Such a great story and makes you think what would happen if you had control of other people's fates without completely judging them. 10/10 Oh and Wumbo wins with his response. Metal Snake Posted November 16, 2014 Share Posted November 16, 2014 (edited) My first time going into this series when I was like, fifteen years old, I thought it was awesome. Over time, however, its magic began to wear off on me and I started to see the cracks in the storytelling (especially in the latter half) and how lacking in depth a lot of the characters were. It still has a huge amount of nostalgia value for me though, and even today, I still feel a strong attachment to Light, L, and Near (yes, I like Near). Anyway, Death Note has a good story, especially the whole concept of killing people with just writing their names. Not gonna spoil anything but lots of things happen along the way.
