Well, they made a bet where Spongebob couldn't cry one tear. And yet I noticed this (Around 7:36 of the ep, when they are watching the news stories): Spoiler So there you have it. I find this to be such a silly goof from those silly writers . Yes, I know this is a couple-frame thing, but it's still kind of odd.
