Burgerpants
i.e: Bands like LCD Soundsystem, Death From Above 1979, !!!, or Hadouken! that make... well, really danceable punk music. Guess you could throw in discussion of Electropunk (bands like Atari Teenage Riot, Mindless Self Indulgence, Devo kinda-to-an-extent) and funk punk (in other words, Flipper) too. I dig most, if not all the bands I've heard in the above three genres. Edit: Apparently, DFA are coming near where I live. I should get tickets on either date. Sweat
Danceable punk is my fucking weakness, man. LCD Soundsystem are good, but I especially love the weirdo punk-funk stuff from the 70s like The Contortions and The Pop Group.

Steel Sponge
The Yeah Yeah Yeahs and Franz Ferdinand are only two of these type of bands I'd listen to as often. To be fair though, I have listened to some LCD Soundsystem and Death From Above 1979, and I'm willing to get more into them.

Katniss
Like Steel I've mainly listened to Franz Ferdinand and Yeah Yeah Yeahs, though I'd be down to check out other bands from this genre.
Elastic Dawg
Dance-punk is stupid as fuck, but I can't help but love it. ESPECIALLY Death from Above 1979 and LCD Soundsystem. I wouldn't lump it in with synth punk (Suicide, the Screamers, Nervous Gender) and funk punk (early RHCP, Big Boys, Tar Babies), though. They're all distinctly different styles, imo.
