The psychological aspect of it always intrigues me, its something that I haven't seen as much in other mecha animes. My favorite character is Shinji also. Aya♥ Posted September 3, 2017 Share Posted September 3, 2017 My favorite aspect of the show is the themes, whether it be the religious undertones, or the coming of age story that follows Shinji all the way up until EoE.
