Yeah, swearing is okay if you use it occasionally just to make sort of an impact in your speech, but if you use it constantly during everyday conversation, you begin to make yourself seem less intelligent. I guess that's why not-swearing has become somewhat of a web-etiquette norm, just like not typing in all caps.
