Do you have any nervous habits?

With OCD, my life is full of nervous habits. If I do anything I feel like could rub someone the wrong way even slightly I have to change it. If I don't this nervousness increases. I'm afraid to be out of control of my thoughts so I have to tap or think of quotes/music to feel sane, even though my thoughts aren't bad. Another one is editing posts or pictures a million times to fear I won't offend someone with something slightly imperfect. And other times I don't care. The things I don't have nervous feelings about, they might seem sloppy. But to me it's relief I have some things I don't have to perfect.

My OCD and irrational thoughts twisted me into the beast I am today when it comes to nervous habits. That aside, I scratch my eczema rashes, rub the back of my neck, and twirl my hair when I'm anxious around others.

- Pen/pencil tapping

- Leg bouncing

- Jaw clenching

- Pooping

No smoking?

I like to talk to my friends when I'm nervous. Habits include biting my hangnails and pacing back and forth.
