Clappy Posted August 3, 2011 Posted August 3, 2011 Yay for the starchy goodness that is Cracker Barrel! I freaking love this place so much. Any other fans?
Clappy Posted August 3, 2011 Author Posted August 3, 2011 Pretty good but not my favorite place for breakfast.I actually have never had any of their breakfast stuff. I have only been there for dinner and their home fries and dumplings are delicious!!

Sebby Posted August 9, 2011 Posted August 9, 2011 I don't know if there's a Cracker Barrel where I live, but from what I've read on Wikipedia, the place has been accused for racism. It's called the Cracker Barrel, what do you expect?
person Posted August 25, 2011 Posted August 25, 2011 ...it's a place? didn't know that. cracker barrel is my favorite brand of cheese, but i didn't know it was a place.
Katniss Posted September 29, 2017 Posted September 29, 2017 Been to this place a few times and it's good. I like the homey atmosphere and it has some delicious Southern-style food. I love their pancakes but the chicken and dumplings are tasty too.
Aya♥ Posted September 29, 2017 Posted September 29, 2017 forever and always will get their Rainbow Trout
SG19 Posted October 5, 2017 Posted October 5, 2017 Never tried the food, but I did have an interview there. Couple of things I learned from that is you walk through a gift shop to get to the restaurant and the place definitely screams Southern pride.
Guest hilaryfan80 Posted October 5, 2017 Posted October 5, 2017 I think Cracker Barrel is ok. I used to work for a place as a waiter that was pretty much designed as a Cracker Barrel before "they went to s***," so I kind of worked with the food firsthand. It is most definitely a southern pride thing. Kentucky is filled with Cracker Barrel locations, if that says anything about southern pride. Cracker Barrel itself is kind of trashy, in my honest opinion, but I do love the peg games and their peach pancakes. There's also this weird tradition that my paternal family has where we go to Cracker Barrel after every funeral. I'm not sure how that started.
