I feel sorry for the families losing the people who have died in this tragedy. It was destroyed by a missile likely launched by pro-Russian separatists. They had already shot down two aircraft this week, so all fingers point towards them. crushingmayhem Posted July 18, 2014 Share Posted July 18, 2014 The plane was indeed shot down. Apparently it was done by Russian separatists in eastern Ukraine. Even though this hasn't been confirmed yet. Guess they needed to take another flight route, but apparently that's a major transit route between Europe and Asia so it could've happened to any plane passing through that region. President Squidward Posted July 18, 2014 Share Posted July 18, 2014 I really don't get why you'd shoot a plane down in the first place because it looked like an enemy plane.
