Watching Caddicarus' review on the George of the Jungle PS2 game makes me realize how much of an enigma that the Canadian animated cartoon show's underdog success is. Like, the show was given a second chance 8-9 years after it ended its run and yet [insert dormant, beloved animated series here] is still waiting around? The show even got its own video game for a handheld and a console when some other big name Canadian animated properties like the Total Drama series didn't?

We now live in a day and age where people are writing articles all about one single detail from A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving. That detail involves Franklin sitting alone at the right side of the table on a lawn chair and how it can only be established as segregation or isolation and/or Schulz being racist and I can 100% understand why some are mad about this now, and I just noticed this so I don't know if people addressed this as an issue years ago, but it feels iffy to make these accusations without doing prior research on the animators or illustrators who designed that one particular detail, or on Schulz himself.

When I see Youtube comments along the lines of "Nickelodeon's biggest mistake was not picking up Adventure TIme," I feel like asking them if they'd really want to live in an alternate universe where they did. If Nick had AT, it would've gone towards a different direction, it would've only lasted 2-3 seasons, and Nick Animation would've had more creative control over it. Greenlighting Fanboy and Chum Chum was a mistake, but does anyone else ever think that Nick has been starting to straighten up after living and learning through critical failures such as FB&CC?

list season hasn't even come yet and we already got a video like this. i'm not even surprised. also the year-end list hasn't even been published yet while billboard currently has one week left of the 2018 tracking period and by the time december comes up, expect every other music critic that isn't Spectrum Pulse, Todd in the Shadows, and Anthony Fantano to do the same early stunt.

While going through commercials for Nicktoons, I discovered a string of ads for a toy called Pop n Play Pimples. I was expecting some BigSpot.com fakeout only to realize it in the end that such a product actually exists.

While my top/bottom 10 countdown for the Alternative Songs chart for 2019 will be on hold till after I finish my my top 10 hit songs for 2019 and as well as my decade-end music lists. In the meantime, I'm going to unveil my top/bottom 10 for every other year of the 2010s for the chart that I didn't cover, from 2010-2017. The same rules from my alternative charts countdowns apply to these lists where every song that charted during the respective tracking period and repeats count towards my rankings.
