EVSPONGEFAN
He is a man-child, has a job, owns a house, has a stupid friends, and goes to school to get a driving license. I am pretty sure the show hasn't said anything about his age, (except maybe when they showed his driving license) but if you had to say, how old do you think he is? For me, maybe somewhere in the early 20's? That could be an accurate guess. Your thoughts??
Young Nug
I'm guessing early 20's too. SpongeBob's personality might imply that he's a kid, but every facet of his life implies that he's fresh out of college.

OWM
His official birthdate is July 14, 1986, but he is definitely in his early 20s.

crushingmayhem
Somewhere around his 20s. He has a job, his own house and everything. He doesn't seem to depend on his parents at all.
Joe Biden
I think SpongeBob is between age 18-25. He's an adolescent, but still a manchild.
NegiSpongie
I like to think that he's 19. He's young enough to be considered a kid, but old enough to work, drive, and live on his own.
almy
When I was little I thought he was, like, 6 or something.....
Wumbo
I'd peg him in his mid-20's. Despite surface details, he seems to have a grasp on adulthood, given that he's proven to be very good and passionate about his profession. Early 20's just seems a little too young to me.
