Clappy Posted May 23, 2011 Posted May 23, 2011 Saw a preview for the new animated Nick show the other day. Plot: The story follows Bloom and her close fairy friends, and is situated mainly in the Magical Dimension and on Earth. They call themselves 'The Winx Club' and go on countless adventures together. Throughout the story, they discover new transformations, unlock secrets and powers, battle against the darkness and support Bloom as she tries to discover her past. Doesn't look like my cup of tea, but it might be someone else's. Discuss. Ball #5:
Steel Sponge Posted May 23, 2011 Posted May 23, 2011 I won't be seeing it(well, not mostly because I'm a guy)
70s Posted May 23, 2011 Posted May 23, 2011 Heard of Winx I think. Anyways, have absolutely zero interest in this.
Ron Posted May 23, 2011 Posted May 23, 2011 Got so bored with the first few words of the summary. *yawn* Will not watch.
70s Posted May 23, 2011 Posted May 23, 2011 I think there was some Winx show that used to air on Disney Channel.
Clappy Posted May 23, 2011 Author Posted May 23, 2011 Yeah it wouldn't surprise me if Nick is porting this show from another network. They need some new show to premiere over the summer with the debuts of the Kung Fu Panda series and possibly the Monsters vs Aliens series coming this fall.

NegiSpongie Posted May 23, 2011 Posted May 23, 2011 I thought the HTTYD series was airing on Cartoon Network.
Clappy Posted May 23, 2011 Author Posted May 23, 2011 I thought the HTTYD series was airing on Cartoon Network.Oh really? That could be true. I was just assuming Nickelodeon due to their partnership with DreamWorks.
NegiSpongie Posted May 23, 2011 Posted May 23, 2011 Oh really? That could be true. I was just assuming Nickelodeon due to their partnership with DreamWorks. Yeah, that's what I read in an article, so I assumed it was true.
Clappy Posted May 24, 2011 Author Posted May 24, 2011 Pretty sure this used to be on 4Kids.Wouldn't surprise me but Nickelodeon is airing this now
NegiSpongie Posted May 24, 2011 Posted May 24, 2011 Wouldn't surprise me but Nickelodeon is airing this now It kinda makes sense since they're also airing TMNT and Power Rangers.
Rap Critic Posted May 24, 2011 Posted May 24, 2011 This was definitely on 4kids, and I didn't like it.
Jellatine Posted October 22, 2011 Posted October 22, 2011 For unknown reasons, I watched the pilot when Nick first aired it...and it's so ridiculously...girly! and Cliche and not funny (IDK if it's trying to..) and just meh, not my thing. And why do they have to dress up as whores??! xD Anyway, they showed this on yesterday's new episode of The Soup http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_Q0CoR1xpzs&feature=feedu xD
