In honor of Spongebob's birthday, I have decided to create a fun little poll, and get the involvement of anyone who wants to, to submit what would be the best birthday music on Spongebob's birthday. And YES, it HAS to be one of the ten choices that is provided; and NO, you cannot provide any ALTERNATE music sources of your choice, otherwise, it won't count towards the poll. Anyways, let's make this a fun poll/topic that Spongebob can be proud of!

I don't know WHAT'S stranger; the fact that Hayden doesn't know the definition of "Sarcasm", or the fact that he actually FOUND a band called "None", that actually exists! o.o I'll just split the difference and grab myself a piece of birthday cake.

The Beach Boys would probably be a more fitting choice given the underwater beachy atmosphere of the show but since that's not on there, I'm gonna go with my personal bias and say Duran Duran.

edit: oh shit, forgot about rock lobster, changin' my vote

I know a playlist doesn't count, but if you look from my own personal perspective, I'd imagine any or all of these songs being best played for celebrating SB's birthday:

Stadium Rave - Mark Governor,. Glenn Nishida
Ocean Man - Ween
SpongeBob & Patrick Confront the Psychic Wall of Energy - The Flaming Lips
'Cause I'm a Man - Tame Impala (this inclusion is primarily because Hillenburg has been said to be a fan of this group)

Superfast Jellyfish - Gorillaz featuring Gruff Rhys and De La Soul
Sunny Beach - Stewart Copeland
Surfin' Safari - The Beach Boys (then again, a lot other BB songs would work)
Under the Sea - Samuel E. Wright (daring today, aren't I?)
One Love - Bob Marley & The Wailers
Rock Lobster - The B'52's
Burning Down the House - Talking Heads
Rockaway Beach - The Ramones
Underwater Sun - The Bird Brains / Peter Strauss and Lux Interior
Sweet Victory - David Glen Eisley (especially after the Super Bowl controversy over not playing this song, you can't not include this)

Based on those ten options on that poll, my best pick would have to be The B-52's. Out of all those choices, the band's music is the closest in drawing some parallels to the tone of the SB series for me.
