. However, they weren't there, but a purple portal to the Karmanian Council was.

"Looks like we have another meeting." Tori said, as they entered at once.

They arrived outside the temple, as Mai, Ranen, and the Council were waiting for them.

"Good, you all came. We have urgent information to tell you." Luna greeted.

"I assume you already knew what happened. The Council told us that Queen Elana is gone." Ranen said.

"Yeah, I'll recap: The Battlestar dudes attacked Elana's castle, Elana fought them off, but Elana is now trapped inside of a jewel, and a red-haired sorceress took it, who happened to be impersonating a maid named Vina, who tricked her into giving her said jewel with a fake vision, and also happens to be the same woman the girls saw in their weird dreams, and she also happens to be Trent's mother... I don't think I missed any major details, oh wait, I did neglect to mention the part where we imprisoned a shapeshifting guy who was distracting us the whole time from the castle scheme, so yeah, there was that too. I think that's it." Nick rambled, nearly out of breath.

"You forgot to mention the part where you just made a record for the world's longest run-on sentence." Tori said.

"I did?" Nick asked.

"I feared this day would come. The day I'd have to tell you all about her..." Mai said, sighing.

"About who?" Cynthia asked.

"You may be wondering who the culprit is. I've neglected to tell you this for personal reasons, but now it is time. The mysterious woman you saw in your dreams, and the one who took Elana away... her name is Valina. She is the former keeper of the Heart, and a guardian along with my old group. She also controlled Aether, just like you Madison." Mai explained, shocking the heroes.

"Wait, Trent told me his mom's name was Valentina, not Valina..." Madison said, confused.

"Valina...I vaguely remember my dad and mom mentioning that name a long time ago, when I was just a boy." Cameron said.

"Vina, Valina, Valentina, jeez, someone is full of themselves." Tori said.

"It seems that Valina has been undercover with two false identities, as Vina, and now Valentina." Cesare said worried.

"What happened to her?" Jake asked.

"I will let the Council explain it. I don't like talking about it." Mai said, somewhat upset.

"Valina and the other four guardians were once best friends, just like you girls. But a few years after they got their powers, when Valina was 21, I feared something was corrupting her. She became obsessed with the heart's power, too obsessed. We also found out she practiced dark magic, something we do not approve of. It is too dangerous for a normal person to control, even a guardian. She crafted a staff to help hold her dark magic. I took the heart away from her, and gave it to Cassidy, another former guardian. Her and Valina were very close friends." Cesare explained.

A flashback showed a younger Valina with the four other old guardians, showing younger versions of Cassidy, Mai, Briar, and an unknown fourth. Cassidy was shown to be in her mermaid form, wearing a blue shirt like Tori does in her form. She had russet-orange hair, blue eyes, and was seen holding the heart.

"Oh oh, I'll take the story from here!" Tom begged to the three.

"Tom, I don't know if you should-" Briar argued.

"Relax, I got this. Alright, so, Valina went crazy, and demanded Cassidy give her the heart, confronting her on a Posidonia mountain one cold night. Cassidy said no way, and the two got in a very intense battle, like, really intense. Cassidy fought strong, but, alas..." Tom was saying.

"Valina unleashed too much power on her, and Cassidy fell. Valina was horrified, I know deep down she did not intend to, but she lost control of her magic and emotions. After that, the Council stripped her of her guardian and dark magic powers, but it appears she founds ways to get them back. The Heart was given to Mai, who held onto it. Our group wasn't the same after that." Briar continued, as a flashback showed Valina approaching Cassidy on a snowy mountain, who held onto the heart. The two soon got into a battle.

"In addition, during their fight, Valina's power cleaved half of her gem's power-stone. To this day, we never found out what happened to the other half." Luna said.

"...Wow, that story is so sad. I feel bad, grandma." Audrey said, looking sad.

"Yeah, talk about a dark backstory bomb." Nick said.

"Heh, cleave, now that's a funny word. You can cleave something together...you can cleave something apart..." Tom was saying, make weird motions with his hands and arms.

"Tom..." Briar was saying, trying to stop him, annoyed.

"If I go like this with both my arms, off goes my shirt...cleaved from my body." Tom said, ripping off his mystic shirt from his body, exposing his upper half. The heroes all looked away, as Luna and Briar closed their eyes.

"Come on man, I don't need to see that!" Cynthia said, looking away.

"Ahem, Tom. Shirt, please..." Cesare said, coughing.

"No problem, I just wanted to help define the meaning of the word." Tom said, as he magically made his shirt reappear, good as new.

"You can look now." Jake said to the gang, as they did.

"What happened to Valina after the incident?" Zero asked.

"She was banished from visiting Karmania, but from there, we are not sure where her life went. Our group parted ways with her afterwards, it wasn't easy. We had no way of keeping an eye on her after this, and assumed she was no longer a threat." Briar explained.

"It has been a long 35 years since that day, and it is difficult for us all to remember." Mai said.

"Wait, how does she look so young then if she is around your age? In our dreams, she looked pretty young." Madison asked, confused.

"My guess is she used a de-aging spell to stop herself from aging physically." Luna said.

"Wow, talk about insecure, I wouldn't even do something like that, even with my aging power." Cynthia said.

"How was she impersonating Vina for 16 years?" Cameron asked.

"She most likely used a spell to cloak herself using a false persona. This is a dangerous dark magic power, and she could use it to impersonate more than one person." Luna explained.

"This explains how the rebel prison was broken into. I recall a soldier saying the intruder used electricity to attack, but I didn't want to think it was her. She must have asked where it was when she re-joined the castle, and none of us suspected anything, assuming she was an old castle worker." Ranen said.

"I did suspect something about her when we met her in the farmlands, if that counts for anything." Nick said.

"And let's not forget she is Trent's mom... Who could his dad possibly be though? Trent has never mentioned his dad to me before..." Jake wondered.

"My boyfriend's mother is one of our enemies now..." Madison said, having a realization.

"Awkward." Tori said.

"I know this is a lot to take in. I do not know what she could be planning, but since she released five Karmanian beast criminals and trapped Queen Elana in her jewel, she cannot be up to any good. You will have to keep an eye out for her activities, especially since she is living right in your town as we speak. Make sure she doesn't put her son Trent into any danger. You will now have to fight against her and the Battlestar forces." Cesare explained.

"Thanks for telling us. We promise we'll stop her." Madison said.

"Just be careful, Valina is always a step ahead. She has cunning skills." Briar warned, as the ten headed back into the portal.

As they went back in, Madison closed the Council portal behind.

"While you guys ponder about Valina, I have to go back to the Underground City and do something." Cameron said.

"Is it related to that Rorrim guy?" Jake asked.

"Yeah, I just need to check on something. Have to keep those prisoners in check." Cameron said, as he went in through the portal that was still there.

Ranen and Mai seemed concerned, not saying anything. Nick then ponders after hearing Rorrim's name.

"I hope everything turns out to be okay." Audrey said.

"Yeah, I'm kind of concerned about Trent having a crazy mom who may be plotting against us now..." Madison said.

The girls, Mai, and Jake left, but Nick and Zero stayed behind.

"Hey doc, there's something bugging me about that Rorrim guy. His name is familiar to me for some reason..." Nick said.

"Ranen keeps an archive of all captured Karmanian beasts in this room. I suppose you can take a look through here and see what you can find." Zero said, escorting him to a room.

Nick looks around the files, and then finds one of interest. He looks into it, gasping.

"Uh oh..." Nick said, reading it.

Valina is seen walking along a sidewalk, and pulls out Elana's jewel. She stares into it, laughing. Elana is seen trapped in a green void inside.

"Where am I? Who are you? Let me out!" Elana demanded, trying to use her powers, but they wouldn't work.

"It was simple, really. I impersonated a worker for 16 years, and waited for when a royal family member would willfully give up the jewel. Now it is all mine, thanks for charging it up with your powers. For weeks this has been draining your energy." Valina bragged, talking to Elana in the jewel.

She then went home to see Trent outside playing basketball with several friends. Trent passed the ball to a friend, throwing it at the hoop, but missed.

"Really dude? Come on." one of Trent's friends said.

As they kept playing, Valina approached closer, seeming somewhat upset and jealous. She then walked up to Trent, interrupting the game.

"Trent, tell your friends to go away." Valina said, annoyed.

"Why?" Trent asked.

"Just tell them to go, don't invite your friends without my permission." Valina replied angrily.

"Sorry guys, you have to go. Mom says so." Trent said, annoyed to them.

"Okay then. See ya tomorrow, I guess." one of them said, as they left.

"His mom can be rude." one of them whispered.

"At least she's hot." another whispered.

"Why do you always scare off my friends? This is why we never have parties here..." Trent questioned to her, and Valina seemed annoyed.

"I'm your mother, you will do as I say. I don't want them coming here unless you tell me in advance." Valina said, walking to the door.

"No wonder why nobody wants to come here..." Trent said under his breath, as Valina heard it. She seemed upset, but then went inside angrily, slamming the door.

Cameron is seen entering Rorrim's cell, wearing black tape over reflective surfaces on his suit, and black sunglasses on his eyes.

"You made it back. I presume you took care of Shift?" Rorrim asked.

"Yes, he is locked away. I'm ready for your request, whatever it may be." Cameron replied.

"Well, you see, I am a...collector of sorts. I collect people's sad memories. In exchange for doing business, I want you to tell me your saddest memory." Rorrim requested, confusing Cameron.

"Um...okay. Fine, I'll tell you my saddest story. A long time ago, my dad used to be the previous red knight. He was an amazing hero, my mom told me. Even after the previous group of guardians and knights went their separate ways, my dad kept his powers, and used them to help the rebels fight off against the Federation. One day though, he got the call. He had to save hostages in a rich Karmanian village from a dangerous beast. They say he saved them all and fought hard. But, I...never saw him again." Cameron said sadly, as a flashback shows his dad in the red knight armor running into the Karmanian village, holding his sword firmly. Cameron's mother is then later shown handing a young Cameron his dad's red knight helmet, as both were sad.

"Thank you. That's one of the saddest tales I've ever heard." Rorrim said, standing and smiling a wicked grin.

"...What?" Cameron asked.

"Oh yes, I have heard many sorry tales over the years, but yours is truly one of the saddest. It will make a great one in my collection." Rorrim said, chuckling.

"You...YOU'RE A MONSTER!" Cameron yelled angrily, holding onto the cell bars.

"You think? Hahaha..." Rorrim taunted back.

Cameron then let out a small tear from his left eye, as Rorrim looked into it.

"Excellent." Rorrim said, as his face appeared in the tear.

Rorrim shined, turning into a dark spirit, and went into Cameron's tear. He vanished from the area. Cameron took off his sunglasses and looked into the cell, shocked to see it was empty. Cameron is seen running with Steele down the hall, showing him to the empty cell.

"Oh no, this is bad! Do you have any idea what they'll do if they find out I let this happen?!" Steele asked nervously.

"I'm sorry, he tricked me into telling a sad story. I let my emotions get the best of me..." Cameron said regrettably.

"It's not your fault, he is a tricky one. Alright alright, calm down Steele, I can track him..." Steele said, pulling out a tracking device.

He ripped off a piece of the table wood with his arm blade, and put it into the tracking device. It scanned Rorrim's DNA, and showed a dot moving across a Central Karmania map.

"Found him, get your friends. We cannot let him on the loose, he is extremely dangerous!" Steele said to Cameron.

"I'll alert them." Cameron said, activating his communicator.

Diggy is seen walking outside his trailer, as customers were there hanging out. Rorrim's face is seen inside a window on the trailer, looking at them. He then jumps out of it, startling Diggy and the customers.

"Who the heck are you!?" Diggy asked.

"It has been too long since I've visited the outside..." Rorrim said, chuckling.

"Listen you, unless you're buying something on the menu, go away, you're creeping my crew out!" Diggy said.

Rorrim waved his cape, and opened up his stone chest, revealing it to be a foldable mirror with three squares across. He shined the mirror at Diggy and his friends, absorbing them inside of it, as they screamed. He closed it, as they all appeared inside a white void. Rorrim laughs, and transforms into his shadow, flying off.

Cameron and Steele are seen running to the area, noticing tables flipped over.

"Signs of a struggle, and no civilians. Yup, he went by here." Steele said.

"The gang is on our trail, I told them where we are headed. Let's keep going." Cameron said, as they ran.

Rorrim is seen reforming from his dark shadow, and appears in a village entirely made of solid crystal. Two crystal guards approached, pointing crystal spears at him.

"Halt. Identify yourself, we do not let any random stranger into Crystal Town." one of them demanded, who was made of blue crystals.

"You also kind of creep me out, and that's not good." the other guard said, who was made of orange crystals.

"Gentlemen, put down those weapons. I'd hate to hurt you more than I want to..." Rorrim said, laughing.

His face appeared on the body of the orange crystal soldier, as their body shined.

"Oh jeez dude, he's inside of you!" the blue soldier said, freaking out, and pointing the spear.

"Don't hit me with that, GET HIM OUT!" the orange soldier said back, panicking.

"I DON'T KNOW HOW!" the blue soldier panicked, as they dropped their staffs.

Rorrim appeared on the blue soldier's face, laughing.

"Oh no, now he's on my face! Get him off!" the soldier panicked.

Rorrim reformed out of them. He shot dark energy balls from his hands at the two, knocking them down. He opened up his mirror chest, and absorbed the two inside. Rorrim laughed, as he surfed through more of the crystals across Crystal Town.

Steele and Cameron are seen arriving at the town.

"Crystal Town, of course he would come here." Steele said, worried.

A red crystal person approached them.

"Hello gentlemen, what brings you here?" the crystal person asked.

"We are on royal business." Cameron said, showing his knight stone.

"Have you seen a shady monster around here?" Steele asked.

"Nope, just all bright colored crystal people like me. If I see anything, I'll let ya know." the crystal person replied.

"That's odd, the tracker says...he is under us." Steele said, confused.

The three looked below to see Rorrim's face on the crystal ground, smiling.

"Uh oh, that's not a crystal person!" the crystal person panicked.

Rorrim jumped out of the crystal ground, shooting dark energy balls from his hands at them, as they fell. Cameron powered up.

"As a part of Central Karmanian law, you are under arrest! I-I don't want to do this the complicated way..." Steele threatened nervously, getting up.

"No thanks. I just got out, and want to see what the world is like since I got locked away." Rorrim replied, shooting another dark energy ball at the red crystal person, breaking off their right leg.

"Ow, my leg!" the crystal person said.

"I'll help-" Cameron was saying, as the crystal person got close enough, and the broken leg reattached itself.

"No worries, we can reconnect! I'll get reinforcements!" the crystal person said, as he ran off at once.

Steele ran up to Rorrim and sliced his arm blades at him, but he grabbed him by both, and slammed him into the ground.

"Dang." Steele said.

"As for you, blue knight... Thank you so much for releasing me from my prison. I could spare you, but that's too generous." Rorrim said.

Cameron ran up to him with his sword, but Rorrim disappeared into the crystal ground. He then appeared outside a crystal house, and jumped out. He shot a dark beam at Cameron, who barely deflected it with his sword.

"I admit, you are stronger than I thought, but when you see your own reflection, you won't be..." Rorrim was saying.

He was about to open his mirror chest, but a lightning bolt hit him, knocking him over a bit. The heroes arrived, all powered up.

"Sorry we took so long, we had no clue where this place was." Jake said.

"This place is actually pretty, compared to most other places in this world." Cynthia said, seeing the crystals.

"Oh hey, you're that guy we accused of being the bank robber. Sorry about that." Tori said to Steele.

"Don't worry, just help us defeat him." Steele replied.

"Watch out, he's tough. He can escape through reflective surfaces." Cameron warned.

"He is definitely creepy, I'll give him that." Tori said, seeing his eerie face.

Rorrim made his eyes glow, as they turned black. He let out a dark haze in the area, confusing the heroes. They tried to throw attacks, but couldn't see anything. Rorrim then let out dark blasts everywhere from them, falling to the crystal ground. Rorrim appeared in front, clapping his hands.

"I expected more from the new guardians and knights. Oh well, makes it easy..." Rorrim said, about to open his mirror chest, when a crystal blast hits him in the back of the head.

They all look to see the red crystal person returned with several soldiers, firing at him. He then transferred himself onto a green one's body, making him freak out.

"GET HIM OUT OF ME!" the soldier panicked, as Rorrim appeared out of him.

He let out a dark blast, destroying the soldier, as his pieces fell on the ground.

"Oww, I'm going to need help getting back together..." the soldier's mouth said.

Cynthia levitated a crystal rock and flung it at Rorrim. He quickly turned around and vaporized it with his eyes.

"This dude is good." Nick said, shocked.

Rorrim let out another dark wave at the soldiers, making them fall down or break. He opened his mirror chest, absorbing them inside of him.

"Where did they go?" Audrey asked.

"Inside of here. You can join them." Rorrim said, showing his mirror to them, with Diggy, his friends and the crystal people in a white void.

"Don't look!" Steele yelled, jumping out of the way.

Madison threw a lightning bolt at his mirror, but he just absorbed it. He reflected it back, sending her flying into a crystal rock.

"Do not let yourselves be in that mirror's view. It appears Rorrim can trap you in an inter-dimensional void with no way out..." Zero explained, attacking him from behind, letting out a shock from his sword. It had little effect, as Rorrim sent a dark blast at him, sending him to the ground.

"You can get a first-hand experience..." Rorrim said, showing his mirror to Zero.

"Professor, no!" Jake yelled, as him, Steele, Cameron, and Nick jumped in the way.

Jake attacked Rorrim multiple times with his sword, and Steele attacked with his blades. Rorrim sent Steele flying with a dark blast, and punched Jake to the ground. Nick used his knight stone to jump up over him, and tried to punch him from behind, but Rorrim grabbed him by the fist, sending him flying. Cameron shot a blast with his handgun, but Rorrim absorbed it into his mirror, deflecting it back at him. Rorrim absorbed both Zero and Jake inside the mirror.

"Jake, Zero, no!" Madison yelled.

The girls attacked him at once with their elemental powers, but he sent another shadow gaze at them. He vanished into the crystal ground. He floated away through the reflections of the crystals, laughing.

"We lost him, if only I had special knight stone powers like the rest do..." Cameron said angrily.

"How did he even get out?" Cynthia asked.

"I accidentally did it. He tricked me, I didn't see it coming. Trust me, I will take full responsibility later, but we have to get them back." Cameron said.

"He's too strong..." Audrey said.

"Yeah, we'll have to ask Ranen for help." Madison said, as they headed back.

"I can track his movements with this still, so don't worry." Steele said, showing the tracker.

As they headed back, Nick is seen approaching Cameron.

"Hey, uh dude, I have some concerning information about that Rorrim guy. I did some independent research, and found out this guy was the last monster your dad, Wes Rhodes, faced before he...went up to the great beyond. Am I saying that right?" Nick wondered, as Cameron stopped in his tracks.

"...Of course, it makes sense. I can't believe it, why didn't Ranen or Mai tell me?" Cameron asked annoyed, as he angrily walked off past the rest.

"Cam, wait!" Nick yelled, running after.

"Where is he running off to?" Cynthia asked.

The seven are seen arriving back in the dojo, as Madison made the girls power down.

"We have a major problem..." Audrey was saying.

"Where are Jake and Zero?" Ranen asked.

"Basically, Cameron accidentally let out a creep, and now he is on the loose, imprisoning people inside a mirror." Tori said.

"He tricked me, I promise. I would never do it intentionally, you know me." Cameron said.

"I know. You all must be careful, Rorrim is one of the most dangerous Karmanian beasts to ever live." Ranen said.

"Is there anyway we can get them back from the mirror world?" Madison asked.

"Yes, but it won't be easy. You need to find a way to make a crack in it, which will allow them to escape. You must hurry, as if you don't do it in time..." Ranen was saying.

"But how can we crack it? He absorbs our attacks if we directly strike his mirror thing." Cynthia asked.

"You will need to be creative, or wait until the solution appears. The best solution may not always be one you can do right away." Ranen replied, as he went down a hallway. Cameron confronted him in private.

"Why didn't you tell me Rorrim was the last monster my dad faced?" Cameron asked, surprising him.

"Cadet Rhodes, I'm sorry for not telling you the truth sooner. This was an error, but I felt it was for the best." Ranen replied.

"Let me guess, I couldn't handle it-" Cameron was saying.

"No, of course you could, Rhodes. You are 22 years old, and a strong fighter. I just did not want this information to influence your interrogation on him. Unfortunately, I did not intend for him to trick you the way he did. As Mai would say, do not let your anger get the best of you. Wes would have liked it this way. Just focus on rescuing your friends, and bringing him to justice again." Ranen said.

"You're right. Thanks, commander." Cameron said, running off.

Rorrim is seen outside a large crystal building. Two crystal guards are there, pointing crystal guns at him.

"Halt. State your busi-" one of them was saying, as Rorrim sliced off his leg with a dark blast. "Alright, that's not coo-"

Rorrim sliced off his arm holding the gun. The other guard fired, but Rorrim absorbed the crystal blast, and deflected it back at the other guard. A hole burnt through their body, as Rorrim blasted them to pieces. The other guard barely hopped around, trying to get in his way.

"Alright, I still got one leg and one ar-" the other guard was saying, as Rorrim cut both of those off. The rest of his body fell, struggling to reconnect his body with the broken parts.

"Well, this stinks." the guard said.

Inside, the blue mayor of Crystal Town is seen in his crystal office, wearing a fancy top hat and monocle. An orange crystal person runs into the room.

"HELP! Mayor, we have a problem! A complete weirdo is terrorizing the town!" they said.

"WHAT?! Oh dear, put guards everywhere!" The Mayor ordered.

Rorrim blasted down the door, falling on top of the orange crystal person. Rorrim transferred himself into the shining crystal room, moving himself around everywhere. The Mayor looked around concerned. Rorrim then reappeared, and let out a dark blast, sending The Mayor flying onto his desk. He showed his mirror, absorbing him inside of it.

"This whole town will soon go into my void, I just hope I have room..." Rorrim said, laughing. He hopped back inside the crystals, moving around.

Steele and the remaining heroes are seen looking around Crystal Town for Rorrim. They notice how eerily quiet it is.

"Where is everyone?" Audrey asked.

"I hope he didn't get them all..." Madison said, worried.

"Up here." Steele said, as they went into a crystal cave, resembling a hall of mirrors.

Rorrim's face showed on a crystal rock, Cameron shot at it with his handgun, destroying it. His face then appeared on part of a cavern wall, as Cynthia made the wall crack, but he vanished again. They looked around, and Nick then noticed Rorrim's face on his knight stone.

"That's not good." Nick said, as Rorrim hopped out of it, and punched Nick in the helmet, sending him backward.

Audrey and Tori tried shooting an ice beam at him, but he opened his mirror. The ice beam bounced off of it and hit part of the cavern walls. Nick used his super speed power to run around him in circles, trying to distract him, but Rorrim sent a dark haze around the area, tripping him. Cynthia threw crystal rocks at him, but vaporized them with his eyes.

"This guy is getting on my nerves!" Cynthia said.

Madison shot an electricity ball at him from behind, but he caught it with his hand, making it disappear. Steele jumped at him and sliced him in the face, but Rorrim sent him flying into the wall. He then vanished through the crystals again.

"I have an idea, let's all attack his mirror at once, it will overwhelm him." Cameron suggested to the gang.

"That might be hard..." Tori said, as they saw Rorrim's face under them, listening to the conversation.

He then let out a dark haze on all seven, and jumped out of the ground. He opened his mirror, as he absorbed Nick, Audrey and Tori inside of it. They were shown in the white void with the rest.

"No!" they yelled.

"Hi, I'm the mayor of Crystal Town. Welcome to the middle of nowhere. Get used to it, you'll be here for a while...possibly forever." The Mayor said to them in the void, sighing.

Madison and Cynthia both attacked him at once, but Rorrim reflected the attacks with his mirror, hitting them. They both fell to the ground, and he absorbed them inside of his mirror.

"Oh no, I don't work well under pressure in situations like this!" Steele said.

"We can do this. Just follow my lead, I'll get him from the front, you get him from the back." Cameron said.

Cameron then charged, slicing at Rorrim, and evading his mirror. Steele charged, as he sliced at the back of Rorrim's head multiple times. Both Cameron and Steele kept attacking him, but Rorrim fled into the reflections. He hopped down from the ceiling. Steele jumped right at him to attack, but Rorrim caught him in the mirror, being absorbed into it. Steele struggled to get out, reaching his arm to Cameron.

"Save yourself!" Steele yelled in horror, being sucked inside.

"It's just you and me, blue knight. You know, you remind me of someone that I fought a long time ago..." Rorrim said, laughing.

This annoyed Cameron, but he stood strong. Rorrim shot dark energy balls from his hands, as Cameron sent one of them flying back with his sword. The ball headed straight for the mirror, but Rorrim caught it.

"Not bad, but this is your end..." Rorrim said.

He launched a dark blast right at Cameron. He tried to dodge, but it was too fast, as he covered his face with his arms. Suddenly, his blue knight stone began glowing. It then formed a blue energy, and stopped the blast.

"What?!" Rorrim asked, shocked.

The stone deflected the blast back at Rorrim like a mirror, sending him flying into a wall. Rorrim moved around the crystal walls, as Cameron braced for it. Rorrim then jumped out from behind. He opened his mirror, and Cameron felt his stone giving him strength. His sword glowed blue, as he struck it right into the mirror, cracking it.

"NO!" Rorrim yelled, as it glowed, and Cameron kept jabbing it into him.

The captives in the void saw a rip opening.

"You thought always using the same strategy could save you for long, but an unexpected one will find its way." Cameron said, as he began to cut his sword across the rest of his mirror.

"I WON'T LET YOU!" Rorrim yelled.

He shot lasers from his eyes at Cameron, but he used his knight stone to deflect them right into his mirror. It caused more cracks to open, as it kept glowing. Suddenly, everyone appeared out of the mirror, and by Cameron's side.

"Cameron, you saved us!" Jake said.

Cameron ran right to Rorrim and did one final slice with his glowing sword through his mirror, as it exploded. The shards fell everywhere, making Rorrim panic. He no longer had a mirror.

"No no no..." Rorrim was saying.

Cameron ran up and punched him several times right in the face. Rorrim let out one last dark energy blast, but Cameron caught it with his stone's mirror power. He powered it up, as Rorrim quickly fled into the ground. The stone then made Cameron shoot the beam right into the ground, making Rorrim scream. He appeared on the ground fried and in pain.

"How did I attack him?" Cameron asked, surprised.

"It appears your stone has gained its new powers, which are deflecting attacks, increasing your weapon's strength, and being able to attack through reflective surfaces. Excellent work." Zero explained.

"No...please..." Rorrim begged, as Cameron scanned him.

Rorrim tried to escape, but it was no use. It marked him "Guilty".

"Here Cam, I'll lend you my red stone's power. It's the least I can do." Jake said.

"If you really want." Cameron said.

Jake shined his red stone onto the containment unit, letting out a red blast at Rorrim, imprisoning him.

"Yay, our town is saved!" a crystal person said, as they cheered.

"I'm still missing my arm," one of them said.

Diggy, his friends, and the crystal people then went out of the cave. Cameron approached Rorrim, who was on the ground.

"Go on, finish me knight! Show me no mercy!" Rorrim demanded.

Cameron lifted up his sword. He swung it down, cutting off his right horn.

"There, I took something from you." Cameron said, picking up the horn.

"Thank you for your help, Cameron and the rest. You're not getting out of my sights again, pal." Steele said, as helped Rorrim get up, and escorted him away.

Everyone powered down, as Cameron was tired. The eight were seen back in the dojo, as Madison closed the portal.

"I have requested Rorrim be moved to a faraway prison, shrouded in darkness. He will have no way of escaping. You did good today Cameron." Ranen said.

"All of us have new powers now, so that's cool, even though Cameron was last in line." Tori said.

"Thank you, but I don't deserve the credit. I was the one who let him escape in the first place, and I'll gladly accept the punishment." Cameron said.

"I'll let Jake decide that." Ranen said.

"From what it sounds like, he took advantage of your emotions, so I can't hold you responsible for that." Jake said.

"Now that is all taken care of, we need to start preparing for whatever Valina is planning, along with getting Queen Elana back." Ranen said.

Jake is seen later meeting with Cameron outside the dojo.

"Hey man, Nick told me about Rorrim and your dad. I'm sorry." Jake said.

"It's fine. Getting angry wouldn't have fixed anything. Thanks for the help. I know we had our differences. I always wanted to be the red knight to follow in my father's footsteps, but seeing my stone's power made me realize it's not the color that matters." Cameron said.

"That's pretty mature. Hey, your stone has more abilities than mine, so I guess you are better than me in a way." Jake said, as they laughed.

Later, after the rest left, Cameron looks up at the sky.

"I'm going to miss you dad. That was for you." Cameron said.

A vision is seen on his blue knight stone. It shows a memory of his dad dropping a young Cameron off at preschool.

"I'm going to miss you too, Cameron. Stay safe and be good." Wes said, waving farewell.

Spoiler

Rorrim is the one who killed him, which is why he was locked away.

-Since Mai says Valina's incident took place when she was 21 (Word of Jjs: all five were 21 at the time for clarity), and that it was 35 years ago, this means Mai, Briar and Valina are 56 years old. This also means the previous guardians and knights were formed 40 years ago (Word of Jjs: the girls got their powers at 16 just like the current group).

-Cesare reaffirms what Skipper said in "Princess" about dark magic being hard to control and very dangerous.

-Mai, Valina, Briar and Cassidy are four of the five known previous guardians. The fifth one is unknown at the moment.

-

Spoiler

Cassidy and Wes are the only previous guardians and knights (that we know of at the moment) to be deceased.

-Valina information:

Spoiler

* It is revealed "Valentina" is not her real name, and it is just a different identity she uses, like Vina.

* Valina is the second character in the series to use the element of Aether, the first being Madison.

* Valina is the third character in the series to use dark magic (the first being Skipper, and second being Donny).

So both of Valina's aliases start with "V" and end with "ina". I wonder if she was ever at any point known as "Vagina".

Killer episode. Before this, I probably would've said that Cameron was my least favorite guardian. I am happy now that I feel like reconsidering.

Another excellent episode! I liked that we got a lot of backstory on Val(x). I think it's hilarious that she's been assuming different aliases, and just further displays her penchant for deception. Like Snake, I also think this episode was a strong show for Cameron, and I found the ending with an intercut of Cameron/Wes saying they'll miss each other to be particularly tear jerking. I like that the tone has been darkening the further along we get into the season, as the stakes are getting considerably upped as well week by week.

38. Stay Gold

Flinn is seen in an office in Ottelia, looking at the gold knight stone on his desk.

"I've had no luck bonding this stone to anybody. It's getting a wee bit tiresome..." Flinn sighed.

A flashback shows Ottelia citizens in line. Flinn and two advisors were running a stand.

"Step right up lads and lasses. Do a noble task for the prince, earn a bit of money, and maybe more." one of the advisors spoke through a loudspeaker.

The fish did various noble tasks, such as community service or helping out fish in need. Flinn put the stone in each taker's hands, but nothing happened. Flinn's advisors paid the takers regardless. Flinn held onto the stone, when Mr. Krabs appeared out of nowhere.

"Ahoy lad, are ye still offerin' money?" Mr. Krabs asked, ending the flashback.

Flinn then saw a vision in the gold stone. It showed Flinn with the guardians and knights, turning into the gold knight. He dropped it in shock.

"Is everything okay, sir?" one of the advisors asked.

"...I think I'm the gold knight." Flinn said, surprised.

Jake and the girls are outside the high school, where it was crowded. Madison sees Trent nearby, worrying her.

"We can't tell Trent his mom is an evil sorceress, right?" Audrey asked.

"Yeah, but I don't know what to do. We don't want an Elana repeat and have her take advantage of him..." Madison said, worried.

"Speaking of Elana, looks like we have to come up with another excuse on why she isn't at school." Tori said.

"So far it's just one day absence, we won't have to make an excuse up...yet." Cynthia said, sighing.

As they walked through the courtyard, Luke is still seen wearing the traffic cone on his head. He goes by the Borok Twins, who laugh.

"Wow Kate, look at that freak." one of them said, laughing.

"I know Courtney, why is he still wearing that?" Kate asked.

"That's right, I'm still wearing this. Nobody is going to stop me!" Luke bragged, as he ran to the entrance eagerly. Gnarly Dewd, Steve and Bryan all laughed at him.

"There's Conehead Luke!" Steve taunted.

"Oh look, it's the three knuckleheads!" Luke replied.

"The what now?" Bryan asked.

"Nothing, it's a nickname my crew made up for you." Luke replied, as he walked off.

"Gnarly doesn't like the sounds of that nickname." Gnarly said.

Bryan tried to trip Luke, but he didn't trip. Luke then lowered his head and poked Bryan with his traffic cone multiple times.

"Stop that, that kind of hurts!" Bryan said.

"Yeah, you don't want to mess with me and my traffic cone." Luke said, going inside.

Four students are seen standing around, after seeing what happened.

"So, is that Luke kid still wearing that stupid traffic cone?" Stan asked.

"Why is it such a big deal? It's just a stupid cone." Kyle replied.

"Kyle. Please, for everyone's sake, shut up." Eric replied.

"Whocaresman" Kenny mumbled, wearing a hoodie.

"Wow, there's a lot of mean people around here." Audrey said, overhearing their conversations.

"Eh, people need to get over it. People will be mean, it's life." Tori said, shrugging.

As they walked by, Madison met up with Trent in a hurry.

"Hey Maddie." Trent said.

"Hey, uh, this is a weird question, but does your mom act odd? Just curious, she kind of acted odd to me that one time when I visited." Madison asked, concerning Trent.

"Well...honestly, she kind of does sometimes. She acted pretty rude to my friends last night for no reason. She can be kind of...ignorant, but she has a heart. I just wish she would stop being so shady." Trent replied, as he thought of his white knight stone bracelet.

"Yeah...I know that feeling." Madison said regrettably, as they went inside and regrouped.

"Hey guys, did you hear the school is starting its own radio today? The WPFR radio station donated some leftover equipment for us." Trent said.

"No, that's cool." Jake replied.

"A school radio? For once, this school has something interesting..." Tori said, curious.

"I'm not sure if I like the idea of you broadcasting across the school." Cynthia replied.

"Where can you sign-up?" Audrey asked.

"Just ask Mr. Flinch over there." Trent said.

Tori approached Mr. Flinch, who was in front of a room with a "P-Fields High" sign.

"Hey dude, is there still a spot open for the school radio?" Tori asked to him, as he flinched.

"Why of course Tori, the more the merrier!" Mr. Flinch replied.

"Sweet, when do we begin?" Tori asked, rubbing her hands.

"Right now, if you don't mind missing some of first period-" Mr. Flinch was saying.

"Works for me." Tori replied, eagerly going into the room, which had been set up with radio equipment.

She saw the Borok Twins, Johnny, and Bryan in there.

"Hi Tori." Johnny said, smiling.

"I really hope I don't regret this." Tori said, sighing.

"Here's a list of stuff you can report on. You can add your own flavor to it I guess, just don't go crazy. Good luck...I really hope I don't regret this." Mr. Flinch said, giving them a paper, and left the room.

"I got this, step aside losers." Bryan said, who took the microphone. "Good morning Posidonia Fields High School, it's me, Bryan Night. Giving a shoutout to everyone, whether you're my friend, or a hater."

"Alright Bryan!" Steve said, as he and Gnarly Dewd cheered.

"Great, I have to listen to this creep." Cynthia sighed, in the hallway with Roxy.

"Yeah, good thing Elana isn't here today to listen to him." Roxy said.

"Yeah..." Cynthia said, having a nervous look.

"So today's lunch is-you know what, forget it. Today, me and my gang saw this weirdo named Luke, still wearing that stupid traffic cone on his head." Bryan rambled.

"Hey, that's me!" Luke said in a hallway.

"He thinks he's better than us, goes poking us with that stupid thing, you know, that thing could be considered a weapon-" Bryan was rambling.

Tori then pushed him out of the seat, and took over. Tori then whispered to the crew, "Uh, what do I say?"

"Just speak from the heart, say what's on your mind, I guess. As long as it's not suspension worthy." Johnny replied.

"I can do that. Alright, I'm Tori Mansen, taking over here. Welcome to P-Fields High, and I'm actually worth listening to. I'll broadcast actual information, and things people care about. So today I signed up for this job, and Mr. Flinch jumped like a baby when I asked him for the job." Tori said, as people began laughing in the halls. Mr. Flinch flinched upon hearing this.

"For today's lunch? Don't even bother trying the soup, trust me, the lunch ladies know it sucks." Tori said, as a lunch lady is shown looking into the soup.

The students in the halls then laughed, as they cheered for Tori. The heroes also slightly laughed.

"Finally, someone who speaks the truth." a student said, impressed.

"Your friend has a real sense of humor, I see." Trent said to the gang.

"Of course she gets popularity for speaking her mind, but I don't." Cynthia said, jealous.

"But you know, let's forget about school gossip, mmkay? You know what's even more ridiculous than school gossip? Politics. I know, nobody wants to hear about it, but I can make politics fun. I personally think we shouldn't allow Ramos to run for a 3rd term, I think 9 years of him is a bit too much. He'll get so old, tired and bored by then. That's why we have weirdos running to be king. That Donald Bucklend guy is a real idiot if he thinks he can be the king. He has no chance, he knows nothing on royalty or politics, he's a joke." Tori bragged, making students laugh.

"He's also a dirty businessman." Johnny said to Tori.

"And he's a dirty businessman, good one! I think we need to reconsider who can run to be king, or queen, you know what, let's have a queen. An actual good one though, like me, but I'm too young." Tori continued, as both her and Johnny laughed. Bryan and the Boroks seemed annoyed.

"I wanted to dish out our own gossip, not get stuck with stupid tech work or listen to her." Courtney said, annoyed.

Tori keeps saying gossip on students, teachers, or unrelated news to the school until the morning announcements, as most students enjoy it. The first period then started, as the crew left the room.

"Hey Tori, you're pretty good at this radio thing. Glad to be...partners. See you at lunch for the next broadcast." Johnny said awkwardly.

"You're...not bad yourself, you gave me some good advice." Tori replied, smiling, as she walked off. "Wait, was I nice to Johnny? That's odd."

Brak is seen outside of Skorch's regeneration chamber.

"Skorch is a fool. I'll have to recapture Central Karmania myself. Then my family will see my fit to be the next king, and I can rule both worlds..." Brak said, laughing.

He meets Deckel and two soldiers upstairs.

"We have...a problem." Deckel said.

"What is it?" Brak asked coldly.

"General Brak, Queen Elana is missing. Rumors say the sorceress who released the prisoners imprisoned her in a jewel. The royal guards are keeping the castle in check however." the soldier reported.

"The sorceress made things easier for us then." Brak replied.

"Aren't you concerned she may use her powers for her own purposes?" another soldier asked.

"We'll just steal them from her when the time is right. Let her think she has won." Brak said.

"We can sit back all we want, but...GAH! Not now, wait your turn!" Deckel said angrily, as he felt pain from the yellow tattoo on his neck.

"Are you alright?" Brak asked.

"Yes...I just...need some privacy." Deckel said strangely, running off in a hurry.

Flinn is seen in his Ottelia office, looking at the stone.

"I need to do something noble to prove I am worthy of this stone's power. But what?" Flinn asked.

"You could do good deeds." one of the advisors suggested.

"Of course, I know what to do..." Flinn said.

Flinn is then seen writing checks for charities at his desk, and hands them off to his advisors. After they are delivered, Flinn holds the stone again, but nothing happens.

"Seems like I need to do more." Flinn said, as he got up and put on a coat.

Flinn is seen with his advisors visiting an orphanage, giving toys to children.

"Bless your heart, Prince Flinn." an adult supervisor said to him.

Flinn walks out, holding the stone again, and nothing happens. He still sees the same vision in it. Flinn is then seen visiting the elderly, giving them gifts.

"Aye, thanks for the new bagpipes!" an old man said, playing them.

Flinn held out the stone again, and nothing happened.

"I think I need to visit the kids in Posidonia." Flinn said.

"Sir, wait. I think you first need to actually train to become this knight, if it even works." an advisor said.

"You have a point. I'm not actually a fighter like those boys were in battle," Flinn said, remembering how the knights fought off Vinerox.

Flinn is seen back in the office stretching, taking off his off his coat. The two advisors stood in front of him, concerned.

"Um, sir, I should warn you we are professionally trained fighters..." one of them said.

"I don't care, just give me your best. I need to improve, and this is the way." Flinn said.

Flinn then ran up to the two, as he tried to hit them. One of the advisors grabbed his fist, twisted it, and threw him across the desk.

"On second thought, this wasn't a good idea." Flinn said.

"I warned ya." he said.

"You know, there's a better alternative to this. Stay right here..." the other said, as he ran off.

They then brought in a robot test dummy, turning it on with a remote.

"What is this?" Flinn asked.

"It's a test dummy, we built it using some Federation machinery they donated. This will help a beginner like you." the advisor said, handing Flinn the remote.

"Excellent, this is better." Flinn said.

He then began to fight the robot, blocking its attacks, and kept training.

Valina is then seen in the cave with the four criminals. She analyzes the four with her staff, and smiles.

"I'm getting tired of this place, how about we get some payback?" Argros asked, crushing his fists together.

"You always want to get payback, cool your jets." Morgana said.

"Actually, surprisingly, he's right. I know you four must want some revenge, so why not go attack them now? They will not expect at all. Go on, here's a portal to Posidonia Fields." Valina said, opening one with her staff.

"Great...except I don't know my way around there, I've never been to the other side before." Argros said, scratching his head.

"Don't worry, me and Morgana have been there before, we can show the way around and stuff." Thorn said.

The four entered into the portal at once, appearing behind a cafe. Morgana and Thorn looked out, as did Argros and Vinerox.

"Stay put you two fools, you don't want to be seen." Morgana said.

"Trust me, I don't want to be seen with you either. I just want to get my revenge..." Vinerox said.

"Do we really have a chance? They could find a way to break our spell..." Argros pondered.

"If only we had like, those mermaid girl powers." Thorn said.

"Hmm... that gives me an idea. Stay put here, someone might be able to help us." Morgana said, as both her and Thorn ran off.

"So, what are ya gonna do after this?" Argros asked to Vinerox.

"I know one thing: After we defeat them, we can get rid of the sorceress too. What do you say?" Vinerox offered.

"What?! You don't know how powerful she is, she scares me. Can we really destroy her?" Argros asked.

"If we work together, we might. Hopefully those girls get some actual power..." Vinerox said.

At lunch, Jake and the girls are seen eating, when Tori finishes early.

"I never see you finish lunch that fast." Cynthia said.

"Yeah, I've got a radio broadcast. I have juicy stories to spill, be sure to tune in, which shouldn't be a problem unless you can't hear!" Tori said, running off.

"I really hope she's not getting obsessed with this." Jake said.

"She's just having fun, she hasn't said anything mean...yet." Madison said.

Tori is then seen broadcasting in the room, as the crew helped set it up.

"Welcome back to P-Fields High, with Tori, yeah, it's me. So today I was in line for lunch, and this one kid took 5 minutes to decide if he wanted an orange or not. Come on dude, it's an orange, not a deluxe meal. Anyways, Vice Principal Rotwell...yeah, that pained me to say too, put in a request as a reminder he has a quiz today in his Mythology class." Tori said.

"That's right." Rotwell said, walking into the cafeteria for lunch duty, scaring students.

"I'm still waiting for the punchline to this vice principal thing, we're all hoping Thomson was joking." Tori said, as students laughed, making Rotwell angry.

"It's not a joke." Thomson said.

"I'm starting to wonder if this was a good idea..." Mr. Flinch wondered, meeting with some teachers.

"She's just having fun, besides, she does throw in actual information in with her jokes." Mrs. Lenden said.

"Alright, one of you can have it now. I'm taking a break." Tori said to the crew, as she left the room, and looked at her green shirt from the window. "Wow, have I really been wearing this all day? Good thing I have my color changing power."

She waved her arms, making her shirt sparkle, turning it from green to red.

"Too bad we have no gossip to report on..." Kate said, when both looked at Johnny, who was doing homework.

"Are you thinking what I'm thinking?" Courtney asked back, as they smiled.

"Oh Johnny..." Kate called to him.

Tori is seen entering back into the cafeteria, with people applauding.

"I'm glad we have someone who isn't afraid to speak her mind!" one of them said.

"I'm glad you are having fun, but don't you think some of the things you're saying about students are kind of mean?" Audrey asked, as two girls looked at Tori angrily.

"I don't care what they think, let the haters hate." Tori said, when the radio came back on.

"Now, here's Johnny Crestmen with his segment on Posidonia Fields High girls!" Kate said, and Tori had a look of horror.

"Uh oh." Tori said.

"Greetings fellow students, it's me, Johnny! You know, there's a lot of cute looking girls in this school, but there is one who is my absolute favorite. That would be Tori Mansen, the girl you've been hearing today. Man, she has a great voice for it. She's amazing, with a great body-" Johnny kept rambling.

Tori then ran off in a hurry.

"Wow, I've never seen Tori go that fast for something since her motorbike race." Audrey said.

As students were either laughing or being happy, Tori immediately ran into the station room. She kicked the Borok twins out, who were smiling. Tori then immediately shut off the radio and stopped Johnny.

"Johnny, you have five seconds to get out of here..." Tori was saying, scaring him.

Bryan then overheard this, as he silently turned the radio to "on air" without either knowing. Tori spoke into it.

"Let me make one thing clear: I do not like or love you you, I will never like you. You are a strange, weird kid, and I want nothing to do with you. You are a loser!" Tori said through the microphone, as it echoed across the whole school. She then realized it was on. "Oh..."

Jake, Trent, Madison, Cynthia and Audrey were shocked, not saying anything.

"Dang. That girl is rude." Luke said.

Later, Tori is seen leaving school with the gang. As they left, people looked at Tori angrily.

"Nice job Mansen, you told that weirdo off. Never knew you had it in you." Steve said to her, standing with Gnarly Dewd and Bryan.

"Yeah...maybe you went too far, though he probably shouldn't have said that either." Jake said.

"I didn't mean it, I guess I was just angry and caught up in the moment. I don't hate him, I just wish he would leave me alone sometimes. If he did, I would like him more. I don't care what others think, why do you think I said whatever on the radio? I just don't want him to hate me." Tori said, admitting her mistake.

"You're going to have to tell him that." Madison said.

Skipper is seen watching "Snail-tective" in Ramos's old room.

"Alright Snail-tective, we've got a mystery on our hands. My grandmother's pie has been stolen." the police officer said, pointing to the missing pie plate on the counter.

"Meow meow." Snail-tective said, as the captions read "It must've been tasty."

Skipper then changes the channel, as "Definitely Bob & The Lazy Cop" comes on. A detective named Bob is seen in an apartment, and a lazy cop is seen slouching on the couch, very tired. The apartment was a mess due to a robbery.

"Alright, there was definitely a robbery. This bookshelf seems to have moved, definitely signs of a struggle. Also, look on the carpet, there appears to be a shoe, this is definitely evidence." Definitely Bob pointed out.

"Uh... what do you think was in that pizza? If it had extra cheese, I don't go well with that..." Lazy Cop asked, tired.

"Wait, this shoe is definitely a size nine. That waiter at the pizza shop was also definitely a size nine, excellent work!" Definitely Bob replied, as Lazy Cop fell asleep.

"Why are there so many stupid programs on?" Skipper asked, when a guard came into the room.

"Sir, two people are here to see you." they said.

Skipper goes out to see Thorn and Morgana, surprising him.

"Oh...hi lady Morgana, it's been a while. I thought you were in rebel jail..." Skipper said.

"I was, but I got out. Wait, are you the king now?" Morgana asked, seeing the crown on his head.

"Yeah, I am! No clue where Ramos is, oh well. Oh hey, you brought a buddy. Are you two friends?" Skipper said, quickly changing the subject, as both Thorn and Morgana seemed annoyed.

"No." both said at once.

"Oh... is she your girlfriend?" Skipper asked curiously.

Morgana and Thorn both blushed, with their faces in disgust.

"NO!" both said angrily.

"We're partners." Morgana corrected, annoyed.

"So you are dating?" Skipper asked.

"Partners for this mission, you ignoramus." Morgana replied.

"Heh, ignoramus, that's a big word. Alright, what do you want?" Skipper asked.

"We want you to give us like guardian powers, or whatever they're called." Thorn said.

"Can you?" Morgana asked.

"I can give you guardian powers if you wish, but I can get into a lot of trouble for this..." Skipper replied.

"You can?" Thorn asked, surprised.

"Yes, I have access to bootleg guardian powers. But I will warn you they don't last long, and they might not be that strong. They are also kinda hard to control." Skipper warned.

"I don't care, we'll take it. We need to crush them." Morgana said.

"Alright, hold still. This will tickle..." Skipper said.

He whispered a spell, letting out an electric pulse at the two. Thorn glowed purple and Morgana glowed black.

"I feel so much stronger." Thorn said.

"You can activate the merfairy powers using this." Skipper said, as two dark electric balls floated into their hands. "Just hold it out when you're ready."

"Excellent, thank you very much." Morgana said, smiling.

"That guy is a total weirdo." Thorn said to Morgana, as they walked out of the castle.

Trent is then seen walking home.

"Man, Madison's friend was kind of a jerk. I hope that's not how she always acts." Trent said concerned, when he entered home. Valina was waiting for him inside.

"Hello Trent." Valina said.

"Uh, hey mom...is everything okay?" Trent asked.

"I need your help with something." Valina said.

"Sure, with what?" Trent asked.

Valina then pressed the white knight stone, transforming Trent into The White Knight again.

"Finally, I am in control again. I will do anything you request, sorceress." The White Knight said, bowing.

"Good, I want you to help some "friends". Follow me." Valina said, escorting him away.

Jake and the girls are seen walking toward the Golden Seahorse, when Morgana appeared out of the shadows, whistling.

"Creepy girl!" Tori said.

"It's Morgana." she taunted, running off.

The five gave chase, when The White Knight appeared out of the shadows, and Morgana got away.

"Not this guy..." Cynthia said.

"There's too many people nearby, we can't fight now!" Madison said, concerned.

The White Knight drew multiple laser arrows with the dagger, firing them. They scattered, as the arrows hit multiple objects and buildings. Suddenly, Flinn's robot test dummy went flying into the scene, landing on The White Knight.

"What is this contraption?" The White Knight asked, pushing it off.

Flinn then appeared with his two advisors, controlling the robot with the remote.

"Prince Flinn? What are you doing here?" Jake asked.

"I will explain in a few, let me robot take care of the troublemaker. Nobody attacks them like that!" Flinn said, making the robot punch at the White Knight, but avoided it.

The White Knight punched right through the robot. He then shot multiple arrows, making it fall back. The White Knight then went running and sliced right through it with the dagger. He turned around, as the robot fell over, exploding. Its head went flying into one of the advisor's arms.

"Why?!" the advisor asked, crying.

"That was a warning. Meet me at the trainyard, if you are brave enough..." The White Knight said to Jake and the girls, walking off.

"This guy really loves abrupt appearances." Tori said.

"Speaking of abrupt, why are you here?" Madison asked to Flinn.

"Sorry for the surprise. We were driving by in the limo when I saw you kids being attacked. That was a robot I was using to train. I think the gold knight stone has chosen me. I keep seeing a vision in it that shows me becoming a knight. However, I've had no luck bonding to it, so I came for your help." Flinn explained to them.

"Come with us. You guys can wait here, I guess." Jake said to the advisors.

"That's fine..." the advisor holding the robot head said, sniffling.

"Let it all out." the other advisor said.

"As you see, the stone will not bond to me, but yet, it keeps showing me this vision. I did everything. I gave money, helped the children and elderly, I trained, and nothing." Flinn explained to Ranen and Mai in the dojo, with everyone listening.

"I am glad you have tried your best, prince. However, it appears the stone does not feel the tasks you have done are of pure heart yet." Mai said.

"What does that mean?" Flinn asked.

"It means that you need to do something that actually helps someone, and not just because it makes you feel better." Ranen continued.

"Yeah, it's like doing a radio broadcast just because it makes you feel better about your own insecurities." Cynthia said snidely to Tori, feeling guilty.

"That's kind of a strange analogy to make, but yeah. You need to do something from the bottom of your heart." Nick said to Flinn.

"...You're right. I'm being selfish. I'm sorry, perhaps I am not worthy of its power." Flinn said, handing it to Ranen.

"No, you are. The stone showed you the vision. But you haven't proven it yet, you must find a way." Ranen said.

"The White Knight said to meet us at the trainyard. It's probably a trap, but..." Madison was saying.

"My scanners say there is Karmanian beast activity there. Since you claim you saw the spider girl, I suspect the other prisoners Valina released are there." Zero explained.

"Flinn, you can come with us. Maybe your first mission can help you bond." Cameron offered.

"Alright, I will do what I can to help." Flinn said.

"While you guys go there, I need to fix something. I promise I'll meet back up." Tori said, running off the other way.

The remaining heroes are seen approaching the trainyard. It is eerily quiet, and nobody is around. They then heard laughing, as Morgana, Vinerox, Argros, Thorn and The White Knight appeared out of hiding, cornering them. Flinn was slightly startled, as the heroes powered up. Madison immediately shot an electricity ball at The White Knight, who jumped away from it. Thorn and Morgana just stood there while the others attacked.

"So, are you girls just surrendering already?" Nick asked.

"Not quite." Morgana said.

The two activated the dark electricity balls. The two then began to transform into dark guardians, shocking everyone. Thorn began to grow a dark green mermaid tail, purple wings, purple eyeliner, and had purple leaves covering her chest. Morgana grew a black mermaid tail, white wings, black eyeliner, and a black shirt. Valina watched from the distance, surprised.

"You got mermaid fairy forms?" Argros asked.

"That's nice, but I thought when you were getting powers, it was for all of us." Vinerox said, annoyed.

"Yeah, you should've communicated on that better. We only got these dark guardian powers for ourselves, sorry not sorry. I just hope they work..." Morgana said.

"Dark guardians? I don't know how that is possible, but gosh, those designs look hideous." Cynthia said, throwing a rock at Thorn.

"I feel the element of poison with me, please work!" Thorn said.

She shot an acidic blast from her left hand at the rock, slicing through it. Jake and Cameron dodged the remains. Morgana then tried to form a dark ball and throw it at Madison, but it vanished. She angrily kept trying to form one.

"Looks like someone's powers don't work that well." Madison taunted, hitting Morgana with an electricity ball, sending her flying on top of a cargo cart.

"Hey, what's going on?" Thorn asked to Morgana, as both floated up.

"Skipper said these were hard to control, so we have to just hope some attacks will work..." Morgana said.

"The green knight..." Thorn said angrily, seeing Nick.

Thorn then tried to shoot poison darts at Nick, but they went the other way. Vinerox was shooting vines at Audrey, and the darts hit him, making him fall. Audrey lifted him up in a gust of wind, sending him twirling. Flinn cheered, but Argros appeared behind him. Argros threw his fist, and Flinn barely dodged.

"Prince, you must get to safety. I don't know if you can handle them." Zero said, helping Flinn get up.

Flinn nodded, hiding behind a cart and watched. The knights then attacked The White Knight, Argros and Vinerox, while the girls kept dealing with Thorn and Morgana above.

Tori is then seen approaching Johnny's house, throwing a rock at a window. Johnny opened it, looking out to see who was there. Seeing it was Tori, he was annoyed and walked away.

"Johnny, open up." Tori said.

Tori then saw a fire hydrant, getting on top of it. She used her powers to make it shoot up like a rocket. She jumped off, and hanged onto the window ledge. She knocked on the window again. Johnny looked, and was confused.

"How did you get up here? Just go away." Johnny said.

"Listen, Johnny, I'm sorry. I really didn't want to say those things" Tori said.

"You're just saying that so you'll feel better, not me." Johnny replied.

"No, I do mean this, I hope. I just felt embarrassed when you said that about me, but I appreciated it deep down. I was just too obsessed with fame, and I guess I let popularity get to me when you said those things. I guess I didn't think that I can hurt people. I resigned from the radio because of it." Tori said.

"I'll admit in hindsight saying that on air wasn't the brightest idea either. Maybe I'm at fault too, I can't force you to like me." Johnny realized.

"Yeah, I'm deeply sorry. Can we at least be friends?" Tori offered.

"That's fine." Johnny replied.

"Oh, and despite what people will say, you're not a loser. Remember to stay gold. If anything, I am a loser for being a jerk. Okay, I kind of have to go now before I fall." Tori said, barely holding on.

"Thanks, that means a lot. Do you want help-" Johnny was asking, as Tori fell into the bush below.

Back at the trainyard, Thorn tried to form a puddle of purple acid below Nick, but it instead appeared near Argros.

"Watch it!" Argros yelled.

"Sorry, I'm not that great with these powers." Thorn said.

Madison then hit Thorn with an electricity bolt, sending her colliding into Morgana. Audrey then twirled both around in a gust, and sent them flying to the ground. Morgana then angrily shot a dark energy wave at all three.

"Hey, that worked." Morgana said, smiling.

Tori ran into the area, panting.

"F-finally, I-I made it! Transform me!" Tori begged.

"What were you doing?" Cynthia asked, throwing a boulder at Thorn, avoiding it. It went smashing onto a cargo cart.

"Just fixing some things." Tori said, as Madison transformed Tori with the heart. "How are they mermaids!?"

"I don't know, it must be some dark power. Maybe Valina gave it to them. Just help us fight them, the guys have the others." Madison said.

Tori launched water waves at Thorn, but she dodged. She sent poison darts back, but Tori stopped them with a water shield. Tori and Audrey launched an ice beam at Thorn, trapping her, but she melted it. As Thorn and Morgana were ready to attack, their powers got weaker. Suddenly, their guardian forms vanished, as they fell.

"No fair!" Thorn yelled.

"It was fun while it lasted. Let's finish them." Morgana said, as both transformed into their beast forms. Morgana shot a web at Audrey, who blew it away. Tori then trapped Morgana in a whirlpool, and sent a water blast at her.

Zero shocked Vinerox, who fell back. Argros shot a hyper beam at Zero, and barely dodged. It went exploding into a cargo cart. Nick then jumped up and punched Argros in the face. The White Knight shot laser arrows at Cameron, but he used his stone to reflect them back at the knight, making him slip a bit.

"New powers won't save you for long." The White Knight said, as he ran up and sliced Cameron the same way he did to the robot. Cameron fell to the ground, as the knight approached, readying his laser arrows.

"No!" Jake yelled, as he was tied up with Vinerox, while Nick and Zero were busy with Argros.

Flinn jumped out, punching The White Knight. It made his arrows go flying, hitting Vinerox and Argros instead. Flinn helped Cameron get back up, as his stone glowed gold. Flinn then transformed into the gold knight, as he waved his cape. Everyone was surprised.

"Another one!?" Vinerox asked angrily.

"No." The White Knight said coldly.

"He did it!" Cynthia said, using her telekinesis powers to hit Thorn with wood from the cargo cart.

"I finally did it! Whoa, cool cape." Flinn said surprised, and pulled out a gold sword.

"Excellent work, prince. Help us finish them!" Jake said.

The White Knight shot more laser arrows at Flinn, but he quickly deflected them with his gold sword. He then ran up and hit the White Knight, sending him flying to the ground. Argros then tripped Flinn with his tail.

"Still a bit rusty..." Flinn said, getting up.

Argros tried to dig underground, but Jake attacked him. The girls attacked Morgana and Thorn, sending them flying into Argros and Vinerox, tumbling to the ground. Thorn and Morgana were back in their normal forms. Cynthia and Tori trapped the four with a whirlpool and rock combination. Jake and Flinn approached The White Knight, but he quickly ran off.

"Good luck, don't forget about our little spell..." Morgana taunted.

"That's right, will Zero's stone work?" Audrey asked.

Zero held out his stone on the four, but nothing happened.

"This only works on potion magic, not for curses. I don't know what to do." Zero said.

"Wait, perhaps I can do something. I feel my stone is calling me..." Flinn said.

He held out sword, which glowed gold. He then let out magical slices at all four, breaking off darkness around them. Valina then smiled.

"NO!" Argros yelled.

"Did you...break their spells?" Tori asked.

"I think I did. That's pretty cool." Flinn said.

"You're going back." Jake said, holding out his scanner, stunning them.

"Let me finish them, it's the least I can do." Tori said.

She let out a water blast on the unit, imprisoning all four again. All nine powered down. Flinn held onto his stone, smiling.

"Nice job dude, welcome to the team." Tori said, as they shook his hand.

The heroes are seen with Flinn in front of the limo. Zero hands him his own knight bracelet with the gold stone in it.

"This is your own bracelet. You can use it to keep in touch with us and transform." Zero said.

"Thank you, I am honored. However, I cannot be a regular member of your group. Ottelia needs me, I have a job. But if you ever need my help, I will be available." Flinn said.

"Yeah, having nine people together regularly is awkward, I like an even number. Still, I wish you luck." Nick said.

"The stone is in good hands." Cameron said.

"We'll take your help anytime, prince." Jake said.

Flinn bid farewell to them, getting into the limo, which drove off.

"Are you going doing the radio again tomorrow?" Audrey asked Tori.

"No, I resigned. It's for the best, trust me. I felt like a jerk after what I did with Johnny, but I think we patched things up." Tori said.

"Radio? What did I miss?" Nick asked.

"It's a long story." Madison said, making Tori laugh.

Thorn, Morgana, Argros and Vinerox are seen in prison cells again.

"Someone better bail me out again!" Vinerox demanded, trying to shoot his vines through the cell, but the electricity stopped him.

Suddenly, Valina appeared in her cloak in front of them.

"Hey, are you letting us out again?" Argros asked.

She didn't reply. Valina holds her staff out, and dark essences are pulled out of the four, being absorbed into her staff.

"What did you do!?" Vinerox asked.

"I never cared about your vengeance. Did you really think they wouldn't break the spell? I just needed you four to distract the guardians. I only wanted them to keep fighting you to increase my spell's powers, and you charged it up enough. The only thing I didn't intend was for Deckel to leave, but he was useless anyways. Thanks for the help. All your energy is mine." Valina said, smiling at them.

She then teleports away laughing, shocking all four.

"That's...mean." Thorn said.

"Welcome back, friends! Why aren't you happy?" Boboo asked from a cell.

Loved this episode, i really enjoyed seeing the prince joins as temporary knight to their team, and Tori has best humor to me liking it.

Very good episode!

  • I found Thorn/Morgana becoming dark fairies to be interesting, even though they don't hold a candle to the girls.
  • I liked the subplot with Tori and the radio station. Although it probably was best that she resigned.
  • I really liked Flinn as the Gold Knight, and I look forward to more appearances from him.
  • I thought Val was really cold at the end to the others, but she's definitely not anything if not great at manipulating circumstances.

Very neat. The South Park reference combined with the whole radio subplot reminded me of the South Park episode where Cartman was Glenn Beck. XD And of course, Zero, the silver knight, is the one to give Flinn the gold stone, now that we have (Pokemon) gold and silver on the knight team.

39. Skorch Strikes

Skorch's chamber opens up. He walks out with steam coming off of him.

"I feel stronger than ever. The fire burns through me." Skorch said, feeling his hands burn.

He walked into the command room, meeting up with Deckel, Brak, Broodwing and soldiers.

"Admiral, you're back." Brak said.

"Yes, it is time we strike Central Karmania. There will be no mercy." Skorch said.

"You're in luck, since Queen Elana has been kidnapped by the sorceress. Now there's nothing in our way." Brak said.

"Good. Launch everything we have available, and I will personally destroy the guardians myself." Skorch vowed.

"Admiral, I have a new type of Slayer just for this. Introducing the green headed Commando Slayer." Broodwing said, holding out a green triangle ball.

He threw it, forming a green Slayer. It had a green triangle head with a red eye, and green wings.

"I hope these are more effective than the others, which have become nothing but rubbish!" Deckel said.

"These are the most powerful Slayer, even better than the oranges. They have aerial skills to combat the guardians's flight. Of course, they come at a price-" Broodwing was saying, making Skorch angrily walk to him.

"Forget payment. Ramos and I have given you enough money for your ineffectual weaponry. These ones...are on the house, Broodwing." Skorch demanded, staring at him with his dead white eyes.

"...Of course, admiral. They can be yours...for free." Broodwing said annoyed.

"They better work, because your others appear to be low on energy..." Skorch said, walking up to an Orange Slayer.

Skorch then bit its head off with his dragon teeth, with magma drooling from his mouth.

"I think that was a bit...unnecessary." Deckel said.

Madison is seen in Rotwell's class.

"Today we will be learning about a few so-called "mythical" creatures, such as the Sea Unicorn, Kraken, and the Charybdis." Rotwell rambled.

"I guess this is better than pointless bizarro theories." Madison said to herself.

"Remember when we saw a sea unicorn in the woods, professor?" Johnny asked.

"Yes, if only one of us had taken a photo, but live and learn!" Rotwell said, as he continued teaching.

Madison slightly dozed off, having a peculiar dream. She saw Valina headed to Gus's MotorAuto shop. She immediately woke up, gasping.

"What is it, Landers?" Rotwell asked.

"Nothing, it's just learning about these creatures has me gasp a lot." Madison lied.

"Good, I wouldn't want any issues, especially when I am the vice principal." Rotwell bragged, making Madison and some students nervous.

After school, Madison is seen with the gang worryingly.

"I don't know if I am right, but I think we have to go to Gus's. He might be in trouble..." Madison said, concerned.

"How do you know?" Tori asked, surprised.

"I saw a vision of Valina at his shop. I don't know what's going on, but if my past dream taught anything, maybe it's true." Madison said.

The heroes are all seen there, looking around for anything suspicious.

"Are you sure about this?" Cameron asked.

"Yes, my dream of Valina breaking into the rebel prison came true, so maybe this will too. I don't want something bad to happen." Madison said.

Nick waved his fin through the air, analyzing the area with the green aura.

"Someone's hiding..." Nick said suspiciously.

Valina is seen sitting on a motorbike behind them, and whistles. They all turn around, surprised.

"You!" Cynthia said.

"Yes, it's me. I take it by now you know who I really am." Valina said smugly.

"Yes we do, miss Valina, aka Valentina, aka Vina, whatever your real name is!" Nick said.

"I'm not here to fight. I just wanted to let you know that Admiral Skorch and his Battlestar forces plan to attack Central Karmania any second now." Valina warned.

"How do we know you aren't lying?" Cynthia asked.

"Who the heck is Admiral Skorch?" Audrey asked.

"Are we pronouncing that with a c or k?" Nick asked confused.

"We could stay here and fight, or you could worry about the Battlestar attacking your precious kingdom. After all, it has no queen..." Valina smiled, holding out Elana's jewel, making Cynthia very angry.

"Are we really taking her blackmail?" Cameron asked.

"We don't really have a choice..." Tori said.

"I don't care, whatever you are up to, we're not going to let it happen!" Madison said, pulling out the heart.

"Not even going to fight? I bet your friend Cassidy wouldn't be happy to see you chickening out like this." Cynthia mocked, making Valina angry.

"Silence! You have no idea what she meant to me..." Valina said, closing her eyes, and electricity sparked through her hair.

"It's my dad!" Tori said, as Hank's cop boat drove towards them, and Madison put the heart away. Valina made herself teleport away. Hank stopped the boat by them.

"How are you and your crew doing today, Tori?" Hank asked.

"Fine, dad." Tori replied.

"I got a report about train carts being mysteriously vandalized yesterday. Any of you know anything about this?" Hank asked.

"Nope." they replied awkwardly.

"Alright, this is gonna be a tough case. Must have been a bunch of teenagers. See you soon for dinner, Tori!" Hank said, driving off.

They run off to Ranen's dojo. Gus later walks out of the store, looking around.

"What's the ruckus out here? I swear I heard some commotion, now I see nothin' and nobody." Gus said, scratching his head.

Valina teleports into Gus's experiment room.

"I don't like combining magic and technology, but this fool has something useful. He was able to turn himself into Motordrone with this, which I'm going to need..." Valina said, taking motor equipment. She teleported away.

Gus sees the portal flash, running inside.

"Alright, now I know somebody is here! Where are-WHOA!" Gus yelled, slipping on an area with a "Wet Floor" sign, falling to the ground. "Ouch."

The heroes are seen at the dojo.

"Good work on imprisoning the beasts who escaped, however, you forgot Deckel." Ranen said.

"...Oh right, we did. The thing is sir, he wasn't with them." Jake said.

"We haven't seen him in a while." Cameron said.

"We can track Deckel later, there's a problem. Valina confronted us, claiming someone named Admiral Skorch is going to attack Central Karmania today with his Battlestar army. We don't know if she speaks the truth, but we must stand on guard in case." Zero explained.

"Skorch...I have heard this name. He is the leader of Battlestar, and a ferocious beast. The Battlestar is a Karmanian exclusive militant-wing for the Federation. They hire beasts to work for them without being criminals. Their numbers have slowly diminished due to our work. However, their technology is extensive, and may be enough for an assault." Ranen said.

"Skorch? That's a weird name, why use k instead of c?" Nick asked.

"Didn't the Karmanian Council say their base is in Western Karmania?" Madison recalled.

"I've been to Western Karmania before, it's not fun. It's mostly deserts, mountains and volcanoes, filled with vicious beasts. The Battlestar base being there is a perfect cover, figuring nobody would dare go." Ranen said.

"I just realized, if we attack them, wouldn't that be an act of war on another kingdom?" Cameron questioned.

"If they attack us, it's already war anyways, so what's your point?" Cynthia said.

"All we need to focus on is defending the kingdom. First, help the royal guards. We can worry about the base afterwards." Ranen said.

"Sounds like a plan." Tori said.

Back in the Battlestar base, the troops and Slayers lined up for battle. Skorch hands Deckel a black sword, who smiles.

"This is a powerful blade. I am entrusting it to you, general." Skorch said.

"Thank you sir. I promise to use it to slay those bad children, and any rebel who gets in our way..." Deckel said oddly.

"Good. Brak, use your machines to boost us." Skorch ordered.

Brak did so, as Skorch and Deckel got power boosts. After Deckel got his, the yellow tattoo on his neck was glowing, and he struggled to stay still.

"AH! No, what are you doing?!" Deckel yelled.

Deckel oddly glowed yellow, transforming into his dragon form. Something was different about it. The glowing eyes on it went under the navy skin. It stood up, showing its yellow dragon eyes, and holding the sword.

"So you transformed into your beast form. I'm not seeing the problem, Deckel." Brak said.

"Fool, I'm not Deckel. I'm Gride." Gride introduced, with a voice completely different than Deckel's.

"What's going on?" Skorch asked.

"I am Deckel's other half. Unlike other shapeshifting Karmanian beasts, we are two separate beings. For too long that fool has kept me mute!" Gride explained.

"Why are just now hearing this?" Brak asked.

They heard a noise, as Gride pulled out an odd navy watch, which glowed yellow around it. It opened to show Deckel's face.

"It's true. For the longest time, I was able to control Gride's actions, keeping him off to the side using my magic element. However, ever since the sorceress casted that spell, I've been slowly losing control over his personality, and now it seems we've split apart again." Deckel said, sighing.

"You had your fun, now I will assist in battle!" Gride said.

"I don't care who you are, just help us." Skorch said.

"Yes, us dragons need to stay together." Gride replied.

"You can have your fun I suppose, but don't blow it." Deckel said sternly in the watch.

"Now, launch everything and everyone. There are no brakes on this invasion, we will not rest until Central Karmania is ours!" Skorch yelled, with soldiers cheering.

Royal guards are inside Elana's castle, keeping Vince and Mariette safe.

"Stay here, we fear your lives may be in danger. The Battlestar may attack." a soldier said.

"We can hold our own, but thanks." Vince said.

Outside, multiple soldiers are seen with cannons, catapults and more ready to attack. A lone Battlestar soldier runs up in front of the castle.

"So uh, I guess we're invading you? I dunno, I haven't really been paying attention-" the soldier was saying, confused.

A royal guard fired the catapult, making a boulder land on the soldier.

"Ow..." the soldier groaned.

"That was their army? Looks like this'll be done fas-" Tori asked.

Suddenly, brown and red hover ships flew out of Battlestar base mountain. Slayers and beast troops marched through the border.

"Never mind." Tori sighed.

The royal guards sounded a horn, echoing across, notifying civilians Central Karmania was under attack. Many got indoors as a result. Diggy hears the horn at his hangout spot.

"That's not good. Uh... we're going to have to close early gang!" Diggy said to his friends, as they left, and he fled inside his trailer.

The guardians, knights and Ranen are seen outside the castle. They saw the stampede of warriors and Slayers headed their way, with ships hovering above.

"Oh boy." Jake said, as they powered up.

Meanwhile, Mai visits the Posidonia Fields Cemetery. She leaves a bunch of flowers at a tombstone for "Cassidy Quigley".

"Hopefully, someday we'll meet again." Mai said, leaving.

Valina appears from behind a tree.

"It'll be sooner than you think." Valina replied.

She passes by Tristan Smith's tombstone, giving it a kick. She approaches Cassidy's, showing a bitter look. She shoots an aether shock into the ground, whispering a spell. Out from the ground appears Cassidy as a ghost in her young form, wearing white robes. She yawns and rubs her eyes.

"I'm back? Oh...Val, it's been...a long time. You haven't aged a bit, literally, you haven't aged at all." Cassidy said, confused and shocked.

"I...apologize for anything I may have had to do with your...unfortunate accident." Valina struggled to say.

"That's funny. "May have"? That's like saying I may have done some questionable things on prom night." Cassidy joked.

"Cassidy, I didn't raise you to joke around, I'm trying to make things right." Valina said.

"Yeah, it's kind of 35-ish years too late for that, hun." Cassidy said.

"I couldn't sleep for nights. I never meant to hurt you, I was out of control." Valina said.

"Val, it's time to move on. Where I was, we don't hold grudges. But you have the unfortunate pleasure of living here, while I... yeah. Look, I don't really want to be here, just send me back." Cassidy demanded.

"Why don't I show you what you've missed in the past 35 years? I feel a responsibility, since we were guardians. I'll send you back after, I promise. I felt bad I took your life away." Valina said.

"...Alright. Even though it sounds like a family trip I can't get out of, I can do that, just no tricks or strings. Promise?" Cassidy said.

"Promise." Valina said.

Back in Central Karmania, the Battlestar was in full force.

"Those ships kind of look like that one Drew used." Audrey said, pointing to one hovering above.

"Yeah, they're Federation hover ships, the Battlestar must've made their own." Cameron replied.

The ships opened up, dropping large metal eggs to the ground. They cracked, and out appeared large metal snakes. They slithered towards the castle, as the heroes attacked back with the soldiers. Meanwhile, Slayers and beast soldiers marched their way down below, but royal soldiers held them off. Skorch is seen in a larger red ship with Gride and Brak. The ship hovers up above, showing a hologram of Skorch across the skies, which the heroes see while fighting.

"Attention residents of Central Karmania. I am Admiral Skorch, this kingdom now belongs to Battlestar. Unless you surrender, soon there'll be nothing left." Skorch announced through it.

"Jeez, that is one ugly dragon." Cynthia said, throwing a rock at a metal snake, which tumbled back.

Tori spun a metal snake around in a whirlpool, sending it flying. Madison sent an electricity blast at two more, sending them into beast soldiers. Audrey turned invisible, re-appearing behind soldiers. She spun them around in a gust, sending them flying right at Tori, who countered with a water blast, freezing them solid. Nick used his knight stone to run fast, jump up, and punch a soldier in the face, falling to the ground. Zero let out electric shocks at soldiers and Slayers.

"Madison, let's try a combination." Zero suggested to her.

Madison nodded, shooting an electricity blast at Zero's sword, which deflected the bolt at Slayers, exploding. In the forests, the royal guards fought off soldiers and metal snakes with Cameron and Jake. Cameron powered up his sword with the knight stone, and sliced through an Orange Slayer. Jake then used his stone to block a soldier's club, cutting through it with his sword, punching them. Cameron charged up his handgun with the stone, firing powerful blasts at the enemies. Ranen and several soldiers tried to tame the metal snakes, fighting them off. Ranen avoided one's tail, jumping up. He sliced at the snake's tooth with an old sword, cutting it off. The metal snake cried, as Ranen punched it in the face, knocking it out. The heroes regrouped back outside the castle.

"Wow, if that was their army, it wasn't a good one." Tori said.

"It's not over yet..." Jake said, seeing the ships flying.

"Stay here, we'll fight off remaining forces in the forests." Ranen said to them, going off with guards.

The Battlestar generals looked at the progress from their ship.

"They've taken the bait. Now to lure them in, go down." Skorch ordered.

Brak and Gride stood on a pad, teleporting them below in front of the gang. Gride sent powerful slashes from the sword, sending magical blasts at all eight and soldiers, knocking them back.

"Isn't that Deckel?" Audrey asked concerned.

"About time you showed your face again." Cynthia said.

"I'm not that fool, I'm Gride, his stronger half! I'll obliterate you all!" Gride bragged, about to attack, when he felt pain from the yellow tattoo on his neck. "WAIT!"

Gride then transformed into Deckel, confusing the gang.

"Please excuse my other half, he is...rude." Deckel said, smiling and laughing.

"Wait, his beast form is another being entirely? That's weird." Nick said, surprised.

"It's logically impossible, since all shapeshifting Karmanian beasts we've met are the same in both forms." Zero said.

"Guess this one's an exception. Aw man, we don't have Flinn here to break his spell..." Jake said.

"Then we'll just have to break the rest of him." Cynthia said, smiling.

Deckel looked at his watch, seeing Gride's face inside.

"Don't do anything too stupid!" Gride said annoyed.

"I won't, let's just do this the easy way." Deckel said, lifting up his goggles.

Light shined from his eyes, as the eight looked away, along with soldiers. Zero ran up and punched him in the stomach, sending him to the ground, and his goggles flying. Brak attacked Zero with his staff. Deckel got up, putting the goggles back on. He grabbed the sword and sent magical slashes at soldiers. Brak pulled out a laser gun, firing at Madison, who countered with electricity. Audrey and Tori sent an ice beam right to Brak, but deflected it with his staff. Cynthia made the ground Brak is standing on crack, but jumped off of it.

"This dude is a ninja, he can't stay still!" Tori said, trying to shoot hydro blasts at him, but Brak kept running, firing his gun at several soldiers.

Nick slashed his sword, but Brak grabbed it. He held on, and kicked Nick in the stomach, sending him flying with the sword. Cameron tried to attack from behind, but Brak knocked him back with his staff. Deckel sent another magical slash at all four knights, knocking them down.

"Are you guys alright?" Madison asked.

"I'll live, but he's tough." Jake said, getting up.

"Too bad you guys are stuck on the ground, we have aerial mobility!" Cynthia said, throwing a boulder at Deckel, slicing it in half with the sword.

"Oh really?" Brak said, laughing.

"Now, unleash them!" Deckel yelled above.

From below the main ship, multiple green Slayer balls were dropped. They formed the Green Slayers in the sky, which flew down with their wings, all staring menacingly.

"Great, just what we needed, new types of these things..." Tori said.

"We've destroyed them plenty of times before, what makes these different?" Cynthia asked.

"These can fly. I am scanning them, and they are extremely upgraded compared to the others. Approach them with caution." Zero warned.

Broodwing is seen hanging upside-down from a tree in the forest, watching the battle.

"Excellent, destroy them." Broodwing said.

The Green Slayers flew up at once, firing powerful lasers at the girls, who barely avoided them. However, the lasers looped back around at the girls, striking them down to the ground.

"Oh no, these lasers are not ordinary lasers...they are heat-seeking." Zero realized, fighting off Brak.

"I'm fine, but that's gonna leave a mark on my back..." Cynthia said.

"So these lasers will keep chasing us until we get hit?" Madison asked.

"Madison, remember, you can control machines. You just need to resist the blasts long enough, and use the Slayers against each other." Zero said.

"Alright, we'll take to the skies, while you handle them." Madison said.

The four girls flew up, shooting attacks at the Green Slayers, barely hurting them. Cynthia threw a boulder at one, but vaporized it with its red eye. It fired a heat-seeking laser at her, barely avoiding it. It turned around, and Cynthia tried to outfly it. Another Green Slayer sent one flying at her, as both hit her at once, knocking her down.

Valina is seen with Cassidy's spirit, looking at the park.

"Isn't the park beautiful?" Valina asked.

"Yeah, it looks almost the same as it did 35 years ago. Impressive." Cassidy replied.

"Does it make you want to live?" Valina asked.

"Not really, it's a park." Cassidy replied, chuckling.

Valina then shows her a view of Ramos's castle.

"Does this make you want to live again?" Valina asked.

"Haha, no. I guess the castle's nice, but I don't want to be reminded of the psycho royal family." Cassidy replied.

"I'll admit this was a bad choice." Valina said. They were seen on a beach, looking out at the ocean.

"How about this?" Valina asked.

"Oh man, I remember when we went to this beach as a group, good times. Too bad it's a transparent offer." Cassidy said, dancing across the water.

"Don't you want to relive those memories?" Valina asked from the shore.

"I'd love to swim again and feel the sand, but I've let go of this world." Cassidy replied.

"How about this?" Valina asked, showing her the Posidonia Fields High School.

"This place looks different. I remember high school years, some good and bad times. I'm not really wanting to relive for school again though." Cassidy replied.

"I just want the memories to flow. I'll find something that makes you want to live, Cassidy." Valina said.

"You can try all you want, but it's not gonna happen." Cassidy said smugly.

"Looks like we have a competition then." Valina said, smiling.

"Yeah, just like old times. But I'm going to win, y'know. I just really wanna be back at the great beyond where it's a paradise." Cassidy replied.

Back in Central Karmania, the heroes still fight off the Battlestar. As the girls deal with the new Slayers, several Battlestar ships go flying towards them. Madison shoots a lightning bolt right through one, and the beast soldier piloting it ejects himself out before explosion. Audrey avoids a Green Slayer's laser, and manages to barely send it exploding into another Battlestar ship, as a blue Slayer goes falling out.

As the guys keep fighting below, the blue Slayer lands on top of Deckel. He pushes it off, and feels his yellow tattoo glowing, making Gride appear.

"My turn, I'll trash them!" Gride yelled, powering up the sword.

He sent a magical blast right at Jake, but blocked it with his stone's shield. Brak fought off Cameron and Nick, as Nick was able to trip him a bit. Cameron punched him in the face, getting him off guard, as he went twirling a bit.

"Not bad, but not enough!" Brak said.

Up above, Madison made two more ships explode. Tori used water from a lake below to lasso a Green Slayer, pulling it down, struggling to break free. Cynthia threw a boulder right at it before it could get loose. It was half-damaged, sparking. Madison used her Aether powers to control it.

"I am at your command." the Green Slayer spoke, as Madison smiled.

She made it shoot the heat-seeking lasers at the other Green Slayers, as they all exploded.

"NO!" Brak yelled, seeing them explode, as Cameron hit him again.

"It's times like this I'm actually glad I can control machines!" Madison said.

"Beam me down." Skorch said angrily to the pilot.

The eight regrouped, as Skorch teleported down in front with Brak and Gride.

"So you're Skorch? How do you even spell that? Is it Scorch with a c or Skorch with the k? Because the second one is grammatically incorrect, and also kinda weird." Nick said, making Skorch growl.

"I think his name is the least of our problems." Tori said.

"Impressive, you are miracles. How you even got this far amazes me. But this is as far as you'll go." Skorch said.

He lets out a powerful fire aura from his body, shooting it at all eight, sending them to the ground, smoking.

"How can he use fire, isn't this place technically underwater?" Cynthia asked, confused.

"Technically, no. Karmania is in another dimension, it's neither on land nor underwater, so Fire can be an elemental power here. Not all Karmanians resemble aquatic creatures either." Zero explained.

"If this isn't underwater, I kinda wonder how we're even alive right now..." Tori said.

"Do not overthink this, just attack them!" Zero said, changing the subject.

Skorch made a bunch of fireballs appear around him, firing them at once. They went scorching everywhere, as one hit a castle turret. Skorch threw out more Green Slayers, which fired lasers while flying. Skorch stomped on the ground, making magma burst out of cracks, hitting the gang.

"I hope these aren't third-degree burns, because this will so ruin my tan come summer!" Cynthia said, annoyed.

She made the ground crack where the three were standing, but they jumped off. Skorch shot a fireball at her, sending her into the castle wall. However, Cynthia used her telekinesis power to make a tree grab Brak and Gride.

"Let me go!" Brak demanded.

Skorch scorched the tree, letting both go. A Green Slayer flew down in front of Cameron, firing the heat-seeking laser. He activated his stone's reflection power, reflecting it at the Slayer's head. He sent the remains flying at Gride, who sliced it in half with the sword.

"I knew Broodwing's machines were useless!" Gride yelled.

"Not entirely, they will make a good distraction while they are in position. Power up the obliterator!" Skorch ordered.

The red ship above powered up a red beam from the front, aiming it at the heroes. Tori let out a hydro blast at Skorch, which made him steam a bit, but stood strong.

"Water may douse fire, but the fire above will obliterate you." Skorch said.

"Are you trying poetry or something?" Tori asked.

As half the team tried to deal with the Green Slayers and generals, the other half attacked Skorch. Nick ran up fast to Skorch and tried to punch him, but Skorch grabbed him by the fist, twisting it.

"Ow!" Nick yelled.

Skorch threw Nick upward, yelling, going flying into the forests faraway. Cynthia made rocks rise up around him, but Skorch broke them open with his fists. While distracted, Madison shot a lightning strike from her hand at him, which knocked him down. Skorch then shot multiple fireballs at her.

"Oh come on, that's not fair-" Madison was saying, sending her flying into a tree.

Nick ran back to the area with his super speed, attacking Gride. Cameron sent charged up handgun blasts at the Green Slayers, but they flew out of the way. Skorch punched the ground again, making magma burst out, hitting all four knights.

"Okay, this guy is getting annoying." Cameron said.

"I concur. Perhaps we can use these Slayers' lasers against them. Follow my lead." Zero said.

He jumped in front of a Green Slayer, firing a heat-seeking laser. Zero ran, getting in front of Skorch. Before Skorch could punch him, Zero quickly jumped out of the way, as the laser hit Skorch.

"Now Tori!" Zero ordered.

Tori sent a whirlpool blast at Skorch, hurting him everywhere.

"NO!" Skorch yelled, as she sent hydro blasts at him.

A Green Slayer got in her way, but Madison sent a powerful lightning bolt at it, making it go crashing into a castle wall. Audrey let out a gust of wind onto Skorch's whirlpool, freezing him alive. Brak tried break open the ice, when Skorch's mouth glowed red, using magma to melt it. He fell out injured, with smoke coming off.

"Sir, the obliterator is nearly finished charging." the pilot said through a communicator.

"Beam us up!" Brak ordered.

Skorch, Gride and Brak disappeared in a teleportation, going back inside the ship. The Green Slayers flew around the eight, getting them in position of the obliterator beam.

"Uh guys, look above..." Nick said, seeing the beam charging up.

"This was all according to plan..." Cameron said.

"Wait, I have a plan. It's risky, but it's our best option. Let's lure them right to their own base, and we can trick them into obliterating it. When they don't expect it, the girls can attack the ship, sending it hopefully crashing into their own base...hopefully." Zero said.

"Wow, that's a good idea, doc." Cynthia said.

"Alright, let's follow that ship!" Jake said, as they saw a Battlestar ship flying toward Western Karmania.

The eight broke through the Green Slayers, avoiding laser blasts.

"What are they doing?" Gride asked.

"It appears they figured out our plan. No matter, we'll hunt them down and turn them, along with wherever they are, into ash! Follow them!" Skorch ordered the pilot.

Back in Posidonia Fields, Valina shows Cassidy sick children in a hospital.

"Those poor kids..." Cassidy said, feeling one.

"I recall you wanted to be a doctor. You could've helped them." Valina said.

"I also recall having a dream about eating a giant chocolate bar, where's that?" Cassidy joked.

"You were always compassionate to all living things." Valina said.

"Yeah, too bad I'm not living." Cassidy said.

"You could again." Valina offered.

"Nah, nice try." Cassidy replied.

They are seen outside Valina's house, looking through the window to see Trent playing a video game.

"This is my house. That's my son." Valina introduced.

"...You...have a son?" Cassidy asked, surprised.

"Yes, it's just us two." Valina said.

"...Who was his father?" Cassidy asked curiously.

"I don't want to talk about it. But doesn't the idea of children make you want to live again?" Valina asked.

"No, believe me, having kids was one of my worst nightmares. Just give it up Val. I appreciate what you're doing, but it's not going to happen. Just send me back. I don't know if this life is worth living when it might not even really exist. Whose to say we're even real? What if we're just the figments of some weird guy's imagination?" Cassidy asked, annoying Valina.

"When were you so philosophical? fine. There is one last place I'll take you. But I have to do something, I...promised Trent. Can you wait here? I won't take long." Valina said to her.

"Yeah, I don't really have anywhere else to go." Cassidy said, as she kept floating outside the house.

Valina went into the garage, opening a portal. Back in Central Karmania, the heroes head toward the border of Western Karmania, exiting through the forests.

"We're almost there!" Zero said, reading his scanner.

"But so are they!" Audrey said, seeing Skorch's ship following them.

They stopped at a clearing with a large tree in the center, which had multiple foods growing out. The tree turned around, revealing it had a happy face.

"Hello strangers! I'm the Talking Tree of these woods! I'm here to help!" Talking Tree greeted happily, as bright sunny light shined in the area. The heroes were weirded out.

"...Hi? Can you tell us which way Western Karmania is?" Cynthia asked.

"It's that way!" Talking Tree said, using one of his branches to point north through a passage.

"Thanks, Mr. Tree." Jake said, as they headed through it.

"No problem, I'm here to help. But watch out, those Battlestar guys lurk around there. Some came through earlier, it scared me... Anyways, bye, I'll be here!" Talking Tree said from the distance.

The gang arrived in a mountainous plain, seeing a sinister mountain base up ahead. Skorch's face was mounted on a cavern entrance, with lava flowing out. Beast soldiers and Slayers were around.

"Yup, this is the place. Alright, let's do this." Nick said.

"Why are they at our base?" Brak asked.

"I don't know, but we can't shoot. Hold fire." Skorch ordered to the pilot.

The girls flew up to the ship. Cynthia hit the right side with a boulder, setting off the ship's alarm.

"We're under attack!" Gride said.

"Wait, they aren't with the knights... NO!" Brak said, having a realization, looking out the window.

"Yo." Tori said.

The girls attacked the ship. Madison sent a lightning blast at an engine, which exploded, and Audrey changed the ship's direction with wind. The ship veered out of control, heading for a crash collision course to the Battlestar base. Unfortunately, from the ship's shaking, the pilot accidentally hit the "fire" button for the beam.

"NO!" Skorch, Gride and Brak yelled at once, running to the controls.

"Sorry boss." the pilot said, as Brak pushed him aside.

The knights ran through the forests. The ship went smashing right into the Battlestar base. The beam was released, letting out an explosion. The entire mountain base exploded, letting out a red mushroom cloud overhead.

"Ooh, pretty..." Talking Tree said, seeing the cloud.

"For an improvised plan, that went pretty well." Zero said, surprised.

"We forgot about these things..." Cameron said, as the Green Slayers approached them. However, from behind Madison let out an electricity wave at them, all exploding.

"Thanks sis." Jake said.

"I can't believe we did it. But uh, should we check on them?" Cynthia asked.

"The base is toast, I think that's good enough. Besides, I doubt we'll be seeing them for a while even if they survived that blast." Cameron said.

"Speaking of toast, I could go for some..." Nick said, as they headed back to the castle.

Multiple Battlestar soldiers are seen being taken away by royal guards, and debris was cleaned up. The forces had been defeated, as some leftover soldiers were seen retreating. Several villagers came out of hiding, cheering for the heroes. Ranen and the royal guards met back up with the heroes.

"I haven't been in that much action in so long. I've heard the Battlestar base is history." Ranen said.

"It's all thanks to Zero's plan." Madison said.

"It wasn't all my plan, since they helped the execution of it. To be honest, I was about 48.56% sure it'd even work." Zero said.

"If long odds are what you want, then count on us." Jake said.

"So now what? Are they gone?" Tori asked.

"Not all, but any remaining forces are in hiding with leftover Federation troops. But this isn't a total victory, we still have the Valina problem..." Ranen said to them.

The Battlestar base is in ruins. Gride transformed back into Deckel, who was lying on the rocky ground, and got up.

"Fiddlesticks!" Deckel said, when he looked into the rubble to see Brak reaching his hand out. Deckel helped him out, seeing half of Brak's armor badly damaged, and half his face was burnt.

"T-thank you," Brak said, coughing, as Deckel held him. His watch rang, opening it to Gride.

"Fool, what are you doing? Leave him!" Gride demanded.

"I cannot leave an ally. He helped us, so we help him, it's the circle of life!" Deckel said.

"Just g-get me somewhere to heal..." Brak demanded, as Deckel helped him walk out of the ruins.

Underground, Skorch enters the magma chamber, which wasn't destroyed as badly. He coughed heavily, struggling to get to the regeneration chamber, which was intact.

"Yes, it survived..." Skorch said, heading to it.

Suddenly, an electricity bolt hit him, as he fell. Valina appeared, laughing.

"What...the sorceress! How...did you get here?" Skorch asked, coughing heavily.

"Looks like someone's out of energy. Good thing the guardians took care of you for me." Valina said, taunting him.

"No...please. I...need to recharge." Skorch said, crawling on the ground, trying to get to the chamber. Valina then slammed her staff on one of his hands.

"Fire elementals are rare around here, I could use your power..." Valina said.

Skorch reached into a magma pool, and felt a slight charge. He shot a fireball at Valina, sending her into a rock. Getting back up, he shot more fireballs at her, as she shielded herself with electricity. Valina broke them off, sending an electric fire wave across the cavern, splitting open rocks. Skorch let out a weak fire blast from his body, but Valina avoided it, standing on top of a rock. She then sent a lightning bolt at him, knocking him down. She approached him, shooting electricity in her hands. Due to their fight, the cavern was crumbling.

"Please...this isn't a fair fight. Let me live!" Skorch demanded.

Upon hearing that, Valina had a flashback to her Cassidy fight. The younger Cassidy said "Let me live!", as the two fought. Valina stopped, seeming horrified.

"Pathetic." Valina said, absorbing a fire essence from him.

She shot it into the magma, as a Magma Sphere appeared. She absorbed it into her staff, teleporting away. A large rock then falls on Skorch. Valina exits out of a portal in the garage, closing it, and meets back with Cassidy.

"What took so long? That was like 10 minutes." Cassidy asked.

"He needed homework help. I have one final destination to show you..." Valina said.

The two are seen approaching an old house. Valina rings the doorbell, and an elderly fish opens it.

"Mom..." Cassidy said, surprised.

"Oh my, Valina! It's good to see you again. You never seem to age whenever I meet you..." the old lady said.

"Yeah... say Margaret, what's in that locket you have? I can never remember..." Valina said.

"Your memory is worse than mine. It has a picture of Cassidy. I still miss her..." Margaret said, opening the locket to show a young Cassidy. Cassidy looked sad.

"Hold on, I'll make some tea..." Margaret said, going inside.

"Your mother misses you dearly. Wouldn't you want to live to see her again?" Valina asked.

"Fine. I want to live." Cassidy said.

Valina casted a spell. Cassidy's ghost glowed purple, and her eyes were possessed.

"Soon you will live again, dear Cassidy. Persuasion is a great tool used well to make you mine again." Valina said, as the two teleported away.

...

Broodwing angrily hits supplies in a warehouse.

"THEY DESTROYED MY ROBOTS! THE ONES THAT WEREN'T PAID FOR, THAT WAS MY MONEY, MY LOSS! They are going to pay dearly for this..." Broodwing vowed angrily.

_________

Notes/Trivia:

-Character Debuts: Talking Tree, Metal Snakes, Margaret, and Green Commando Slayers

-Johnny references the beginning of "Bounty" in Rotwell's class.

-Fire and Magic are revealed to be Karmanian elemental powers.

-It is revealed Karmania is neither on land nor underwater, since it is in another dimension.

-Ranen explains a little more about the Western Karmania kingdom, revealing it's "mostly deserts, mountains and volcanoes, filled with vicious beasts".

-Valina and Mai visit the same cemetery from "Machina", and Tristan Smith (Zurtrax)'s grave is also seen again.

-The Green Slayers are the fifth type of Slayer to be seen (fourth if you don't count the one-off Driller).

-

It is revealed that unlike Thorn and Morgana, Deckel's dragon beast form is actually its own being, named Gride, similar to Jekyll and Hyde. The reason Gride did not have a conscience of his own until now is due to Deckel being able to control him, until Valina's spell broke his magic.

-

Cassidy is brought back to life, and is possessed by Valina.

Since this is the midseason finale, I figure this would be a good break point, so there will be no new chapter next week, but we'll be back in two weeks to start the 2nd half.

Damn, that was lot of action-packed episode, seeing the heroes fighting agaist Battlestar army. the Valima subplot was interesting to revive her old friend which seems unfortunately possessed by her.

Overall, this is great midseason episode I've read. :plankton2:

Also, I do feel bad for Skorch at the end :(

I feel no compulsion to comment on the fight scene with the metal snakes, obviously.

Stellar midseason finale. Part of me feels bad for Skorch, but on another hand, why you shouldn't force an evil merchant to give you something for free and hire a clumsy pilot for a ship that holds such deadly firepower is a lesson that can only be learned the hard way. Also interesting to see that Deckel isn't purely evil. I knew Audrey was full of it.

Another excellent episode, and perfect fit for a mid-season finale.

  • I liked all the action sequences. The stuff with the Guardians vs the Battlestar Army, how Madeline used her powers to turn things in their favor against the slayers, and the fight near the end with Val and Skorch.
  • The emotional beats in the ValCas subplot were a nice balance to the action. It was sweet how desperate Val was to bring Cassidy back to life, but I can't forget that she's also a manipulative miss.
  • Also I liked the confrontation at the beginning with Val and the guardians. Nick's comments are gold, as always xD.
  • I liked the introduction of Fire and Magic as elemental powers in Karmania, and the reveal of Karmania not being located on land or water.
  • I don't feel too bad about Skorch at the end, but I did think it was another show of power for Val, who is becoming increasingly more dangerous.

40. Ultra Power

At a shack in the Posidonia Wildlands, nematodes are seen inside. They say "meep" to each other, having food and drinks. At the bar, a nematode hands an empty bowl to the bartender, "meeping" for a refill. The brown bartender nematode pours a liquid into it from a barrel, handing it to the nematode. The door opens, letting light in. All the nematodes stop what they are doing, looking at who enters. The spider crab walks into the shack, with the blue jellyfish on top, covering something in its tentacles. It opens them, showing Ramos, who hops off, walking up to the bar.

"Glad you're open. I'm starving, I don't care what you have, just give me something good. I'm royalty after all, and your king!" Ramos demanded to the bartender.

The bartender nematode looked at him strangely, saying "Meep". It went off to get food, sliding a bowl in front of Ramos. The spider crab reaches out at the bowl, letting out a noise to have some, but Ramos pushes it away.

"NO! Wait your turn." Ramos demanded.

After eating, he had an odd look, as if he just tasted something horrible. He looked at the bartender nematode, who smiled, and looked into the bowl.

"This is...chum." Ramos realized.

The nematodes all began laughing "meeps", mocking him.

"That's not funny, you little trolls..." Ramos said, getting annoyed.

He angrily pulls out the strange shard object he found, holding it from the skeletal arm, pointing it at the bartender.

"YOU DO NOT MESS WITH THE KING, NEMATODE!" Ramos yelled angrily.

"MEEEP!" the bartender yelled, as other nematodes looked away in horror.

However, as Ramos kept holding it, nothing happened.

"Come on, give me something..." Ramos said, shaking it.

The nematodes laughed again, and he is thrown out of the shack, landing in the dirt. The spider crab and jellyfish were thrown out, landing by his side. Lastly, the mysterious object was thrown right at Ramos's face.

"Ow!" Ramos yelled, as it fell on the ground. The green gem briefly glowed, as Ramos picked it up, looking at it angrily.

Valina is seen looking at her staff's blue gem. She is with White Knight outside the old cave.

"Meet your new allies." Valina said, throwing out the three spheres she obtained: Magma, Crystal Water, and Rainbow Spheres.

"Hopefully they are better than those sorry sack of beasts." White Knight said.

Valina sent electricity into the spheres. She sent a gray blast into the Rainbow Sphere, and a purple blast into the Magma Sphere. All three kept glowing, forming into armored knight-like beings. The Magma Sphere formed into a magma rock being, glowing fiery red, and dripping magma from its body, with a red eye glowing inside its helmet. The Rainbow Sphere formed into a prism like being, as metal armor covered the rainbow colors, and a yellow eye lit up in its helmet. Lastly, the Crystal Water Sphere formed into an ice being with water patterns, and a blue eye lit up inside its helmet.

"Using some of those beasts's elemental powers, I have given our new knights elements. You will be Aramis, controlling Fire and Poison. You will be Porthos, controlling Light and Metal. Finally, you are Athos, controlling Water and Ice. You can take some elemental moves from Dark and Earth too." Valina said respectively to the three, shooting brown and black blasts into their bodies. Aramis, Porthos, and Athos floated down onto the ground.

"Where did you come up with those fancy names?" White Knight asked.

"They are the names of true warriors, and you will aid them in their first battle..." Valina said, smiling.

The girls and Jake are seen outside the high school with tons of other kids. There were boats parked, and lots of cleaning supplies set up.

"I can't believe you signed us up for this boat wash." Tori said annoyed to Cynthia.

"Come on, it'll be fun. We can help raise money and all that good stuff. Besides, Audrey signed us up for a stupid play without asking, so I can also sign-up you all for a boat wash against your wills." Cynthia said.

"Wow, you can really be a narcissist." Tori said snidely.

"I kind of have things I want to do." Jake said.

"What would those be?" Cynthia asked snidely.

"Um... if you give me enough time, I can think of something." Jake pondered.

Madison took off her jacket, showing a tank top, ready to wash boats.

"Maybe this'll give us something more to do than weird magical world stuff. And plus, we'd be helping out people too lazy to clean their own boats." Madison said.

"Why did we have to do this in November? It's like 52 degrees out, this is not the type of weather for short clothes." Audrey said, sighing.

"It could be worse, they could have chosen a day that was flat out cold." Tori said.

"Yeah, so uh, are Nick, Zero and Cameron going to help us out?" Cynthia asked.

"Nice try, this is for students only, and they aren't students here." Jake replied, annoying Cynthia.

"Alright, let's get right to it gang." Thomson announced to the kids, standing with Rotwell and another teacher.

Multiple students began washing the boatmobiles at once. The customers put in lots of money at a table, making Thomson gleeful.

"Hello daughter, be sure to give this an extra good scrubbing!" Cynthia's father said, near his green boat.

"Oh, of course daddy..." Cynthia replied.

"Hey Madison and Jake, be sure to give this a good cleaning." Henry said, showing them his blue boatmobile.

"Tori, this better look cleaner than my badge, I tell you what." Hank said, showing his police boat.

"Of course, officer dad." Tori said.

Around the Central Karmanian slums, royal soldiers are with beasts and other villagers, helping fix buildings, and make the area look better. Diggy is outside his trailer working on a device. Suddenly, a pair of scissors cut through the air, opening a portal. Broodwing hops out, as it closes behind, startling Diggy.

"How did you do that, are you a wizard?" Diggy asked.

"It's my new way of traveling from one world to another. Since an idiot destroyed the Dimensional Accelerator, the Ancient Seal does not open anymore. I built my own fancy device, using a combination of magic and technology. I've been using this to help some leftover soldiers get back." Broodwing said, showing the scissors.

"Can't ya just build another portal opener? You know a lot about technological junk." Diggy asked.

"I don't know how Zurtrax made his, and he isn't around to ask. These magical scissors only keep the portal open for a small amount of time, I'd have no clue how to keep one open permanently. But that's not why I'm here, we have a major problem to discuss..." Broodwing said.

"Go on..." Diggy said, concerned.

"The Battlestar are defeated. Skorch, Brak and Deckel are gone. This is bad, two royal family members are now missing. This means I have to step up and do something. I want you to help out me out." Broodwing demanded.

"Of course, I'll do anything..." Diggy replied nervously.

"I'll destroy the guardians, knights and rebels, along with a sorceress that's been causing trouble. I don't know who she is, but based on what I heard from Skorch's gang, she is bad news." Broodwing said.

"Sorceress, eh? I wouldn't mess with them..." Diggy said.

"She kidnapped the queen, and is plotting something of her own. We can't let her take the Federation's glory." Broodwing said.

"Sure, I'll do anything I can to help..." Diggy said.

"Here's a start. I hear the rebels are working on a special new battle armor, which is being kept in their main base, but none of us know where it is. I want you to dig around, see if you can find its location." Broodwing said, as two of Diggy's customers were peeping around his trailer, overhearing the conservation.

"Did you hear that?" one asked.

"Yeah boy, looks like we got a jackpot!" the other whispered.

"I'll do something, I promise." Diggy replied.

"You better. Now then, you have your business to run, and I have my own. I'll be back later." Broodwing said.

He opened a portal with the scissors, going through, and it closed. Diggy kept trying to work on his machine, when the two customers came out of hiding.

"Yo Diggy, buddy!" one of them said, with an abnormally large nose.

"Cloudy and Big Nose, what do y'all want?" Diggy asked.

"We overheard you talking to Broodwing, and that ya need to find some new rebel tech. We can help get it!" Cloudy said, who was a blue Karmanian wearing a hat and glasses.

"Fine, you can help, but no funny business, ya hear?!" Diggy said to them.

Valina is seen near a large wooden aircraft. It had lots of Gus's motor supplies on the sides, as White Knight, Porthos, Aramis, and Athos were on it. Valina sent out an Aether shock around the sides, starting it up. She hopped on board, as it floated up into the Karmanian skies. She then opened a portal into the sky with her staff, flying the craft through it.

The girls and Jake are seen washing boatmobiles, but Cynthia wasn't doing much. She stood outside her father's boatmobile with them, not doing anything.

"So, are you gonna help or just stand there looking stupid?" Tori asked.

"I don't want all that dirt to get on me. Besides, I control Earth, I might make it even dirtier..." Cynthia said, trying to get out of it.

Tori used her powers to make a hose shoot water on Cynthia, as she screamed. The gang laughed except for her, since her hair was ruined.

"Real funny." Cynthia said, annoyed.

Suddenly, another boatmobile pulled up. Doyle got out, looking at the five.

"Ello mates, get the lass here scrubbed up to perfection." Doyle ordered.

"Why should we have to do anything for you after you tried to destroy us?" Cynthia asked.

"Even though she is trying to get out of doing this, she's actually right, I don't exactly trust you still..." Madison said to him.

"I need someone to clean this thing, and it ain't gonna me, ya lil' buggers." Doyle said, walking off to Rotwell.

"Oh no, please don't..." Madison said, sighing, as Doyle came back with Rotwell.

"What's all this then? Not going to clean his boatmobile? You five better, or I'll give you all detention! Understood?" Rotwell ordered to them.

"Fine..." Cynthia said, as they got to work. She grabbed a sponge, but barely scrubbed the boatmobile.

"I'm gonna go get some lunch, this better look spotless when I come back." Doyle said, walking away.

"Seriously, can't anybody clean their own boats anymore?" Audrey asked.

Ramos is seen walking through plains, with the spider crab and jellyfish following behind.

"I don't know what this thing is boys. It looks like a magical item, but is it? Maybe I could call it my new royal staff, even though it's a pretty small one, maybe a mini-staff..." Ramos rambled to himself, looking at it, when the spider crab tried to pass him.

"NO, what did I say?! I said follow four feet behind me, four!" Ramos said angrily to the spider crab, pushing it back. "This stupid skeleton arms looks fake, maybe this is just some backscratcher-"

The spider crab grabbed onto the mini-staff with its mouth, trying to take it out of Ramos's hands. It kept pulling away, trying to eat the mini-staff.

"No, what are you doing-stop, give it back, NOW! Stop it, you gross thing! LET GO OF MY THING!" Ramos demanded angrily to the spider crab.

As Ramos showed his anger, the mini-staff's gem glowed green. It let out a green energy blast at the spider crab's face, leaving a burn mark, sending Ramos flying back to the ground. All three were surprised, as Ramos gets up, gasping at the mini-staff's glowing gem. It stops, and Ramos runs up to the spider crab, holding the mini-staff to its mouth.

"Do it again!" Ramos ordered the spider crab, when the jellyfish grabbed him with its tentacles. "No, not you, stupid jelly-AAAH!"

Ramos is thrown by the jellyfish, landing on the ground, and gets up again.

"I SAID NOT YOU, STUPID JELLYFISH!" Ramos yelled, pointing the mini-staff.

The green gem glowed again, but this time, it made the mini-staff turn Ramos's arm around. It began to drag him off the other way, dragging him across the ground, and left a feint green light behind. It stopped, surprising Ramos.

"Whoa..." Ramos said, smiling, running up to the jellyfish.

"Again!" Ramos ordered, as the jellyfish grabbed him again, throwing him to the ground. Ramos was angry, making the mini-staff's gem glow green.

Ramos made it shoot green blasts at the jellyfish, sending it flying back.

"Yes, this thing is working, it is magi-oh no, stop, don't touch my face, not my beautiful face!" Ramos yelled as both the spider crab and jellyfish went chasing after him. The spider crab grabbed Ramos in a net, as the jellyfish stung him, picking him up again.

"LET ME GO, WAIT, DON'T LET ME GO!" Ramos demanded, as the jellyfish dropped him, falling to the ground again, leaving a feint green light from the mini-staff while falling.

At the Sky Kingdom temple, the four council members were outside. Cesare seemed uneasy.

"Is something wrong?" Luna asked.

"I don't know why, but I have an odd feeling that we're about to be under attack. I don't know if my foresight is just messing with me." Cesare said, concerned.

"We're too far up in the sky for anybody to reach us." Tom said.

Suddenly, Valina's floating craft floats through a portal into the clouds. White Knight and the warriors were ready to strike, as it kept going through the clouds.

"Make a grand entrance." Valina said to the four, teleporting herself away with the staff.

The craft floated out of the clouds, coming into the temple's sights. White Knight fired a catapult, sending a large boulder right at the temple, shocking all four.

"Uh oh, that's not good." Tom said.

Back outside Diggy's trailer, Diggy finished a device, while Cloudy and Big Nose were munching on food.

"I tell you Diggy, this is some of the best food around." Cloudy said.

"Thank you." Diggy replied.

"What's that yer working on?" Big Nose asked.

"This here is a dimensional transporter machine I've making using leftover Fed tech. It'll let you teleport anywhere across Karmania! I was buildin' this to spread my business across all the kingdoms! Maybe by luck, it could help us find the rebel base, but it's not complete-" Diggy was saying.

"Sounds good enough to me!" Cloudy said in a rush.

"Wait you fools! I haven't even tested it yet, it could kill you!" Diggy warned.

"Relax man, we've survived worse." Cloudy reassured.

"Alright, suit yourselves, but don't come crying to me if it misplaces your body parts or somethin'!" Diggy said annoyed.

He hooked the two up with wires, exciting them.

"Oh boy, I wonder where it'll take us, Cloudy!" Big Nose said eagerly.

"Who knows, but maybe by luck, it can get us somewhere important..." Cloudy said, crossing his fingers.

"Just hit these buttons, and it'll alert the machine to teleport you back...I hope." Diggy said nervously, equipping them with bracelets.

Diggy hit a switch. The two vanished in yellow lights, and re-appeared in an armory in the Underground City.

"Whoa dude, we're alive! What is this place?" Big Nose asked, using his big nose to sniff around.

"Could this be the rebel base?" Cloudy asked.

They looked around in the armory, seeing sets of golden battle armors. They put them on.

"This stuff looks awesome!" Big Nose said.

"I heard voices," a soldier said, when Steele ran into the room with two guards.

"Who the heck are you two, how did you get in here?!" Steele asked, holding a laser gun.

"Hey Cloudy, let's try this out!" Big Nose said.

Steele fired a laser gun at them, but Cloudy blocked it with the shield. He made the shoulders of the armor fire lasers at Steele and the soldiers, knocking them down. They gave each other hi-fives, and pressed the buttons on their bracelets, teleporting away.

"That's not good." Steele said.

The girls and Jake were seen washing boats still, as Cynthia was barely doing any work, sitting back in a chair.

"Hey miss "sign us up without our permission", are you going to contribute?" Tori asked.

"Actually, to be honest, I'm more of a supervisor than a worker. I only signed up because they promised me automatic extra credit." Cynthia revealed.

"Shocker." Tori said.

"You kind of have to help us, since you got us into it." Madison said, when Zero, Cameron and Nick approached them in a hurry.

"We've got a problem." Cameron said.

"I don't care what it is, I'll take it over this." Tori said, dropping a sponge.

"Two unidentified intruders broke into the Underground City, stealing new battle equipment for the soldiers. We do not know how they got in, but they somehow teleported away." Zero explained.

"I'd love to help, but we can't exactly leave here without getting into major trouble." Jake said.

"Don't worry, we have those doppels still, right?" Cynthia offered.

"I'm not sure if that's a good idea after what happened with Maddie's..." Audrey said.

"Yeah, I don't exactly have a good conscience in leaving our doppels alone again. Besides, with so many students here, I'm sure hopefully they won't notice we're missing for long." Madison said, as they went somewhere private.

Madison was about to open a portal, when the heart showed the image of the council temple. As she opened the portal, they arrived at the Sky Kingdom temple, which was under attack, confusing them.

"Guardians, you're here!" Luna said, who shot a magical blast at the enemy craft, but Aramis shot a fire blast, destroying a pillar.

"Okay, I didn't intend for us to come here, but good timing!" Madison said.

"There's the White Knight again, and he has friends." Jake said, seeing them.

"We don't know who these scoundrels are, but they appeared out of nowhere, attacking our sacred temple. Please help us fight them off, we cannot let them harm your magic sources." Briar explained.

"Alright, but how did I teleport us here?" Madison asked.

"It appears the heart has unlocked the ability of "kingdom teleporting". It sensed its magical source, which is here, in danger, and opened a portal. You can now automatically teleport to kingdoms you have visited." Cesare explained, showing images on the heart of the Central, Western, and Sky kingdoms.

"Cool, now we don't have to wait for you to summon us anymore." Audrey said.

"Watch out!" Tom said, as Athos shot an ice beam her way, and Audrey dodged. Madison made them transform.

"Alright, let's wash them away. This should be a better cleaning than what Cynthia signed us up for." Tori said, shooting water blasts.

"Yeah, whatever." Cynthia said.

"I'd love to fight, but we sort of need to get the stolen armor back." Cameron said.

"Don't worry, I think we can handle them." Madison said, making the heart flash an image of Central Karmania, opening a portal.

The guys went into it, while the girls fought off the enemies.

Cloudy and Big Nose teleported back to Diggy, who is surprised to see their armor.

"You teleported into their base and got the armor?! Wow, I guess this bad boy does work." Diggy said.

"Yeah, we can't wait to wreck everybodeh with this..." Cloudy said, smirking.

"When you're all done friends, be sure to hand that stuff to me, and tell me where the base is, Broodwing wants it and all..." Diggy said, and the two looked at him oddly. "Is something wrong?"

"About that...We're keeping this armor for ourselves, hehe..." Big Nose said, making odd noises with his nose, as Cloudy laughed.

"You can't, I need this! Broodwing will not be hap-" Diggy was saying.

"We don't like buzzkills. We got ultra power now, and don't need you hogging our fame." Cloudy said, whacking Diggy in the head with the armor's gold staff. He fell unconscious to the ground.

In a village, Big Nose and Cloudy exit a building, carrying gold in their hands, laughing. They beat up guards in front, and launched attacks at the village. However, the knights appeared, powered up.

"Stop right there!" Jake ordered.

"Whoa, that one guy has a big nose, that's kinda gross." Nick said.

"Hey, this is a beautiful nose! We'll show you!" Big Nose replied.

"We don't know how you got into our main base, but give the equipment back, or else." Cameron threatened.

"Or else what?!" Cloudy asked.

"This!" Zero yelled, as they charged at once, attacking. However, Cloudy and Big Nose impressively held themselves off, knocking them with the staffs.

"Dang, these weirdos are kinda good." Nick said, clashing his sword with Big Nose's staff.

The two fired lasers from the shoulder weapons, as Jake blocked the blasts with his stone's shield. Cameron reflected some back with his stone, but it barely scratched their armor. Back at the Sky Kingdom, the girls flew around, attacking back at the enemies. The three warriors floated up, shooting attacks. Porthos shot a powerful light beam right at Cynthia, exploding into another pillar.

"Jeez, watch my hair!" Cynthia said.

"Of course it's your hair, maybe there's more important things to worry about, like the fate of our magical powers?" Madison said, kind of annoyed to her.

"She has a point." Tori said.

"Is this about the boat wash stuff?" Cynthia asked, throwing crumbled rock pieces at the craft, but White Knight shot laser arrows that vaporized them.

"Yeah, you signed us up to do all your dirty work, we're not your slaves!" Tori said, shooting an aquatic blast at Aramis, who shot an acidic blast back at the water.

"Girls, stop bickering and focus on the common enemy!" Tom said, hiding behind a pillar with Cesare, and an ice beam hit it.

"We're trying!" Audrey yelled to him, turning invisible, and re-appeared behind Athos. She sent a gust of wind, but Athos barely moved. Athos turned around and shot an ice beam, as Audrey barely dodged, and the beam went into the clouds. "These things are strong!"

"These girls seem to be out of harmony, I might have to do something..." Briar said to Luna.

"You can't do too much, you know that. You'll drain your life energy." Luna warned.

"I know, but there's no other choice. I must protect the temple." Briar replied.

"I'll make sure the powers are safe." Luna said, running into the temple.

Briar concentrated on some broken temple pieces, levitating them up with her mind. She sent them flying at Porthos, but vaporized them with a light blast. It formed metal balls, sending them flying around, shooting multiple times at the temple. Briar sent more rocks flying past the girls at the craft, but White Knight steered it. It fired a boulder, but Briar was barely able to control it.

"Cynthia, as a fellow Earth guardian, please help me!" Briar said to her from the distance, trying to hold the boulder.

"Yeah, unless that's too much work." Tori said, shooting more water blasts at the three warriors.

Cynthia helped Briar shoot the boulder back, but Porthos vaporized it with a light blast.

"Seriously?!" Cynthia said.

"Madison, would you like to know what happened to your boyfriend Trent?" White Knight taunted to her from the distance.

"Trent? What did you do to him!? You better not have hurt him!" Madison said angrily, as electricity sparked through her hair.

"You'd really hate me if you knew." White Knight said, shooting laser arrows from the craft, and she sent an electricity ball back.

Inside the temple, Valina walks around. She goes into the knight room, sending an electric blast at the grid, making the stones except for the white one act odd. Back in the village, the boys turned to normal while fighting, confused. Cloudy and Big Nose hit them, sending them to the ground.

"Uh, did our stones just tap out?" Nick asked, hitting his with no luck.

"Looks like y'all lost your magic armor, but we still got ours!" Cloudy said, laughing.

"Not again..." Cameron said.

Valina heads to the orb room, seeing Luna inside, who turns around.

"Valina, this is all your doing!" Luna said, sending a magical blast at Valina. She sent a lightning bolt back, knocking her against the wall.

Cesare and Tom appeared behind her.

"Hey lady, what do you th-" Tom was saying, when Valina sent an electricity blast at the two, knocking them away.

She tampered with the four floating orbs, sending an Aether blast onto them. They began to act oddly, growing duller in color, and stopped rotating. She sent another blast at the orbs, creating a triangular ring around them.

"No, you can't!" Luna said, running up.

It was too late, as a giant energy blast went flying out of the temple. Cynthia floated around a hallway, when the giant energy blast hit her. The remaining girls suddenly lost their powers, falling to the rocky ground.

"Okay, what just happened?" Tori asked.

"I think our powers are gone..." Madison said, holding out the heart, which stopped glowing.

"Ouch, and where's Cynthia?" Audrey asked.

"Guess she's ditching us when we're in danger, how nice." Tori said, as Briar approached them.

"Oh dear, someone has tampered with the orbs. I must stop them!" Briar said, running inside.

Unfortunately for the girls, White Knight appeared with the warriors by his side. They began powering up their attacks, as the girls were ready to fight back despite no powers.

The spider crab approaches the shack again, with the jellyfish and Ramos on top. The blue jellyfish now had bruise marks from Ramos. Ramos hopped off, as both tried to follow, but he stopped them.

"No. I must do this alone, it's not gonna be pretty." Ramos ordered.

Ramos walks inside, approaching a table. He pushes a nematode off, sending its bowl smashing. He grabs the stool, and pushes two nematodes in front of the bar away. Ramos sends bowls on the table smashing, putting on an apron, smiling, and ready to eat. He looked at the bartender.

"Bowl of your best chum please!" Ramos ordered happily.

The bartender nematode looked at him strangely, unsure how to respond.

"Mmm, I can taste it already, and it's not even here!" Ramos said, still smiling.

A bowl of chum slid in front of Ramos, looking at it happily. He ate all of it at once, creeping the nematodes all out. He wiped his face with a napkin.

"Ah, all done!" Ramos said, and he punched the bartender nematode in the face, sending it flying against the wall. The nematodes all approached Ramos, who jumped on top of the able. They all said "Meep" angrily, going right to him.

The knights tried to fight off Big Nose and Cloudy without their powers, but they were sent flying to the ground again, as the two laughed.

"They are too strong with that armor, we need a tactical retreat." Zero said.

"Yeah, we're in no condition to fight. Let's find out what happened to our stones!" Jake said, as they quickly ran off, avoiding laser blasts.

They appeared at the temple, seeing the girls facing the warriors, powerless.

"I assume you lost your powers too." Nick said.

"Yeah, and Cynthia is gone." Tori said.

Suddenly, Tom ran to them, holding three swords.

"Here, take these swords, yes, that's what I said!" Tom said, handing the swords to the girls.

"...Thanks?" Tori said.

"They were around, I felt like giving you something to defend yourselves. Yes, I gave teenage girls swords, I don't care if that is irresponsible, just fight! Valina disabled all of your powers, and it'll take a while to get them back." Tom said frantically.

"Hey, I won't complain." Madison said, waving her sword.

"I figured this was all her doing." Cameron said.

"Good thing my parents can't see me with this." Tori said, checking out the sword.

"What are those things?" Nick asked, referring to the energy warriors.

"I don't know, but they are like impossible to defeat." Audrey said, holding her sword.

They attacked at once. The girls tried blocking attacks with their swords, but were sent flying back with the guys. Madison attacked White Knight with her sword.

"If you hurt Trent, I'll-" Madison was saying, when a giant light beam went flying right into White Knight, sending him smashing into a pillar.

Athos shot ice beams at the heroes, when the light sent Athos flying.

"Hey ice guy, chill!" Cynthia said, her voice echoing.

"I don't understand anything anymore." Nick said.

They looked up to see Cynthia, who appeared much older, taller, had larger wings, and longer hair.

"Is that Cynthia?" Jake asked.

"What would you guys do without me?" Cynthia asked gleefully, waving her hair.

"Yup, it's Cynthia." Tori said, jealous.

"What happened to you?" Audrey asked.

Cynthia sent a powerful aquatic blast right at Aramis, hit White Knight again, and kept flying around.

"I dunno, I was going into the temple when I heard commotion, and this weird energy blast hit me, giving me ultra power. Watch out!" Cynthia said, echoing everywhere, sending a lightning blast at Porthos.

"Wow, so you have our powers now." Madison said.

"Yeah, this is the least I can do for not working." Cynthia said, as Athos was on the aircraft again, ready to shoot an ice beam at her.

He fired, but Cynthia blew a heavy gust from her mouth, dousing it in water, firing her own ice beam, colliding. She sent lightning into it, making the craft explode, sending Athos flying again.

"Alright Cynthia!" they cheered.

"We really need to stop those thieves now, but we have no powers..." Nick said, sighing.

"Powers or not, we're still knights. We fight until the end." Cameron said.

"I concur, it appears Cynthia doesn't need our help. Best of luck, Cynthia." Zero said, as the guys went back to Central Karmania.

Doyle appears back at the boat wash, eating chips. He looks at his boatmobile, seeing it was barely finished. Rotwell approached him.

"Is our service satisfactory?" Rotwell asked.

"Not really mate, the boat looks barely cleaned. I told 'em to make sure it was spotless. Maybe I should've done it myself..." Doyle said.

"What?! Where are Madison and her annoying friends? I've looked all over, and I don't see them contributing..." Rotwell said angrily.

Back inside the temple, Briar headed to the orb room, when Luna appeared from behind. She wrapped her arms around Briar, making her uncomfortable.

"Briar, we have a problem." Luna said oddly.

"Yes, I was headed to the power room to help give their powers back-" Briar was saying.

"I'm afraid it will take a while to fix their powers, and we're running low on time. I have an offer. The girls are out of harmony, and have lost their powers. I fear they will not be able to help us, but maybe you can. How would you like to have your full powers back?" Luna offered.

Briar thought about it.

"...Fine, I will. I must protect my kingdom." Briar said, closing her eyes.

Luna laughed, transforming into Valina. The real Luna is seen imprisoned in electric chains, stuck to a wall in the orb room with Cesare.

"Your honor is a great tool used to make you mine again, Briar." Valina said, possessing Briar like she did to Cassidy.

The knights approached Cloudy and Big Nose again.

"Ready for round tw-" Cloudy was saying, when Cameron shot a blast from his handgun right at his face, leaving a burn mark. "Ow, no fair, jerk!"

"What's not fair is attacking us unarmed." Cameron said, as they kept fighting.

Cynthia kept attacking the warriors, overwhelming them.

"Use more lightning!" Tori said, as Cynthia shocked all four.

"I'll admit, you have won this match guardian, but the game is far from over." White Knight said.

They retreated, meeting with Valina and the possessed Briar. Cynthia flew to them with the girls and Tom.

"It's over!" Cynthia said to Valina.

"Hear me out. You have become quite powerful, compared to your friends. Maybe you could keep all of their powers permanently, as sole guardian, and join me. We can help fix the world." Valina offered to her.

"Cynthia, are you really going to buy this?" Madison asked.

"No thanks, I may be selfish, but I'm not insane!" Cynthia said, ready to attack, but Valina made herself, the warriors, and Briar teleport away. "Dangit..."

"No worries, you helped save the day, so it's not a total loss." Audrey said.

The gang frees Luna and Cesare from the orb room, and went to fix their powers.

"Say goodbye to the powers." Luna said, shooting a magic blast at the orbs with Cesare and Tom.

"It was fun while it lasted, but one person shouldn't have all this power, especially when we should all work together." Cynthia said.

Cynthia went back to normal, as Madison's heart glowed again.

"Sorry about your kingdom though." Cynthia said.

"We can fix it. Unfortunately, I cannot say the same for Briar..." Cesare said.

"Don't worry, I promise we'll help get her back. I'm sorry for how I treated you guys, I'm just stressed out with Elana missing again, and all this junk, that I wasn't in the mood to clean boats at the last minute." Cynthia apologized.

"It's okay. In addition, White Knight gave a weird threat about Trent, I hope he's okay..." Madison said, worried.

Ramos is seen fighting off nematodes. He swings the mini-staff, knocking them over. They jumped on him at once, but he tried flinging them off. Some nematodes grabbed him by his beard, but he swatted them off. The nematodes held him down, and began punching him with their heads, as he laughed. The spider crab and jellyfish both walked in to help, but Ramos gave a hand signal to them, telling them to stop.

"I'm fine." Ramos ordered, as the nematodes kept punching him. After getting up, the nematodes surrounded him in a corner.

"COME ON, HIT ME LIKE REAL MEN!" Ramos ordered, edging them on.

A nematode grabbed a broom, whacking Ramos, sending him to the floor.

"Okay, you're getting on my-" Ramos was saying, when a bunch of nematodes jumped on him.

They all punched him in the pile, as Ramos struggled to get out. The jellyfish and spider crab kept staring, as the nematodes dragged him back under, still ruthlessly beating him up, angering him. Ramos was finally angry enough, making his mini-staff glow green yet again.

"Go." Ramos said to the crab and jelly, both running out of the shack.

From the pile, the mini-staff let out a green light explosion, sending the nematodes flying everywhere. Ramos stood up, holding it angrily, and stared at the bartender. He sent a green blast from the mini-staff right at the nematode, sending it smashing into a wall. As the mini-staff kept letting out the green beam, it shot Ramos flying in the air, trying to hold on.

"HAHA, IT'S WORKING!" Ramos yelled, laughing, as the mini-staff kept making him go flying through the shack.

The boys felt their stones glow again, powering up.

"Alright, let's even the playing field!" Jake said, slashing at Big Nose's nose.

"Ow!" Big Nose yelled, as Cameron punched him.

The guys overwhelmed Cloudy, and Zero jabbed his sword into the armor, disarming it.

"No!" Cloudy yelled.

They sent a combined attack at both, falling to the ground.

"You're under arrest for stealing royal technology." Zero said, scanning them.

"We-we'll give it back!" Cloudy said nervously.

"Too late for that." Jake said.

"Oh no, what are they gonna do to us, Cloudy?!" Big Nose asked nervously.

"I don't know, but I'm not going to prison, I hear the food's awful!" Cloudy panicked.

"Actually, the food we give prisoners isn't that bad compared to other places, maybe, depending on your taste buds." Nick said.

Zero's scanner marked them "Guilty".

"NO!" both yelled.

"We've been had!" Cloudy yelled.

Containment blasts were fired at both, imprisoning them, and shattering the armor off. Two soldiers took Cloudy and Big Nose away, confiscating the battle armor.

"You two have a lot of explaining to do..." a soldier said.

The gang regrouped back at the boat wash, annoying Rotwell and Thomson.

"You thought you could cut, and let everyone else do the work? Not on my watch! Madison and her friends will clean every remaining boat until they are spotle-" Rotwell was rambling.

"No, it was all my fault, don't blame them. Punish me instead. I'll do the work." Cynthia said.

"You don't have to-" Madison was saying.

"Nah, it's time I stopped being lazy." Cynthia said.

"Fine, get to work then." Rotwell said, handing her cleaning supplies.

Cynthia scrubs Doyle's boatmobile.

"Clean it good, buckaroo." Doyle said, watching.

Suddenly, the rest of the gang grabbed cleaning equipment, helping her.

"What are you doing? You don't have to-" Cynthia was saying.

"Like you said, we're a team." Madison replied, as Cynthia smiled.

...

The nematode shack is ruined, with smoke coming out. All the nematodes are knocked out, as Ramos breathes heavily, holding onto his mini-staff. He pointed the shard at the bartender, who said "Meep..." in a scared way.

"Now, give me your best food..." Ramos said eerily.

-The names Aramis, Porthos and Athos are a reference to The Three Musketeers (you can call the trio that if it makes things easier).

-Doyle's second appearance of Season 2, and the first time he appears without Van Gordon.

-It is revealed Briar controls/controlled the element of Earth like Cynthia.

-The heart gains the power of kingdom teleporting, allowing Madison to open a portal to a specific Karmanian kingdom they have visited so far.

-First time a girl controls all of their elemental powers for a brief amount of time.

-Second time the girls and boys become powerless (first time being "Framed" for the girls, and "Double Trouble" for the boys).

-First time The White Knight appears without Trent actually appearing.

-Broodwing now has his own dimensional scissors to get from one world to another, showing how he still gets around even after the Ancient Seal was disabled. He also reveals he has been helping leftover Federation soldiers get back with them.

-It is confirmed the Ancient Seal portal no longer opens at all (not even briefly like it did before the beginning) due to Valina destroying the Dimensional Accelerator in "Prison Break".

-

The Magma, Rainbow and Crystal Water Spheres form into Aramis, Porthos and Athos respectively, three energy warriors serving Valina and The White Knight. She gives them the elemental powers of Fire/Poison, Light/Metal, and Water/Ice respectively, along with some Dark and Earth moves, using the elemental powers of Argros, Thorn, Morgana and Vinerox, which is why she manipulated them.

Not much to say but I really liked action the gang fighting again Val & three musketeers :P . Also i like Ramos's subplot on more development of his figuring how to use mini-staff :plankton2: Overall, this is amazing so far.

BTW, Cythn sure can kick their ass with her ultimate powers, and this is why she's my fave guardian of all. :D

First they're fighting metal snakes and now Cloudy. Spoiler alert guys, I'm the true villain.

Very enjoyable midseason premiere. The thing with the dimensional scissors is the second thing I've read in this story that has reminded me of Star vs. the Forces of Evil, the first being Vexacus' trick with the weapon in Icebound. Cynthia is also the only character I know who can go from being so unlikable to so admirable. And yay, foreshadowing to Diggy and the White Knight's secrets finally being revealed.

Yeah, I agree with how awesome Cynth is. I think she's currently my favorite as well.

All in all, this was a nice premiere that lays the foundation for a lot of stuff to come out soon, while also building momentum.
