Instrumental/Classical Music

Preferably music without lyrics, and/or music with angelic chanting as well. Mozart, Beethoven, Vivaldi, that-one-overused-movie-ad-music-that-I-don't-want-to-waste-my-time-trying-to-get-the-name, Requiem for a Dream, etc.

 

Discuss. If there's already a thread similar to this, then shame on me.

Pretty underrated. Provided that it has a nice melody, it can be just as nice as a "Word" song.

Orchestra music beautifully soothes my soul on occasions. I really love piano and rag piano too. Like Scott Joplin.

I sometimes hear classical music from a radio station over here. Especially Mozart's and Beethoven's works.

Dick Dale, too. 50s/60s instrumental garage/surf stuff is so great its unbelievable. Mozart had that song about sucking ass, so that's cool I guess.

I like a few classical songs, and music with angelic church choir-like singing is cool, but it really isn't much different from music with lyrics if you really think about it.

To bring more light into this thread, Tchaikovsky is starting to grow on me right now, with the Nutcracker ballet/suite. To change the subject in a different note, I can't say that I'm a big fan of "In the Hall of the Mountain King," which would be the song I was trying to refer to in my first post.
