How much longer do you think Spongebob would have to wait to apply for a fry cook job if Jim never quit his job when he did in The Original Fry Cook?

Basically, everyone who's seen The Original Fry Cook knows that during a flashback, Jim quit his job because he was underpayed. If he still stayed at his job at the Krusty Krab, how much longer do you think Spongebob would have to wait for the events of Help Wanted to happen? I'd say about 1-3 months, but I don't know. I guess a couple months after the events of the flashback, Jim decided it was time to move on to bigger and better things, so i'd guess he just quit and the day after, the events of Help Wanted could happen. Discuss.

Well, Jim wouldn't work there forever. He would have quit eventually even if he didn't have that feud with Mr. Krabs. In Sweet and Sour Squid, it was revealed Squidward worked at the KK 20 years. Jim probably wouldn't have worked that long.

He would've just waited for a few more years. After all, Jim wasn't gonna work in the Krusty Krab forever and perhaps Spongebob would find a job elsewhere.

I'd say SpongeBob would have found another job by the time Jim left the Krusty Krab.  He probably would have found a Help Wanted sign elsewhere.
