Clappy Posted February 29, 2012 Share Posted February 29, 2012 Davy Jones, the lead singer of beloved TV singing group The Monkees, has died at age 66 this morning. The circumstances of his death are not yet known. He was a daydream believer. Feel like those lyrics apply to this sad situation. While The Beatles were the biggest import in music from England, The Monkees were pretty damn good as well. It's going to be a sad day in this house since my mom was the biggest Monkees fan. I may not be as big of a fan as she is, but The Monkees are still a big name in music and this is quite the loss. He also happens to be Reg, Reginald Fairfield in my sig. R.I.P. Davy.
