KCA's 2013

Shark Tale

Recommended Posts

lol it was never good

Actually I agree with this, even back when I use to be so excited when I was a kid. The more I think about it, the more obvious the problem sticks out. They have way too many categories. I mean they don't even bother keeping up with their multiple sports, video game, book, and other miniscule categories. They keep nominating the same stuff over and over again in hopes the kids don't notice it.

However, the more glaring problem is that they have way too many categories for a 90 minute run time of an awards show. I mean they could simply go two hours. That way they can fit time for more awards and still have their two unnecessary concerts, their burp/arm fart contest, slime records, and all the stunts they try to do to diversify themselves from other awards show while still being an awards show.

Oh my gosh, that reminds me of how they reveal some of them during commercials in 10 seconds >.>

Maybe you are as brainwashed by these things as I am.

Maybe it's the kid in us hypnotized by the slime or something.

the kids are being confused by the KCA'S

i think he was asking if lastchancetogohome hates the KCA's or the kids of America.

Ugh yeah, I hate it when they do that o.o

Hmmm Josh Duhmal or however the heck you spell his last name. He's pretty chill. I just don't like the fact that they now have hosts just to promote their movies. It just feels... cheap to me.

And promoting a chick flick rather than a film kids would like. Don't forget that.

My take on the nominees:

TELEVISION:

Favorite TV Show

Good Luck Charlie

iCarly

Victorious

Wizards of Waverly Place

I guess this is an ok one. Wizards might be out of place though. I think iCarly will win.

Favorite Reality Show

America’s Got Talent

American Idol

The Voice

Wipeout

Again, nothing bad. I bet Wipeout will win because it's the only comedy in there. JESSICA SANCHEZ was awesome though.

Favorite Cartoon

The Fairly OddParents

Phineas and Ferb

SpongeBob SquarePants

Tom and Jerry (Umm... what)

I'm mixed on this one. FOP isn't that funny anymore, P&F I guess might be a rival, SB is well, the site we're on, and Tom and Jerry. I don't get it. Tom and Jerry is from the golden days, and the reboots really just are a pathetic milking. Take a guess on who will win.

Favorite TV Actor

Jake T. Austin (Wizards of Waverly Place)

Lucas Cruikshank (Marvin Marvin)

Ross Lynch (Austin & Ally)

Carlos Pena (Big Time Rush)

Nobody here is really that great an actor. Their spots were not that good on each show. Jake T. Austin's hact got old in Season 3+, Lucas/Fred is horrible, Ross' acting is pathetic, and Carlos I guess is okay. Money's on Carlos.

Favorite TV Actress

Miranda Cosgrove (iCarly)

Selena Gomez (Wizards of Waverly Place)

Victoria Justice (Victorious)

Bridgit Mendler (Good Luck Charlie)

Not much that I can think of here. I think it's going to be Justina Bieba.

Favorite Movie

The Amazing Spider-Man

The Avengers

Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Dog Days

The Hunger Games

3 pieces of art, one kids movie. I haven't seen Dog Days, and I'm trying not to criticize it, but from what I've seen in ads, it's not that good. The Avengers since kids like action.

Favorite Movie Actor

Johnny Depp (Dark Shadows)

Andrew Garfield (The Amazing Spider-Man)

Zachary Gordon (Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Dog Days)

Will Smith (Men in Black 3)

Feels like the one above where you have 3 people that acted good and then Zach. His acting in Rodrick Rules was not that good though. I think it's going to be Will Smith.

Favorite Movie Actress

Vanessa Hudgens (Journey 2: The Mysterious Island)

Scarlett Johansson (The Avengers)

Jennifer Lawrence (The Hunger Games)

Kristen Stewart (The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2)

Nothing to say here, except the base-breaking Twilight thing. Johansson.

Favorite Animated Movie

Brave

Ice Age: Continental Drift

Madagascar 3: Europe’s Most Wanted

Wreck-It Ralph

I guess this one was an ok one. Haven't seen Madagascar 3. I'm guessing Wreck-It Ralph will win since the other two (excluding Madagascar) were okay. Autistic guy, if you were the one that didn't shut up during that night, you are being treated like a god. Get used to growing up.

Favorite Voice from an Animated Movie

Chris Rock (Madagascar 3: Europe’s Most Wanted)

Adam Sandler (Hotel Transylvania)

Ben Stiller (Madagascar 3: Europe’s Most Wanted)

Taylor Swift (The Lorax)

I've only seen the Lorax, and I can't remember the other's cartoon voices. Umm... Adam?

Favorite Male Buttkicker (new category) You couldn't just say "Favorite Male Actor in Action?

Robert Downey Jr. (The Avengers)

Andrew Garfield (The Amazing Spider-Man)

Chris Hemsworth (The Avengers)

Dwayne Johnson (Journey 2: The Mysterious Island)

You couldn't just say "Best Superpowered Male"? Anyway, I'm just going to say Robert as people recognize his role better.

Favorite Female Buttkicker (new category) Same as above

Anne Hathaway (The Dark Knight Rises)

Scarlett Johansson (The Avengers)

Jennifer Lawrence (The Hunger Games)

Kristen Stewart (Snow White and the Huntsman)

Haven't seen Snow White or Dark Night yet, but I think Jennifer will win, since most people have seen Hunger Games and liked it.

Favorite Music Group

Big Time Rush

Bon Jovi

Maroon 5

One Direction

Bon... Jovi. Bon bloody Jovi. What kid in the demographic knows who the heck they are? I bet Big Time Rush will win since this one was RIGGED.

Favorite Male Singer

Justin Bieber

Bruno Mars

Blake Shelton

Usher

This one is hard... But not many kids know Blake Shelton. Bruno Mars since boys and girls like him.

Favorite Female Singer

Adele

Katy Perry

P!nk

Taylor Swift

I'm going to say Katy Perry. I'm getting tired right now, and I don't

Favorite Song

"Call Me Maybe" (Carly Rae Jepsen)

"Gangnam Style" (PSY)

"We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together" (Taylor Swift)

"What Makes You Beautiful" (One Direction)

SPORTS:

Not even bothering with this one since I don't watch sports regularly.

OTHER CATEGORIES:

Favorite Villain (new category)

Reed Alexander (iCarly)

Simon Cowell (The X Factor)

Tom Hiddleston (The Avengers)

Julia Roberts (Mirror Mirror)

Favorite Book

Diary of a Wimpy Kid series

Harry Potter series

The Hunger Games series

Magic Tree House series

Favorite Video Game

Just Dance 4

Mario Kart 7

Skylanders Giants

Wii Sports

I wish I had that bloody Skylanders game >.> Wait... Wii Sports? lol that game is from 2006! Just Dance 4 for it's ambizygouness (Box, how do you say it?)

Favorite App (new category)

Angry Birds

Fruit Ninja

Minecraft

Temple Run

I guess this was a good idea to add. I'd say Temple Run because of it's popularity.

My takes on the categories. Still editing, I jsut have work to do.
