I think this might turn out to be a decent enough, self-aware comedy film. And those who still think it's fashionable to hate TTG can't tell me otherwise. I'm not sure how to feel about that being a real possibility but it's oddly fitting..... I did stop watching the show but the recent episodes I did catch weren't honestly that bad. There were definitely some duds but it's much less annoying after seasons 2 and 3. I honestly wouldn't be surprised if this does end up being half-decent as long as it avoids being too "in your face" and keeps the semi-serious tone here as there is definitely potential. I probably won't see it in theaters but I'm at least intrigued enough to give it a run if it ends up on a streaming service fairly quickly.
