That doesn't surprise me. I don't recall those books being that meaty. I actually kind of liked the first movie, but not the second. The second didn't have Chloe Moretz, who is awesome... maybe just because of Kick-Ass.

Update: I have now read the fourth book in the series, and I soon hope to read the 5th and 6th books as well.

I loved the Dog Days movie! I thought they didn't do a whole movie for three because of swearing. In the book it says F@#%! Censored exactly like that and it's a family movie and I doubt they could sensor it in a kids movie.
