Clappy Posted January 7, 2012 Share Posted January 7, 2012 So after two great Spider-Man films....and a mediocre third one, Sony decided to wipe the slate clean and reboot the franchise with a younger (not really) Peter Parker, having Gwen Stacy (Emma Stone <3) as the main female love interest, having The Lizard (who btw looks incredibly lulzy) as the main villain, and kicking Sam Raimi off and having the director of (500) Days of Summer run the first movie. I am incredibly on the fence after watching the trailer, but maybe others might be sold? Thoughts? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

So far I'm hearing nothing but positive stuff especially about Marc Webb's effect on the film, which concerned me a lot when I heard he first got the job to direct.
