      I'm still wondering why Boomerang tried to give it the plug at one point.

      Hole in the Wall was based on a Japanese game show called Nokabe. ("Brain Wall") I have no impressions towards the original source or the adaptation (since I never divulged into each of them), but I'd say that game show's gimmick fell flat after a while.
