  1. I don't normally don't do this since I like to keep these lists suspenseful:

Front Runner for Song of the Year: "Spirits" - The Strumbellas.  Please let this song become a hit.  Will make my best hit song list so much easier.

Front Runner for Film of the Year: Tough but I'll say Zootopia.  Film has actually been pretty good this year so far.

Front Runner for TV Show of the Year: American Crime Story: The People vs OJ Simpson.  Best thing Ryan Murphy has ever done.

How about you all...if you want to soil the suspense? :P

@Katniss - Been meaning to try out The Americans as well.  I hear nothing but great things.

@Rock - Fitz and the Tantrums are great and I had no idea they had a new song out.  I'm excited.  Also you are the first person I've met that liked Hardcore Henry.  Haven't seen it for myself, but I do admire trying to direct films differently.

@Steel Sponge - Don't know where you got The Lumineers from ESPECIALLY since their last album was trying more to be a country music crossover album, but I totally see the Foster the People comparisons.  What I love about the song is it's a bell ringing anthem about getting in touch with our insanity.  It's just so addictively accessible, yet quirky in a Foster the People sort of way while still branching out to be different.

But shout out to @Fred Rechid for having quite the exquisite taste in entertainment.

And I've been hearing good things about The People vs OJ Simpson. I'll have to check it out sometime
