Fox McCloud Posted June 7, 2020 Posted June 7, 2020 Via TV: If it counts, an animated movie based on the animated series, "Pororo", originally from South Korea, called "The Little Penguin: Pororo's Racing Adventure". And believe it or not, I think this movie might be the BEST acting I've ever heard from Rob Schneider, of ALL people! Now, why can't he sound THAT good in the OTHER 99% of the movies that he's a part of? Check it out for yourself, if you need convincing. Enough said, true believers!
Old Man Jenkins Posted June 26, 2020 Posted June 26, 2020 (edited) Psycho Stripper; LMN's gone full-on Syfy for women. Kind of a good thing that my grandma forgot her once favorite channel existed. Nightcrawler, man this movie got robbed of some due recognition during its time. Still holds up. Edited July 14, 2020 by Old Man Jenkins
Katniss Posted July 20, 2020 Posted July 20, 2020 Palm Springs really funny, really weird, really moving. Cristin Milioti rules. Andy Samberg does too.
Katniss Posted August 18, 2020 Posted August 18, 2020 (edited) Fighting With My Family when this movie was first announced a few years ago, I made a really ignorant and cringey comment about how they could make a full-length movie about a (at the time) 24-year-old wrestler. Boy was I wrong. This movie was a real good time and Florence Pugh rules Edited August 18, 2020 by Katniss
Fox McCloud Posted September 3, 2020 Posted September 3, 2020 I went to my local drive-in, where they're currently playing vintage movies, and I saw the original "Men In Black", since it was one of my birthday presents, to be treated to a movie. It's still a good movie to see, even after all these years.
Katniss Posted September 13, 2020 Posted September 13, 2020 The Peanut Butter Falcon a really fun and sweet road trip movie. Also I might have a crush on Shia Labeouf now??
Fox McCloud Posted September 13, 2020 Posted September 13, 2020 At the Drive-In, I saw the brand NEW movie, "Bill & Ted: Face The Music", it's just as GOOD as the FIRST one, which is pretty impressive, considering the 31 year gap between them! I haven't seen the second one, so I don't know how to rate that one yet. Enough said, true believers!
Old Man Jenkins Posted October 10, 2020 Posted October 10, 2020 (edited) White Lightning and Gator back-to-back. RIP Burt Reynolds Night of The Lepus, definitely needed this laugh Edited October 13, 2020 by Old Man Jenkins
Fox McCloud Posted October 15, 2020 Posted October 15, 2020 At my local drive-in theater, they were playing the movie "Coco", which I saw for the very first time. Very good movie, very powerful, kind of a bittersweet ending. Bring a box of tissues (for crying, get your mind out of the gutter!) I highly recommend watching it! Enough said, true believer!
Fox McCloud Posted November 17, 2020 Posted November 17, 2020 My local Drive-In was re-playing "Spaceballs", so I got to see it on the big screen for the very first time!
Aphrodite Posted November 18, 2020 Posted November 18, 2020 Hocus Pocus. "Yabbos" and pretty much any of Sarah's lines have become in-jokes between me and my partners.
Aphrodite Posted November 20, 2020 Posted November 20, 2020 Tokyo Gore Police and Ichi the Killer; I've started attending Kast movie nights hosted by my Twitter friend Sadie Satanas, where she shows trashy grindhouse splatter films; this was my first time being there, and lemme tell ya, I was not disappointed.
Fox McCloud Posted December 4, 2020 Posted December 4, 2020 My local drive-in was playing the new movie, "The Croods: Dawn Of A New Age". I actually thought it was a BETTER movie than the first one!
Old Man Jenkins Posted February 24, 2021 Posted February 24, 2021 Piranha (1978), pristine horror comedy
Fox McCloud Posted February 25, 2021 Posted February 25, 2021 At the Drive In, "Wonder Woman 1984", another very good superhero movie, and via TV, a 1938 live-action movie called "Gold Is Where You Find It" (Yes, that was a REAL movie, not just a one-off gag in the "Looney Tunes" cartoon short "Daffy Duck in Hollywood").
