While going through commercials for Nicktoons, I discovered a string of ads for a toy called Pop n Play Pimples. I was expecting some BigSpot.com fakeout only to realize it in the end that such a product actually exists.

After watching one episode of FOP S10, I've never witnessed anything more ironic from the show than the characters telling Barry Roosevelt the Hip Hip Hedgehog "you're terrible!" (as well as "Go back to Redondo Beach!" from Timmy's dad.) when he has like only like 1 minute worth of screentime and 20 seconds of dialogue in the entire episode, and yet we're supposed to hate this one-shot character...because he's a bad rapper yet he gets interrupted by the "you're terrible!" lines. What's ironic about that is that I feel more bad about Barry Roosevelt than I do towards Chloe.
-
And just to reassure you guys...yes. Such a one-time character exists and those such moments exist as well. (The episode in question is "Chloe Rules," for those who don't know what segment I was referring to.)
I'm also making some very good progress in watching every episode of the show. I just need to watch 12 more episodes from S9 and S10 and by this week, I should be able to have watched every S10 episode.

I've finally been trying to finish up Legend of Korra since the past two months. I'm now up to Book 3 and after being halfway through Change, I can say for certain that it's a vast improvement from Air and Spirits.
-
So today I just learned that there's a collectible figurine set called Poopeez....and a web animated series based on these toys. Yep...hottest selling toy of the year right here.

It's been a while since I've been active here. Sorry guys, I've been in a coma for 5 years.
(SBC THEORIES) (NOT CLICKBAIT)

The age of Cousin Mel may be over, but Steel Sponge lives on...but of course, since my name is still Steel Skeet I'm still gonna go with the theme here until I decide to rename my display name. Steel Sponge will be back though.

On the first day of CN's TTG Christmas marathon that my true love gave to me: a clickbait video from Vailski.

Taking a look at the year-end list, I wasn't expecting this particular song to barely crack it, but that one hit single from Blackbear just trumps over anything bad put out by Machine Gun Kelly and G-Eazy Squeeze Cheese in terms of badness.

"Do Re Mi" may have a personality, but I find it a very insufferable one. This might as well be my unpopular opinion when it comes to my rankings, but then again, I have made some pretty painful cuts - more painful than for my top 10 more-so. Including the hits appearing on my bottom 10, I've had around 17 other songs that I've considered as contenders for that list.
-
Just to give a little musing towards the worst hit songs lists, I'm surprised at the lack of "Cold" in not only the worst lists but also on the dishonorable mentions so far as I've seen from music critics on YouTube yet I've seen "Don't Wanna Know" appearing often on them and "What Lovers Do" twice on the lists collectively. IMO, "Cold" is one of few M5 songs where Adam Levine is at his worst.

The music critics that have started early are not like Spectrum Pulse who wait until the official year-end list is published and/or lay down ground rules for their countdowns. In addition, some of them started forming their lists based on the projected year-end list from the Pulse Music forums. Besides, even if they're kinda sorta jumping the gun, they're still doing it during list season.

So, I've closed down my NaNoWriMo account a year ago and I find it baffling that they're still sending me stuff to my email account. They must really miss the sponge of steel, it seems.

Hey, it's December...and you know what that means?!??
GRANDPA'S GONNA SUE THE PANTS OFF OF SANTA- but he's also suing me because I'm doing List Season too late. However, I am celebrating this season currently as Catch-Up Month.

Okay, so the court session that's going to be next week isn't actually too seriously like we thought it could be. But yeah, nothing else is different. Still have that thing next week along with the fact that I have the entire Thanksgiving week off.
-
Just a reminder. I'm gonna end up writing my Entertainment lists late again. Right now, I'm dealing with most of my television network service being down so I had to end up missing the one entire week of new SpongeBob and I'm also gonna end up skipping the entire Starbomb if it's still down for the next two weeks. And considering that most of my TV service is down, Nick.com is also cockblocking me when they have the episodes online. Another reason why is that I haven't been doing enough TV viewing all year-round because of my depression over the fact that I haven't been doing anything much all year.
I'm currently living in the worst year of my life, so you can't really blame me for being tardy on my lists again. I've also been planning on a worst list for animation just to spite 2017, but I may or may not get it out depending on how much time, money (for watching the animated films, of course) or options I'll be able to have for it.

My new avatar and username combo is based on one of the all-time best anime characters.
I've had this idea for a little while, so don't think it's a coincidence that Jjs and I are into the same anime

Hey, look who's back.
(Also, by the time the Christmas SWYAD comes around, expect the return of Cousin Mel.)

Can someone explain to me what AJR and Theory of a Deadman are doing on the Alt charts and why we're still apparently making both groups a thing?

AJR was pretty fine at first with "I'm Ready..."
But then they released one of the worst albums of 2017. It's not as horrifying as Spectrum Pulse suggests, who gave it a 1/10, but it still operates at least at a strong 2/10 for me. The Click is the kind of album that could've had some good potential, but yet it was completely ruined by the way it was executed.
-
And in case you guys aren't warned, let me recap on some of the tracks on AJR's album.
Spoiler"Overture" starts off good before proceeding into a chopped and screwed drop. And when it tries to redeem itself with the emotional-sounding portion, it then creates a messy mashup with a few of their other tracks. "Weak" has those horrible pseudo-Beach Boys falsettos in the chorus. "Sober Up," the song currently on the Alt charts, entails the singer telling a girl he hasn't known since recess in second grade to make him sober and has a pick-up line that goes "My favorite color is you." In "Netflix Trip," the singer looks back on the most important times of his life (his first crush, watching his mother grieve his grandfather's death, his eighth grade graduation) and connects them to his experience with watching The Office on Netflix, which happened during all those times. In "I'm Not Famous," the singer flaunts about he has no haters, doesn't get judged so much, and that no one cares about what he does because he's not a celebrity. "Three-Thirty" breaks the fourth wall ("how am I supposed to fit this in 3:30?") and tells its audience that they should listen before they skip the song because the band is only human and they don't stay for long. There's even one line that goes "I thought I had ADHD, but that's a real thing, and I'm just lazy." "The Good Part" is one of the most ironic titles for a song and has the second-most annoying set of falsettos on the album. And "No Grass Today" has a drop that sounds like....well, something in which I can't provide a link to. (TubeChop is not working for me ATM.)
Really, if you want to indulge in an album with a similar sound, I suggest just sticking to Jon Bellion's The Human Condition. It's not a superb album, but it's definitely polished a lot better than The Click.

Can I just say that I hate HATE Disney XD's new strategy in which they now air new episodes at a frequent pace for one month after stagnating them for few to several months? Over the course of this year, we've had two Milo bombs, one Star bomb with another one coming in November, one Pickle & Peanut bomb coming in October, and one Penn bomb (but then again, DXD had been yanking this show on a chain.)
-
It'll change soon, but right now, Big Mouth has a perfect score on Rotten Tomatoes.
...
Now it looks like I'm gonna have watch one or more episodes to see whether or not I'm delusional for hating the show immediately after seeing the trailer.
-
fred why did you like that cringy 2010 post that I made that I can never edit? why?

R.I.P. June Foray.

I'm not too late to notice that Disney XD has a new night block called DXD, which showcases video game variety programs. And IGN just so happens to have their own program on the network. Now, let me repeat that:
-IGN has their own show
-on Disney XD

So, Spectrum Pulse gave an album a 1/10 for the first time, and that was when I decided to listen to that AJR album out of curiosity, and good god, Mark wasn't kidding about the album being downright awful. It's not too close to the worst album of the decade, but you know how bad it is when I say that I even have some new appreciation towards Lukas Graham.

I've now come to realize that I despise "Shape of You" marginally more than "Don't Wanna Know."
I mean, the latter is basically the bare minimums in M5's part, but the same could be said for Ed's song. Like, the production is kinda lacking, Ed Sheeran's vocals are subdued. Besides that, it also has lines like "Your love was handmade for somebody like me," "although my heart is falling too," and in general, it's the type of song that doesn't quite fit in with the style of Ed's music. The rap-singing is nothing new to me, but he's done better with that tone in "Don't" and on some days, "You Need Me, I Don't Need You." Otherwise, "Shape of You" IMO is "Don't," but without the qualities that made the latter good. As for a few nitpicks, overplay killed it for me, and when I realized that it has a similar melody to "No Scrubs," it makes me wanna go back to that TLC song.
-
"Castle on the Hill" is at least a much better song. I didn't like it at first because it sounded too much like U2, but it grew on me within a couple months. To me, it's become more of a homage to U2 than a shameless rip-off, and for the most part, it gets right in what "7 Years" got wrong in the influential, past life reminisce narrative.

Queens of the Stone Age, The Killers, and Shania Twain release a new single on the same week <3.
