  1. Finally starting to watch "Smiling Friends" from episodes I've recorded on my DVR, I've watched the first three so far. It's looking pretty good so far.
  2. I'm starting to watch this series now. I'm only a few episodes in (I've got the other episodes that have premiered on DVR), but it looks really interesting from what I've seen so far!
  3. I wasn't even AWARE that some OTHER people were NOT hating "One Coarse Meal" as much as they used to; but for me, I cannot understand how ANYONE could HONESTLY defend that episode segment! Mr. Krabs LITERALLY tried to terrorize Plankton to the point where he TRIED to honestly KILL himself! If Plankton ever tried to do THAT to Mr. Krabs, people would be SCREAMING from the top of a freaking mountain on how WRONG that is; so I am NOT going to stand for such hypocrisy, which is why I made it my number two pick! "Someone's In The Kitchen With Sandy", made my list because at number nine...who in their right MIND would make an episode about Sandy being able to remove her fur, have it STOLEN by Plankton (in one of his WORST attempts to steal the Krabby Patty Secret Formula EVER) and Sandy somehow going to jail for running around without her fur, even though that WASN'T even her fault! "Clash Of Triton" made my list at number eight, because a concept that SHOULD'VE revolved around King Neptune's Birthday, instead revolves around King Neptune punishing Triton for liking the surface world; and by the time Spongebob and Patrick find him, he's become SO jaded he goes on a RAMPAGE against the surface world, and neither King Neptune or Triton get punished for their actions by ANYONE! "Are You Happy Now?; The Splinter; Waiting; Face-Freeze"; and "Big Sister Sam" all barely missed making my list; and I'm REALLY surprised "House Sitting For Sandy" made this list, as it's another too boring to really care about episode in my books. As for the other dishonorable mentions, most of them I'm not sure why ANYONE would hate them enough to put them on their lists. Anyways, we're finally getting to the top (of the bottom) ten! Be prepared for just about anything!
  4. The funny (Plankton: "In a cosmic sort of way, Yes.") part about season 7 episodes such as "Yours, Mine, And Mine", is that even though season 7 is STILL the WORST season of "Spongebob Squarepants" yet, the odd part is how (at least for me) even though I KNOW I've watched every single episode segment that's aired (as of May 16, 2024) at least once, I don't really REMEMBER most of those episodes for being straight up bad, just forgetful (probably for the best, given season 7's quality!) That being said, "Yours, Mine, and Mine" probably would've made MY list had there been more choices available. And I'm honestly surprised "Summer Job" made this list. In my mind, it's really not BAD enough to qualify for this list. Certainly not like some OTHER choices that I personally made! Hopefully, we'll get to see what they are sooner or later. Enough said, true believers!
  5. I took off my list, now that I know who falls under the category of Emo Artists, and the fact that I personally haven't listened to enough of that kind of music to warrant making a list.
  6. "Keep Bikini Bottom Beautiful" probably would have made my list had there been more choices. Honestly speaking, aside from the gross-up close-up in "Whobob Whatpants"; the episode special isn't TOO bad, especially if one views all the other BAD episodes (that will be ranked AFTER "Whobob Whatpants") and consider THOSE episodes as having come right BEFORE "Whobob Whatpants" happened, THAN the episode makes a lot more sense for Spongebob's friends to act THAT way! At least Squidward got "Laser Guided Karma" in the end, so I can't hate the episode (I'm not even sure if I ever really have). Enough said, true believers!
  7. "The Main Drain" is another one of those episodes I completely forget about, as I personally don't think it has any BAD writing; but it also doesn't have any GOOD writing! So I guess it's...mediocre. Squidward: "Mediocre?" And "Squid's Visit"...on the one hand, it doesn't make ANY continuity sense as Squidward HAS visited Spongebob's house PLENTY of times in the past and has NEVER complained about it (unless the episode was MEANT to take place BEFORE Squidward had EVER visited Spongebob's house, in which case; the writers should have made THAT part more clear!) On the other hand, I personally find the episode to be on the same, watchable level that "Slide Whistle Stooges" is, so I can see this episode completely slipping OFF the Worst list the next time we have one of these. Enough said, true believers!
  8. Here's mine. / 1. "Smooth Criminal" by Alien Ant Farm. 2. "Hero" by Chad Kroeger and Josey Scott. 3. "This Love" by Maroon 5. 4. "She Will Be Loved" by Maroon 5. "Really Makes Me Wonder" by Maroon 5. 6. "By The Way" by the Red Hot Chili Peppers. 7. "The Zephyr Song" by the Red Hot Chili Peppers. 8. "Dani California" by the Red Hot Chili Peppers. 9. "Saving Grace" by Tom Petty. / I hope you enjoy my choices as much as I did coming up with them! Edit: Just forget my choices. Now that I've seen who the Emo Artists ACTUALLY are, there simply aren't enough choices for me (taken or otherwise) to warrant ME putting a list together for this. Maybe some other time.
  9. I recently bought some NEW (old) stuff! A Bonnie Raitt CD collection, with FIVE CD's for the price of about two; mostly music she's made that I've never heard before, but so far; it's really solid stuff! I've gotten through the first two CD's in the collection, 1974's "Streetlights", and 1975's "Home Plate". Still need to listen to "Sweet Forgiveness", "The Glow", and "Green Light". I am also working through Night Ranger's 1989 "Greatest Hits" CD album; "Don't Tell Me You Love Me" might be one of the best ANTI-Love Songs ever written, and "Sister Christian" might just be the BEST Power Ballad ever written! Enough said, true believers!
  10. Let's see, since the last time I posted; the major games I have beaten are the "Super Mario RPG" remake for the Switch; the "Arcade Archives" version of "King Of The Monsters 2", and "Turrican" for the Amiga via "Turrican Flashback" for the Nintendo Switch. I am currently working on the other "Turrican" games within that collection.
  11. "Fungus Among Us" made my list at number 7; I honestly thought "Rodeo Daze" was too forgettable (which from my standpoint, is better than being outright bad, so it didn't make my list). I have a...complicated outlook with "Little Yellow Book". On the one hand, I feel like it was the writer's way of TRYING to throw Squidward a bone for all the times he has been HORRIBLY treated throughout the series (justified or otherwise), but the writers could've just as EASILY done the plot with Squilliam, a character who actually DESERVES to be mocked. "Little Yellow Book" probably would've made my list with more choices available. And I'm honestly surprised that I'm the one who ranked "A Pal For Gary" the highest! Than again...we HAVE never seen Spongebob act THAT stupid or ignorant towards anything ELSE since that episode has aired, so if anything GOOD can be said to have come from THAT episode airing, it's that! Can't wait to see which episode scores the highest (by being the lowest!) Enough said, true believers!
  12. "Demolition Doofus" actually made my list at #12, due to how OOC Mrs. Puff is. "Trenchbillies" probably would've gotten on my list with 25 choices. "A Squarepants Family Vacation" is SO unmemorable, I didn't even THINK of it as a choice; and "Slide Whistle Stooges"...I personally don't consider it a BAD episode segment; certainly a LOT better than some episode segments I could MENTION! It will be interesting to see how what the other episode segments are!
  13. Will we eventually get a list of all the episodes that were chosen on People's lists (but didn't make enough points to make it on the Official list) see where they ranked as (DIS)-Honorable Mentions?
  14. Remember, tomorrow on May 10; marks the 42nd anniversary of Duran Duran's mega-hit album "Rio", debuting! That is all I wanted to say! :hysterical:

  15. Another week, another...NICKEL!!!! On TV, I saw "That's Entertainment!", probably one of the best love letters to the Golden Age of MGM's film-making years, between 1929-1971. And I saw "Arthur The King", pretty decent movie based on a true story and starring Mark Wahlberg; but doesn't star as much of the dog as I would've hoped for. Still pretty interesting to see. Enough said, true believers!
  16. "Dragonball Z" (the Japanese Anime) is turning 35 this year, and as a belated tribute to Akira Toriyama; I'll be "Dragonball Z"!
  17. "Cabrini" in movie theaters, INCREDIBLE movie based on a true, relatively previously obscure story of the first female American to be canonized into sainthood; just know in advance that it's a little HARD to watch, especially if you ARE descended from Italian immigrants from 1889; when the movie is set. There IS a happy ending, but MAN; if Cabrini doesn't have to do EVERYTHING she can in order to earn it! Enough said, true believers!
  18. Another week, another...NICKEL!!!! On TV, I saw "Big Top Scooby-Doo" for the first time, pretty good Direct To DVD animated "Scooby-Doo" film. And "Godzilla X Kong: The New Empire"; come for the giant reptile and the giant ape, STAY for the giant reptile and the giant ape!...Although it probably would've SUCKED to be a human actor in "Godzilla X Kong", knowing you're going to get upstaged by 50 foot monstrosities that technically AREN'T even there...although the paychecks and royalties probably even things out in the LONG run! Enough said, true believers!
  19. I'm back! On the bright side, I'm glad that while I was gone, I got to go to the Comedy and Magic Club in Hermosa Beach and see Jay Leno perform live (why didn't somebody TELL me he could be so funny a whole lot SOONER?!); I am bummed that a concert that I wanted to go see BEFORE I got back home (Jimmie Vaughan, former lead singer of The Fabulous Thunderbirds and Stevie Ray Vaughan's brother) was cancelled and there wasn't even any NOTICE at the concert venue, and we didn't find out until we visited his OWN website 15 minutes BEFORE the concert was supposed to start that the event would be postponed until October 15th! COME ON!!!! That's POOR management skills, people! Although, it did let me get back home sooner than I otherwise would've, finish unpacking, and allow me to not be TOO tired to write on here tonight, so I guess it KIND of evens out. Enough said, true believers!

  20. Here's mine. / The B-52's: "Legal Tender, Girl From Ipanema Goes To Greenland, Loveshack"; Madonna: "Burning Up, Material Girl, Causing A Commotion"; Tom Petty And The Heartbreakers: "A Woman In Love (It's Not Me), Don't Come Around Here No More", and "Free Fallin'".
  21. UGH!!!! It's bad enough I seem to hardly be able to get on THIS site anymore (seriously, someone PLEASE invent more hours in a day, or find a way to make time move at LEAST a little bit slower); but in any case, I have to go out of town this Saturday, and I won't be able to get back until late Tuesday night. And since I have no idea what my Internet capabilities are going to be like where I'm going to, it's possible that I won't be able to post here while I'm gone. So it's possible I won't be able to post on here again until this upcoming Wednesday. Just wanted to give people the heads up on what was happening with me!

  22. "Tango Triangle" is now called "Dance Rivals!"
